How to Digivolve past 'Max'?

Some digimon say that they max out at a certain level, like Galgomon does at 20-something, but in order to digivole it Galgomon needs to be above lvl 30?

Is there a way to get around that or something?
Same thing keeps happening for my Tyrannimon to a Triceramon and such.

You have to degenerate your Digimon down to a lower level in order to raise its max level. Like for example you would degenerate your Tyrannomon back down to its rookie for or even its in training form and then its max level would be higher. Sometimes this has to be done a few times to get the max level high enough and its all so a great way to raise stats.
