Is The World Ends With You discontinued?

I've been looking around for this game quite a bit and I haven't found it at any EB games or any other retail store! I've heard rumours that it was discontinued. Is this true?

I've only seen this game used on any internet site. At retail stores, I haven't been able to locate any new copies of The World Ends With You. The only thing I have seen is ONE used copy of the game at EB Games. And it was missng the manual! I've talked to some store reps and they could only tell me that they weren't sure when they were going to get a new shipment. So, I'm still wondering if The Worl Ends With You is indeed discontinued.

Did you try online stores such as Amazon?

Manufacturers only make so many copies of a game. This is a sad fact, especially when the game in question is a masterpiece (not pointing fingers, here). Since this game is about a year and a half old, I'd say production has probably stopped, but there are bound to be new copies floating around somewhere. It's not THAT old yet.

It's probaly just your area, in the area I live there are tons thats how I got mine.

Production would have most likely stoppedd after such a long time since it's release. Your going to have to seach in either second hand stores, online or in lucky stores that haven't sold out. Good luck though, it was very popular.

Get an r4 and downlode it

I only bought the game just under a week ago, and it was new at Game Traders, so it must just be the area you are in... or just EB Games (I don't go there anymore)

I believe that it was a tad short printed because it was a new, more innovative game and the manufacturers didn't know if it would sell or not.

Many games aren't available in shops and I have seen that hit games aren't really sold in supermarkets. They're mostly sold on internet. Try-

I know I had a hard time finding the game locally. A guy at my local GameStop, who is a very honest guy, said that a lot of people have been looking for it and he's had to tell them all that only so many were made because they really didn't think the game was gonna be as popular as it has been, and they were having a hard time getting any shipments in anymore. So I had to resort to ebay. But! I was able to find the game on ebay recently for only $11, free shipping, brand new and still sealed! Game has been working perfectly. :) So for anyone else who may have a hard time finding it, give ebay a chance if possible. You may get lucky.
