"The crime-smashing cyborg is handheld now!"

Robocop is a 1 player side scrolling shooter.

Now I've been a huge Robocop fan since I was in diapers. I've seen all movies, both series, and the cartoon. Now its been kinda of a dream to be him minus being killed and now my prayers have been answer by this game. (ya right.....)
Well enough of me ranting....onward with this review............

Controls: 10
The controls are simple and easy to use. Just shoot jump and move from side to side shooting stuff. BTW jumping is almost pointless in this game......

Sounds: 4
What sounds? The only sounds you get from this game is music but even that is horrible. All the music has a glitchy tone to it which makes it horrible. I just can say much about this category.......

Graphics: 4
Well what would you expect from an old game boy game? The graphics are horrible......its hard to describe it but the best way to put it is that its very blocky like........moving on......

Game Play: 2
This is the lowest category of the game. The whole point of the game is to get from point A to B under a timer. Shoot bad guys along the way and collect power ups that hardly last long enough to help you. You get 3 lives and 3 continues and as you reach the last few levels it is almost impossible to complete. And once you do you win (duh) and nothing else but sends you right back to the title to restart at level 1.
There is no replay value in this game what so ever. No secrets and unlockables. NOTHING! As a Robocop fan I'm disappointed. This game probably lasts about 1-2 hrs max. Afterwards you just wanna put it down and never pick it up again.

Story: 10
The story is that of the first movie which is my favorite movie of all time!
You've just been killed by a group of criminals and now your rebuilt into a cyborg. You start to regain past memories that haunt you and now your looking for the group of criminals that killed you to exact your revenge and pieces of your past to find out who you once were.

Buy or Rent:
If your a big Robocop fan (like me) buy it. If not, try and find a friend who has it and try it out.
This game was a disappointment for me as a Robocop fan, but I got a little moment of glory.
