Quick Intro
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
Hello there and welcome to this short three part guide. I am Link3895, and I
can be found in a lot of places online, if you see a Link3895, 99.99% chance
that's me. I'll think of something better for my intro in my DDFF walkthrough.
This is a short little guide on three things in Hoshigami, that I'm writing
while taking a break from my Dissidia Duodecim walkthrough. As much as I like
GameFAQs, it can be a little flimsy what's a "cheat" or not, and depends
solely on the person or people that accepts or rejects "cheat" submissions.
These would be there under "Secrets" on the "Cheats" tab since they're very
FAR from what the game says to do, except they got rejected for apparent
spelling/grammar errors and they were "not a cheat". So getting over one
million gold in a single battle (and repeatable in other battles) in this game
isn't a secret, but getting infinite money in Breath of Fire II in VERY small
amounts is, right.
Also, since they're now being submitted here in this small guide, they'll be
expanded upon and more than just one paragraph each.
One final note before moving on, although I did this on the DS version, they
should still be possible on the original Playstation version. Unless they
changed more than the control interface.

1.0 Easy Experience
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
In tactic RPGs, there's always a way to grind easy levels, this game's exp
system makes it even easier. Basically, if you attack someone the same level,
you'll get exp in the 20s, one level above the attacker and it'll be in the
40s, two or more levels above and it will be a straight 50 (rarely 48 or 49).
You don't even need to go to the second floor of the first Tower of Trials to
reach level 99.
The game tells you that you should level on the enemies of each floor of the
Tower, but that's too slow and boring.
I find it best to get a character of each deity in on this, or have two or
three of the Gote deity, so the easy Devotion and end game gears will go by
fast.
Best way to go about this is to go through the first floor a couple times so
you can easily shrug off what the enemies do, at least on four characters to
serve as your front row.
Now for the set-up, it's best to use a weapon that uses up very little of the
RAP gauge, like a knife or ring. You may also want to have a stock of healing
items and/or coins, although coins this early aren't easily used more than
once per battle. On any floor of the Tower, you start between two giant
candles, put your four higher levels in the row with the candles, and your
others in the back row. Most of the time the enemies won't try for the back
row. Characters like Leimrey tend to easily get ahead of the rest of the
group, so he's good to have in either of the middle spots on the front row.
Basically all you'll do is attack your own characters and then use a healing
item if they're low on hp. But when attacking you should try to get as low
in the red as you can, so you can deal very little damage. You probably won't
be doing this all in one trip to the Tower.
I mentioned having a couple Gote characters, two is probably best, and make
sure they keep attacking and Ema character, it'd be best if you have them wait
a little to have the Ema character about 5 or so levels higher. This will be
further explained why in the next section.
That's really all there is to it, just a couple hits and a heal here and there
and your party will easily be hitting the 20s and 30s.

2.0 Easy Devotion and End Game Gears in First Chapter
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
Well, now that you've levelled your characters a lot, hopefully into the 30s
at least, or you might be taking a look about the Ema and Gote characters
during the exp grind. Now the way Devotion is best gained is if you attack
backwards in the order shown in the Options Menu. If you go there, go to Game
Information, then Elemental spirit, and then Religion. You'll see that the
deities are in a circle with arrows going around:
> Gote > Amu >
Ema Zeneth
< Sonova < Kashis <
To get best devotion, you need to attack backwards along those arrows, so:
< Gote < Amu <
Ema Zeneth
> Sonova > Kashis >
But devotion is also gained like exp, if the attacker is a lower level, they
will get far higher devotion than attacking someone the same level. It's been
a while since I played Hoshigami, but it's about five or higher that they'll
get 50 devotion, the closer they get in level, the smaller it'll start to be.
Now the reason it's good to have some Gote characters in that first part of
level grinding, is so you can get this part done on them for the Gote gears.
The "end game gears" this section will talk about are those deity gears that
give such high stats. The Gote morning star and armor specifically give the
highest amount of accuracy. So having at least one of each before this part
can make this easier.
Now then, with a bunch of characters in the 20s or 30s, hopefully one of each
deity, hire up some new ones. Since they'll have bad accuracy at level 1 when
attacking someone 30 levels higher, the Gote gears come in handy here. So as I
explained above about the devotion, have them attack your higher level
characters backwards along the diagram, Amu attack Gote, Gote attack Ema, etc.
If you don't have the Gote gears yet and they have extremely low chance to
hit, attack with coins, or attack with another higher level character and then
heal with the low level one.
When these new characters reach level 16 or 17, they should reach max devotion
level of 16, at which point you'll be able to get the deity gears for that
deity. You can get those deity gears before going to the Tower of Winds.

3.0 Easy Gold in the Millions (not that you'd need that much)
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
With all that grinding, you've probably made a hefty amount of gold already,
and if you use attack sessions, you can also get quite a bit of money. But
there's a way to get easy money in the millions in specific battles.
For this, it's best to have someone about level 50 or higher, that goes before
Fazz and can move FAR. Elena is a perfect example, at high levels she can
nearly move across entire stages and still be able to attack at least once.
It's also good to have this character equipped with some high attack stat
deity gears, so you can get the battles done in one move and one hit.
You'll come across story battles where the objective is to take out the leader
of the enemy forces. Depending on the stages, it can be easily done, or a bit
hard. For these battles, all you need to do is send in Fazz and your speedy,
far moving, power house.
My first example is Savah Canal, you start fairly close to the enemy leader,
all you have to do is put the character as close to the leader as you can.
When the battle starts, move the character over and take out the leader in a
single hit, your reward will be more money than you'll know what to do with.
There's another battle shortly after that is set up to give you two choices on
how to get to the leader. This is the Mount Tesina battle with Jacqueline high
up above everyone else, you can go around the long way, or do the same thing
as the Savah Canal battle. You'll need to get right up next to her since
other weapons won't reach. I did this with Elena and she was able to get right
up next to Jacqueline and attack with a knife, in the first turn of the fight.
Again, the reward will be far more money than you'll know what to do with.
Now, that doesn't mean these two are the only battles you can do it in, there
are plenty others too. But that doesn't mean that every battle where the
objective is the enemy leader is one you can do it in. There are two other
battles with Jacqueline with a giant lake between you and her, I didn't try
on this stage in these two battles. But I'd recommend level 99 Elena with a
boomerang or bow if you want to try.
Well that's about it. Level 99 and the god gears in the first chapter, and gold
in the millions on specific story battles with objectives being the enemy
leader. Considering how unorthodox these methods are (when the game says to
level on enemies for exp and attack session for money), I'd say they're pretty
good secrets, most specifically that gold one.
As descriptive as I can be, that was still pretty short.
