Wierd names for the vocations?

  1. For some reason, I keep seeing people, when they're talking about the vocations, say things like "Monk" and "Cleric"

Are these the names for the american version of the game or something, as in Europe, (Or the Uk at least) the vocations are as follows:

    Minstrel
    Warrior
    Thief
    Priest
    Martial Artist
    Mage

And the advanced classes were as follows:

    Luminary
    Armamentalist
    Paladin
    Gladiator
    Ranger
    Sage

    I'm confused...

Accepted Answer

  1. Those are the names in the US version as well. Sometimes people are used to Final Fantasy or other games and will use the terms for those games, for example they'll call Martial Artist by the FF name "Monk" since they're similar.
