01. Introduction ................................. [INT]

   Hey, and welcome to my first FAQ. This document is here to help players 
complete the 15 downloadable puzzles in YGO: WC 08. These puzzles are not
recommended for the casual player due to their complexity, but can reward 
you with close to 10000 DP, so they're definitely worth it.
   NOTE - I am assuming that you already know the basics of the game. If you
don't, then check the tutorial section of the game.
   NOTE2 - The first time I mention a card, I will use the full name in
quotes. Afterwards, I will use shorthand that is hopefully easy to
understand. If I need to, I will put up a key.

04. Puzzle Solutions
--------------------

   A. Puzzle #01 ................................. [P01]

   OK, we start with a somewhat easy one. This seems to be a fairy puzzle, and
looking over the cards, works on life gain. So, here we go.

- Start off by putting that "Lamb Token" in attack position. Don't worry, we'll
use him later.

- After, Special Summon "Soul of Purity and Light" by removing from play a "The
Agent of Force - Mars" and "The Agent of Judgment - Saturn". This will cause
"Soul Absorption" to activate, netting you 1000 LP.

- Activate the facedown "Miraculous Descent" card to Special Summon "The Agent
of Force - Mars" Hold the A button while it's being summoned, so you can 
activate "Inferno Reckless Summon" to Special Summon the other two. Your 
opponent will Special Summon a "Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger" in Defense position.

- Sacrifice "Soul of Purity and Light" so you can summon "Airknight Parshath".
Enter your Battle Phase.

- Remember that "Lamb Token"? Use it and attack the Blue-Eyes. You should get a
prompt asking if you want to activate a card. Say yes, and activate "Inferno
Tempest". Eight cards will be removed from the game, giving you a cool 4000 LP
thanks to Soul Absorption.

- Activate your last facedown, "Celestial Transformation", to Special Summon 
"Neo- Parshath, the Sky Paladin".

- Take out a Tiger with Airknight. Don't worry about its effect. Take your 
Sky-Paladin and demolish the other Tiger. Again, don't worry about the effect.

- Use one of the Mars cards and kill the dragon. After that, attack with the 
other two for success.

   B. Puzzle #02 ................................. [P02]

   As a personal friend would say: "This game's learning curve is like driving
into a brick wall..." and this Volcanic puzzle shows it. Obviously, you're 
going to want to burn your opponent for a victory, so let's get it on.

- First thing to do - Activate "Volcanic Slicer", you won't need your Battle 
Phase anyway. Afterwards, activate "Volcanic Shell" from the Graveyard. You'll
loose 500 LP, and get a V. Shell from your deck to your hand.

- Activate "Graceful Charity", discarding two "Volcanic Scattershot" cards. 
They'll activate, dealing 1000 damage to your opponent. After, play "Back to 
Square One", discarding "Sparks" to bounce "Volcanic Doomfire" to the top of 
your deck.

- Activate the facedown "Jar of Greed", putting the V. Doomfire back into your 
hand. Afterwards, use "Tri-Blaze Accelerator" to destroy a "Marshmallon" by 
discarding V. Doomfire. (No love for V. Doomfire, eh?) This will deal 500 
damage. Activate Accelerator again, this time discarding the V. Shell, to take 
out the other "Marshmallon" and deal another 500 damage to your opponent.

- Use "Volcanic Recharge" to shove 2 V. Scattershots and a V. Shell back into 
your deck. Activate Accelerator again, discarding your last V. Scattershot to 
destroy a "Dandylion". Also, activate V. Scattershot's effect.

- After the Five-Hour long chain is done, activate V. Shell's effect from the 
graveyard. Use the V. Shell to activate Accelerator and take out a token. See 
the neglected "Volcanic Hammerer"? Activate his effect now.

- Use the other V. Recharge to send 2 V. Shells and the V. Doomfire back to 
your deck. Use V. Shell's effect from the graveyard, and then activate 
Accelerator to get rid of another token.

- Use that V. Shell's effect to grab the last one from your deck, then (you 
guessed it) take out another token with Accelerator. Finish it off by 
activating "Soul of Fire" using V. Doomfire for the win.

   C. Puzzle #03 ................................. [P03]

   This puzzle revolves around the Destiny Hero series of cards. Your job here
is to push through the four 3000 Def. creatures.

- See that "Lava Golem"? Sacrifice both "Millennium Shield" cards your opponent
controls to Special Summon the Golem to your opponent's side of the field. 
Afterwards, discard "Destiny Hero - Malicious" to activate "Raigeki Break", so
you can take out a "Labyrinth Wall"

- Activate "Over Destiny" and target D.H. Malicious so you can Special Summon 
"Destiny Hero - Disc Commander". Special Summon D.H. Malicious from the 
graveyard by using "Shallow Grave".

- Special Summon "Destiny Hero - Plasma" by sacrificing your three creatures. 
After, use "Premature Burial" to Special Summon D.H. Disc Commander. This 
allows you to draw two cards: Another D.H. Malicious and "Destiny Hero - Dogma"

- Activate Plasma's effect, targeting your own Golem (that your opponent has, 
of course), then use "Giant Trunade" to send the Golem, Premature Burial, and 
"Salamandra" back to your hand.

- Special Summon the Golem again, taking care of the last two creatures your 
opponent controls. Then activate both the "Book of the Moon" and the "Book of 
Taiyou" on D.H. Plasma (In that order).

- Activate D.H. Plasma's effect (again), choosing the Golem (again). After, 
activate "Feather of a Phoenix" by discarding D.H. Malicious and choose a D.H.
Malicious to put on top of the deck.

- Activate D.H. Malicious's effect from the graveyard to Special Summon the
other D.H. Malicious. Tribute all three creatures to Special Summon D.H. Dogma.

- Activate Premature Burial to bring back the Golem, equip it with Salamandra,
and attack with both creatures for the win.

   D. Puzzle #04 ................................. [P04]

   Alright, this one's a little different. Looking at the field, you'll notice
that there are a bunch of equip cards on the field, along with that nifty trap
that negates equip cards. The programmers want you to activate the trap early,
but you'll lose easily, so do this instead...

- First off, activate "Cost Down" by discarding "Horn of Light", then equip the
"Horn of the Unicorn" to your "Celtic Guardian". Afterwards, activate "The
Emperor's Holiday" and enter your battle phase.

- Attack "Kumori Dragon" with the Guardian, then attack "Hiro's Shadow Scout"
with your "Mystical Elf". Next, attack the dragon again, this time with
"Kanan the Swordmistress". When "Necklace of Command" activates, choose to draw
a card.

- Use "Mystic Wok" on your Mystical Elf, choosing her Defense. Thanks to your
newly gained LP, you can now attack the dragon with your "Dark Elf".

- Activate "Malice Dispersion" by discarding "Ojama Yellow" to destroy the
Emperor trap. To end it, destroy the "Des Koala" with "Mataza the Zapper",
then use its second attack to end the puzzle.

   E. Puzzle #05 ................................. [P05]

   This puzzle revolves around the V through Z series of monster and fusion
cards. The goal is to snatch your opponent's "V-Tiger Jet" to fuse for the win.

- Start out by summoning "Y-Dragon Head", then sacrificing it for "Mystic Wok",
choosing its defense. Bring it back and equip it to "X-Head Cannon" with
"Roll Out!".

- Remove all three monsters from the game to fusion summon "XYZ-Dragon Cannon",
and use its effect to destroy V-Jet by discarding "W-Wing Catapult" Then
activate "Dimension Fusion" to special summon all of your creatures removed
from the game.

- Activate "Symbols of Duty" to send X-Cannon to the graveyard to special
summon your opponent's V-Jet to your side of the field. Activate your second
Roll Out to bring your W-Catapult back to the field.

- Now, use XYZ's effect again, discarding "Frontline Base" to destroy your 
opponent's "Sakuretsu Armor", then activate "Two-Pronged Attack" by destroying
your Y-Dragon and Z-Tank to take out the "Spirit Reaper".

- Fusion summon "VW-Tiger Catapult" by removing V-Jet and W-Catapult from the
game. Then remove VW and XYZ from the game to bring out "VWXYZ Dragon Catapult
Canon" Use its effect to take care of the "Marshmallon" before attacking for
the win.

   F. Puzzle #06 ................................. [P06]

   Now, the problem with this one are the three "Gravitic Orb" cards and the
"Curse of Darkness" Trap card. The idea is to power up one of the 
Grasschopper" cards to destroy everything for the win. Here we go.

- First off, put your "Mataza the Zapper" in defense mode. After that, you see
that "Grasschopper" on the field? Well, summon it again, so it can attack all
of your opponent's monsters during your battle phase.

- Next up, play "Tribute to the Doomed" to destroy the "Pinch Hopper" by
discarding "Nobleman of Crossout". The Hopper will activate, so special summon
the other Grasschopper from your hand.

- Activate "Big Bang Shot" and equip it to the Grasschopper that can attack all
monsters. Enter your battle phase, and attack with the powered-up Grasschopper.
HOLD DOWN A WHILE THE ORB IS FLIPPING FACE UP!! The game will ask you if you
want to activate a card. Say yes, and play "Rush Recklessly", targeting the
attacking Grasschopper.

- Now, after battle, the Orb will activate, leaving your Zapper in attack mode.
Attack another Orb with him, and that Orb's effect will hit off, switching
battle positions again.

- Go back to the powered-up Grasschopper, and attack with him again. Battle
positions will change again, allowing you to attack directly with Zapper. After
activate "Ojama Trio" to special summon 3 tokens to your opponent's side of
the field.

- Activate "Zero Gravity" and destroy all tokens with the Grasschopper that can
attack them all. Finish your opponent off with the last Grasschopper.

   G. Puzzle #07 ................................. [P07]

   In my personal opinion, this is a puzzle that comes from many people whining
about how hard the puzzles are, because this Dragon themed trial was by far the
easiest of the downloads...but enough about that ^_^

- Start off with "Future Fusion", targeting "F.G.D" and sending to the
graveyard the five respective dragons. Next, summon "Card Trooper" and use his
effect to send the last three cards from your deck to the graveyard.

- Now you can activate "Cyberdark Impact!" to special summon "Cyberdark Dragon".
Select "Felgrand Dragon" for its effect. Enter your battle phase.

- Have Cyberdark Dragon take out the Blue-Eyes first. Now, activate the
"Mystical Space Typhoon" from your hand and take out Felgrand. Due to
Felgrand's effect, he can't be special summoned unless he was sent from the
field to the graveyard, and that's what we did. ^_^

- Use "Call of the Haunted" to, you guessed it, bring Felgrand back. Target
"Armed Dragon Lv. 10" for his effect, and take out the Ultimate Dragon. Finish
your opponent with the Card Trooper.

   H. Puzzle #08 ................................. [P08]

   Ah, A Harpy Ladies theme with...THREE DREADROOTS!? Wow...let's give this a
whirl...

- Start off with "Hysteric Party", discarding "Harpy Lady #1" to special
summon "Harpy Lady" And Harpy #1. "Harpies' Hunting Ground" will trigger, so
destroy one of those pesky "Chain Energy" cards.

- Next up, summon "Harpy Lady #2". Hunting Ground will activate again, so
destroy "Level Limit - Area B" this time. Activate "Icarus Attack" and
sacrifice the non-effect Harpy Lady so you can take out two "The Wicked
Dreadroot" cards.

- Play "Monster Reborn" to bring back a "Sacred Crane" to the field, letting
you draw a card. Play the card you just got, "Elegant Egotist", to special
summon "Harpy Lady Sisters". Hunting Ground will activate again, so destroy
the other Chain Energy.

- Now, activate "Triangle Ecstasy Spark" to boost your Harpies and nullify the
"Gravity Bind" your opponent has face down. Also, play "Magical Stone
Excavation" to grab the "Cyber Shield" card by discarding the two cards in your
hand. You're going to want to equip the Shield to the Harpy Sisters card and
enter your battle phase.

- Almost done...attack the "Big Shield Gardna" with the Crane. It'll flip to
attack mode, so take it out with the Sisters. Now, here's a cool way to win.
Activate "Ojama Trio" to bring out the three tokens, then activate "Remove
Brainwashing". What happens is that one token comes back, but the other two
have no place to go, so they are destroyed. And when they are destroyed, they
deal the damage you need to win.

   I. Puzzle #09 ................................. [P09]

   This is one of the weirder puzzles...what you have to do is deal enough
damage to YOURSELF so "Megamorph" can power up the monster you need to win.

- First, flip over the "Magician of Faith" to return "Twister" from the
graveyard to your hand. Use it on the "Soul Absorption" so you don't have to
worry about life gain.

- Now, tribute the "X-Head Cannon" to summon "Raiza the Storm Monarch" which
will let you put your opponent's "Spirit Reaper" back on top of their deck.
After that, play "Premature Burial" to special summon "Injection Fairy Lily"
She is your star creature in this challenge.

- Equip Raiza with "Megamorph", which will cut his attack in two...but we'll
change that. Discard "Mystical Space Typhoon" to equip Fairy Lily with "Twin
Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce" and enter your battle phase.

- Have the Magician of Faith attack "Silent Magician Lv. 8". Then, have the
Fairy Lily attack the "Marshmallon", making sure to pay the 2000 LP to boost
her attack. Thanks to the Twin Swords, she can attack again, so have her attack
the Silent Magician, but this time, DON'T pay LP.

- If you did it right, Raiza should be powered up so you can take out the
Silent Magician, and win the challenge.

   J. Puzzle #10 ................................. [P10]

   A Crystal Beast Challenge mixed in with Water monsters...cool.

- Start by flipping your "Hane-Hane" face up, and bounce him to your hand. Then
activate "Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins" twice - the first time to draw a card,
the second time to special summon "Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus". Choose to
activate its effect to put "Crystal Beast Emerald Tortoise" on the now empty
Spell/Trap Zone.

- Flip "Dekoichi the Battlechanted Locomotive" to draw a card, then summon the
"Abyss Soldier". Activate his effect by discarding "Giga Gagagigo" to return
the Ancient City back to your hand. 

- Play the Ancient City card again, and activate both effects again - Draw a
card, and special summon "Crystal Beast Amber Mammoth". Now, activate "H -
Heated Heart", targeting Sapphire Pegasus.

- Next, play "Lightning Vortex" by discarding the Hane-Hane, then play "Tribute
to the Doomed" and discard "Pigeonholing Books of Spell" to take out the "Old
Vindictive Magician"

- Activate "A Legendary Ocean", then play "Premature Burial", bringing back
Giga Gagagigo to the field. Enter your battle phase, and attack with everything
to clear the puzzle.

   K. Puzzle #11 ................................. [P11]

   O.K...your opponent for this one is using a Destiny Hero deck, vs. your
Warrior deck...let's see if we can win this one, Kay?

- Start by equipping "Smoke Grenade of the Thief" to "Gearfried the 
Swordmaster". Swordmaster's effect will activate, allowing you to destroy one
of the three "Destiny Hero - Dogma" cards. Equip "Flint" to "Destiny Hero -
Doom Lord"

- Now, sacrifice "Gearfried the Iron Knight" and "Armed Samurai - Ben Kei" to
summon "Gilford the Legend". Activate his effect and do the following:

Equip "Black Pendant" to "Gearfried the Swordmaster"
Equip "Amulet of Ambition" to "Elemental Hero Sparkman"
Equip "Demotion" to "Elemental Hero Sparkman"

- Swordmaster's effect will activate again, allowing you to destroy another
Dogma. Enter your battle phase.

- Have Swordmaster destroy the Doom Lord. Flint will activate, so equip it to
the Swordmaster, causing his effect to activate again, letting you destroy the
last Dogma.

- Attack "Destiny Hero - Dreadmaster" with Sparkman. Attack twice with
"Mataza the Zapper" and once with Gilford for the game.

   L. Puzzle #12 ................................. [P12]

   Ah...Fiends, how I love you so....ahem, anyway this is a Fiend vs. Fiend
challenge, so let's go.

- Start with "Raigeki Break" and discard "Evil Hero Malicious Edge" to destroy
one of the "Old Vindictive Magician" cards. Then use "Mind Control" to take
another Old Magician.

- Flip the Old Magician up, to destroy your opponent's last magician. Now
activate "Secret Barrel". Your opponent will activate "Gorz the Emissary of
Darkness" and special summon him. No worries, though.

- Use "The Forceful Sentry" to get rid of the pesky "Kuriboh" in your 
opponent's hand, then activate "Double Summon". Flip the "Magician of Faith"
face up to retrieve the Mind Control from the graveyard, and use it to take
Gorz.

- Sacrifice the Magician of Faith to summon "Doom Shaman". Activate "Ookazi",
then discard "Big Bang Shot" to play "Double Spell". Copy "Gift of the Martyr"
and send Gorz to the graveyard to boost the Shaman.

- Summon the Shaman again (thanks to Double Summon) and use his effect to get
Gorz out again. Enter your battle phase and attack with both for the game.

   M. Puzzle #13 ................................. [P13]

   Magicians...huh...your job here is to weaken the "Dark Magician Girl" cards
so you can destroy them to win. Since so much is going on, I'll break this down
step-by-step...

- Activate "Dark Factory of Mass Production" to return two "Dark Magician"
cards to your hand.
- Activate "The Transmigration Prophecy" to return two of your "Magician of
Black Chaos" cards to your deck.
- Activate "Herald of Creation" by discarding "Premature Burial" to bring the
last Magician of Chaos to your hand.
- Play "Polymerization" to fuse "Buster Blader" and Dark Magician together to
summon "Dark Paladin".
- Equip "Sword of the Deep-Seated" to the Dark Paladin.
- Bring out the final Dark Magician from your graveyard using the effect of
"Skilled Dark Magician".
- Play "Black Magic Ritual" and sacrifice the Herald of Creation and the Dark
Magician from the field to ritual summon the Magician of Black Chaos.
- Activate "Shien's Spy". giving control of your Magician of Black Chaos to
your opponent.
- Play "Book of Moon", flipping your opponent's "Banisher of Light" facedown.
- Discard a Dark Magician to activate "Karma Cut", removing from play your
opponent's Magician of Black Chaos from their field and graveyard.
- Activate "Monster Reborn", targeting your opponent's Dark Magician.
- Activate "The Shallow Grave", selecting your Dark Magician.
- Activate "The Spell Absorbing Light" to gain 2000 LP.
- Activate "Dedication through Light and Darkness", sacrificing a Dark Magician
to summon "Dark Magician of Chaos"
- Use its effect to take the Monster Reborn card from your graveyard, and add
it to your hand.
- Play Monster Reborn, special summoning your opponent's last Dark Magician.
- Enter your battle phase.
- Attack Dark Magician Girl with Dark Paladin, winning you the challenge.

   N. Puzzle #14 ................................. [P14]

   Alright, the idea is to summon all of the Disc Commanders for draw power,
then powering up Mataza for the victory.

- Start off by activating the "Book of Taiyou", flipping your opponent's
"Obnoxious Celtic Guard" face up.

- Activate "Premature Burial", targeting "Destiny Hero - Disc Commander". Hold
A while it is being summoned to receive a prompt asking if you want to
activate a card. Say yes, and activate "Inferno Reckless Summon".

- After drawing your six cards, activate "Skull Zoma", then activate 
Attack Orders". 

- Activate "Shrink", targeting one of the Celtic Guards. HOLD A WHILE
ACTIVATING TO START A CHAIN! Chain Shrink to "Emergency Provisions", sending
Shrink, Premature Burial, and Final Attack Orders to the graveyard to gain
3000 LP. Summon "Mataza the Zapper".

- Now, you have five spells left...here's what you do with them

Activate "Mystic Plasma Zone"
Activate "The A. Forces"
Equip "United we Stand" to Mataza
Equip "Mage Power" to Mataza
Set "Final Flame" face down on the field.

- Enter your battle phase. Attack the Celtic Guard that has been shrunk twice
with Mataza. Attack the facedown "Masked Dragon" with one of your Disk
Commanders. Attack the "Dragon Master Knight" with your Skull Zoma. Attack the
shrunken Celtic Guard with another Disc Commander, and have the last Disc
Commander attack a regular Celtic Guard.

- Enter main phase 2 and activate Final Flame for the victory.

   O. Puzzle #15 ................................. [P15]

   O.K....This is the last puzzle of the series, and it involves a lot of Dark
creatures..the goal here is to use the Panther's abilities to your advantage
Ready?

- Start of by activating "Soul Absorption". You'll need the LP, believe me.

- Activate "Phantom of Chaos" and remove "King of the Skull Servants" from the
game. You will gain 500 LP thanks to Soul Absorption.

- Now play "Creature Swap", swapping your Phantom for your opponent's
Marshmallon. 

- Special Summon a King of Skull Servants using "Call of the Haunted" and hold
A while it is being summoned to chain "Inferno Reckless Summon".

- Summon the Phantom from your hand, and activate its effect, copying a
"Neo-Spacian Dark Panther".

- Activate your Dark Panther, copying your opponent's Phantom.

- Activate your Phantom, copying a Dark Panther.

- Activate your Dark Panther, copying your opponent's Phantom.

- Activate your Phantom, copying the last Dark Panther.

- Activate your Dark Panther, copying your opponent's Phantom.

- Activate your Phantom, copying "Demise, King of Armageddon.

- Activate Demise's effect, paying 2000 LP to destroy the field except for
Demise.

- Play "Dimension Fusion" to special summon all of your removed from play
monsters.

- Activate "Shien's Spy", giving control of your King of Skull Servants to
your opponent.

- Activate the effects of all of your Dark Panthers, targeting the King of
Skull Servants.

- Enter your battle phase.

- Attack the King of Skull Servants with Demise. Do not activate its effect.

- Attack with everything else for a victory.
