Question from Marocksas
Shiny Pokemon breeding?
I just want to know if I were to have a shiny pokemon breed with it's male/female counterpart are the chances of shiny pokemon still 1/8000?
Also what if I have a shiny ditto and shiny pokemon breed, do they produce a shiny or is it still rare?

Shiny does not pass down through breeding.
However if you are trying to breed a shiny you need 1 pokemon from your game and pokemon from an international version (Japanese, Spanish, France, etc) of the same generation you are using. This increases the chances of hatching a shiny pokemon, it is called the Matsuda method.
