Game Sync has run out of energy (with out me using it!) WHY?

OK so the pokemon global link has been out for awhile now, I was able to make an account Tuesday even though it officially opened up on Wednesday (I think it was a time zone thing). So on Tuesday I tried using the game sync on the C gear but the game told me it had run out of energy. So I tried the next day.... same thing. It is now Thursday and has been well over 24 hours, still I can't get on because it has run out of energy. Anyone else have this problem and/or possible solutions?

Have you been messing with the clock on your DS? Or have you been switching DS'es? Both of these will mess you up.
