"One of the best games on Gameboy!"

Sound 10/10
The sound rules in this game. There is a different song in each level. It has the classic sound when you lose. It is one of the best sounding games I have played on Gameboy. You can hear different things. It has a good soundtrack to it. I wouldn't want to listen to it on a radio but, It has a good soundtrack for a game.

Graphics 10/10
The games graphics are the classic Donkey Kong type. It is a 2D side scrolling game that gives you the 3D feel. All the enemies look great. The levels with water look great also. Every single level looks like it was a direct port of a game in the DKC version with a few slight changes. The barrels still look the same. The levels with snow looked like there was really ice and snow. One of the best parts of this game are the graphics.

Gameplay 10/10
The gamepay rocks from level 1 to level 30! This has one of the best gameplay systems I have seen. You can buy info about the next level at the sheepy shop. You can save your game also. It has tons of minilevels like bash the baddies and collect the stars. You can still be the swordfish and the bird, elephant. There all here. Only this time you are the animal. You don't ride them. And your monkey friend is not following you. You have to press select to see him or her. It has the classic mine cart level- converted to a sledding level. It also has challenge. Some levels are hard and some are easy. If you want an action/adventure game buy DKL 3.
