How do i learn how too dig?

I dont know how too dig and im at toad town trying too find the mushroom boxs can someone help????

Don't worry, you will learn the dig ability eventually. It is impossible to skip getting this ability, because it's part of the story. =)

It is part of the storyline, no worries.

You learn it in Bowser's body at some point.
