"Do I have to say it?"
Well, the newest Legend of Zelda is out. But how did it fare? Unless you click a random review, you already know.
Story - ?/10
Graphics - Depends/10
If you weren't a big fan of Wind Waker's graphics, you won't be amazed here. But It is fully 3D and, sadly (and surprisingly), the explosions from when you defeat an enemy in this game is more realistic than the 'cube version.
Gameplay (running around) - 9/10
There's always someplace to go, or something to do. EXCEPT in the beginning. There is a puzzle that asks a number of something and, well, it's Japanese. Quite annoying.
Gameplay (Dungeons) - 8/10
The dungeons were on the short side compared to A Link to the Past and the original LoZ, and every other Zelda game. But they did add a few new twists, which I enjoyed.
Weapons - 10/10 (for now)
Dude. The boomerang was cool. You draw it's path and it goes. I haven't gotten any other weapons though (other than sword and shield).
Multiplayer - 99999999999999/10 (No, I didn't forget a decimal.)
Dang. Single card. Wi-fi. (maybe) Multi-card. It is, put simply, the God of multiplayer games (for me). What you have to do is one person (of two. I think this is the only multiplayer mode) runs around trying to collect Force Gems (Floating triangles). The bigger the force gem, the slower they walk whilst carrying it and the more points it's worth. They need to carry it with them (like you would carry a pot in LoZ) and toss it in a red (or blue, depending on which you are, P1 is red, P2 is blue) zone and you score those points. There are neutral zones where you can throw your enemies force gems (you'll know it's theirs because it's their color) to make it up for grabs again. You can also hide in these areas from some bad guys that look like Darknuts to me. The other player controls these Darknuts (there are 3) using their touch screen. If you get hit by one of their swords, both players switch turns. The winner is the one with the most points at the end. There are also 8 different maps to choose from, with an option to do random.
This game is a godsend. GO BUY IT NOW.
