VILLAIN HUNT GUIDE

Villain Hunt is a minigame in LEGO BATMAN for the NINTENDO DS. To unlock
Villain Hunt, you need to beat all the Villain chapters with True Villain
Status. In Villain Hunt, the object is to find a villain in a level before
time runs out. What follows is a guide to find the villain in each level. This
guide walks you through the route to take to reach the villain in time. In
this guide, east means to the right, west means to the left, north means away
from you, and south means towards you. This guide assumes that you have all
other characters unlocked. If you don't, you may have different characters
than than listed in your party. Once you beat the level, you can purchase
the character in the character purchase screen.

Stage 1: Killer Moth
Head east and then north and build a pull switch. Pull on it. When the door
opens, hit the block and build the grapple spot. Grapple up, and then head east
and then south. Build the chute, then switch to Robin and enter the chute.
Switch to Alfred and float to the east. Head south and build a chute, then
switch to Robin and enter the chute. Switch to the SWAT and bomb the red
padlock. Head through the open door to the second area. Grab the first blue
block and put it into the blue block machine. Head to the north and hit the red
floor switch to bring out a second blue block. Take that blue block over to the
blue block machine. Get the last blue block (located south of the second one)
and put it in the blue block machine. Assemble the grapple point, switch to
Batman, and grapple up. Go to the north and assemble the highwire line. Switch
to Robin and cross the highwire. Head to the south and then east, switch to the
SWAT man, and bomb the red padlock. Head east and then south off the ledge.
Bomb the red and black box, then assemble the two targets. Switch to Batman and
hit the targets with the Batarang. Assemble the magnetic ramp, then head east
and assemble the Robin Suit button. Switch to Robin, get the magnetic suit, and
climb up the magnetic ramp. Push the block off the edge, assemble the pull
switch, and pull the pull switch (this is necessary because the computer isn't
smart enough to switch to Robin and follow you up). Head east and assemble the
grapple spot. Switch to Batman and grapple up. Step on one of the red floor
switches (your partner will step on the other) and continue to the next area.
Head to the south until you get to the front of the bank, then head east past
the bank.  Head back north, travel up the grapple spot, and you'll see Killer
Moth.

Stage 2: Man Bat
Head to the east, switch to Azrael, then pull the heavy pad out. Switch to
Batman and double jump up to the ledge. Head north and assemble both floor
switches. Step on one (your partner will step on the other). Head south to the
ground and assemble the pull switch. Pull the switch and continue to the next
area. Switch to Alfred and jump and float over the gap to the east. Switch to
Azrael to get through the frozen gas. Assemble the ladder and climb up to the
next level. Head back west, switch to Alfred, and once again jump over the gap.
Switch to Azrael and head through the frozen gas. Step on the floor switch
(your partner will step on the other). Head to the next panel. Step into the
door to the next area. Head east and assemble the two floor switches. Step on
one (your partner will step on the other) and continue to the next area. Head
to the west and you'll see Man Bat.

Stage 3: Dr. Hugo Strange
Head east (head slightly south to find steps to continue going east) and
assemble the grapple pad. Grapple over to the east, and keep heading east.
Double jump onto a raised area,  Assemble the chute, switch to Robin, and then
enter the chute. Switch to Azrael and then head west. Kill both Riddler goons
that show up. Double jump over the gap, switch to Robin and jump up at the jump
spot. Keep heading east, climb up the ladder, assemble the second pull switch.
Pull one (your partner will pull the other), and enter the next area. Switch to
Batman, step on the grapple point to pull down the block, then assemble the
chute. Switch to Robin and enter the chute. Head west and enter another chute.
Step on the floor switch to open the door for your partner. Step on the big
push panel (your partner will step as well). When the door opens, step on it to
go through to the next area. Head to the north and go into the chute. Switch to
Alfred and float to the east. Step on a floor switch (your partner will step on
the other), then continue to the next room when the door opens. Head east and
slightly south and destroy some boxes. Step on one floor switch (your partner
will step on another), then assemble the chute when the parts appear. Switch to
Robin and enter the chute. Switch to Alfred, float over to the east, and
assemble the Robin Suit button. Switch to Robin, get the magnetic suit, then
head back to the last chute you entered. Climb up the magnetic ramp. Switch to
Alfred and float over two seperate gaps. Step on the heavy panel (your partner
will step on it as well). Assemble the ladder to climb up to the next area.
Head west, float over the gap, and switch to Azrael. Use him to pull on the weak
wall, and you'll find Dr. Hugo Strange right inside that room.

Stage 4: Mr. Zsasz
Head north, east, and then north. Break a crate that reveals a grapple point,
then grapple up. Head north and assemble a highwire. Switch to Robin and head
over the wire. Head south and then east so that you can get down past the
chain fence. Break a block to reveal a grapple point. Switch to Batman and
pull down a bridge. Keep heading east until you see a red padlock. Use the
SWAT guy to break it with a bomb. Head to the next area. Keep heading east
until the door to your west opens up. Backtrack to it. Switch to the SWAT
guy and break the red padlock. Break crates and then assemble the parts to
assemble a Robin suit button. Switch to Robin and get the magnet suit. Head
south, slightly east, and then back north and climb up the magnetic ramp. Head
east and then south. Break some chests and assemble the pull switch. Head
south and assemble the parts to make a grapple spot. Switch to Batman and
grapple up. Head east and pull a pull switch (your partner will pull the
other). Go west, south, and then head east until you find the parts. Assemble
them to make a ladder. Head west and double jump to the train car. Head north
and assemble a pull switch. Pull it, assemble the parts that appear, then
switch to Robin and jump on the jump spot. Head west and Mr. Zsasz will be
visible.

Stage 5: Black Mask
Head south, and assemble the parts to reveal a Robin suit button. Switch to
Robin and get the magnetic suit. Assemble the two floor switches and step on
one (your partner will step on the other). Climb up the magnetic ramp.
Assemble the blocks to make a large block, then push it north into the hole.
Head back south and assemble the grapple pad. Switch to Batman and grapple to
the east. Switch to Robin and jump up at the jump pad. Switch to SWAT man and
break the two red and black boxes with a bomb. Assemble the two floor
switches. Step on one (your partner will step on the other), then head to the
south, assemble the block, and push it into the hole. Assemble the chute, then
switch to Robin and enter it. Switch to Batman, then head south and pull the
bridge over using the grapple pad. Break a red and black box with a SWAT bomb,
then assemble the grapple pad. Switch to Batman and grapple up. Hit the floor
switch, and then switch to Robin and jump up at the jump spot, then assemble
the parts that get knocked down. Assemble the floor switch and step on it.
Switch back to Batman and grapple back up. Assemble the floor switch and step
on it to reveal two pull switches. Pull one (your partner will pull the
other). then climb up the ladder. Head east and break the red and black legos
with a bomb from the SWAT guy. Head through to the next area. Switch to
Batman, grapple up at the grapple point, then step on the floor switch. Head
east, break the ice cream, the jump to the east. Head south, then climb up the
ladder. Use the key to get another ladder. Climb up, head east, then head
south. Hit all the red panels on the floor. Assemble the pieces to stop the
air. Hit the Batman panel to open the north door. Break the red and black with
the SWAT man. Hit a floor panel to open up a hole to the south. Enter the
hole, then head west and break another red and black spot with the SWAT
man. Head south and you'll find Black Mask.

Stage 6: Firefly
Switch to Azrael and head east. Take the blue block to the north to the blue
block machine. Assemble a pull switch and pull on it to reveal a second blue
block. Take it to the blue block machine. Assemble some blocks to the wall so
that you can pull on it. Switch to Robin and enter the chute. Get the 3rd blue
block and put it in the machine. Assemble the pieces and push the blocks into
the machine. Switch back to Azrael and head east and pull the other pull
switch. Enter the door and head to the next area. Pull the weak wall, then
assemble the parts into a ladder. Head west and pull on the pull switch. Jump
up the panels and then pull the pull switch to the east. Assemble the chute,
then switch to Robin and enter the chute. Switch to Azrael, pull the weak
wall, then assemble the ladder. Climb up and assemble the pull switch. Pull
it and then climb the ladder to the next area. Head to the north east corner
and break a block. Assemble the parts to reveal a chute. Switch to Robin, head
through the chute, then assemble some more parts to create a highwire. Climb
over the highwire to reveal Firefly.

Stage 7: Ventrlioquist and Scarface
Put the three blue blocks into the blue block machine. The first is visible to
the north, the second is inside a block near the car to the east, and for the
third you have to assemble a grapple point and grapple up and then break
another block. Then assemble the pieces that come out of the block machine to
make a chute. Switch to Robin and enter the chute. Assemble the pieces to the
right pengiun. Jump on it, and then switch to Alfred to float over to the left
side. Assemble the pieces to assemble the left penguin. Head through the gate.
Head south and east and pull the pull switch. Assemble the parts to create a
grapple point. Grapple up and step on a floor switch (your partner will step
on the other one). Head east and assemble a hatch. Switch to Robin and enter
the hatch. Assemble the pull switch and pull it to turn off the water. Head
east for a while and enter another hatch. Step on a floor switch (your partner
will step on another) then enter the door to another area. In this area you
need to turn on the four freeze machines. The first is to the north. Assemble
the pull switch and then pull it. Switch to Alfred and then head south and
then east and float over the gap. Then head north and assemble the second pull
switch and pull it. Then head south and assemble the parts for a hatch. Switch
to Robin and enter the hatch. Switch to Batman and grapple on the grapple
point. Head north and assemble the third pull switch and pull on it. Switch to
Alfred and float back over the middle. Then break the two chests to reveal the
parts to assemble the final switch. Pull on it and the floor will freeze and
the door to the north will open, revealing the Ventriloquist and Scarface.

Stage 8: Ra's Al Ghul
Head east and blow up a red padlock. Blow up a red chest inside there.
Assemble the parts and step on the floor block. Head south and then west and
do the same thing on the other side. Enter the doors in the middle to enter
the next area. Head north, switch to Azrael and then head east through all the
gas. Switch to Robin and get the magnetic suit. Switch to SWAT man and break
the red and black chest in the back. Assemble the grapple point and switch to
Batman and grapple up. Pull the switch (your partner will pull the other),
then head south and west. Head south some more, and then west some more to go
up the ramp. Switch to Robin and climb up the magnetic ramp and then over the
highwire. Pull the pull switch, then break the red and black box with the SWAT
man to reveal another pull switch. Pull that and then head south. Head east
and then north, and assemble the two floor switches. Step on one (your partner
will step on the other) and head through the door to the next area. Climb up
and then head all the way east. Use the Batman panel. Assemble the jump panel,
then switch to Robin and jump up. You'll find Ra's Al Ghul up at the top.

Stage 9: Hush
Head to the north and slightly east and break a box. Assemble it to reveal a
grapple spot. Grapple up, switch to Robin and then enter the chute to the
right. Hit the floor switch, then head west and pull on a pull switch (your
partner will pull on the other). Go south to the ground and then back north
to enter the next area. Head to the north and break the black thing in the
open area. Assemble the parts to create a Robin suit panel. Enter it to get
the Robin magnetic suit. Climb up the magnetic ramp. Switch to Alfred and then
float over a couple jumps. Step on the floor switch, then head back west and
pull on a pull switch (your partner will pull on another). Head south, west,
and then north and jump onto a floor panel on the boat (your partner will jump
on the other). Head south then east, break a brick and assemble it to make a
hatch. Switch to Robin and go through the hatch. Keep heading east and
slightly south and pull on the pull switch. Assemble the grapple point and
switch to Batman and grapple up. Switch to Alfred and float to the north.
Switch to Robin and enter the hatch there. Pull the pull switch nearby. Head
to the ground, switch to Batman and grapple up and you'll find Hush.

Stage 10: The Joker (Tropical)
Head west and access the Batman panel. Assemble the grapple switch and grapple
up. Switch to Robin and jump on the jump switch. Switch to Batman and hit the
targets with the Batarang. Assemble the parts to make a grapple switch.
Grapple up. Go north, switch to Alfred and then float east. Knock the block
off the edge, then head down and assemble the parts to reveal a magnetic ramp.
Head west and break a block. Assemble it to reveal a Robin suit panel. Switch
to Robin and get the magnetic suit. Push the block into the wall to open the
door. Head into the next room. Head east and kill all the enemies to reveal
some parts. Assemble them to reveal a pull switch. Pull it to turn off the
bomb. Head east through the open door. Kill the two guards, and then assemble
the parts. Push the wall panel to open the door to the next area. Head east,
switch to the SWAT man and break the red and black thing with a bomb. Assemble
the parts to the north and jump on the floor lever. Switch to Batman and hit
the two targets with the Batarang. Assemble the grapple switch and grapple up.
Hit the target with the Batarang and step on the floor switch. Head west.
Assemble another grapple point, grapple up and hit another target with the
Batarang. Assemble the pieces to reveal a pull switch. Pull it and head east
and assemble another pull switch by the bomb. Pull it, then step on a floor
block (your partner will step on another). When the door opens, head over to
the next area. Head south until the Joker guys come down. Kill them both,
then assemble the pieces for a pull switch. PUll it to disable that bomb. Head
up the stairs. Assemble a grapple point, grapple up it, move over, and then
grapple over to the other side. Break a brick, then assemble a jump point.
Switch to Robin and jump up. Switch to Batman and grapple over at the grapple
point. Grapple again at the point on the other side. Head east and hit the
block. Assemble the pieces to reveal another grapple point. Grapple over, then
switch to Azrael and pull on the weak wall to reveal The Joker (Tropical).
