"Great for gamer who do not have ADD and like to relax with a game"
So the story starts out with Alph and his friends and you are set on a mission by the church to go and hunt down witches. Believe me it did come off a little too religious at first but as the story progresses there are many plot twists that make the story very interesting.
I must say that the characters in this game are some of the most memorable that I have come across in a game. These are character that will keep you very interested and ones that you wont forget. While there are quite a few characters they each have a unique personality which distinguishes them from each other. The only reason this part did not receive a 10 is because there are one or two characters that can be very annoying.
With the capabilities of the DS I expected a little bit more out of the graphics. I would have to say that they seemed like later GB advance games and earlier DS games. For example they are better than FFTA but not as good as FF3.
Game play: 7
First I would like to say that the game play is very solid within this game. It is not broken but could use some upgrades. The most annoying part of the game play is the stylus controls. With some less than stellar camera angles it makes it hard sometimes to choose the character you want to attack. How ever this can also be solved with a simple button press that lets you use the d-pad to navigate. There is also an online feature that is available within the game that leaves room for some great online battles. The only thing with the wifi is that it requires you to play a bit into the game before you can use it.
When I first started playing this game I had the sound on which I don't usually do and I was shocked to hear real voice acting!! I must say this is a first for me with handheld games and it made the characters much more likable and memorable. The in battles music does tend to get bland after some time but then again I am not one that is always focused on the music.
There is a lot of potential for replay vale and this value is boosted by the use of wifi within the game. There are some side missions and the chance to upgrade your characters for battling.
I would recommend this game for people who like Fire emblem and Final Fantasy Tactics advance, and also for people that like a game to relax with and play say while your watching TV or something like that; but make sure to turn up the sound when the cut scenes come around. This game brings a style of game play that was missing from the series of games on the DS. Pick up this game now because it is fun and also hard to find.
