"Slide That Thing"
Kirby Slide is an e-Reader game that was given out in Nintendo Power and Tips & Tricks magazine. It was a game that was given out to promote the e-Reader and they did a pretty good job for a promotional game. The main point of the game was to put all of the blocks in the correct order.
This is what this game is all about. All it is is just building the blocks together so they would combine to form an image of Kirby. Although it's just your simple sliding mini-game, it's pretty addictive. The game consists of 8 blocks which you must put them in their corresponding place to win. After you completed making the picture, the game asks you if you want to try again. It's fun trying to see how fast you can beat it since you get better every time you play.
This game has some pretty great graphics for an e-Reader game. Each tile of Kirby looks almost exactly how the real one is supposed to look. This game doesn't have much to show, but what it does show is excellent. Even the actual card looks good.
The sound sounds nice in this game. The sound effects matches the game which makes it sound good. The music and sounds do tend to get repetitive, but only if you play this too much.
Setting up 8 different blocks in perfect order isn't really that hard. You could beat it in a couple of seconds or minutes. It would've been nice if there was a harder difficulty but I'm not complaining.
This game can be played as much as you like since it's just a simple puzzle game. Although it's not that game where you want to play it forever, it's nice to play this game once in a while to test your brain. Even if there are more challenging puzzles out there, this is just fun.
Final Recommendation: 9/10
It's a pretty good game for a pretty cheap price. If you have an e-Reader, you should consider looking out for this game. It's not that rare so it's easy to find this game. Just ask one of your friends to see if they might have it or look online if you have to. If your not a fan of puzzles, then this is not the game for you but if you like puzzles, then you should check it out.
