"Adorable"

This game is adorable, more-so based for girls, or girly guys. General Americans may not be able to appreciate the game's weirdness and, the text is also in Japanese, possibly rendering the game unplayable to bilingual people. I, however, do not speak Japanese, it would be helpful though. A couple words are good to know to be able to teach the hamster, it becomes sad if you don‘t teach it things occasionally. Yes, the hamster learns from you and actually talks to you. The game isn't that hard to understand if you don't know Japanese (don‘t worry though, you can look up simple phrases online). Some aspects of it wont be able to be accessed though. On with the review.

I very much recommend this game. It's something that is playable for any mood. The animation is very well done and very cute. You play fun short mini games and if you win, you retrieve food, cages, accessories galore for your hamster. You have to keep your hamster happy by feeding it, brushing it, cleaning its cage, teaching it, and playing with it. All the hamsters have different personalities (ex. my sister's is timid while mine is outgoing and adventurous). They also have different voices. The selection of hamsters you can chose from is relatively large. They are all, again, adorable. You can dress up your hamsters. Not in full body suits, but bows, or glasses, or hats, or earrings. It's SO cute! You can also let it explore in your virtual bedroom where it may find some presents laying on the ground.

But yes, this game provides a large amount of entertainment for me, and although at times I feel sick of it, I can't seem to stop playing. It is enjoyable for any time. And I brag to my friends about owning an all around adorable and loveable Japanese game. If you come across this game, definitely purchase it. It's also a nice look into another culture in a fun way.
