Review by The Ripper

"Dwelling in mediocrity for all to poke fun at."

I like this game quite a lot, and as I am addicted to game boy wrestling games, this is one of my favorites. I suggest you buy it. This is where I usually plug my reviews for other reviews I've done. If it's a wrestling game for Game Boy or Game Boy Color, I've reviewed it. I find that it makes great entertainment, and a great conversation piece at parties. *note: if for some reason you use my recaps as conversation pieces at parties you have either really lame parties, no life, or idolize me. If you idolize me let me know and I'll send over a signed photo*
And now with little ado onto the review.
GRAPHICS: 7
The characters are nice and big. They are extremely detailed and you can tell them apart easily. The view of the ring and the crowd are decent enough. This is actually one of the strong points of the game, maybe the only one, since it's otherwise mediocre.
SOUND: 5
As you all probably know if you read my other reviews (If you don't why not? Shame on you!) that I don't listen to the music too often. All 5 wrestlers have entrance themes for them that sound as good as they can on Game Boy.
GAMEPLAY: 7
Great for what it is. This is the very first wrestling game for game boy, and surprisingly it plays pretty smoothly. You can be ''Macho King of Slim Jim land'' Randy Savage, Hulk ''the Orange Goblin'' Hogan, The Ultimate ''grappleitarian'' Warrior, Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig and ''The Million Dollar Man'' Ted DiBiase. All you can do is play the championship mode where you face everybody. It's not really worth winning, you'll find out why when you beat the game, but the ending is pointless. You can only do a couple moves, but they're easy to do, and you can do plenty on the ground.
REPLAY: 5
It's sort of fun for car rides and stuff when you have nothing to do. The game link mode is awesome, so if you find it try to buy two so you can play it with a friend, you won't regret it.
OVERALL: 5
Get it for the link mode, if it's cheap or you really like Ted DiBiase. (If so buy his book, it's pretty good, it's called ''Every Man Has His Price'') Not much left to say, so goodbye and read my other reviews!
