Street Fighter Alpha 3
Review by Evil_Angel
"Same as the PSX version, except faster load time, better graphic, larger character"
SFA 3 is the best 2D fighting game for PSX, and the DC version will be the best 2D fighting game (even when SF3 comes out).
This game is basically a Street Fighter collection game because you can play as all Street Fighter characters (except SF3's and SF EX). Old favorites like Blanka, E. Honda, and Cammy are back, and even Guile, Fei-Long, T. Hawk are included in this home version (they are not available in the arcade version). There are also different modes like the Final Battle, team battle, and World Tour mode.
Gameplay (10.0)
Tons of characters to choose from. The World Tour mode also give some depth and RPG elements to this game. Basically you pick a character, and you would gain experience as you win more and more battles, and your character become stronger. This mode is also where you unlock most of the secrets of this game.
Controls (10.0)
Standard Street Fighter control. Although you may want to get a joystick because the DC gamepad is hard to use (since it's kind of long)
Graphic (10)
The graphic is identical to the arcade (as far as I can tell). The character size is bigger than the PSX version, which is nice.
Sound (9)
The sound is alright.
Replayability (10)
With all the charcters, game modes, and extra, it's difficult not to spend hours and hours playing this game.
Buy or not?
Well, frankly, after all these years, I am getting tired of Street Fighter, but this is still a buy because as I said before, this is the best 2-D fighting game period.
