What's the best game of all time? The one that you couldn't put down? The one that your played the longest? The one that you beat the quickest? The one with the best graphics? The one made by your favorite company?

The users of GameFAQs have nominated 64 of the best games of all time, and it's time to let them battle it out. Starting April 2nd, a 64-game winner-take-all tournament will begin, using the Poll of the Day, and at the end of it all, we will have our answer. Perhaps not a definitive answer, but an answer nonetheless.

Your task, should you dare to even try, is to get into the heads of the hundreds of thousands of GameFAQs visitors and try to guess in advance what games they will pick as the best of all time. The 64 games are split into four divisions: Division 8, covering from the beginnings of video game history through the 8-bit generation; Division 16, featuring games from the early 1990's as the 16-bit consoles reigned supreme; Division 32-64, introducing the 32 and 64 bit consoles, as well as modern computer gaming; and Division 128, featuring the current generation of gaming hardware. The 64 games will be paired off against one another in the Poll of the Day in a single-elimination tournament until a single champion is crowned.

For the first round of 32 polls, picking the correct game that wins that day's poll will score one point. For each successive round, picking the winner will earn double the points of the round before (Round 2: 2 points, Round 3: 4 points, Round 4: 8 points, Semifinals: 16 points, Finals: 32 points).
