"Street Fighter 2 that is this good on this old system?"

Well for starters, this game is really old. Usually, fighting games made this early aren't very good for this system. But when I started playing this version of Street Fighter 2, the results astounded me.

Graphics: 10

These are probably the best graphics on the game boy for a fighting game. M. Bison looks like M. Bison. Ryu looks like Ryu. The backgrounds are very detailed and look extremely great. The special moves look okay I guess. The characters are large and have nice detail.

Sound: 10

Well what else do you expect from Street Fighter 2? The sound effects are good. The music is probably some of the best in a videogame ever. The music sounds like the arcade. Before I play a game, I go to the sound test to listen to some of the songs. It's too bad that they couldn't put speech in this game. Well, it's the gameboy so it's okay(I always say the sounds in my head).

Control: 9

Since there are only two face buttons, one button is for punch and one for kick. But depending on how hard you touch the button it can be a heavy, light, or medium attack. The special moves are simple to pull off for every character. Control wise, this game is great.

Gameplay: 8

This game has nine characters but Dhalsim and E. Honda are missing. Sagat, Balrog, and M. Bison are selectable which is fine with me (Even though I like Dhalsim). This game has a normal game, survival, versus, and options. In options, you can choose difficulty, turn the timer off, and there is a sound test. Though this game kind of slow, it doesn't bother me that much. But sometimes, the game freezes so it's kind of annoying.

This game is really fun. I like it a lot. I'll be playing this for a long time. I just wish I could play versus someone.

Buy or Rent?

Seeing as you can't rent gameboy games, this is a buy. Even if you could rent it, you would want to buy it.
