Glitch: Score by getting in a run down.
Get someone on first or second base. Before the pitcher goes into his windup, try to advance the runner. The pitcher will throw the ball to the base you are trying to steal. You will now be in a run down. The fielder will chase you back to the bag. Then, as soon as your baserunner goes into the slide animation, press the buttons to advance to the next base. The player with the ball will freeze until you get to the base, then they will throw it to the next base you can steal. Here is a more easy way to explain it:
Runner on 1st.
Try to steal second before the pitcher goes into the windup.
Pitcher will throw it to second basemen, who will then chase you down. Press the buttons to go back to second base.
As soon as you see your baserunner slide, rapidly press the buttons to advance him to second.
The 2nd basemen will throw it to first while you are running to second. The first basemen will hold the ball until you get to the base, then throw it to 3rd. Do the same
Change computer shutouts.
When playing a season or franchise, go to the schedule screen, then press X to get the list of games and start times. When you simulate games, it gives you the score. If one of the computer teams throws a shutout, you can simulate it again by pressing A. If there is another shutout, it will simulate it again and again, until both teams score.
Get a huge batting cursor
While hitting, hold the R trigger button before the pitcher goes into the windup. The hitting cursor will come up later than the normal cursor, but when it does, it will be VERY BIG! The cursor shrinks to normal size as the pitch comes to the plate, but hitting with the huge cursor is still a lot easier.
Reset the pitch count
This can only be done if you're hitting and have a runner on base. Have the runner steal and do whatever with him, make him steal or go back to his base, but immediately hold down Y before the camera switches back to the batter. If you did it correctly it should show the animation of your batter walking up to the plate and the count will be reset back to 0-0.
