"Classic"

Welcome to the world of Pokemon! Your journey will begin in Pallet Town. And that's all I'm gonna say, Don't wanna spoil it for you!

Pokemon:10/10

Are you serious?! The Pokemon of this game are amazing!! Catching new Pokemon, raising them is just pure greatness! Your starters are great for just battling. You will choose between Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle. What a hard choice, huh? Well it's not as hard as you think. Just pick the Pokemon that you think that suits you.

Graphics:7/10

Back then, in 1998, you would have thought theses were great graphics. But now, there poor. That's why I rated it a 7/10. Also, the battles have horrid graphics. Even in 1998 people were terrified of the graphics. But it doesn't determine the whole game.

Sound:9/10

The sound is great in this game. The overall process of moving to one city to another makes it awesome, because of the new music that every town has. But when you start getting into the game and start being good at it. It becomes fun.

Challenge:10/10

This is a good challenge for people who feel like they can do anything. Even beat a Gym Leader with one Pokemon. Anyways, it seems like the challenge of this game is very touching. The more you play the game. You see that the trainers and Gym Leaders are getting harder and harder to beat.

Training:9.5/10

The Training is also a great part of the game. Pokemon Red is a Pokemon game where you have to train very hard. Training your Pokemon to level 100 is so hard and long, but once you get there, there is a lot of blood rushing threw your veins. You feel you have trained the best Pokemon there can be. And, you feel like a Pokemon Master.

Conclusion

BUY THIS GAME. It's great for a long summer or after you have worked hard all day long and you feel like that you can just sit down, relax and play your gameboy.

Rent or Buy: Buy!!!
