"This game has owned my soul for now and forever"
Trauma Center is another wonderful game made by Atlus. It has one of the most innovative ideas for the DS. You only use the touch screen to perform many different operations.
Trauma Center does what it needs to. It has basically has anime characters on the top screens telling you what to do and how to do it. Then you have your patients body on the bottom screen. Everything has its own unique look. The characters are are all 2D and the patients are all untextured 3D. You can tell what is what.
Final Verdict - 7/10
The sound in trauma center is exciting and fast. You get pumped up and get into what your doing just with the music. If anything the music is great. Sounds for each one of you tools is here to. You can hear Cutting someone open, Injecting medication, Stitching, put band aids on, Applying pressing to anything, pulling things out of someones body. Anything you can think of. The sound has got me ready to perform some surgery.
Final Verdict - 9.5/10
You are Derek Styles a rookie in the O.R. You basically guide him through operations and learn things on things from your helpful nurse. As you advance you become respected and trusted. That is all there is to it.
Final Verdict - 7/10
This is where the game shines. YOu have 10 tools at yo disposal all of which you will need time and time again. You have stitches, Needles, Lasers, Medication for wounds and more. You have on average a 5 minute time limit for your operations. Sometimes you barley have enough time to do what you have to do. This is what makes the game challenging. If you also want to improve yor scores on what you did you have a challenge mode in which you can re-do the operation to your hearts desire.
Final Verdict - 10/10
Rent Or Buy: BUY! its only $30, a steal at that price. If you can find it I highly recommend you take up on the offer.
