"Stay away from this terrible racing game!"

Sometimes I make the stupid decisions in life. Getting a game.com was one of them. I still cringe over getting Indy 500, too. I think it is one of the worst games I have ever played. If you were suckered into getting a game.com, avoid Indy 500 at al costs.

Graphics: 2/10

Ok, I still can't figure out why the makers of Indy 500 didn't work on the graphics. I cut the makers a wee bit slack, but the cars were poorly drawn. You can select three different cars with different attributes. That sounds good, but all the cars look the same! Jeez, what makes it worst is that there is one track in the game, and it's basically an oval track that you go around ten times. The makers of this game should have worried about the car your playing in, and not the opponent's car.

Music/Sound: 1/10

Indy 500 hardly gives you any sound. At least they could put some effort into the crashes :). Even the pitstops and the announcer sound corny. Plus, when you qualify, there isn't any sound. This is must for any good racing game to have.

Replay Value: 2/10

Once you beat this easy game on hard mode, you will want to slam your head against your wall about twenty times for each lap. It won't give you any cheats if you win, so there is no point of playing it again and again. Once you win all the races, the game is pretty much useless. It doesn't make a good paperweight either.

Gameplay: 3/10

This is the best part of the game (and that's not saying much). The game doesn't run very smoothly, and it slows down when you crash. You have to wait about thirty seconds to start back up. Choppy graphics and the fact you don't have much room to ride around the track makes this game pure crap.

Overall: 2/10

I don't know what the makers of this game where thinking. This is the complete opposite of a good racing game. With limited riding space and terrible graphics, it isn't even worth to rent this pathetic game. To make one positive note, there are worst game.com games out there.
