I'll make this short and simple: the only place allowed to host this guide is

make you a thief and liar, so for the sake of humanity please don't do it.

                              Minor things before we start
    =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

This is my first guide and of course you'll find faults in them. If you feel
that some things are wrong and/or incomplete, then feel free to send me
useful feedbacks to my e-mail. Please put "Inazuma 2 guide feedback" in your
    title to make things easier.

This guide is NOT 100% spoiler free, you have been warned. I'll still try to
keep it to a minimum but nonetheless don't even complain about this issue.

Now about the language used. In this guide I'm gonna use 100% English
version of player names, clubs, etc. The main reason is because I only play
this game in English. Sure some Japanese names are cool like Kazemaru or
Gouenji, but I got no problem with Nathan Swift or Axel Blaze myself. And with
a game consisting more than 1500 different names, I'm not gonna even consider
    this issue twice.

Lastly, as a personal trademark I'm gonna introduce a *tips* section to go
along with the walkthrough to help new players grasp the game easier.

                               1.00 - About The Game
    =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Inazuma Eleven 2 is a Sports-RPG game. In this case the sport is Football (or
Soccer, whatever~). It's a creative game with lots of "gotta catch 'em all"
feel. BTW the game is made by Level-5 / Nintendo.

The story is about a boy named Mark Evans who loves Football more than
anything in the world. Mark and his team the Raimon Eleven have just won the
Football Frontier until they face a new out of this world (literally)
    challenge.

During their quest, (like any other RPGs) you'll find new allies to recruit
and play football with, but (unlike any other RPGs) there are about 1500
possible allies in this game - enough to turn off your "gotta catch 'em all"
    mood.

So far the main differences between Blizzard and Firestorm are the extra
characters you can recruit and extra team you can fight with. Note that you
can just trade the extra characters if you have a partner with Firestorm.

I intentionally didn't give you any controls and game hints before the main
part of the walkthrough because I intend to explain them as the game
    progresses.

A movie will play. After that you'll see a scene involving our main character
and his mother. After the scene your main character will run outside and bump
    onto a girl named Silvia.

                         *** Important Character(s) Joins!! ***

Name / Nick : Mark Evans / Mark
Position / Alt. Pos.*: GK / FW
Note : Mark Evans is your main character. He is known for his
passion for Football and iron will. Until you finished
the game once you can't take Mark out of the party, not
really a big deal since he's the best GK there is anyway

                         **************************************

    * Alt. Pos. stands for Alternative Position(s). In this game each character
has one of the following positions: GK for Goalkeeper, DF for Defender, MF for
Midfielder, and FW for Forward. Because of their differences in role, most
players are generally suitable at their main role considering their stat gain
and original Special Moves. BUT because the game mechanic doesn't really give
any penalty or limitation to characters' position, some characters can play
in multiple positions or even better in other position besides their original
position, these kind of characters will be considered to have an alternative
    position.

    /// Tips: Task ///

/// The text below the label "Task" explains what you have to do to
progress the story. The exact location of the target is labeled as a
flag on your map. If you're not at the same map yet then it'll guide
you with a Bluish arrow. Of course if you still want to do any other
things simply don't do as it tells you to.

    /// Roaming Controls ///

/// +Control Pad to move; or drag with stylus
       /// Hold "B" to run
/// "A" to talk and confirm; "B" to cancel
       /// "L" and "R" to rotate camera
/// "X" to open up the menu
/// "Start" to quit the game

Now I've yet to explain the menu contents but be patient, let's get on with the
game first by going south. Andy will stop you and tells you something about
saving the game and restoring FP/TP by using the blue portal. The old man on
the right will teach you how to move.

/// Tips: FP and TP ///

/// FP is the equivalent of HP in your everyday RPG. In "Battle" you'll
lose FP for sprinting faster and using/targeted by some special moves.
Once your FP hits 1/4 of your max FP, your character'll start jogging
instead of running in battle. By late game FP isn't that much of an
           issue IMO.

/// TP is the equivalent of MP in your everyday RPG. Using special moves
requires a certain amount of TP.

/// You can restore lost FP and TP by using items and interacting with the
Blue Portal. The Blue Portal will always restore your whole team's FP
and TP completely but costs Prestige (aka Money) based on your team
           level.

Next follow the arrow by going down and then left. Go to the main map and
Choose "River Bank". On your journey you'll encounter treasure chests. I won't
explain what and where they are unless they contain something important since
most of them are things you can obtain quite easily by winning a random Battle
    or buying on the Market.

Go to the right of the map to the next screen. You'll see a flag on the map
now go there and talk to any of those dudes. Mark and his friends will start
chatting. A flashback occurs, for those who played Inazuma Eleven will
understand what's going on. For those who didn't (like me the first time I
played this game), no worries! the game will explain what happened before
    eventually.

                         *** Important Character(s) Joins!! ***

Name / Nick : Jude Sharp / Jude
Position / Alt. Pos. : MF / FW
Note : Considered one of the best players in the game. if you
intend to use him as a Central MF (like me) then please
do yourself a favor and teach him a good Block Special
Move. Some people play him as a Forward, but I think
his Kick isn't really top-class FW grade come late game.

Name / Nick : Jack Wallside / Jack
Position / Alt. Pos. : DF
Note : A big guy that loves toilet, but his defensive skill
can really form a one man defensive wall.
With him and *spoiler*, you really don't have to look
elsewhere for reliable Central Defenders. His Guard
may not be the highest but it is still high plus he
has good moves like The Wall.

Name / Nick : Nathan Swift / Nathan
Position / Alt. Pos. : DF / MF
Note : A cool guy who hates to lose to anyone else.
Very fleet footed. Besides his speed all other stats are
average-good, but his lowish Guard may tempt you to make
him a Wide MF instead like I did ;)

Name / Nick : Kevin Dragonfly / Kevin
Position / Alt. Pos. : FW
Note : His play is fierce like a Dragon. A great striker. His
high Kick and good Special Moves are nothing to sneeze
                           at.

Name / Nick : Tod Ironside / Tod
Position / Alt. Pos. : DF
Note : The team's moodmaker, gotta have one around.
Poor stats all around. The quicker you find his
                           replacement the better.

Name / Nick : William Glass / Willy
Position / Alt. Pos. : FW... or just don't
Note : Willy here isn't very useful, may well be one of the
lowest stats players in the whole game. Unless you're
asking for a challenge don't even think about even
                           putting him on the bench.

                         **************************************

Go through the scenes. Right, from now on I've decided not to explain any of
the scenes since 1. It's a waste of time 2. Possibility of needless spoilers.

A new Task appears, go right and on the city map go to Raimon.

A shocking movie plays... Right before you ask, the 3 girls are Raimon Football
Club's managers. Short hair is Silvia, one with glasses on her head is Celia,
and lastly the long-haired is Nelly.

Before advancing on the main stages of the game, I'll explain every menu in the
game (remember to open it up use the "X" button):

       >>> Friends
Inside you'll find the list of players that're available for you to use
in a Match/Battle. The 4 Light Orange Colored are those in your Battle
party. All the Orange Colored are those in your Match party. The rest
of the page consists of characters in your Reserve (color: Purple).
You can move any character anywhere by Hitting A or Double Tapping.
Note that you can't move characters in a Match/Battle. The maximum
number of Friends you can have is 100.
If you press "Y" you'll open further options for the selected Character:

           >>> Sort : sort their order, for me I always sort manually.
           >>> Dismiss : Let them go from your team. Note that you can't let go of
Raimon 11 or important story allies.
           >>> Equip : Equip your Character with Boots and Accessories. GK gets
to equip Gloves, but it is permanent to the GK position so
even if you change GK mid-match, the Gloves will instantly
be passed on to your new GK.
           >>> SpMoves : check your moves. Moves with the label 2p, 3p involves
other players so you can hit "A" and change the desired
teammate to perform the move. I always choose "random"
whenever possible. Pressing "Y" will open other options
where you can Learn a maximum of 2 custom moves.
           >>> Items : Use items to restore FP or TP.

       >>> Special Moves (same as SpMoves under Friends).

       >>> Inventory (same as Items under Friends).

       >>> Formation
           >>> Match : Changes your formation for a Match. You can change the
Formation (4-4-2 / 3-4-3 / etc) by tapping the "Formation"
                         box.
           >>> Battle : Changes your formation for a Battle. You can change the
Formation by tapping the "Formation" box. Change your
Battle Party with the "Friends" menu and moving your
desired characters to the Light Orange Boxes.
           >>> Connect : Alternative players you want to use in connect /
                         tournament.

       >>> Info
           >>> Records : View your top scorer, top caps, etc
           >>> Player Binder
: See the database of all possible characters and rival
teams (good luck in filling this out).
           >>> Move Binder
: See all the moves your available characters have learned.
           >>> Blog : Silvia's blog containing recent events.

       >>> System
           >>> Help : various things explained, if you're new to the game I
STRONGLY suggests you read all of it.
           >>> Settings: tweak the game's settings.

       >>> Save
Because everyone needs a hero to save them.

Some strange kids will block Raimon FC from entering the school. Suddenly...
    Your first Battle begins!

/// Tips: Battle and Match Controls ///

/// Move a character by sliding him/her across the screen, you can move in
all kinds of direction and style (Zig-zag, curved, etc).

/// to see beyond your current vision you can scroll the screen with the
+Control Pad or ABXY, I prefer the previous.

/// Tap the touch screen to pass the ball to that exact place. By hitting
the ball to an area beyond your teammate, you'll do a through pass.
Essentially your teammate closest to the destined ball will always look
to receive your pass even if you don't give them further command.

/// Tap the area between the goal posts (or essentially the goal) to shoot.
If you shoot inside or close to the penalty area, you are given choices:
             1. You can change your desired spot to land the ball.
             2. You can do a normal shot or chip shot.
             3. By touching the lightning symbol on the center you can use a
shooting Special Move, only if your current player has one to use.

/// If you get too close to the enemy, you'll trigger an offensive duel.
           You have 2 choices:
             1. Do a Feint or Charge.
             2. Use a Dribbling Special Move to dodge the enemy by tapping the
lightning symbol on the center of the previous choice.

/// If the enemy has the ball and your player gets close to him you'll
trigger a defensive duel. Again 2 choices:
             1. Do a Block or Tackle.
             2. Use a Blocking Special Move in an attempt to steal the ball from
them by tapping the lighning symbol on the center of the choices.

/// Remember that all Special Moves consume TP.

Do your best, it's not that hard. Use any Special Moves available since you're
probably curious about what they do. After you've won (or lost), the scenes
    will continue following another movie.

Another scene here with some old men and your friend Jack going to the toilet
... although it doesn't look like the school's toilet survived, actually. One
Of the old dudes is actually Mr. Firewill the headmaster. Go to the northwest
of the map and on to the next screen.

A new task is at hand. Speak to the boy right of you and he'll say something
about a rubble, go up and check that pile of rubble (that used to be your
club room). Enter the hole, short scene and then just go north again. Some
more scenes and movie (a lot of them at the beginning of the game).

    /// Tips: Random encounters ///

/// Random encounters that trigger battles will happen once you step outside
but won't happen if you go into a building with the exception of a
dungeon that's inside a building of course.

    /// Tips: Battle & Special Moves ///

       /// A Battle is a mini-football game of 4 vs 4 with 1 GK on either teams.
My suggestion is to use whatever formation you like best. Me? I prefer
the B-Flat Back. Remember you can use the Red Hand sign at the top
right of the screen to pause the battle and input command(s).
The pause has about 10 seconds to refresh itself. Now I'll explain
about the different Battles that may occur:

             1. Score the first Goal! - You'll lose if the enemy scores or time
                runs out.
             2. Grab a two/three Goal lead! - You may concede a goal but
considering the amount of time you have; you really shouldn't. True
that you're given more time, but grabbing a three goal lead isn't
really easy especially against tough GKs.
             3. Maintain possession of the ball - Don't let enemy gain control of
the ball. Position your players well and pass the ball around and
use a Dribble Special Move if you somehow got into a Duel.
             4. Gain possession of the ball - The easiest of 'em all. You can even
win by not doing anything except tapping "Sliding tackle" once your
                player enganged the enemy.
             5. Don't let the other team score - easy enough, steal the ball and
just waste time by passing around.

       /// Battle quick tips

            > Many pepople don't know about this, but you can use items in battles,
just pause the game, select a player and choose item. This is really
useful to heal your TP especially in multiple battles in a row.
            > If you're pressed for time, tap the screen when a Special Move
animation occurs. This will cut down the time usually wasted by
watching those moves. Note that you can't skip a GKs save move
              animation.
            > There's no fouls in battle, so use any method necessary to win.
            > There's no line (thus no dead ball situation except for kickoff).
There's no offside too, use this to your advantage.
            > No 'S' symbol to do long-range shots, the time out symbol is still
              available for you to use.

       /// Special Moves

/// There are 5 types of Special Moves in general:

            > [Shot] : A shooting Special Move, can only be executed in or close
to the opposition's penalty box with the exception of
                        long-ranged shots.
            > [Drib.] : A dribbling Special Move, can be executed when your player
has the ball and makes contact with the enemy.
            > [Block] : A blocking Special Move, can be executed when the enemy
has the ball and your player makes contact with them.
            > [Save] : A saving Special Move, can only be used by GK when the
                        enemy shoots the ball.
            > [Skill] : A passive skill. Always activated in Battle and Match.
Look at the details for explanation on what they do. Skill
                        does not level up.

/// All Special Moves have three levels. Level 0 (or not typed), Level
              +1, and level +2.

/// Mega Moves are exceptions, they can be much more stronger with 5
levels. They are indicated by the small 'L1' on the right of your
move's name (example: Megaton Head L1). Mega Moves take much more
time to level up but extremely powerful once at maximum L5. Only
[Shot] and [Save] Moves have Mega Moves.

/// Some Special Moves require two or more players to execute. The worst
case is some of those players are fixed thus you can't perform the
move unless the required players involved are present in your
Battle/Match party. Look at the '2p' or '3p' close to the TP cost
in your Special Moves menu. Hit A to change players involved, I
recommend to set it to random if possible.

/// These are details about some Moves with extra property:

            > Shot-blockingB.
Notice that some moves have a large 'B' on the upper right of their
name? (example: The TowerB) It indicates that the move can also be
used to block enemy shots too. Note that you can only block shots
within a certain distance from you. The result can be:
              1. Miss. You'll miss the ball completely
              2. Power Down. The ball is still going but the power decreases.
              3. Blocked. You Successfully blocked the shot.

            > Longe-range shotsL
Notice some shooting moves with a large 'L' on the upper right of
their name? (example: Ranbow ArcL) It indicates that the move can
be used from long range (anywhere on the pitch). Activate by
tapping the 'S' on the top right of the screen on a match. Note that
these moves are prone to shot-blocking moves and they're weaker the
              longer the distance.

After all that, go back outside and attempt to exit Raimon High by going East
and you'll be challenged to a battle. Remember to use your special moves, if
you should attempt to do a basic shooting, just aim for the farthest angle
from the enemy GK. If the enemy GK charges you just use a Chip shot. You
can try to roam and get a more grip of the Battle system while also gaining
some levels at Raimon Gate. Now exit Raimon High through the front gate.

Go to Umbrella Jr. High. You get a good look at the aliens. Now go immediately
left (through the trees) and onto the flag mark at the center of the Football
pitch. Onto your first match of the game!

                                  vs Gemini Storm

...Or not really, since you'll be slaughtered automatically... there are many
similar unwinnable match in this game, you just have to deal with it. On the
second half a certain Ace striker will join you. Don't bother using Special
Moves to block the enemy, once they shoot use Mark's God Hand. The ball will
instantly be passed to Jude, and then use Inazuma Break. End of Match, another
    movie.

                               :::::::::::::::::::::::

At this point of the game you'll lose Steve, Timmy, Jim, Max, and Sam all due
to injuries during the previous match.

After another scene go down the stairs and exit the Hospital and back to
Raimon. Talk to the Governor. Brace yourself... yes, another movie.

At this point you are asked to find more teammates! Don't just stand there and
quickly rush to the Station. Go North and speak to the two boys there. After
the scene talk to them individually and for the sake of Football please say
yes and let them join you, after that you'll get the "Moonsault" manual.

Name / Nick : Erik Eagle / Erik
Position / Alt. Pos. : MF / FW
Note : The Midfield Magician, ultra high stats demon. On par
with Jude as a midfielder, he can perform great
anywhere in MF and FW area but I prefer to make him a
                           Wide Midfielder.

Name / Nick : Bobby Shearer / Bobby
Position / Alt. Pos. : DF
Note : With him and Jack, you really don't have to look
elsewhere for reliable Central Defenders. Ultra high
                           Guard with good stats elsewhere.

                         **************************************

Next go to Umbrella, talk to the group of kids near the Blue Portal. After that
ask whoever you want to join you, it's only to advance the storyline so
anyone can do (there's no good player in Umbrella anyway). I picked Edmonds
    since he's the closest anyway.

After another scene you're back at Mark's house. exit and go to Raimon. At
Raimon talk to Lina and then (yet another) long scene unfolds. When you're
all in the bus there's a certain character "cheering" you on from afar. If
you played the first game you'd have a good idea who that is.

Scenes and Movie, after that to the next chapter.

    =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Talk to Mr. Veteran (the driver) and agree to go to Nara. Enter the City. After
a scene you'll discover that the scouting system is on, nice! just "talk" to
the machine on the left of the bus to scout players to join your team.

You'll enter Nara City, go right and up the stairs. Go left and onto the next
screen. In case you're wondering, I use Erik, Jude, and Axel in Battle. Don't
have enough alternatives anyway at this early stage. Go left until you see
stairs with sakura (or cherry blossom if you like) trees. Talk to the guy
    wearing a suit.

You can't get through, now go right back to the 1st screen and attempt to climb
down the steps. A scene about Celia trying to scare adult with deer crackers.
Back to the man guarding the stairs. You'll be able to go through now...

    WAIT A SECOND!

    /// Tips ///

/// At this point of the game I STRONGLY urges you to scout players to your
team. Try to scout a minimum of 2 DF, 2 MF, and 1 FW to maximise your
Match team. For DF look for players with high Guard, for FW players
with high Kick, for MF players with a bit of everything.

/// Note that you can enter the special password players, refer to section
3.05 - Scouting Password. Some good players there IMO.

DO NOT ATTEMPT to continue the game unless you've scouted some players (three
at the very least. Any reasonable looking stats players will do for now.

Done? now head north until the next screen and north again until you reach the
statue. After a scene a Football Match with the Secret Service will begin!

    /// Tips: Match ///

/// I'll give a general tips to play a match, once again this is only
suggestions so feel free to develop your own playing style :

           1. Preparation is the key to a good start. Check your players' FP and TP
and think carefully which players you'll use.
           2. When building up an attack, don't use risky passes! you still
can pass to an empty space as long as your player's closer to the
              ball than the enemy.
           3. Use through pass to release your FW. This strategy is best with a
speedy forward. How to do it? tap on the ground behind the enemy
defender / on front of your FW, your FW will chase it at full pace.
           4. In case your FWs aren't that fast, use your wide MF to get past the
enemy and deliver a cross for the FWs to score easily.
           5. Stop the play by tapping the 'Red Hand' symbol on the top right of
your screen. This is particularly important after you win/lose a duel
              to reorganize your players.
           6. If you like to play long-range shots (do it by tapping the 'S' symbol
on the top right), do yourself a favor and do a test shot first early
in the match. This is important to determine if enemies have any
shot-blocking moves or not. Long-range shots can also be used to
effectively drain enemy players' TP this way.
           7. Unlike a battle, you CAN'T use items in a match. The solution?
Substitute out your player if he/she runs out of FP/TP. Unlike real
football, you can substitute endlessly in this game. Note that you
can only do a substitution if the ball's dead (free kick, throw in,
goal kick, kick off, penalty kick, corner kick).
           8. Plan your TP use carefully, this is crucial in early games since you
won't have a large pool to use.
           9. Activate 'Fired Up!' to give you an advantage in game (activate by
              holding L + R for a few seconds), it'll only last about 7-10 minutes
but useful. Some of its effects:
              - Stronger shots.
              - You're more likely to win duels.
              - Your Special Moves are stronger and cost only 3/4 of their original
                cost.

                              ::: Match Strategy! :::
                                 vs Secret Service

The match is easy (if you did follow my previous tips earlier). A little bit of
warning: Kevin, Nathan, and Jack will act weird and run slowly (they ran out of
FP and TP in this match), so go and utilize Gouen... err Axel Blaze to score
goals. It's a good idea to put Jude up front with Axel.

After the first half ends, you're forced to substitute Kevin, Nathan, and Jack.
Now this isn't going to be a problem since you followed my advice, right?
Anyway this is just another easy early game match.

                              :::::::::::::::::::::::

After the match, Mr. Veteran's extra competition is open. This way you can
have a rematch against any teams you've encountered. Continuing where we left:
search for clues. Talk to the Secret Service on the center of the map in front
of the big blue screen. After the scene head out via the eastern exit and then
go to Deer TV (TV Station). Go back to the bus.

You'll be taught how to use the 3 main features of the bus: Connection Map,
Scouting System, and Extra Competition Route. For now use the Connection Map.
Go ahead and Scout Eugene Conwell, he is at Nara > City, from where you started
go on east and he'll be standing in front of the steps. Eugene himself is an
okay character (for now), so go ahead and use him if you're interested.

Next still at the same steps look to your right, there'll be a creepy boy
standing. Set up your Match Formation before talking to him. Ready? now talk
to him and agree to a friendly. Please note that a friendly like this only goes
for 1x30 minutes (not 2x30). You can win easily by relying on Axel or Kevin to
pull the trigger. Once you win you get to fight Occult on the Extra Competition
and the best part is you can recruit Occult members.

    At the TV station...

With Conwell on the team, you can enter the TV station. Talk to the guards and
they'll let you pass. Enter the building and inside go to the upper left and
check the elevator on the right. Watch the scene and you'll acquire a new
    story member.

                         *** Important Character(s) Joins!! ***

Name / Nick : Victoria Vanguard / Tori
Position / Alt. Pos. : MF / DF
Note : Tori is a cute and positive girl. As a player she's a
solid one. Not as godly as Jude / Erik but she has her
own strengths. Her Special Moves are great, especially
The Tower. Even with her rather average Guard I rarely
lose a Blocking Duel using The Tower. Stick her at
center MF so you can use The Tower more frequently as
enemy AI tends to play through the center.

                         **************************************

Put Tori on your starting 11 (I recommend on wide DF for this match). You
probably still have Axel on your starting lineup anyway, but put him in if you
haven't. Another match with Gemini Storm kicks off.

                              ::: Match Strategy! :::
                             vs Gemini Storm (part II)

Put Axel in a good position and let him get a shot inside (or close) to the
penalty area. After a scene you'll be forced to use Fire Tornado but Axel will
miss rather spectacularly. After this the enemy will activate "invincibility
mode" again so don't bother to defend or anything. After Gemini Storm scores a
    goal, the match will end.

                              :::::::::::::::::::::::

After the match go ahead and watch another "oh no, why?" moment in RPG. Now you
know why I didn't put his profile up when he joined early in the game ;)

After a lengthy scene and movie, you're back at Nara Deer Park. Before going
anywhere go right and look for a suspicious character and talk to him. This is
Chicken and don't be chickened out! give him a proper trashing.

Go to Tokyo and an event'll automatically play. That's the end of Chapter Two!

                               2.03 - Chapter Three
    =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Long story short, you're gonna try and recruit someone to replace Axel.
Go to Hokkaido. go north, across the bridge and then west. Lina's phoning
somebody. After the event, go and talk to Mr. Veteran at the entrance of the
    city.

Go to the Northern Ridge. Now on your map there is a lightning symbol at the
center and a big tree. Your target is to talk to the boy in front of the tree
BUT before doing that go northeast. You'll find someone, go talk to him and
agree to a friendly match (it's only 1x30 min. long in case you forgot).

The match isn't hard at all, so my only advice is: do your best. After you've
won a new place called "shopping area" at Tokyo opens up, so head there
already! Once you're there, go straight east. You can enter the rightmost
building, it's a maid cafe (go search google if you don't know what a maid cafe
is). Talk to a boy in the maid cafe and he'll offer a friendly as well, you'd
know what to answer by now, right? no? ok, ok, just answer "yes".

They're slightly better than Brainwashing but not really that hard, if you
insist on a strategy then here: assign Jude and Nathan as your wide MF, go past
the enemy winger with their dribble skill and cross to Kevin or any other good
    FW you've recruited.

Before we go on to the story you might want to consider doing some sidequests:

    /// Tips ///

/// You're probably tired from going on the main story. This chapter is best
to start having fun and doing other things beside story-advancing. If
you feel like doing some side things, then do the following:

/// Scout and Recruit new players. At this point of the game, good
players become more crucial. Some of the good guys I've recruited so
far: Gorilla (Wild), Wolfy (Occult), Eagle (Wild), Lion (Wild),
Priter (Scout), Glodight (Scout). Note that you can do the
Connection Map if you want but you must stock on many Friendship
Points plus the great characters are usually close to the end of the
tree, so be patient. Note that you can't get the Connection Map
players by Hillman's scouting even if you've encountered them in
              Battle.

/// Go to Umbrella and have a friendly match, next go to the Riverbank
and talk to the kid at the football field for a friendly, then go to
the shopping district, walk east and north in an alley. next screen
head right, you should see a football pitch. Talk to the person
there to have another friendly match.

/// Do the extra tournament and aim for an S rank for each Match. an S
rank can "easily" be obtained by:
              1. Win by a minimum of 5 goals margin.
              2. Not conceding any goals.
In short the only acceptable results: 5-0, 6-0, 7-0, 8-0, and so on.

/// After this point of the game, I won't be bothering you about these
sidequesting anymore (meaning: do them when you want to). Although I'll
still notify you about any new team you can have a friendly with.

Let's continue... (go back to Northern Ridge).

Now go and talk to the boy in front of the tree. After a short talk he will
temporarily join you. Go back to the Northern Ridge and head north. There
should be a purple arrow for you to follow.

/// Tips: special recruit Aurelia ///

/// You can find Aurelia (your Raimon classmate) at the 2nd screen of
Northern Ridge, she's standing near the tree. Now the strange thing: in
my first game she appears there the first time I pass through. The next
game (the one I play as I write the guide), she's not there. I got her
at last on one of the later chapters, my guess right now is it's about
Luck. So if she doesn't appear just go on with the game 1st and remember
           to check once in awhile.

ex: she is a special character because she joins without being
scouted/recruited but sadly her abilities aren't that good. Let her warm
your reserves cos I don't think you can recruit her again if you release
her. Aurelia isn't the only special recruit in the game btw.

Let's get back to the walkthrough: Follow the path north. Some more event and
then north again. Next screen you'll arrive at Alpine JrHigh.

You must search for our new ace striker. go east and up the stairs to the next
screen. This is Alpine School. Go to the northeast and speak to the boy
standing beside the main building's door (there's a guard there who won't let
you in). The Alpine gate is directly south, talk to anyone there.

Turns out the kid you're looking for was that kid earlier (pretty easy to guess
I must say). After that go back to the pitch (west of the map). Talk to Shawn
standing on the middle of the pitch and agree for a Match.

                              ::: Match Strategy! :::
                                    vs Alpine

No Axel to cheat your way out now, but you still have Kevin. I hope you
listened when I told you to recruit quality members because you do need a good
FW to accompany Kevin. The 1st half is just like any normal match, except I
urge you to grab a minimum of 2 goal lead before the half-time whistle. Put
Kevin or your strongest FW on the left side, because the right is guarded by
Shawn and he's a good DF with the SpMove "Land of Ice" in tow.

You did grab a 2 goal lead, right? because at the start Shawn will immediately
score with his Eternal Blizzard (cool name and cool move I must say). This
match isn't that hard, just watch out for Shawn. Oh plus the GK has two uses of
Aurora Curtain so count that in your match plan.

                              :::::::::::::::::::::::

After some more chit-chat, go out and head to Northern Ridge. Shawn is at his
usual spot, talk to him. Another scene, after that go west and close in on
    Nathan.

Now you can start training on lightning symbols all across the game. A training
session costs 80 P and will go up the more you use it/person. I don't know
the limit because I'm not that interested in burning my cash through this
individual training. Because of the cost, I highly suggest to stick onto more
vital stats to train, mainly Kick for FW and Guard for GK and DF. For MF you
can train Body, Control, Kick, Guard, and Speed (yeah many... I know).

Go back to the bus. After the lengthy scene, go out the school and to Northern
Ridge again. Talk to Shawn at his usual place, a Battle will begin. Easy as
cake. Now you'll gain the Sparkling Cool *new* Ace Striker SHAWN FROSTE.
But wait... he's a DF??? Now don't go and curse your luck just yet, follow the
story for now and head to the Alpine Football pitch.

                              ::: Match Strategy! :::
                               vs Gemini Storm (III)

Put Shawn on DF. The match isn't that hard as most of Gemini Storm's players
have very little TP to use. Watch out for Janus as his Warp Drive is almost
unbeatable (he got pass through Tori's The Tower while under Fired Up in my
game). At the second half, you must change Shawn to his alter ego and put him
    up front.

Shawn will steal the ball, now go and do as he told you: pass the ball around
and pass it back to Shawn when he's up front and release Eternal Blizzard.
The GK won't be able to catch this move no matter what SpMove he uses. All in
all this may be the hardest winnable match so far, but as long as you defend
well and utilize Kevin for 1st half and Shawn for the 2nd, should be piece of
cake meets stealing candy from a baby.

Name / Nick : Shawn Froste / Froste
Position / Alt. Pos. : DF + FW
Note : Your new ace striker Shawn Froste is the first player
with an alter ego. He can switch between a DF and FW
while at the same time changing his base stats and
Special Moves. If you're lazy, then stick him as FW, but
his DF skills are great too. One of the ultra high stats
players with extreme points in Kick and Guard.

                         **************************************

Now that you've beaten the aliens, congrats! see the ending and enjoy your cup
of.... nah just kidding! Actually the aliens have more than 1 team of football

leader will come and greet you personally.

                               2.04 - Chapter Four
    =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Talk to mr. Veteran and stop in Kyoto. In Kyoto City go straight ahead and then
East at the next intersection, an event will play. Another easy battle. BTW
there's a special training that heightens Control here, so you might wanna
use it to train some MF or FW with poor Control. Anyway just go out of the map
and select the Cloister as your next destination.

Go up the stairs. After the event go talk to Kik for a friendly.

                              ::: Match Strategy! :::
                               vs Cloister Divinity

The GK has 2 Flame Breaths to use, but Shawn's Eternal Blizzard should be
enough to force a goal. Actually their 2 FWs the Artz brothers are great
players (Dirk Artz in particular, go recruit him later on), but in this match I
didn't let the ball get to them so all in all it's an easy match.

                              :::::::::::::::::::::::

Cloister's coach will give you Megaton Head, a powerful shooting move. You can
also let a player teach others their custom moves (no, they can't teach their
innate moves to others). Is this useful? yes because not every move is
buyable, at least some not in this stage of the game (for example the Megaton
Head you just got). Let Mark learn the Megaton Head, why? you'll know the
reason once you've seen the move's animation ;)

Now go north and talk to Kik, he'll mention something about Banyan. After that
go south and just as you pass the red gate go to your west through the trees
(the place has two blue dots). Now go back north and talk to Kik again.

You have to look for a boy, so go to the city. Head north until you see a set
of stairs, now don't go there but talk to the boy left of the stairs. He'll
mention about his friend Ken. Go back south and you should see a boy standing
in front of a small alley on the left, talk to him.

Surprise surprise, I myself didn't think that HE was the boy. Go back to the
Cloister. Head up and to the pitch. You're given time to prepare so go and do
that: heal all FP and TP and put Banyan on your starting lineup, my suggestion
would be at Center MF alongside Jude, you'll see why. Once ready go ahead and
speak to Dvalin (weird name, I know).

                              ::: Match Strategy! :::
                                   vs Epsilon (I)

It's "Alien Invincibility" mode again, hope you're getting used to this. Don't
bother with any Special Move since even Shawn will fail this time. After 10
minutes have passed a scene will occur. Now do this: pause the game and pass
the ball to the enemy closest to Banyan while at the same time ordering him
to charge the enemy. With a good timing the enemy will control the ball only
to be engaged by Banyan. If not, you still have the whole match to do this,
just have Banyan engage in a Blocking Duel. With him in Center MF you'll have
a better position to engage the enemy. Go and use Whirlwind Force and then the
match will be over thanks to Banyan's heroics.

                              :::::::::::::::::::::::

                         *** Important Character(s) Joins!! ***

Name / Nick : Scott Banyan / Banyan
Position / Alt. Pos. : DF / MF
Note : Banyan is a balanced DF, his stats seem nice but his
Guard is only slightly above average thus making him not
suitable to be a Center DF. He has a not so useful alter
ego that changes his SpMoves and boosts all his other
stats but lowering his Guard. His alter ego is a better
MF (and a possible FW). Note that his alter ego has a
Jinx skill (randomly lowers Special Move success).

                         **************************************

After that Dvalin will retreat. Another long scenes and on we go to the next
    chapter.

                               2.05 - Chapter Five
    =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Go to Ehime and enter the City. Now before doing anything else you *might*
want to consider recruiting the following characters: Janus (Gemini Storm),
Io (Gemini), Dirk Artz (Cloister), Diam (Gemini).

Note about Gemini Storm players, most of them have high stats all over the
floor BUT they share the same trademark: low to very low TP. Just so you don't
get discouraged, you can remedy that in the near future (although it'll take a
bit of work, roughly an extra 2-3 gameplay hours). Dirk Artz on the other hand
are ready to use off the bat.

Keep in mind all of those are only suggestions, do as you like.

Back in Ehime City, go east and talk to a boy next to the G-mart. Talk to the
same boy who now positioned himself in front of the mart. Go right to the next
screen and enter the Sports shop (there's a flag there). Talk to the guy beside
the clerk. Now go back to the 1st screen, go down the stairs and down again
via the mini-stairs (rotate your camera if you're confused). Talk to the boy
    here.

An easy battle with some alien henchmen begins. You need to investigate the
docks so exit the city and go to the docks. After a movie and a scene you'll
be advised to go to Royal Academy. Now exit the place and select Tokyo > Royal
    Academy.

At Royal Academy go on in and after the scene go back to Ehime > Docks. Another
battle with those small-time boys. Go north (as usual, Flag=destination) and
check the blue bridge(?). Go in and once you're prepared talk to Ray Dark to
begin the match. I hope you're prepared for the hardest match thus far.

                              ::: Match Strategy! :::
                               vs Royal Academy Redux

Rush in on the attach as soon as the whistle blows. As usual my favourite
strategy is break through the side and cross for a close range Special Move.
Save the trouble and put Shawn and Kevin up front (if you've recruited Dirk
and leveled him up a bit then he's a wise choice too). So far so good? wait for
    it.

Once the game reaches the 10th minute, a scene will occur. You'll witness the
coolest move in the game, EMPEROR PENGUIN NO.1 !!! why is it the coolest?
because of the penguin, that's why. Anyway this means an automatic goal for
the Royal Redux, now ain't that cheap? You can rest easy, after this it'll be
a walk in the... not really.

At the 20th minute, Samford will do another Emperor Penguin No.1 ! But
fortunately this time you got Jude to cover you. Around this time you should
try to score at least a goal with Kevin. I managed two by the first half.

At the 10th minute of second half, Samford will do another EP No.1, now it's
Kevin's turn to block the shot. Sadly now Kevin lost all his energy BUT you
can't sub him out. Do your best, use Shawn's Eternal Blizzard and Tori's
Rainbow Arc (try to kick it after the halfway line). When Shawn runs out of
TP sub him out for any good FW you have.

This match is annoying because each 10 minutes you're interrupted by Samford's
EPN1, plus Kevin turns to a sweaty dude come second half.

For a last resort if you still find it hard to score, put Kevin on a wide DF
position so you can use two healthy strikers. Although I said "hardest", this
match actually isn't that hard. I managed to win 4-1 at the end.

                              :::::::::::::::::::::::

You'll lose Kevin at this point of the game. The good part? at this time of
the game there are many players who can easily replace Kevin so it's not really
that bad. You still have Shawn, unless you're playing him as a DF ;)

    =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
                               2.06 - Chapter Six
    =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Don't you feel that the Chapters are becoming shorter? No? well anyway as
usual talk to Mr. Veteran and ask him to drop you at Osaka > City. As soon as
you're there go.... back to Tokyo first. Select Royal Academy, next screen
go to the west and talk to Drent for a friendly. Now before you're tempted to
recruit Samford and King, talk to a boy at the first screen, he'll mention
about both being injured. So unfortunately at this point you can't recruit them
yet. Other Royal Academy players are fine though.

Go to Osaka > City and immediately go to the right. There should be a boy, this
is Cloak and you can talk to him for a friendly. Now if you want to do some
recruiting some of my suggestions: Stonewall (Redux), Sparrow (Redux - because
girls are rare, I suggest bringing in any that's fairly good), Waldon (Royal).
Might as well say it now: if you intend to play post-game and obtain all of the
secrets in this game then DO NOT attempt to dismiss any of your characters
until you reach at least 80 players on your team. There's no need to reach the
80 mark now, but until you do then don't dismiss anybody yet. When you do reach
80 friends, think of that number as a bare minimum (For example if you have 82
then feel free to dismiss 2).

Back to Osaka City, go north and onto the next screen. Look at your minimap and
talk to the man beside the lightning symbol. Next head out and go to Naniwa
Land. You're forced to choose between 4 girls (my my...). Personally the girl
I like the most is Nelly, but in Blizzard you'd want to choose Silvia because
she's the main girl in the game. Anyone will do really, up to you.

Go left and talk to the person that sells toffee for a little "date" scene. go
clockwise from there (you can talk to Nathan on the northwest too). Now head
east to the next screen, talk to Jude, Celia, Nelly and then Shawn. Go back
and talk to Tod. Prepare yourself and talk to Sue for a match.

                              ::: Match Strategy! :::
                                   vs Triple C

Match strategy... actually there's no need. Most of Triple C members are just
average. Do what you have to do.

                              :::::::::::::::::::::::

If you got Erik on your match party the scene will go smoothly. But if you
don't then go and put him in you party and speak to Sue again. Now if SOMEHOW
you didn't recruit Erik yet, that means you're not paying attention to this
guide. Reports say that you can still recruit him to continue the game but
why make your life harder when you enjoy a godly character from the start?

Now go right to the next screen and talk to Sue standing in front of the
haunted house. Activate the device on the right and go down the stairs.

                         *** Important Character(s) Joins!! ***

Name / Nick : Suzette Hartland / Hartland
Position / Alt. Pos. : FW
Note : Sue has some good and balanced stats. The only problem
is as a striker Kick is the most important stat and
Sue's kick is just slightly above average. The good
thing is she's a female with some female-only moves.
Plus as I told you before, any rather good female is
good to have so all in all, Sue's a nice addition.

                         **************************************

Now you need to examine the machine on the top-right corner. This training
method will raise all 16 Match squad members' stats of choice. Now is the right
time to train those Gemini Storm members and raise their TP. Anyway IMO the
Special Course and the Attack Course are the most useful training. You don't
need to spend too many gameplay hours to train just for the main game, but you
do need some Special Course training for Janus cs (I think 3-4 times is
    enough).

/// Tips: Naniwa Training Facility ///

/// If you look at the map, it's some kind of random labyrinth. You need
to defeat a robot OR open a chest to unlock the doors to other rooms.
Eventually your goal is to arrive at a big room and win the match.

/// The hard part? you can't lose even one Battle, you'll be kicked out if
that should happen. So don't be stingy and use your best Battle party
and Special Moves. Restore lost FP/TP with items and you'll be fine.

Once you think you've had enough (for now, at least), go outside and talk to
Silvia to continue the story. I hope you're hungry cos we're going for pancake
this time. Head back to the city and enter the okonomiyaki restaurant, it's on
the left side of the lightning symbol. After that go back to the training
facility. Choose any Course and progress until the big Football Field.

Surprise surprise, your secret admirer awaits you ;)

                              ::: Match Strategy! :::
                                  vs Epsilon (II)

In this match you'll need a top striker to accompany Sue up front (at this
point your best bet is Shawn or Dirk). At the beginning of the match you'll
notice that the enemy will use Special Moves for free. You can still score a
goal with strong moves but if you can't then defend with all your might.
Tori's role is more vital than ever here, since her The Tower will almost
always win her a duel. If they still manage to get past Tori, then use Jack's
The Wall or Bobby's Volcano Cut. If somehow an enemy manages to get past those
three, use Mark's Majin The Hand. After the first half ends, Epsilon will start
to run out of energy, meaning they'll consume TP to use moves at the 2nd half.

The second half will be the time to gun them down with all your offensive
might. Activate Fired Up. Remember, always shoot with your strongest move to
break past Dvalin's Special Save. Alternatively you can try to shoot from long
range (use Rainbow Arc, etc). Even if Dvalin managed to save your shot, at
least you've whittled down his TP. Plus Epsilon's DFs aren't that interested in
blocking your long-range shooting it seems.

A pretty challenging match, I must say.

                              :::::::::::::::::::::::

Tod will stay at the hospital too (see a pattern here?). Thankfully you never
    use him anyway.

                               2.07 - Chapter Seven
    =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

You'll arrive in Fukuoka.... OK OK fine, talk to Mr. Veteran and choose Fukuoka
    > City. Next chapter I'll assume you already arrive at the destination since
    this is getting annoying.

Once inside, go straight and right pass the bridge. Go east until the next
screen. Keep going east and you'll come across an empty lot. At the entrance
there's a boy, talk to him and agree to a friendly match. FYI the team you've
just beaten has some good DFs and GK (if you're interested).

Time for some special character recruiting. Go to the Tokyo > Tower, climb the
tower and talk to the boy. This is Peabody (Raimon's mascot), talk to him
repeatedly (no need to exit and reenter) until he flees the place. Go to the
Shopping area, run to the right until the next screen. In the middle of the
map there's a person that says that the ramen store isn't open. Now enter the
ramen store just behind him. Talk to Peabody in here (again, repeatedly until
he flees). Lastly go to Fukuoka > City and onto the second map. He's near the
eastern exit, talk to him until he's convinced and he'll join you.

Since we're recruiting special characters, let's continue. Go to Nara > TV
Station and go to the roof. At the bottom-right is Horse Jr. Talk to him and
agree to let him join you. Same as Peabody, he's not so useful as a player.

Going on to the story: when you enter Fukuoka and pass the bridge, there should
be a scene involving a car stopping. Head there and talk to the boys (no, not
a song by Girls' Generation). After that exit and head to Fauxshore. Talk to
Luckyman standing on the middle of the pitch for a match.

                              ::: Match Strategy! :::
                                   vs Fauxshore

Just another day in the office. LaChance may know God Hand and succeed in
stopping some of your shots but that's about it. Their defenders are weak with
no Dribble moves so if you managed to get a Duel, your FWs will easily steal
the ball most of the time. Finish them off and get on with the game.

                              :::::::::::::::::::::::

After the match go back to Fukuoka City. Head to the second screen and go to
the empty lot. Now back to Fauxshore. After the scene, (again) to Fauxshore you
go, a loooooooooooooooooooooong scene+movie once more. And AGAIN to Fauxshore.

Brace yourself for Genesis, that's the title for the task and I must say it's
    very fitting.

                                   vs Genesis (I)

Put Nathan anywhere he might get the ball easily. Oh did I forget to mention
it? yeah, it's another "Alien invincibility" match. Just do whatever and after
a while Shawn will start to have his personality disorder problem, Nathan will
try and talk him through but to no avail.

After this little scene, pass the ball to Nathan and use his Dribble Special
Move to get past the enemy (it's certain to work). When the enemy gets the ball
back, use Nathan to intercept them in a Blocking duel (and he'll win again) OR
if Nathan's in possession again do the same thing as before: go past the enemy
with a Dribble Special Move. The match will end.

                              :::::::::::::::::::::::

If you like Nathan, then I'm sorry to say that honeymoon's over. Nathan got
injured so bad he won't be able to go with you. Personally I think his stats
are a bit too average (Speed aside, of course), but he's a cool character
    nonetheless.

After that scene, talk to the coach. LaChance joins you! Congrats, after losing
a speedy winger you got a goalkeeper, lucky you! *ehem* sarcasm aside, next
    is a new chapter.

                         *** Important Character(s) Joins!! ***

Name / Nick : Darren LaChance / LaChance
Position / Alt. Pos. : GK
Note : Now the question is: why would you need another GK when
Mark certainly is more than enough? Darren actually has
some solid GK moves, although his Guard is below Mark.
My advice? give him some extra Guard training. His TP
needs a little bit boost from the Training Facilit too.

                               2.08 - Chapter Eight
    =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Don't you feel that the title of this chapter gave away too much information?
Anyway, on to Okinawa City. Talk to Silvia above you and start training. Now
head to Mary Times. Talk to Hurley for a match.

                              ::: Match Strategy! :::
                                   vs Mary Times

Quite a long scene before the real match starts, eh? anyway it's straight to
the second half with the 1st half tied at 1-1. There's not much to say about
this match since Mary Times has a very weak defense. Their GK will even waste
most of his TP by using ONE Table Turner. Easy match.

                              :::::::::::::::::::::::

Now go down and look to the southeast of the map. There should be someone on
the beach. This is Saggy, talk to him and let him join your crew. Unlike most
of your other Raimon High special characters, Saggy is actually good and can
perform well on FW and MF plus he got a Long-range move in his arsenal.

Moving on to the game, go back to the City. Some scenes and then back to the
bus and talk to Silvia, say yes. Back to Mary Times and talk to the boys
standing on the center of the pitch. Now to the City once again. After the
scene, head south and talk to Hurley.

The lighthouse is obviously northwest, talk to Hurley again. Yes, the game has
a lot of going back and forth like this... now to Mary Times again. Talk to
the Mary Times Coach east of the field. Back to the lighthouse and enter it.
After that? of course back to Mary Times, what else ;)

Before doing anything else, make sure your party's healed. Talk to Lina
    standing on the field.

                              ::: Match Strategy! :::
                                vs Advanced Epsilon

You'll need to put Shawn, Jude, Jack, and Kane on your match party. At the 10th
minute, Shawn will go crazy once again and he'll automatically do an Eternal
Blizzard but failed (now that's rare). After the scene you have to substitute
Shawn out. Before the 1st half ends, Dvalin will do a Gungnir and your 3 Raimon
    pillars will block it.

"Let's play football". Now that the Blazing Ace Striker is back, you've got
    nothing to fear!

On second half Dvalin will do another Gungnir but Mark will stop it with Fist
of Justice. Get the ball to Axel and let him shoot inside or close to the
penalty box. Use Fireball Storm for an automatic goal. The game will be a fair
game after this point, beware of Dvalin and Metron (don't even let them get
close to your goal), I managed to stop them with Io and his powerful
    Gravitation.

Maybe it's the game or something but I can't score using any other players
beside Axel, my Gorilla with Megaton Head can't score even when Epsilon's GK
uses no Special Save. Anyway since you already have a one goal advantage, this
match isn't hard. Just defend well and you'll win. I won 2-0 with both goals
    from Axel btw.

                              :::::::::::::::::::::::

                         *** Important Character(s) Joins!! ***

Name / Nick : Hurley Kane / Kane
Position / Alt. Pos. : DF / MF
Note : Hurley is a good character. He has above average stats
with great Kick. His Tsunami boost is awesome, I
recommend putting him on wide DF / wide MF.

Name / Nick : Axel Blaze / Axel
Position / Alt. Pos. : FW
Note : About time, eh? Axel has great overall stats coupled
with extremely high Kick. He came back with a complete
set of Special Moves. Add one Block move to help him
steal ball from defenders and he'll be your flaming
                           beast on the field.

                               2.09 - Chapter Nine
    =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Before we go on with the story, to all Samford and King fan: now is the time to
recruit them. If you check by talking to the boy at Royal Academy, he'll say
that both are doing better now. Note that if you want to recruit any of Epsilon
players, your team level needs to be at least 40. Epsilon shares the same trait
with Gemini Storm, many great stats members in exchange for very low TP. Your
call. Recruit Dvalin at least (he can change to his alter ego, a reasonably
    good FW).

Now continuing our story: talk to Lina. Next all the way to Tokyo > Raimon
(been quite awhile, eh). Your school's all shiny again! After you have fun
exploring your fixed school (there are new treasures too here), talk to Silvia.

Interesting scene and what a cool guy, eh... 'kay now I hope you're ready to
face a challenge from the gods, talk to Aphrodite when you're ready!

                              ::: Match Strategy! :::
                                     vs Zeus

OK, be very careful in this match. My first advice is to forget using long
range shots because every zeus player knows Divine Stamp. Work your passing
right and utilize your wingers to create chances for your FWs to do open
shots. Luckily Zeus' GK can only use 2 Tsunami Walls.

Zeus players have some of the best moves in the game, so use your own best
moves to win duels. This match could be harder but thanks to their GK's big
special moves cost, you can win this one quite easily.

                              :::::::::::::::::::::::

After some more scenes, head back to Raimon and talk to Silvia. Go to the River
Bank, go east until the next screen and talk to the 3 old men on the field.
Done? back to the bus. Talk to Lina, after the scene head to Fuji > F. Forest.

    ### Road to Lab ###

This place is like a maze, but not that confusing actually. Go lef to the next
screen, there are 2 ways: west and north, go north. Now it's more complicated,
go east at the 2nd intersection (note that to the north is a G-Mart), go east
again and pick up "Dash Storm" manual. Go back to the previous screen and head
north. Now go west and at the next screen go north and follow the path. Now
you should encounter a person, this person sells you rare Special Moves so
remember this place well. Pick up the treasure here and buy some moves if you
want. Backtrack by going east 2 times.

Now pick the northeast path, at the next screen just follow the path east. At
this screen go down a bit and you shall come across a 4-way intersection. Head
west for now, there's a blue portal here for you to heal FP/TP. Back to the
4-way intersection, go east this time and pick up the 2 treasure chests at the
end of the path. There's a Kit supplier too here if you want to buy any
equipment, now go back to the 4-way intersection and go south. Follow the path
on the next screen by going south.

Now at this screen before you interact with the logs, pick up the treasures
first and then talk to the 3 boys here (heal up first!). Agree to a friendly
against Kirkwood. Remember that this is only 1 period long.

Now go ahead and interact with the sparkling object near the log. After the
scene, Shawn'll become 'perfect' and can no longer switch to his alter ego.

                        *** Important Character Remastered!! ***

Name / Nick : Shawn Froste / Froste
Position / Alt. Pos. : FW / DF / MF
Note : He becomes another godly character after all those
ordeals. Retains his Eternal Blizzard, Aurora Dribble,
and Land Of Ice (all three are awesome moves). You
don't even need to teach him additional Special Moves to
function well anywhere on the pitch. I think it's best
to keep him as a forward (because his last Special Move
is a Shooting Move), but it's good to put him on DF
once in a while (he is originally a DF anyway).

                        ****************************************

Back to bus, talk to Lina. Now to Alius' HQ!

    ### Lab Car Park ###

OK, because you won't be returning here, I'll guide you to all the treasure
chests. Before opening the door, there are 2 treasures on the left and right.
Now go and open the door.

    ### Laboratory GF ###

A little bit dark, wish you have a 'Flash' (if you know what I mean XD). Go
north, once you enter the brighter part of the hall there's a door going right,
ignore it and go north and enter the room there. Pick up the 'Level 1 Card
Key'. Now back outside and go right. Ignore the door down and continue right,
you'll see a lasered path, again ignore for now and continue right until it's
a dead end. Theres a treasure here (Fervour bracelet), pick it up and now go
back and interact with the security switch beside the lasered path, continue.

    ### Laboratory 1F ###

A little bit north and there should be a door right in front of you, open it
and grab the treasure. Now back outside go east and then north, at the end is
another treasure. Now go enter the door going right just below you. Follow
this path and go up, open the red door and pick up the treasure. Now back to
the first intersection of this floor and head left this time.

On your way you'll come across a door, ignore it. At the intersection go east,
enter both doors for a treasure and card key. Back to the previous intersection
and go left. Ignore the door south and open the lasered path and go on
    through.

    ### Laboratory 2F ###

Now go straight, ignore the door to your left. At the intersection go right and
all you way through until the end of the path. Open the chest and talk to the
robot if you want to buy refreshments. Go back to the 4-way intersection and
head north. Ignore the door on the left, a little bit north go east at the
intersection. Pick up the chest, go back and now to the north.

There should be a door right in front of you, DO NOT ENTER IT YET. go left and
heal with the blue portal first. Done? now go ahead and enter that door (might
as well double-check your match formation). After the scene, some robots will
surround you and fight you (with a football match, what else? in this game
everything is solved with football XD). You might want to grab the treasure on
the left first before "fighting" them. Now it's ELIMINATE ELIMINATE time!

                              ::: Match Strategy! :::
                                  vs Robot Guards

Now the fun part: put Darren as GK, Shawn on DF, with Mark and Jude as FW
(no, I'm not kidding). Before doing anything else, make sure to do the
    following:
Work your build up and aim for Jude to finish off with a shot. A scene will
tell you to use Death Zone 2, so use it. An easy goal.

After this point of the game, you can score goals normally (I recommend using
'Megaton Head' at least once to see it). The robots aren't tough at all (they
are a joke actually, I even managed to watch an OWN GOAL scored by their DF's
    backpass @.@").

After half time, it's time to put Shawn on FW and let him have a go with his
new move 'Legendary Wolf' (Yeah, Shawn's moves are all cool looking). This
pathetically easy late game match should be yours to win.

                              :::::::::::::::::::::::

Watch a scene with the detective and coach Hillman cheat their way in by
refusing to play football with the guards and shoving them aside instead ;)
After the scene go north and you'll see the crystal close-up. At the left and
right of this round platform is treasure chests so open them first. Now
interact with the control unit at the center.

Now go out and head right. Use the security switch and go on through the
    used-to-be lasered path.

    ### Laboratory 3F ###

Getting tired? wait until you have to do this while writing a guide X(.
Okay, intersection head left. Door: ignore, then north another door: ignore.
Pick up the chest and go back at the start of this floor and go right.

Follow the path north, look to the left there's a door: enter and pick up
another treasure. Continuing on... Just follow the path and another door, this
time ignore it. A 3-way intersection incoming, north is a dead end so head all
the way left (ignore the 1st door you come across) and enter the leftmost room
for a level 4 card key.

Now enter the previous door, north and then east at the intersection. Grab the
chest and then back to the intersection head left. Save your game, use the blue
portal, and then brace yourself. Follow the path, use the card key. Ready
your formation and make sure you're healed before challenging Genesis.

                              ::: Match Strategy! :::
                                    vs Genesis

Now put Shawn and Mark on FW (Darren GK, obviously). Concentrate on letting
Shawn use Legendary Wolf, since you can't score any goal otherwise. After
the Legendary Wolf there'll be a series of scenes.

The time to score! build up your passes and let Mark pull the final trigger
with The Earth for an automatic goal.

You may be leading 1-0 for now, but at half time Genesis will regain their FP
and TP! If Mark still has enough TP for one more The Earth then let him stay
at forward (because The Earth is an auto goal). Use your strongest moves and
intercept the enemy as soon as they got the ball. Genesis is strong but my
players are somewhat better than them at level 45. Plus they don't have many TP
to burn just like all other Alius teams.

This match could be harder but not really since you have an auto goal. Even if
you somehow can't score more, just defend catenaccio style XD.

                              :::::::::::::::::::::::

Congratulations! now watch the ending... NOT, there's still some more stuff to
do (btw, isn't Bellatrix kinda hot in that movie?).

                               Inazuma Eleven Forever
    =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Go back to Tokyo and to Raimon. Nobody's here? go west and talk to the only
person there. Now exit and go to the hospital. Enter the hospital for a scene.
River bank is next, go to the football field and talk to Smith. After that
head north and talk to the woman by the steps.

Exit, to the Tower you shall go (lol). Talk to Hillman standing near the tower.
Attempt to exit the tower and you'lle be challenged by some Alius henchmen.
BTB (back to bus). Next to Raimon.

Okay, prepare yourself as usual (formation, fully healed, etc). Talk to the
    robed fellows for a match.

                              ::: Match Strategy! :::
                                     vs ? ? ?

...or not really, since they're too easy. Just do your usual routine and you
should win without breaking a sweat. A little note: this match is only one
period long but it's more than enough really.

                              :::::::::::::::::::::::

Surprise, surprise. Now the real *final* match begins!

                              ::: Match Strategy! :::
                                 vs Dark Emperors

Put Mark on his usual role as a GK, use Axel as your main FW (with Shawn
preferably). Now as for those Dark Emperors, they do have crazy stats (just
look at their speed as they glide across the field) and some good moves.

    Now this could be trouble...

BUT they have some glaring weaknesses: one, their GK is from Brainwashing and
he's not tough at all (most of the time he doesn't even use his special moves).
Two, just like their GK most of their players aren't aggressive enough by not
using special moves too often (idk why they do that when they certainly have
    many TP to use).

Just use any strategy that works for you so far and remember to use Special
Moves in each duel (at this point there's no need to hold off in using special
moves, you can always sub out anyone out of TP). Oh and ignore any scenes
during the match, they don't really affect the match in any way.

Not hard at all (quite disappointing for a final match), my score? 5-0.

                              :::::::::::::::::::::::

Congrats, you've finished the game! Enjoy the ending folks.

    ...
    ...
    ...

Done with the ending? now let's enjoy the game to the fullest by playing
post-game (more characters to recruit, more tough matches, less scenes).

    =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
                            3.00 - Post-Game and Secrets
    =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

There's more fun and challenges in post-game, do them in any order you like but
in order to do that, you need to beat the Dark Emperors once again. So now
head back to Raimon and do a match with ??? and Dark Emperors.

Now you'll see an extended version of the ending and all competition routes
    will open.

Below are the secrets you can do in post-game.

    +++ 3.01 - Removing Mark +++
    ----------------------------

No, you cannot dismiss Mark, you can remove him from your match and battle
party, that's all. Now is the right time to have fun and use different GKs
since I bet you're bored looking at Majin The Hand by now.

    +++ 3.02 - Old Pin Badge +++
    ----------------------------

You must've had some in your inventory for awhile now. The thing is they can
be shown (not trade) to a person for some good special moves. Go to Tokyo >
Shopping Area and continue right until you reach a building just right of
the alley: it's Raijin Models. Talk to the guy at the counter and he'll give
you Special Moves when you have certain numbers of badges. The list:

    --- 5 badges: Baby Dragon
    --- 10 badges: Study
    --- 20 badges: Slack Off
    --- 30 badges: Offence Plus
    --- 40 badges: Critical!
    ---

Note that if you want to farm for badges just do Battles, but it's a rare drop
    so be patient.

    +++ 3.03 - Gazelle and Diamond Dust +++
    ---------------------------------------

Remember Gazelle? he's one of Xene's brothers. Now we need to do a series of
things to challenge his team (and eventually recruit him).

First go to Fuji Forest and talk to the cat by the boulder. Next go to the
Shopping Area in Tokyo. Run east until you reach the Shopping Arcade, continue
east and then go south at the intersection and you'll arrive at the Warehouse.
Talk to the kid standing on front of the Warehouse gate. Now go back to Fuji
Forest and Gazelle's there waiting for you, talk to him.

He'll blast the boulder and now you can go through. Go through the Forest Maze
and pick up all treasures there (some rare things around). At the end of the
maze you'll find a football field and Gazelle. Some more treasures around the
field (including the Plain Bracelet, which stops random encounters) and then
talk to Gazelle to challenge Diamond Dust. After you win, you can recruit any
Diamond Dust players, at least recruit Gazelle if you're not that interested
    in others.

    +++ 3.04 - Secret Service Agents +++
    ------------------------------------

Now that you've finished the game, you can recruit any Secret Service agents.
Agent M is a must since she's cute (that's an important factor).

    +++ 3.05 - Scouting Passwords +++
    ---------------------------------

Some players are scouted in a different manner, if you type their name they
won't appear and instead you need to type a certain password when scouting
through Mr. Hillman. Enter the password in the "Name" section in Hillman's
scouting option. These passwords are only for the [EUR] version of this game.

Note: this section is fully provided by Grilate from the GameFaqs board.

These are all of them, as far as I know.

    +++ 3.05 - Special Recruits +++
    -------------------------------

All the hidden special players in the game.

Aurelia Dingle : In the walkthrough
Paul Peabody : In the walkthrough
Horse Jr. : In the walkthrough
    Sagaminator : In the walkthrough

Shadow : After you finished the game once, go to Mary Times and fight
your matches on the top route. After you've defeated the
team 'Card' (Shadow is in that team), go and recruit Night
(Kirkwood) and Feldt (Brainwashing). Next go to the rooftop
of Nara TV Station, go southmost (just hug the building wall)
and check for an item, a 'Shadow Lizard'. Next with Night and
Feldt on your Battle party go to the empty hut at Tokyo >
                     Tower. Shadow should be there.

Kevin : Defeat Raimon A team from Mary Times coach's upper route
tournament. After that go to the south of the football pitch
at River Bank, Kevin is there.

Tod Ironside : Same as Kevin, different place. He is at Naniwa Land, last
                     screen.

Timmy : Same as Kevin, different place. He is at Cloister, on the
                     middle of the pitch.

Silvia * : Same as Kevin, different place. She is at Mark's room(!).

Nelly ** : Same as Kevin, different place. She is at The Tower.

Syon Blaze * : A [Normal] reward from completing the Mary Times' coach
upper path tournament. Scout his name afterwards.

Canon Evans ** : A [Normal] reward from completing the Mary Times' coach
upper path tournament. Scout his name afterwards.

    Celia : See section 3.07 - Tournaments.
    Nathan : See section 3.07 - Tournaments.
    Jim : See section 3.07 - Tournaments.
    Steve : See section 3.07 - Tournaments.
    Sam : See section 3.07 - Tournaments.

Hidetoshi : 1. Get to team level 60 (master) or more.
Nakata *** 2. Have more than 80 friends (that's why I told you not to
                        dismiss anyone).
                     3. Go to Nara > City, inside G-Mart. Talk to a guy about a
                        great footballer going somewhere cold.
                     4. Now to Hokkaido > City. On the bottom-right corner of the
map there's someone that talks about him too.
                     5. Next Tokyo > Station. On front of the train station stands
the man you're looking for, talk to him (he appears
randomly so you may need to exit and reenter).
                     6. Next Kyoto > City. Go inside the G-Mart and talk to the
                        person at bottom-left.
                     7. Continue to Osaka > City. Go east and you should see a
white truck. Talk to the guy in front of it(he appears
randomly too, so you may need to exit and reenter).
                     8. Back to Tokyo > Station, talk to the girl standing where
Nakata was (front of the station).
                     9. Finally go to The Tower. Nakata will be standing near the
lightning symbol (he appears randomly, exit and reenter if
he's not there). Win a battle and he'll join you at level
50! Nakata himself is hard but his teammates are easy so
the easiest way is to man-mark Nakata so that he couldn't
receive any pass. If you should lose, just exit and reenter
                        until he appears again.

    *   Blizzard only.

** Firestorm only (note that I don't play Firestorm so these are based on
research alone, since not many people are interested in contributing).

*** Nakata is obviously a tribute to the Japanese football legend Hidetoshi
Nakata. Famous for his dribbling skill and long-range shots, he was the
best Japanese player in his time. Nakata had a great career in Italy and
managed to win Serie A with AS Roma in 2001. It is said that Nakata opened
the way for Japanese footballers to compete in Europe. Now Japan have a
similar playmaker in the form of Shinji Kagawa, who leads his team Borussia
Dortmund to two consecutive Bundesliga (German League) titles (2011-2012).

    +++ 3.07 - Tournaments +++

Complete the tournaments hosted by Mr. Veteran, Mary Times' coach, Alpine
coach, Hartland's mom, and Warehouse. The rewards are rare players and items,
be warned that this is a challenge on its own. Some of the matches require
certain rules to follow. If your reward is a player, just scout the name
    using Hillman's scouting.

    Mr. Veteran (Bus)

Most of the matches are easy and do not have any added rules. As you might
expect, the hardest to do an S rank is against Zeus since they have good moves

    +++ 4.02 - Special Moves List +++
    ---------------------------------

This list is also contributed by Icesoulkid from the GameFaqs board except the
    Skill section.

Moves are listed in the same TP Order that appears in the game. Also since it
was added to the IE2 specifically I have made sure to listed whether the move
is a +1/+2 skill as Normal or a L1-5 (Mega Move) type as Level.

Furthermore I have included three columns which mention if there are specific
requirements for using certain moves, co-op status and whether the technique
    is Block or Long type.

    >>> A Special Move's strength can be determined by its TP usage.
    >>> Some exceptions are Alius players' natural moves such as Meteor Shower,
Gravitation, Astro Break, etc. They are stronger than other moves with
the same TP. While I don't have data about the actual strength, it's safe
to say that these Alius Moves are about 2x stronger than regular moves.
    >>> Special Moves do not level up at the same pace. Some take way much longer
(number of times used) than others.
    >>> Some Moves are considered 'rough' thus having a much higher foul rate than
regular moves. Most are Royal Academy moves such as Breakthrough, Killer
        Slide, etc.

                               7.00 - Final Thoughts
    =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

First, I must say that writing a guide isn't really as easy as I expected (and
even more so in a game which information in English is hard to obtain). Thus
some parts in this guide (especially the post-game secrets) still need
    improvements.

I made sure that the main walkthrough is complete and did my best in not
letting important things out from it.

Currently I'm not accepting inputs for this guide anymore. True that the FAQ
isn't 100% complete but I don't have time to even play games anymore.

I don't allow this guide to be posted anywhere other than www.Gamefaqs.com, nor
will I approve if you want this to be posted on your site. I don't have time to
register at new places and monitor my guide on different sites, too much work
really. So don't bother asking about it: the answer is NO.

A big thank you to everyone contributing the guide.

    Enjoy the game, cheers.
