"007: A Classic in its Day"

James Bond 007 was, and still is a great Game Boy game. You do not have to like James Bond in order to get the fun out of this game, it's just good in itself. If you want a decent game that will keep you going for hours, this is your game.

Gameplay:
One word, excellent. The controls and the concept of the layout are excellent for this mode of play. To access your inventory containing accessories and weapons you simply hit select. From there, you have two options. You can have an accessory or weapon set for the B button, or if you prefer it for the A button. For instance, if you want your Pistol set for the A button, and your Light Vest equipped to the B button you can do so, or you can reverse it. It's quite simple once playing. This game is free roam, you can walk and talk to whomever you feel. The enemies are detailed. If you look closely you can see their weapons and uniforms. The missions range in difficulty. Some are very easy to complete, and others will take you longer. You cannot run through the game in one day, which brings me to the next great feature of the game. You can save up to 3 files of gameplay on your cartridge. This eliminates 20 hours of gameplay without turning off your Game Boy. This feature is excellent for this particular game, because as I noted earlier, you cannot beat it in one day.

Music:
Your average Game Boy sound I'd say. When you first power up your Game Boy, the famous Bond jingle arises. From then on, through each country you travel through, the music changes. I'd say that's good enough for me because it didn't make me want to lower my volume. When you shoot your weapons, it makes a sound, and when you equip something it makes a sound as well. Not much else I can say.

Buy or Rent?
Buy, it shouldn't cost you any more then 10 bucks on ebay, so I think it's worth the money. Rent? I doubt your local video store would have it.

Verdict:
Buy the game, you will be satisfied.
