7. Sleep Mode**************************************DS7***********************
Whenever you close your DS (of any model) during gameplay or some other
situations, it will enter Sleep Mode. This mode is a power-saving mode. Most
DS's will last approximately a week in Sleep Mode (if fully charged). However,
sometimes, you cannot enter it, such as when saving or in Wi-Fi communication.

Also, a few games, such as Super Mario 64 DS, make a sound upon entering and
exiting Sleep Mode. This may be normal. If it lasts more than about 5 seconds,
then the game cannot be put in Sleep Mode at the time for various reasons.

8. Wi-Fi**************************************DS8****************************
(Local)
Some games, such as Mario Kart DS and all of the DS Pokemon games, allow
multiplayer. These multiplayer functions can be used when near others. For
example, you can use the DS Download Play function of the DS/DSi to play Mario
Kart DS, even if your friend doesn't have the game. However, Pokemon requires
all of those who want to do multiplayer trades/battles/etc. to have one of the
Pokemon games in the DS series. Therefore, Pokemon doesn't allow DS Download
Play.

(Nintendo WFC)
If you have a wireless router and a broadband Internet connection, you can
"extend" the Wi-Fi from the normal ~100 feet to worldwide. Yes, some games can
do that, such as our previous two examples. This may enable new functions (such
as voice chat in Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver) or disable others (like some
trading in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games).

9. Stuff Automatically on all DS's***********************************DS9*****
There are a few things that all DS models can do:

- PictoChat (needs Wi-Fi)
- Multiplayer game playing, Wi-Fi and local
- Play DS games
