    The purpose of this guide is to instruct the function and location of the
    weapons in the game Resident Evil. Hopefully this guide will tell you how
    to use the weapons wisely and defeat the enemies that you encounter.

    Section 4. Location of weapons
    
    1.Knife
    
    It's located in 2 areas. Billy starts out with one in his inventory. The other
    knife is located in cabin 202, on the floor. To get in to the cabin you climb
    on to the roof using the hook shoot, and jump through the hole in the roof.
    
    2. Billy's handgun
    
    This weapon is located in Billy's inventory and it is equipped when you first
    meet him, and it can be upgraded.
    
    3. Rebecca's handgun
    
    This weapon is located in Rebecca's inventory and it's equipped when you start
    the game, this can be upgraded.
    
    4. Hunting gun
    
    This weapon is located in the cabin 101 on the top floor of the train after
    the bar area.
    
    5. Shotgun
    
    This weapon is located in the statue room in the training facility, it
    is found where the incomplete statue of evil is located next to some gasoline.
    
    6. Grenade launcher
    
    this weapon is located  in the room past the area that you fight the giant
    centipede next to the water room, it can hold 3 types of ammo.
    
    7. Molotov cocktail
    
    This weapon is found every where in the game, you make this weapon by finding
    glass bottles and the gas cans and combining them.
    
    8. Billy's custom handgun
    
    This weapon is made when you combine the handgun parts from the case found in
    the locker where you first fight the hunters. The code for the case
    is 385.
    
    9. Rebecca's custom handgun
    
    This weapon is made when you combine the handgun parts from the case found in
    the locker in the room where you first fight the hunters. The code for the
    case is 385.
    
    10. Magnum
    
    This weapon is found in the rail car in the laboratory area, it is next to the
    dead man on the bench. (Don't worry he wont come to life.)
    
    11. Sub machinegun
    
    This weapon is earned when you complete the game and get an A ranking, it will
    be in Billyís inventory when you start a new game.
    
    12. Magnum revolver
    
    This weapon is earned when you collect 91-99 leeches in the leech hunter mini
    game. It is found next to the dead man on the train in the room next to the
    first save room.
    
    13. Rocket launcher
    
    This weapon is earned when you complete the game and get an S ranking. It is
    Rebecca's inventory in the start of the game.

    Section 5. Weapon classes
    
    
    Class 1. Crappy but free
    
    Knife
    				
    Why it is in this class? It is very weak but uses no ammo.
    
    Class 2. Standard
    
    Billy's handgun
    Rebecca's handgun
    
    Why? They are basic, ammo is plentiful, can kill and enemy fairly well.
    
    Class 3. Advanced
    
    Hunting gun
    Shotgun
    Custom handgun
    Normal grenade launcher
    
    Why? They are strong enough to down an enemy in a few hits and have higher
    decapitation rates on zombies than standard weapons, ammo is not too hard to
    find, good stuff.
    						
    Class 4. Powerful
    
    Magnum
    Flame grenade launcher
    Acid grenade launcher
    Molotov cocktails
    Sub machinegun
    
    Why? These weapons are very strong and they will kill pretty much any normal
    enemy in 1 or 2 hits,(5 seconds of bullets from machinegun). Ammo is rare.
    
    Class 5. Omega
    
    Magnum revolver
    Rocket launcher
    
    Why? These 2 weapons will kill any thing in 1 hit, except the queen leech for

    This will tell in detail what a weapon is, does and how to use it effectively.
    
    
    1. Knife
    
    The knife, the weapon that is in all main Resident Evil games. the knife is a
    weapon of last resort. The knife is usually only useful in a situation when a
    zombie is laying on the ground and needs to be killed when you are out of ammo.
    The knife is a weapon that can't kill a boss unless you use an insane amount
    of stabs. Only use the knife if you have to and have run out of ammo.

    2.Billy's handgun
    
    The handgun is a weapon that is in all resident evil games. the handgun is a
    weapon that can do some damage but is nothing to brag about. The ammo for this
    weapon is in surplus there is a lot of it. This weapon is to be used on weaker
    creatures such as zombies and dogs. It is possible to take out a hunter or a
    bug with one, but you might not want to take the risk in getting killed. This
    weapon can be upgraded. Billy's handgun is slightly more powerful than
    Rebecca's.

    3.Rebecca's handgun
    
    The handgun is a weapon that is in all resident evil games. the handgun is a
    weapon that can do some damage but is nothing to brag about. The ammo for this
    weapon is in surplus there is a lot of it. This weapon is to be used on weaker
    creatures such as zombies and dogs. It is possible to take out a hunter or a
    bug with one, but you might not want to take the risk in getting killed. This
    weapon can be upgraded. Rebecca's handgun is slightly less powerful than
    Billy's.

    4. Hunting gun
    
    Now you get a taste of the shotgun family. The hunting gun is a moderately
    powerful weapon that can help you kill enemies fast. The Hunting gun does not
    use ammo wisely, it can hold only 2 shots before a reload. To counteract this
    problem fire 2 shots then go to your inventory screen and reload. This weapon
    can decapitate a zombie fairly easy, to do so just wait for a zombie to get
    close, aim up, and blast away. This weapon is good in the train and early
    parts of the game, but when the real shotgun is found this weapon should be
    discarded. It is an ok weapon.

    5. Shotgun
    
    Now you are ready to kill. This shotgun is much better than the Hunting gun.
    With this shotgun you will be able to take down hordes of zombies with not
    much effort. Some of the improvements over the Hunting gun are... The spread is
    much larger and more effective, it can hold 7 shots instead of 2, it fires
    faster, it has a higher decapitation rate. So as you can see this weapon is
    much better than the Hunting gun. When using the shotgun you really don't have
    to aim, just point in the general direction of an enemy and fire away. This is
    also a forgivable weapon against bosses. But a warning, the farther away the
    enemy the less damage it does so you have to master the skill of getting close
     but not eaten. ^_^

    6. Grenade launcher
    
    Finally a weapon that can use multiple types of ammo. This weapon is unique
    because of the ability to use 3 types of ammo, Acid, Fire, Explosive. Sounds
    fun right, right it is. This weapon can be used in many different ways, for
    blowing apart zombies, for torching humanoid leeches, and for corroding hunters.
    When using this weapon be sure to use the correct type of ammo so you can save
    it for the correct enemy. The ammo it uses has different effects on different
    creatures. Ammo is rare so try not to use it on every thing that you come
    across. Save the flame rounds for the leech men and the acid for hunters and
    bugs. This weapon is a great powerhouse overall, With 3 types of rounds,
    strategy is a must.

    7. Molotov cocktails
    
    A newbie to the world of Resident Evil. This weapon has made an impact in the
    power and speed department. This is to be used in many situations, like on
    zombies and bosses, but the best application is on a leech man because the
    fire is it's weakness. This is made by combining the glass bottles with the gas
    cans. These are found all over in the game. Their appearance might be
    unconvincing, but they pack a punch. Words of wisdom, when a leech comes your
    way, burn them away.

    8. Billy's custom handgun
    
    This weapon is in all aspects the same as the handgun expect for a few things.
    The main reason is that is faster, due to the new sliding bridge that is
    installed, the second thing is that it has much better accuracy for not only
    targeting enemies faster and keeping track of them but to get a better shot on
    the enemies weak spots. It is also better on ammo. Once again Billy's custom
    handgun is better than Rebecca's.

    10. Magnum
    
    The hand cannon. It just wouldn't be Resident Evil without a Magnum in the
    game. This is an extremely good weapon. Ammo is in shot supply, but the pure
    power of this weapon more than makes up for it. This weapon is best in use for
    bosses and hunters. The firing speed is the main flaw of the weapon. The best
    thing about it is that you have to do nothing special to get it, you find it
    on a chair, wow. A fun thing to do is to torture zombies by blowing off their
    legs and then using the combat knife to hack up the monster to have bragging
    rights.

    11. Sub machinegun
    
    Another classic weapon to the Resident Evil series. This weapon is a good
    weapon and it has a fast firing rate. The best feature it has is the ability
    to move in a pattern by using the control stick. When firing this weapon
    remember that you have limited ammo that is represented by a percentage, or
    about 300 bullets. Each bullet is about as strong as a handgun bullet. The
    weapon has a low decapitation rate but it will still kill a hunter in a few
    shots. This is a weapon that is to be used on normal enemies, never a boss,
    except the giant bat. You can earn this weapon by getting an A ranking when
    you complete the game. Another clip of ammo is achievable if you get an E
    ranking in the leech hunter mini game.

    12. Magnum Revolver
    
    The ULTIMATE hand cannon. Much more powerful than the regular Magnum, but at a
    higher price. The way to unlock this weapon is to beat the leech hunter game
    and collect at least 90 leeches. When you find this gun it will have limited
    ammo but that is not a problem, just beat the leech hunter and collect all 100
    leeches and it will have unlimited ammo, or use a cheat disk both work fine.
    It will also hold normal Magnum rounds so when you find some you will be in
    business. This weapon will kill any boss or enemy alike in 1 hit (Except the
    Queen leech and Dr. Marcus). Beating the game with this on your side will be
    a snap.

    13. Rocket Launcher
    
    Yet again another gun that is imbedded in the Resident Evil franchise. This,
    as you expect, is the ultimate weapon. Nearly perfect in every way. But it
    does have some minor flaws. Flaw 1, it has very slow speed, not a huge problem
    because unless you missed your target it is dead. Flaw 2, it is heavy, so when
    you run with it you run slower than you should. Those are the flaws, but how
    about the good points? 1, it is the most destructive weapon in the game. 2.
    it will never run out of ammo. And 3 1 hit kills on every thing but the Queen
    leech and Dr. Marcus. The weapon has hit home once again.

    Powerful but kind of hard to find. Can kill an enemy rather quickly. Decent
    decapitation rate.
    
    3. Explosive grenade
    Used in/ grenade launcher
    
    Strong but not the strongest. Can kill a zombie in 1 or 2 hits. Not great on
    later bosses.
    
    4. Acid grenade
    Used in/ grenade launcher
    
    Very strong and fast acting. Great for hunters and bugs. Good on bosses.
    
    5. Flame grenade
    Used in/ grenade launcher
    
    Very strong and does lingering damage by it's fire. Great for leech men and
    spiders. Good on bosses.
    
    6. Gas cans and glass bottles
    
    Used to make Molotovs. Great on leech men and any other normal enemies. Ok on
    bosses.
    
    7. Magnum rounds
    Used in/ Magnum, Magnum Revolver
    
    Very strong, can kill any normal enemy in a 1 or few hits. Great on bosses.
    
    8. Sub machinegun clip
    
    All purpose. Fast firing. Good on normal enemies, not on bosses.

    9. Ways to conserve ammo
    
    This will explain how to save your ammo in a situation when you are in short
    supply.
    
    1. The first way to save ammo is to aim for the head, it will take an enemy
    down faster.
    
    2. Run from an enemy.  If you are low on ammo just run away when it is not
    mandatory to stay and fight.
    
    3. Just knock them down. When it is possible to knock down an enemy, do just
    that. Then run.
    
    4. Save ammo for bosses. The bosses are what you really  need the bullets for,
    donít waste ammo on every enemy you run across.
    
    5. Don't kill everything you see. Unless you have unlimited ammo, don't shoot
    every thing or just play around. Most ammo is rare.
    
    6. Use the correct ammo on the correct enemy. In this guide I tell how to kill
    an enemy with the correct type of gun. Use the one that uses the least ammo to
    take down a monster.

    10. Leech hunter prizes
    
    The leech hunter is a mini game that is unlocked when you complete the game on
    any mode and get any ranking. It will give you unlimited ammo for some or all
    weapons, also extra ammo.
    
     0-29 Extra ammo for sub machinegun
     30-59 Unlimited ammo for handgun
     60-89 Unlimited ammo for Hunting gun
     90-99 Magnum Revolver
     100 Unlimited ammo for all guns (not Molotovs) Molotovs show up earlier

    11. Weapons that never made it
    This shows the weapons that were originally supposed to be in the game but for
    some reason they never made it. These weapons are achievable by using the
    action replay code disk, they can't be used but you can examine them.
