Why can't i get puzzle #139 (spoilers)?

Before entering the pagoda, I've talked to Chemley all the way back to flatstone. But when i talked to him, he gave me the #106 Puzzle (Finger Print Puzzle) instead of #139. When I finished in the Pagoda right after the start of a new chapter, Puzzle #139 is already sent to Puzzlette. Please i need help in finding puzzle #139.

If you follow where the game tells you to go, you'll miss finding some puzzles in their original location as seen here

In this case, the puzzle is only available from Chelmey during Chapter 8 and you'll see that the walkthrough takes a detour to get the puzzle before going where the game suggests

As the game explains (both from Beasly and Puzzlette), any missed puzzles end up in their puzzle lists and you can pick up the puzzle from the shack beside Puzzlette

You don't have to know why you got a puzzle. It happened to me and I got both puzzles. But at least u have the puzzle. Do you have Professor Layton and the last time travel?

Visit Puzzlette and finish the puzzle there.
