What is with the disc that comes with the game in the package?

When i opened my package it had a gc lookign disc however when i tried runnign it in my gamecube or wii nothing happened

what is said disc for?

Answer

The disc is a promotional item for various Ignition software games. When inserted into a PC it will launch a page that has trailers for Metal Slug 7, Lux Pain, and Blue Dragon Plus. It also contains a few wallpapers you can donwload.
