Beavis and Butt-head

"The Name of this game says it all"

INTRO
MTV 's crazy duo visit the hand held game boy system. I am surprised that these two popular clowns have had very little success in the video game industry. Not only that even today with all these great console systems out none has made an effort to buy the rights to them and make a video game out of them. Sure beats me. Is the licencing fee that expensive that nobody wants to touch them? I have no idea, but I love them. I had to go way back and buy me a used copy of an old 90 's game of them.

GAME PLAY
This is not really the strong part of this game, but never less is just plain simple fun. Nothing to brag about, just easy controls, and your basic collect an item and bring it back to the person that wants it. It's a small world map, so it's impossible to get lost. This game is unique, cause it has the game play for children, and the story is more for adults. So you go figure it out. The story is just like you see on MTV, crazy, bizarre, and silly humor. Beavis and Butt-head do stupid things and seem to get into the same trouble over and over again. They never learn their lesson. I guess that's what makes them funny, in their own warped way. You have a few weapons at your disposal, but not much. Your enemies are people walking around which you need to dodge, and some small animals here and there, they easy to avoid. I liked the story; it brought back memories of episodes from the MTV world.

APPEARANCE
This part is really good, the graphics are super, and I loved them. Beavis and Butt-head look so dam good. Even they're funny sidekicks, schoolteacher, and Tod, look like they do on TV. Can't complain here, for back in the day its top-notch graphics for our buddies. The sound that is a horror story. I play games without sound, but one day when I tried to listen to it out of curiosity, I regret it. Lets just say you better off with the mute button in this case

OVERALL
Don't know what else to say. Lets leave it at if you love this type of clownish behavior from a video game point of view, then this is for you 100%. If you think they should stay in the TV land, then that's your opinion. If you just hate these two guys all together, then you have no business playing them. I loved this game, and have played it over and over again. It is not long; then again most game boy games are not. Maybe one to two hours, depends if you want to go wondering around in the game other wise, you stick to your basics one-hour. To all you Beavis and Butt-head fans, enjoy!
