Top 10 Lists: The Top 10 Crazy People/Psychopaths (SPOILERS)

We all know them. Some love them, some hate them. Some just creep you right the hell out. They're the weirdo's, Psycho's. and overall crazy men, women, and creatures in gaming. Whether its that insane laugh or the "Take over the world" mentality, you know them when you see them. These are the ones that just arent quite right in the head, whether they're flat out insane or maybe just a little off, here are the top ten psychopaths in gaming.

While some may disagree he's a COMPLETE psychopath, Bowser is still a pretty crazy dino. TIme after time he kidnaps the princess. In almost every single game he has the exact same overall plan, with just a slight twist. And every time Mario defeats him effortlessly. Yet, as if programmed to do so, he just wont stop. He's crazy in the sense that, even though he will NEVER win, he simply continues to try the exact same plan, only to be thwarted yet again. But unlike others on this list, he actually has a motive, which is why he's only number 10.

This eight headed dragon is one menacing figure, believe me. Within five minutes of being summoned accidentally, Orochi manages to cause more mayhem then most people on this list. He covers the world in darkness, much like a certain someone else on this list, fills it with monsters and makes it his own personal demonic playground. Why? Just because. The game never completely reveals why he's doing it. He just... Is. He's simply a being of so much PURE evil that he does it just to do it. On top of all that, apparently Orochi is a raging alcoholic. How do find this out? You beat him half way through the game using LIQOUR. This alone earns him the number nine spot.

Many are probably wondering; Of all the crazy people in the street fighter universe, why Vega? Because Vega is just flat out crazier then the rest. Vega was raised in wealth, but what a crazy life he had right from the start. His step father killed his mother simply because she "didn't respect him," and then Vega, just as a kid, killed him right back out of vengeance. This traumatized him, leading to split personalities, one a noble gentlemen, andother a crazy murderer. Vega's mental state is extremely fragile. As insane as he is, he hoplds an extremely narcissistic view of himself, always obsessed with his own beauty.

The first time you look at this guy, something just tells you he's insane. Maybe its that creepy helmet, maybe its the maniacal laugh. No? Maybe its the fact that he engulfed all of hyrule in a twilight filled with deadly monsters, all simply because Ganon, posing as a god, "told him to." HIs insantiy really comes to fruition during his boss battle, as he warps all around dual wielding swords, screaming bloody murder while he tries to gut you like a fish.

Where do you even start with Voldo? You don't even NEED to consider his backstory. Simply from gameplay its extremely apparent he has, in the most literal sense possible, lost his mind. He wears bondage clothing, sports what are pretty much blender blades on both hands as a weapon, crawls around on all four legs like a crab, writhing around on the floor like a fish out of water, and he kicks ass while doing it. Voldo is obviously twisted, and it doesn't take knowing his backstory to tell.

While being good in Fable makes your character a sweet, caring, do gooder, being evil... Well, being evil truly makes you crazy. As an evil character you'll burn down villages, kill innocent bystanders, sacrifice your wives and abandon your family. You eventually become pure psycho. The difference between this character and the rest on this list is the psycho is YOU!

Not the polygon Andross, mind you. No, we're talking about the giant floating monkey head/robot. Andross is a classic example of good intentions gone bad. He started out a great and honored scientest, respected by the galaxy for his beneficial experiments. Long story short, he soon developed a braver, more insane mentality. His experiments became increasingly dangerous, and when he blew up a portion of corneria city, he was banished to the planet Venom, where they assumed he would die. But die he certaintly DID NOT. He slowly was driven to madness, preforming experiments on HIMSELF, and soon enough he was only a twisted shell of the man he once was. He discovered life on Venom, formed an army, and declared war on the lylat system. He went from only wanting to protect the system, to wanting to conquer, to wanting to destroy it. His insanity drove him to delusions of grandeur, and this is what drove him to start the war. Thats why he lands his spot at number 4.

Psycho Mantis was an automatic shoo in for this list. I mean, his name even has the word psycho in it. Mantis is one crazy guy, too. Growing up without a mother, and his father hating him, he lived a rough early life. That is, until he read his fathers mind, realized he hated him, the burnt down his entire village, killing everyone in it using psychic powers. The worst part is, this is only the BEGINNING of what makes him insane. One day he read the mind of a serial killer, but he dug a little too deep. He adopted the personality of this killer. What happened next is obvious; He became a psychopathic killer. This is why he ranks in the top 3, plus his boss battle is likely to drive YOU insane too.

Did anyone NOT see this coming? FInal Fantasy VII is on a lot of lists, including mine, but for good reason. Sephiroth is the DEFINTION of an insane killer. Sephiroth led a military life (RED FLAG), battling his way FAR up the ranks in SOLDIER. He became the best of the best at being the ultimate killing machine (RED FLAG). Too bad he wasn't born, he was made. It is with this revelation that Sephiroth finally snaps. He goes on a rampage, destroying Clouds entire home town and killing almost everyone in it, before going on a quest to - you guessed it - destroy the world. (RED FLAG)

Tingle. Tingle, Tingle.... TINGLE. If the name doesn't ring a bell, look him up. Simply viewing a picture of him will no doubt make you realize why he's on this list. Tingle is a 35 year old man who wears green tights, because he believes he is a forest child like link. He stands around selling maps to make a living, while he waits for a fairy to come and befriend him. Tingle is the ultimate cross between peter pan and a child molester, he's just that creepy. His insanity knows no bounds. For transportation, what does he do? Floats around on a baloon. Of course. Worst of all, later in the Zelda series Tingle becomes a narcissistic, money whoring bastard who does nothing more but annoy you and drain your precious rupees. Tingle is not only a psychopath, he's a douchebag, and thats why he lands the number 1 spot.

Well, there you have it. From the oh so very slightly off characters to the flat out psycho's. We went from persistance to "I'm going to wear green tights and wait for my fairy!" Whether you love to see them or just want them dead, those are the top ten psychopaths in gaming.
