Although the game is flawed in terms of quality, there was something I found I in this game the makes it worth mentioning: the extremely creative plant involving puzzles. At the beginning, the puzzles are only to be used for getting bonus features. But towards the second half the puzzles become required, and it starts becoming unique. In order to get them to work one most find a seed, then obtain a coin with the corresponding plant you want to grow with it. Although it sounds simple, it's the way the puzzles are used in the game that makes it worthwhile. You can use them reach places where you normally couldn't before, and then find more coins that are even better than the last, and so forth. After you collect enough you can find the berry you were looking for and then cause some serious damage. Its a fun idea while it lasts and should have been used in more games.

Disney's highly praised MMORPG, simply because Disney can. Although put off by many for mistaking it as a children's game, this is widely considered a game for all ages. Fans of the genre and fans of Disney will both find something to like. Fans of both will be will all so pleased. There are so many features and value to this game, that you'll be becoming back for more.

Considered "A Pleasant Surprise" by many. And it was. The game had an extremely atmospheric feeling to it. It sort of reminds me of Jak II in way, even tough it came out before it, so that's a very cool feat. The graphics and framerate are very smooth, and the powerful music still sticks in my head. Very simple and varied gameplay. Definately worth picking up for anyone who enjoyed the movie. One of the best direct movie based games in years.

A surprise. A true surprise. Who would have thought that a game based on the Disney Channel's hit show about a teenage girl spy could have been one of the GBA's best action titles. The game is the complete package. Think of it as Castlevania disguised as a cheerful jumpy cartoon. It's said that it's only real flaw is that it can be too intense for it's target audience. If you ask me, that's more of a plus than a flaw since most gamers crave intensity, but hey, that's just me.

Haha. A perfect example of Disney's creativeness. Probably after the success of Kingdom Hearts, Disney decided to see if they could conquer another genre: Skateboarding. And who else should they contact than Activision themselves, publisher of the Tony Hawk series. Activison decided to take the engine of THPS4, their latest game, and make it look like something that came right out of the Disney studios. It's amazing how well it worked. Toy Story, Lion King, and every Disney movie you could want has been transformed into a skatepark. All the tricks and everything are intact, and voiceovers sound just like the actual Disney characters. Awesome.

This game has obviously had "cult classic" written all over it, which can be easily determined by looking at it's review section at this site. It was the first Disney game to actually have Disney animators work on it, with The Lion King following it soon afterward. The game took some very obvious knocks at Super Mario Bros, which in my book is actually considered a good thing. The game had some flaws, like missing voiceovers and a small replayablity, but it set a standard for more games to come, and for that, it deserves this place.

Classic. Just a classic. I remember every other house I would go to that owned a SNES had a copy of this game somewhere in there collection. In the days of side-scrolling classics like Sonic the Hedgehog, MQsMM stood well on it's own. The game was designed by legend developer Capcom, and they managed to make one of the best fantasy adventure games of all time. Where else could you fight giant spiders, fly across giant skies, and climb giant trees in just once sitting. It was a giant game.

Need I say more? Although not a direct transition from any movie, it's still today considered amazing in terms of it's creativity and vision. They captured all the feelings and atmosphere of the movies like Nightmare Before Christmas and reminded us why we loved the movies. A surprising note: Disney contacted Square with the idea, proving that they do have an awful lot of attention for their videogame media.

A slightly underrated side-scrolling adventure. Back when I first had gotten my PS and had began to continously rent game after game, my brother and I had finally ran I across a game we both found enjoyable, and thus it became our first bought PS game. Reason being: It was the most solid side scrolling game available at the time. The game had came out in 1997, when 3D platformers like Crash Bandicoot and Super Mario 64 dominated the market. Developers slowly started forgetting about the good-old days of Mario Bros. However, Virgin Interactive, developers of the already praised The Lion King (SNES) and Aladdin (SNES), decided to take another whack at the genre, and hit a home run. This game has seriously everything from the movie but is dragged down by such simple flaws like the difficulty.

This game was so good, it was actually considered by some of the best movies based games ever. In this game you play as Simba through the ages. The game held true to the same animations and designs of the movie, something we didn't see very often back then. The game was complete with an awesome array of shinning colors, high quality voiceacting, and the same music from the movie. The game was very lengthy and had a satisfying difficulity. The best part though: It was fun. It had loads of creative puzzels and nicely made platforming levels.
