-1.00 Introduction

Welcome to my fourth FAQ on GameFAQs! Not much to really say here other than
this FAQ will tell you how to achieve each title in Phantasy Star Zero for
the Nintendo DS.
First of all, you can see which titles you have earned and are in the process
of earning by visiting the Personal Counter and selecting the fourth option,
"Player Record." Every title you earn comes with a reward. These are usually
grinders, materials, or photon drops, but sometimes you can earn extremely
rare gear or inventory expansions.
Titles are broken up into self created categories depending, on the
requirements of the titles, to better organize them. All of the titles
are listed in the order they appear in game. None of the titles have been
re-arranged.
Some titles will have an asterisk beside them. This indicates there is a
special note you need to read at the bottom of the title list.

2.10 Slayer Titles: These titles involve slaying different amounts of enemies,
defeating bosses within a time limit, and defeating every type of enemy in
the game (including rare versions of regular enemies).

and title collecting.

* This title requires you to also complete the Cake Shop quest. Naura's Bakery
quest can only be completed once per Naura's Bakery encounter. Make sure that
you
complete the quest three times, once on each difficulty.
** These are extremely rare locations within the game that you have a chance
of finding whenever you're on a field. Keep in mind that some of these rare
locations are much, much harder to find than others, and they can only be
found on specific fields.
The Rappy Nest can ONLY be found in Paru.
The Booma Nest can ONLY be found in Makara.
The Usanny Nest can ONLY be found in Rioh Snowfields.
Naura's Bakery can ONLY be found in Ozette Wetlands and Gurhacia Valley.
Coco's Hut can ONLY be found in Arca Plant and Dark Shrine.
The Arena is different, however, in that it can be found in any of the seven
fields and instead of being its own room, it spawns as a teleporter half way
through the fields.
A final note; The three nests and arena can be found in multiplayer modes,
HOWEVER, Naura's Bakery and Coco's Hut can only be found in the offline
Story Mode.
*** This must be accomplished with one attack combo.
**** The amount of damage must be obtained during a single combo string.
***** You must invite the NPC to your party to join you in a side mission or
field mode run AND complete the mission. It does not count when you play with
an NPC during story mode or when they are required for a side mission.

-4.00 Other Fun Stuff / Q&A

Q: How do I equip titles?
A: You don't actually equip titles. Titles are nothing more than acheivements
you earn through playing the game. You can consider the game truly
completed once you collect all 100 titles.
Q: Why isn't my second/third character earning titles?
A: Everything under "Player Records," including titles, are shared by all of
your characters on a single game card. Every title can only be earned once
per game.
Q: I started a new character, and right off the bat he/she has more inventory
space than normal. Why?
A: Since titles can only be earned once, any titles that expand the inventory
space of your character will be given to all of your characters and any new
characters you may make. This is the only instance where the reward is
shared amongst your characters. Any items you earn can only be collected
once.
Q: Are there any titles unobtainable by certain classes?
A: No. Every title can be obtained by any and every class.
