GameFAQs Help: Submitting Your Guide
How do I submit my FAQ to GameFAQs?
In order to submit a FAQ to GameFAQs, simply register, log in, and submit your FAQ online at Contributor Central.
How do I use the online FAQ upload page?
Once you've registered as a GameFAQs user, simply
go to Contributor Central and select "Submit a File". You can select to update one of your existing guides from a drop-down list and include extra notes for GameFAQs with your file. You'll also receive confirmation that your file was uploaded successfully, making this the best and easiest way to send your FAQs to GameFAQs.
Why can't I send my FAQ via e-mail?
E-Mail isn't a very reliable method of sending files, and there's no way to ensure that the person submitting the file is who they say they are.
How can I make sure you got my FAQ?
If you use the FAQ Upload page, then you're given a confirmation message
telling you how large your upload was. You can then check your Contributor Status page check on its status.
Should I compress (ZIP) my FAQ before submitting it?
We recommend that you only compress your file if your file is so large (several MB in size) that the online submission form returns an error or otherwise does not work properly. Otherwise, we have to manually download and unzip your file before checking it.
