"What makes this game so amazing is how bad it is."

I borrowed NFL Quarterback Club 2000 from a friend to write this review. I had heard about how bad it was, but I couldn't believe it. It can't be that bad. I was wrong. You have to play it to get a feel for how bad it actually is.

Graphics - 3
There are a few good scenes, but they are far and few in between. The graphics are an insult to the Sega Dreamcast. The frame rate might possibly be the lowest for any dreamcast game. The looks of the game also negatively effect gameplay.

Sound - 5
The sound was okay at best, and it was the best feature in the game. It was still nothing special and did not compare to NFL2K.

Gameplay - 1
This is the lowest grade I can give. The control is terrible, the receivers can't catch, and the AI is awful. The game makes poor use of the Dremcast's analog control features. Passing, running and defense are all impossible. The game is buggy and every other problem you can think of is present in this game.

Lasting Appeal - 1
You won't want to play this game after about 5 plays. It has a lasting appeal of about 5 minutes. If you want to get more lasting appeal, use the game as a Frisbee.

Final Score - 3
What was Acclaim thinking when they released this? We saw how bad the N64 version was. It is like they are deliberately trying to make a bad, annoying game that nobody will buy. Buy or Rent? Don't even rent this game. If you don't believe my review of this game, go ahead rent it. What makes this game so amazing is how bad it is. This game is a leap backwards for the Quarterback Club series and Acclaim.
