POKEMON BLACK/WHITE FATEFUL ENCOUNTER / EVENT ITEM EVENTS FAQ

==============================================================================

==============================================================================

ABOUT THIS FAQ:

==============================================================================

This FAQ is about the events that come about through "Fateful Encounter"
Pokemon; that is: Pokemon that you received through the Nintendo WFC and/or
through Wireless Services.

It also includes events based on Event Items, such as the Liberty Pass.

There was some confusion as to how to import the Pokemon and then where to go
after that, so this FAQ aims to help you out if lost.

The guide will update as more events occur. Please note, however, as I assume
the majority of the GameFAQs readership is within the NTSC-U/PAL region, that
I will only list events that took place in either of those two regions, and
not just those in Japan.

If you have any additional info, comments, questions, suggestions, please
refer to contact info at the end of the FAQ.

Onward!

HOW TO IMPORT SUICUNE/RAIKOU/ENTEI/CELEBI [SREC]

==============================================================================

There is confusion as to how to get the Pokemon that will trigger these events
without completing the events of the story. It is a simple method, and can be
done once the player has reached CASTELIA CITY.

You will also need a second DS system, as well as the game that holds the
four event Pokemon.

Head to the northenmost road in Castelia City (that heads out to the Route 4
gate), and enter the only building on the left.

Go to the 11th Floor using the elevator, and then talk to the man in the
bottom right side of the room.

When he asks you to enter phrases, enter:

"Everyone" "Happy"

And after that:

"Simple" "Connection"

This will give you access to the "Relocator", which will appear on the Pokemon
Black/White main menu.

Now, in the game that has the Fateful Encounter Pokemon you want to transfer,
place the four Pokemon in PC boxes and save. If they are holding items, they
will simply be put in the Trainer Bag for that game, so there should be no
worries about that.

In the Black/White menu, use the Relocator, and follow the instructions. Once
it tells you to, turn on a second DS with your other Pokemon game, but go to
"DS Download and Play" on the menu, and pick the only option there.

Follow the instructions on your DS that has Black/White on it, and the
transfer should happen easily. When this is done, it will save, and now these
four legendaries should be in your Black/White PC boxes!

THE EVENTS [EVNT]

==============================================================================

#494 VICTINI *****************************************************************

Where: Liberty Garden Island (Accessed via a boat from Liberty Dock in
       Castelia City)
Requirements: Liberty Pass

To get Victini, first download the LIBERTY PASS via Nintendo WFC, and get it
from the delivery man at any Pokemon Center.

Head for the further left most dock in Castelia City, (Liberty Dock) and the
boat there will take you to Liberty Garden Island!

There will be some Team Plasma grunts to fight, but make your way around the
straightforward island, fighting the Trainers. When you go inside the
building, heal up from the security guard, and fight your way into the room
at the bottom of the stairs.

In there, you will meet Victini. Simply go up to it and Push "A" to begin the
battle.

If you make it faint, all you have to do is simply exit the room and come back
in for it to reappear.

After the Pokemon is captured, Team Plasma will be gone from the island.

-14th Movie Event-

UPDATE: For those of you who were unable to get the Liberty Pass when the
game first released, there is another event being held now in the PAL/NTSC-U
regions from December 3rd to the 31st.

Simply access the Nintendo Wi-Fi on these dates to get a LV 50 Victini.

for Victini only through this distribution.

#570 ZORUA *******************************************************************

Where: Castelia City - GameFreak Building
Requirements: Fateful Encounter Celebi

You will need the Fateful Encounter Celebi in your party, one that has not
been used for the same event on another version of the game.*

In Castelia City, enter the GameFreak building (on Castelia Street, buidling
on the right and closest to the bottom).

Simply talk to the two people (the one on the left specifically), and the
event will play out on it's own. There is no Pokemon battle, and you get
to put Zorua in a ball of your choice!

However, they would have to have not done this event on a different version
of the game before.*

On Route 16 (exiting Nimbasa City to the east), make your way into Lostlorn
Forest (through the bushes going north).

Simply head north into the more open area, and the event will play itself. You
will then be in a battle, and have to capture/faint the Pokemon!

How you can help:

Apparently the same event Pokemon cannot be used twice in different games and
their events. For instance, a Celebi used to get Zoroa will not work if traded
to another game after the Zoroa event. The same apparently applies to Entei,
Raikou, and Suicune.

This is based on findings of someone who emailed me a concern, and I hope more
people can test this theory so I may include it in the FAQ.

This is a relatively minor FAQ for the sake of clarity, and I intend to update
it as time goes on and possibly more events come.

I may be doing a Legendary Pokemon FAQ, and that will detail more in-depth
capturing/battling the Legendary Pokemon in this game.

If you have any questions, comments, suggestions, or find even the smallest
mistake such as a typo, please email me at my address below! I would
appreciate it.

That said,

Thanks for reading!
