    This walkthrough for Metroid Prime on Nintendo Gamecube is copyright
    October 4, 2004.  I wrote this for free, I wish it to remain free.  It
    will not be placed anywhere that someone would need to pay to view it.
    If I find that that has happened, I will contact the necessary person or
    people needed to have that immediately corrected.  Do not steal this
    walkthrough and claim it as your own, should you do that and I find out,
    you will not like the results.  If you do write your own guide for this
    game, then give me the necessary credit.  Do not alter this guide in any
    way shape or form.
    
    Many people in the past have asked me if they could copy other guides
    in the past onto their computers and or print them.  The answer to that
    is this:  You may do anything with my guides that you wish as long as
    there is no money involved.  You may not make money from my work.
    
    Now I will discuss my contact policies.  As of September 6, 2004 I have
    had to alter them due to the fact that a very irresponsible individual
    sent me a computer virus piggybacked to their email.  Due to the fact that
    that happened you must do the following if you are to contact me:

    II.  Story
    
    (Taken directly from instruction manual.)
    
    THE CHOZO
    
    The Chozo...  Over millennia, this bird-like race of creatures made
    incredible technological and scientific leaps.  Traveling at will through
    space, they built many marvels across the universe-technological wonders
    of unfathomable complexity and cities unmatched in beauty.  They shared
    their knowledge freely with more primitive cultures and learned to respect
    and care for life in all its forms.
    
    Even as their society reached its technological peak, however, the Chozo
    felt their spirituality wane.  their culture was steeped in prophecy and
    flore, and they foresaw the decline of the Chozo coinciding with the rise
    of evil.  Horrified by the increasing violence in the universe, they began
    to withdraw into themselves, forgoing technology in favor or simplicity,
    Tallon IV was one of several refuges they built - a colony bereft of
    technology, built of natural materials and wedded to the land and its
    creatures.
    
    The years passed, and in time a great meteor crashed into Tallon IV,
    sending a massive spume of matter into the atmosphere and impregnating the
    land with a cancerous element known as Phazon.  This element immediately
    sank into the earth and water, poisoning life wherever it bloomed.  Most
    plants and animals died, while others mutated into hideous forms.
    
    The Chozo called upon all of their knowledge and technology to control the
    power of the Phazon, but their efforts were doomed to fail.  All they
    could do was build a temple over the crater at the impact site, separate
    the Phazon core, and seal it away.  Believing that someday a savior would
    return to the planet, the Chozo left for an unknown destination, leaving
    behind nothing but engraved accounts of their time on Tallon IV.
    
    THE SPACE PIRATES
    
    The Space Pirates were interstellar nomads, technologically advanced in
    both space travel and weaponry.  When they plundered the Metroid
    population that had been discovered by the Galactic Federation on SR388,
    they recognized in them massive military and energy resource potential.
    They immediately invaded the nearby planed of Zebes, wiping out all life
    (including most of the indigenous Chozo), and building a massive network
    of research facilities below the planet's surface.
    
    Deep below the surface of Zebes, the Space Pirates researched Metroids for
    many years, even as a young girl orphaned by their raid on the neighboring
    planet K-2L was growing up among the Chozo.  Trained as a warrior and
    infused with Chozo blood.  Samus Aran donned a Chozo-made Power Suit and
    cut a swath through the Space Pirates' operation, destroying everything in
    her path, including the gargantuan mainstays of the Space Pirate army,
    Ridley and Kraid.  She eventually made it to the core of their base,
    destroyed all the Metroids she saw, and seemingly blew up the Mother
    Brain.
    
    But the Space Pirates were far from finished.  They immediately split
    their survivors into two main camps.  One headed to Zebes to begin
    rebuilding their ravaged facility and resuscitating Mother Brain, Ridley,
    and Kraid.  The second set out in search of a planet with powerful energy
    resources.  They didn't search far before they discovered Tallion IV,
    which was still emanating huge pulses of energy from the Phazon contained
    beneath the Chozo temple.  Entranced by the massive potential of the
    strange mutagen, they immediately moved in, retrofitting their
    laboratories, transporters, and life-support systems into the Chozo Ruins.
    
    As the Space Pirates mined the Phazon and experimented with it, they found
    that its capacity to mutate was unlike anything they'd ever seen, and they
    promptly started combining it with indigenous life-forms.  They refined
    their operation, powering their machinery with thermal-powered engines
    sunk in the molten depths of Tallon IV, they drove deep mineshafts and
    mined more and more Phazon, shipping it to their two main labs in the
    Phendrana Drifts, where sub-zero temperatures made specimen containment
    safer.  Research leaped forward: by harnessing Phazon's power, they were
    able to create untold horrors that soon patrolled the dark caverns below
    Tallon IV's crust.
    
    The Space Pirates also transported many species to their orbiting ship for
    zero-G Phazon experiments, unaware that Samus Aran had finally tracked
    their ship to its low orbit.  As they continued with their unnatural
    experiments.  Samus sped toward Tallon IV, preparing to wipe them out once
    and for all...

    III.  Walkthrough
    
    Okay before we begin let me say a few things.  I will frequently reference
    you to the map.  I will not tell you where enemies are, except for the
    first time, however, as you get more and better equipment I may drop a
    hint on better ways to beat them from time to time.  I will include all
    of the Missile Expansions, Energy Tanks, and Power Bomb Upgrades in the
    general walkthrough.  This will not get you through the game in the
    quickest time, but you will beat the game with 100% completion, if you
    follow the walkthrough.  Any and all directions that I give will be from
    the door you just came from.  If there are no new enemies then I will just
    tell you what you have to do in the room/area to get to the next room/area
    to get where you need to be.  When I tell you to scan something please do
    so.  Almost everything you scan will be red in color except for creatures
    and a few other exceptions.  Remember, save early and save often.  Enjoy
    the game because it kicks all ass.

    Part I:  Space Station
    **************************************************************************

    SPACE STATION
    ==========================================================================
    
    EXTERIOR DOCKING HANGAR
    Go forward and shoot the 4 red switches to shut down the force field.  Now
    go forward and scan the pillar in the next area and this will activate the
    switches for the next force field.  Shoot the 6 switches to this force field
    and then go through.  Now make your way to the blue door and shoot it to
    go through.  In the hallway shoot the blue door in front of you and go
    through to the next room.
    
    AIR LOCK
    Scan the panel on the left side to re-pressurize the room and then shoot
    the blue door in front of you once it is activated and go to the next
    room.
    
    DECK ALPHA ACCESS HALL
    Run forward and shoot the blue door in front of you.
    
    EMERGENCY EVACUATION AREA
    When you enter you will see a large corpse lying in the middle of the
    room.  Beside the room you will see your first Parasite so scan it.  Just
    shoot it to kill it.  Now continue through the room to the next blue door.
    Kill the wounded Space Pirate next to the door and then go through the
    door.
    
    DECK ALPHA UMBILICAL HALL
    Use the Charge Beam to destroy the blockage in your way then enter the
    blue door at the end.
    
    MAP FACILITY
    After the cut-scene follow the Parasites into the Morph Ball hole and go
    to the Map Room.  Scan the Map Station, then step into it to get the map
    for the Space Station.  Now go back out to the hallway and shoot the blue
    door to go into the next room.
    
    CONNECTION ELEVATOR TO DECK BETA
    Go into the elevator room and scan the panel.  Now step into the hologram
    and go down to the next floor.  Then shoot the blue door to get to the
    next room.
    
    DECK BETA CONDUIT HALL
    In this hallway go into Morph Ball Form and go through the hallway to the
    end and enter the blue door.
    
    BIOTECH RESEARCH AREA 1
    Kill all the Space Pirates and head to the blue door.
    
    DECK BETA SECURITY HALL
    Around the corner ahead you will find your first Auto Turret so scan it.
    The easiest way to kill this is to use Missiles or Charge Beam shots.  Now
    move to the blue door at the end of the hall.
    
    BIOHAZARD CONTAINMENT
    First scan the panels in front of you and you will find your first Pirate
    Data (Fall of Zebus).  Kill the Auto Turret in here and on the other side
    of the room scan the panel next to the elevator to go up to the next floor
    of the room.  Now make your way along the walkway killing the Space
    Pirates and enter the blue door at the end.
    
    DECK BETA TRANSIT HALL
    Just run to the end of the hall and enter the blue door.
    
    CARGO FREIGHT LIFT TO DECK GAMMA
    Kill the Auto Turret on the right as you come in and then scan the panel
    to enter the elevator to go to the lower level.  At the bottom kill the
    Parasites and then as you leave the elevator a Space Pirate will jump down
    at you.  Greet him properly.  Now scan the panel on the right and then go
    into Morph Ball form and enter the ball lock (sounds like something you
    would find in a porno, or a very painful wrestling move...).  When the
    door opens take out the 2 Auto Turrets in the next room before you enter.
    
    REACTOR CORE ENTRANCE
    Enter the blue door to your left and scan the Save Station before you
    save.  Now go back out into the larger room and scan the panel and enter
    the ball lock.  Now go through the door to the next room.
    
    REACTOR CORE
    Go forward and enter your first boss battle.
    BOSS BATTLE: Parasite Queen
    First scan the Parasite Queen.  Now Lock-On to it's head and use either
    Charge Beam shots or Missiles.  Shoot through the gaps in the force field
    and dodge the beams it shoots.  This battle will be over quickly.
    Once the Parasite Queen is dead go through the blue door in front of you.
    Also you only have 7 minutes to get out of the Space Station.  Plenty of
    time.
    
    DECK GAMMA MONITOR HALL
    Go through this hallway to the blue door at the end.
    
    CONNECTION ELEVATOR TO DECK BETA
    Scan the panel to activate the elevator and then take it up.  At the top
    go through the blue door.  At the top scan the wall panel before you go
    around the corner to disable the Auto Turret.  Then go through the blue
    door at the end.
    
    BIOTECH RESEARCH AREA 1
    You come out on the bottom floor into the middle of a fight.  Let the
    baddies kill themselves.  Now climb up the rubble on the far side of the
    room to the upper floor.  Kill all the Space Pirates on your way to the
    other side of the upper level of the room and a hatch will blow to give
    you access to the next room you need to go to.
    
    SUBVENTILATION SHAFT SECTION A
    Go through the hallway to the blue door at the end.  Use your map if you
    need to, also watch out for all of the Parasites.
    
    SUBVENTILATION SHAFT SECTION B
    Go through the hallway to the blue door at the end.  Use your map if you
    need to, also watch out for all of the Parasites.
    
    CARGO FREIGHT LIFT TO DECK GAMMA
    You begin by waiting for a door to blow open for you.  Once that happens
    go to the blue door at the end.  Again watch out for the Parasites.
    
    MAIN VENTILATION SHAFT SECTION B
    Destroy the 2 Auto Turrets and then go through the door in front of you.
    
    MAIN VENTILATION SHAFT SECTION C
    Just run forward until you reach the blue door at the end and go through.
    
    MAIN VENTILATION SHAFT SECTION D
    Follow the hallway to the blue door at the end and go through.
    
    MAIN VENTILATION SHAFT SECTION E
    Go forward and follow the giant piston back and enter the hallway that
    you find and go through the blue door.
    
    MAIN VENTILATION SHAFT SECTION F
    Go forward to the blue door and enter.
    
    BIOTECH RESEARCH AREA 2
    Go forward and Grapple Beam on the grapple spots to cross the room and
    enter the blue door at the end.
    
    CONNECTION ELEVATOR TO DECK ALPHA
    Scan the wall panel before you go around the corner to disable the Auto
    Turret.  Now go up to the elevator at the end and scan the wall panel
    to go up to the next floor.
    
    DECK ALPHA MECH SHAFT
    Follow the path forward to the Air Lock.
    
    AIR LOCK
    Shoot the door on the right as you leave the mech shaft and go back to
    your ship and leave the Space Station before it explodes.
    
    
    Note:  There are 2 Research entries that you will not find listed in the
    section above that you need to scan, but you can get them at any time
    throughout the game.  They are the Small Energy, and the Missile Ammo.
    When you find them just scan them.

    Part II:  Get the Missile Launcher
    **************************************************************************

    TALLON OVERWORLD
    ==========================================================================
    
    LANDING SITE
    First things first, get on the ground and scan your ship to get the
    Research Log (Gunship).  Now with the front of the ship at your back, you
    will notice some stairs that are in front of you and to the left.  Go up
    the stairs and behind the waterfall to the blue door at the end of the
    ledge and enter.
    
    TEMPLE HALL
    Scan the Seedling and then go back to the Landing Site.
    
    LANDING SITE
    Go back to your ship and put the front of the ship to your back again.
    Now look right and you will see a blue door there.  Go through the blue
    door.
    
    CANYON CAVERN
    Scan the Beetles that you see to get another log entry then kill them.
    Follow the trail to the next blue door.
    
    TALLON CANYON
    As you first enter this area turn left and scan the Sap Sac to get another
    entry.  Now when you near the water look on the ledge above and to the
    right and you will be able to scan the Geemer.  In the water you can scan
    the Blastcaps.  On the ledges to the left scan the Zoomers.  Go to the
    blue door at the top of the room and enter.
    
    ROOT TUNNEL
    In here scan the Bloodflower and then go back to Tallon Canyon.
    
    TALLON CANYON
    Drop to the ground and enter the blue door that was at the far end of this
    area from where you originally entered.
    
    NOTE: At any time you may now find either a red or a gold energy ball.
    The red is called Large Energy and the gold is called Ultra Energy.  When
    you find either scan them.
    
    TRANSPORT TUNNEL A
    Kill the enemies in here if you wish, but go through the blue door at the
    end.
    
    TRANSPORT TO CHOZO RUINS WEST
    Scan the elevator panel and then get onto the elevator to go to Chozo
    Ruins.

    TRANSPORT TO TALLON OVERWORLD NORTH
    Just go through the blue door in front of you.
    
    RUINS ENTRANCE
    Kill the Beetles as you come across them.  Now before you enter the blue
    door at the end, scan the Chozo Lore (Fountain).  Now you can enter the
    door.
    
    NOTE:  I won't mention enemies any more unless you need to kill them, or
    unless it is the first time that you have encountered them.
    
    MAIN PLAZA
    Your goal is to go to the far door on the left from where you entered.
    On your way scan the first door on the left to get another Research Log
    entry (Missile Door Lock).
    
    NURSERY ACCESS
    Just go through the tunnel to the blue door at the end.  Also scan the
    Scarabs along the way for another Creature log.
    
    EYON TUNNEL
    First scan the Eyon on the wall and then shoot them all to blind them
    temporarily and make your way to the blue door at the end.
    
    RUINED NURSERY
    As you enter look up and to the left and you can scan a Hive for another
    Creature entry.  Also you can scan the War Wasps once they come out.  Scan
    the Chozo Lore (Exodus) on the wall near the tree.  On the upper level
    enter the blue door near the tree to enter a Save room.
    
    SAVE STATION 1
    Save your game then go back into the Ruined Nursery.
    
    RUINED NURSERY
    Just go through the other door on the upper level of this room.
    
    NORTH ATRIUM
    Go through to the blue door at the end.
    
    RUINED GALLERY
    Go through the blue door on the other side of the room.
    
    TOTEM ACCESS
    Once you are in here scan the Plazmite for another Log Book entry.  Then
    in the center section scan the Tangle Weed on the center block surrounded
    by water.  Now just finish and go to the blue door at the end of the
    tunnel.
    
    HIVE TOTEM
    From where you enter drop onto the ground to your right and make your way
    to the raised section in the center of the room.  Once you are up there
    you can see your Missile Launcher in the distance.  Walk towards it for a
    mini-boss fight.
    BOSS BATTLE:  Hive Mecha
    Scan the Hive Mecha.  The apparent best place to do that is underwater.
    However do scan the Ram War wasps that come out for another log entry.
    Here is what to do.  Rely on your radar.  Watch the Ram War Wasps circle
    you.  When one of them stops on your radar, turn and destroy it.  Once all
    of them are dead, face the Hive Mecha and lock onto it and fire until the
    red dot disappears and the hive turns.  You will have to do this 3 times.
    Then go and collect your Missile Launcher (Missile Expansion #1).
    Now shoot the Missile Door that was behind the Hive Mecha.  Next go into
    the door in front of you.

    Part III:  Get the Morph Ball
    **************************************************************************
    
    TRANSPORT ACCESS NORTH
    In here first scan the Research entry (Energy Tank), then get the Energy
    Tank #1.  Now go back to the Ruined Gallery.
    
    RUINED GALLERY
    In here first destroy the Hive on the ceiling.  Now drop to the bottom
    area and shoot the missile door.  Now turn so that your left shoulder is
    pointing at the missile door and fire a missile at the wall directly in
    front of you.  This will break the wall and reveal Missile Expansion #2.
    Get it and then enter the missile door.
    
    MAP STATION
    Enter the Map Station and get the map for Chozo Ruins.  Now go back to
    Save Station 1 and save.  Now go back to the Main Plaza.
    
    MAIN PLAZA
    Go to the missile door and blast it open then enter.
    
    RUINED SHRINE ACCESS
    Go through this corridor while killing the Scarabs.  At the end go through
    the blue door.
    
    RUINED SHRINE
    Climb over the wall and you will see the morph ball on the other side of
    the room.  As you near the far wall you will be attacked by a swarm of
    Beetles.  Kill them all and then you will have to face a Plated Beetle.
    First scan it.  Now it is only vulnerable on the red section of it's body.
    So when it begins to charge sidestep out of the way and shoot it in the
    back and soon it will die.  Then climb up the ledge and claim the Morph
    Ball.  Now go back to the Landing Site on the Tallon Overworld.

    Part IV:  Get the Charge Beam

    TALLON OVERWORLD
    ==========================================================================
    
    LANDING SITE
    
    From your ship go behind it and you will find a low stone arch that you
    can fit through if you go into Morph Ball mode.  Do that and you will find
    Missile Expansion #3.  Enter the blue door where you found the Seedlings
    at first at the beginning of the game.
    
    TEMPLE HALL
    Go through the missile door at the end of the hall.
    
    TEMPLE SECURITY STATION
    Go to the hologram and scan it to get a Pirate Data (Artifact Site).  Then
    go through the blue door at the end.
    
    TEMPLE LOBBY
    Go through the blue door at the end.
    
    ARTIFACT TEMPLE
    You will find 2 Chozo Lores (Binding and Statuary).  Go out into
    the large area of the temple and you will find a Chozo Artifact (Truth)
    out in the open.  Now go to back to Transport Access North in Chozo
    Ruins.

    CHOZO RUINS
    ==========================================================================
    
    TRANSPORT ACCESS NORTH
    Go into Morph Ball mode and go into the tunnel.  At the end you will find
    a blue door.  Go through it.
    
    TRANSPORT TO MAGMOOR CAVERNS NORTH
    Scan the elevator panel to activate the elevator, but do not get onto it.
    We'll do that later.  Instead enter the door that is to the right from
    where you entered.
    
    VAULT ACCESS
    Go into Morph Ball mode and take the lift up to the tunnel.  Go through
    the tunnels until you get to a blue door and then go through.
    
    VAULT
    We cannot get the Missile Expansion in here yet, but don't worry.  Scan
    the Chozo Lore (Beginnings) on the right wall.  Now go through the blue
    door at the end.
    
    PLAZA ACCESS
    Make your way to the blue door at the end.
    
    MAIN PLAZA
    Grab Energy Tank #2.  Then make your way to the upper level blue door in
    this area and go through.
    
    RUINED FOUNTAIN ACCESS
    Make your way through this tunnel to the blue door at the end.
    
    RUINED FOUNTAIN
    Make your way around the perimeter of the room to the blue door on the
    left side.  Make sure that you scan the Chozo Lore (Hatchling) on the wall
    behind the fountain.
    
    ARBORETUM ACCESS
    Scan and then kill the Shriekbats for another Creature log.  Now blow open
    the missile door at the end.
    
    ARBORETUM
    Scan the Reaper Vine for another Creature Log and then shoot them out of
    the way.  Make your way across the room without getting in the water and
    enter the missile door opposite of where you came in.
    
    GATHERING HALL ACCESS
    Go through this tunnel and through the blue door at the end.
    
    GATHERING HALL
    Go forward and enter the save room on the right by blowing open the
    missile door.  After you save, go through the blue door that is directly
    across from you.
    
    WATERY HALL ACCESS
    Kill the Shriekbats as you enter.  When you get to the lowest point in
    the room turn left and shoot the wall with a missile.  You will get
    Missile Expansion #4.  Now take and blow open the missile door at the end
    of the chamber.
    
    WATERY HALL
    When you enter you will see some Blastcaps on a platform in the water.
    Clear off the platform and get onto it.  Now look at the wall beside the
    door that you came in from and scan the Chozo rune on the wall.  Now
    advance to the next platform with Blastcaps and clear it off as well.  Now
    scan the Chozo rune on this platform to activate it.  Continue along to
    the last platform and scan the Chozo rune on the wall in plain sight.  Go
    back to the part of the room where you entered and this time go along the
    top.  When you get to the very last platform before you get to the rune
    gate, turn right and scan the Chozo rune on the wall.  Now scan the gate
    itself and enter.  At the back is the Charge Beam.  Also scan the Chozo
    Lore (Meteor Strike).  Now go back to the Gathering Hall.

    Part V:  Get the Bombs
    **************************************************************************
    
    GATHERING HALL
    Make your way to the upper blue door by using the platforms around the
    room.
    
    EAST ATRIUM
    Make your way to the blue door at the other end.
    
    ENERGY CORE ACCESS
    Make your way to the blue door at the other end.
    
    ENERGY CORE
    Take the path to the left.  Soon you will come to a Morph Ball tunnel
    entrance.  Before you enter, scan the Stone Toad on the right for another
    Log entry.  Then enter the tunnel.
    
    BURN DOME ACCESS
    Follow the tunnels to the blue door at the end.
    
    BURN DOME
    As you enter you will be faced with another mini-boss.
    BOSS BATTLE:  Incinerator Drone
    First scan the Incinerator Drone for another log entry.  Wait for a red
    light to come out the top and then either shoot it with a Charged Beam or
    a missile.  Then it will burn the large hive above it.  Scan the Barbed
    War Wasps that come out of it.  Kill them as necessary, but each time that
    red light appears on the top of the Drone, shoot it.  Once the battle is
    won, the Bombs are yours.
    Before you grab the bombs scan the door to get another Research Log entry.
    After you have the bombs follow the little stream in the floor to a
    blocked off Morph Ball hole.  Bomb it open and then enter.  At the back
    you will get Missile Expansion #5.  Now go back to the Energy Core.

    Part VI:  Get the Varia Suit
    **************************************************************************
    
    ENERGY CORE
    Go to the Stone Toad and let it eat you.  Then blow it up with a bomb.
    Go behind where it was and scan the Morph Ball Slot for a Research Log
    entry.  Then bomb jump into it and set a bomb in it.  Now you are on a
    timer.  A cut-scene will show you where the next one is.  Go to it and
    repeat the process.  Now go back out and get onto the ledges and enter the
    rear tunnel to go to the last Morph Ball Slot.  Bomb it and then go to the
    blue door that you just unlocked.
    
    WEST FURNACE ACCESS
    Go to the blue door at the end and enter.
    
    FURNACE
    Go through the Morph Ball hole and get Energy Tank #3.  Now return to the
    Watery Hall.
    
    WATERY HALL
    Go to where you got the Charge Beam and you will also find a blocked up
    Morph Ball tunnel.  Bomb it open and go through.  At the end is a missile
    door for you to open.
    
    DYNAMO ACCESS
    Go to the end of the tunnel and open the missile door
    
    DYNAMO
    There is a metal grate across from you.  Shoot it with a missile and get
    Missile Expansion #6.  Now go to the Ruined Shrine.
    
    RUINED SHRINE
    On the floor you will find another blocked up Morph Ball hole.  Blow it
    open and go in to get Missile Expansion #7.  Next stop, Ruined Nursery.
    
    RUINED NURSERY
    After you get rid of the enemies in this room, go to the wall with the
    Morph Ball track in it.  Blow up all the blocks that you can and follow
    the track to Missile Expansion #8.  Next go to the Ruined Gallery.
    
    RUINED GALLERY
    Drop to the bottom floor of the room and look to the right.  You will see
    a couple of Morph Ball holes.  Bomb jump into one and you will find
    Missile Expansion #9.  Now go back to the Vault.
    
    VAULT
    Approach the front side of the vault and you will see 3 Morph Ball slots.
    Bomb the gate off of the lowest one and then enter and place a bomb.  Go
    to the middle one and bomb jump into it and place a bomb.  For the last
    one you will need to double bomb jump.  Place a bomb and when it is about
    to explode place another then while you are still on your way up place the
    third bomb.  Then as you drop back down the second will explode and shoot
    you into the explosion of the third.  When you land in the third Morph
    Ball slot, set another bomb.  Now you can get Missile Expansion #10.  Now
    go to the Arboretum.
    
    ARBORETUM
    First go to the platform in the water that is covered with Venom Weed.
    Shoot the Poison Weed to make it go down and then scan the Chozo rune.
    Now climb up the tree via the platforms and scan the Chozo rune that is
    on the tree just above the bridge.  Now climb up some steps and Morph Ball
    into the small space and bomb the blocks in your way.  Next you will find
    some more steps.  On the middle step look left and scan the Chozo rune
    there.  Now as you approach the next Morph Ball spot, scan the Venom Weed
    for your log book.  Shoot at it and then go through.  Climb the rest of
    the platforms to the top of the room.  When you are near the exit door at
    the top turn around and you will find the last Chozo rune on the tree.
    Scan it and now go and lay a bomb in front of the Morph Ball hole.  Enter
    the hole at the top of the room.  At the end of the tunnel open the
    missile door and go through.
    
    SUNCHAMBER LOBBY
    Just go to the blue door at the end.
    
    SUNCHAMBER ACCESS
    Just go to the blue door at the end.
    
    SUNCHAMBER
    As you enter you will be thrown into a boss fight.
    BOSS BATTLE:  Flaaghra
    First as you enter scan the Flaaghra Tentacle that is in front of you for
    your log book.  Now lock onto Flaaghra itself and shoot at it until it is
    stunned.  When it is stunned scan Flaaghra itself for your log book.  Now
    you can begin to fight.  Shoot at Flaaghra until it is stunned.  When that
    happens run over to any of the sun dishes that has light coming out of it
    and shoot a missile at the back of it at the red light.  That will take
    care of round 1.  Now each round you will have to do the same thing to
    each of the sun dishes that are in use.  In the last round you will have
    to blast all 4 of them.  After you have blasted all of the sun dishes for
    that round enter any of the Morph Ball tunnels that the Flaaghra Tentacle
    was blocking and at the end plant a bomb.  Once Flaaghra is dead go and
    claim the Varia Suit.  Now go to the Transport to Magmoor Caverns North.
    
    **************************************************************************
    Part VII:  Get the Boost Ball
    **************************************************************************
    
    SUN TOWER ACCESS
    Just make it to the blue door on the other side of the area.  When you
    destroy the boxes in here for power ups, it is an excellent place to find
    Ultra Energy for your log book.  After that make sure that you scan the
    Pulse Bombu for your log book also.  Do not shoot at it and do not charge
    your Charge Beam.  Only the Wave Beam can kill these.
    
    SUN TOWER
    As you approach the large drop, you can drop to the bottom if you wish,
    but instead when you reach the edge, jump across the room to land on a
    small ledge.  Now turn around and scan one of the Oculus that are moving
    around.  At the bottom, destroy all 4 Hives and all of the War Wasps that
    they produce.  Now scan the Chozo Lore (Contain) and then leave.
    
    TRANSPORT TO MAGMOOR CAVERNS NORTH
    Enter the elevator and go down to Magmoor Caverns

    TRANSPORT TO CHOZO RUINS NORTH
    Go through the blue door.
    
    BURNING TRAIL
    Drop down to the bottom level and move along until you come to a missile
    door on your left.  Open it and enter Save Station Magmoor A and save.
    When you come out, go to the left and scan the Grizby in front of you.
    You can only kill it with a missile (for now).  Now continue to the blue
    door ahead of you.
    
    LAKE TUNNEL
    Get across the platforms to the other side without getting toasted.  On
    the other side you will find another creature to scan.  Scan the Burrower
    and then go through the blue door.
    
    LAVA LAKE
    In here there are 2 new creatures for you to scan.  Scan the Magmoor and
    the Puffer creatures in here.  Once you scan them kill them.  Now go
    across all of the platforms to the other side of the room where there are
    some boxes.  Blow up the boxes and then bomb the wall behind where they
    were.  You will be in a tunnel, at the end bomb the wall in front of you
    to get to the next room.  Kill the enemies in here and then do some more
    platform jumping to reach the blue door at the end.
    
    PIT TUNNEL
    First scan the Triclops below the floor grating.  Now go into Morph Ball
    mode and go under the grating to the other side of the room.  If you near
    any of the Triclops, then set a bomb on the ground before it can get a
    lock on you.  This is the only way to kill them.  On the other side of the
    room go through the blue door.
    
    TRICLOPS PIT
    Go forward and kill all of the Puffers in the room.  They will be to the
    far left and up and also in front and down of you.  Then drop to the
    bottom of the room and look for a large hole in the cavern wall.  Enter
    this and you will find a Morph Ball hole that will take you under the
    grating where the Triclops are.  From where you enter the grate head
    forward and to the right.  This will take you to a blue door.  Enter it.
    
    STORAGE CAVERN
    Get Missile Expansion #11 and then go back to the Triclops Pit.
    
    TRICLOPS PIT
    Now you have to make your way to the blue door that is far up and to the
    right from where you just came in at.
    
    MONITOR TUNNEL
    Kill the Puffers and cross the platforms.  Go to the blue door and enter.
    
    MONITOR STATION
    Destroy the Auto Turrets on the computer tower in front of you.  Now make
    your way around the room via platforms to the lone blue door on the right
    side of the room and enter.
    
    TRANSPORT TUNNEL A
    Enter the Morph Ball tunnel.  This upcoming part can be kind of tricky
    especially if your timing is off.  On the first metal block you come to
    there is an opening above you.  You need to double bomb jump up to the
    platform above and to the left.  When you get to the end you need to
    double bomb jump again.  Roll to the left some more to the end and then
    double bomb jump again.  You will get Energy Tank #4.  Now drop down to
    the bottom and go through the opening to the left.  And go through the
    blue door.
    
    TRANSPORT TO PHENDRANA DRIFTS NORTH
    Scan the elevator panel and then go up the elevator to Phendrana Drifts.

    TRANSPORT TO MAGMOOR CAVERNS WEST
    Go through the blue door.
    
    SHORELINE ENTRANCE
    Go to the blue door at the end.  Use the Charge Beam to break down the
    ice walls in your way.
    
    PHENDRANA SHORELINES
    This is the main hub for this section of Tallon IV.  Here you will be able
    to scan 2 new creatures for your log.  First look for a blue light thing
    in the air.  When you see that try to lock on to it with your scan, this
    is the Flickerbat.  Now cross the water to the other side from where you
    entered.  Go up to the cave entrance and scan the Crystallite.  Now
    staying on ground level enter the cave and open the blue door at the end
    to find Save Station B.  Save and then go back outside.  When you are
    leaving the cave head to the right and go to the metal gate on ground
    level.  Open it with a missile and scan the wall panel in the back to
    unlock the door above.  Now go to that door above and enter.
    
    ICE RUINS ACCESS
    Destroy the ice wall with a Charged Beam shot and then scan the Scatter
    Bombu.  Now go to the end of the tunnel.  You can only kill the Scatter
    Bombu with Wave Beam.  Enter the blue door.
    
    ICE RUINS EAST
    Scan the Baby Sheegoths for your Creatures log.  Use Charged Beam shots
    to the back.  2 shots each will do.  Now on the right side from where you
    entered, climb up the ledges and work your way around the room until you
    reach the other blue door and enter.
    
    PLAZA WALKWAY
    Scan the Ice Burrowers in here and then move through the blue door at the
    end.
    
    PHENDRANA SHORELINES
    Enter the blue door that is above and to the left of you.
    
    RUINS ENTRYWAY
    Go to the blue door at the end.
    
    ICE RUINS WEST
    Kill the 2 Baby Sheegoths in here.  Now go back to where you entered.
    Look into the ruins to the right of where you entered and scan the Chozo
    Lore (Cypher).  Now take and head toward the purple door.  When you reach
    the gray stone outcropping on the left look up and scan the Ice Shriekbats
    for your log.  Also look around on the cieling for a Stalactite and scan
    it for your log book.  Now make your way down to the missile door (it is
    gray on the map in case you haven't noticed yet).  Open it and go through.
    
    CANYON ENTRYWAY
    Make your way to the blue door at the end.
    
    PHENDRANA CANYON
    Drop down onto the bridge below you with the boxes.  Scan the Chozo Lore
    (The Turned) that is on the back wall.  Now drop completely to the bottom
    and kill the Baby Sheegoth.  Climb up the snow bank that is to the right.
    Up here you will find a red panel to scan.  It will bring up many
    platforms to jump across.  Do this quickly because you are on a timer.  At
    the end you will get the Boost Ball upgrade.  Now drop down into the
    half pipe and use the Boost Ball to get out and onto the ledge.  Make your
    way back to the Main Plaza in Chozo Ruins.  We'll pick up there.

    Part VIII:  Get the Space Jump Boots
    **************************************************************************

    MAIN PLAZA
    Go to the half pipe and use the Boost ball to get Missile Expansion #12.
    Then go to the Ruined Shrine.
    
    RUINED SHRINE
    Get onto the half pipe and go up the left side.  Up here you will find a
    hole in the wall.  Enter and claim Missile Expansion #13.  Now go to
    Tallon Canyon in the Tallon Overworld.

    Use the Boost Ball in the half pipe to get up to the upper ledge.  Now
    cross the bridge and bomb through the walls ahead of you to get to a blue
    door.  Go through.
    
    LANDING SITE
    Jump across the ledges in front of you and enter the blue door that you
    come to.  Do not fall down to the ground or you have to go back.
    
    ALCOVE
    Get the Space Jump Boots and then go back to the Landing Site.  Next go to
    the Gathering Hall in Chozo Ruins.

    Part IX;  Get the Wave Beam
    **************************************************************************

    GATHERING HALL
    Make your way up to the top of the room.  When you are near the blue door
    at the top jump on top of one of the red light things.  Now jump up to the
    center platform above them.  Bomb the metal grating and you will receive
    Missile Expansion #14.  Now go to the Monitor Station in Magmoor Caverns.

    MONITOR STATION
    From where you enter the Monitor Station area go into the blue door that
    is to your left and on the bottom level of the room.
    
    SHORE TUNNEL
    Go through here to the other side and exit via the blue door.
    
    FIERY SHORES
    When you arrive in here look to the island with the Triclops on it and you
    will see a Morph Ball hole that you can bomb jump into.  Go over there and
    do that.  On the other side of the tunnel, look for some boxes to be piled
    up.  Get rid of the boxes and follow the path that they were blocking.
    You will need to bomb jump several times to get to the top of the path.
    Once on top, follow the catwalk to Missile Expansion #15.  Now go through
    the blue door that have not been through yet in this room.
    
    TRANSPORT TUNNEL B
    Make it to the blue door on the other side of the room and go through.
    
    TRANSPORT TO TALLON OVERWORLD WEST
    In here scan the elevator panel to activate it and then take the elevator
    up to Tallon Overworld.

    TRANSPORT TO MAGMOOR CAVERNS EAST
    Go through the blue door up here.
    
    TRANSPORT TUNNEL B
    Go underneath the bridge that you find in this room to get Missile
    Expansion #16.  Now go to Phendrana Shorelines in Phendrana Drifts.

    PHENDRANA DRIFTS

    PHENDRANA SHORELINES
    Go ahead and save.  Now coming out of the cave that leads to Save Station
    B, head left and go to the side of the room with the only blue door you
    haven't been in yet.  Jump up onto the floating platform and then jump
    over to where the blue door is.  Enter the door.
    
    TEMPLE ENTRYWAY
    Shoot the ice wall with a missile and go to the blue door at the end.
    
    CHOZO ICE TEMPLE
    Scan the Ice Parasite for your log book.  Now take and jump your way along
    the ledges throughout the room to the top of the room.  You will now be in
    a small hallway with Chozo faces on both sides.  Find the one made of
    Brinstone and use a missile on it.  Now take and bomb jump into the Morph
    Ball Slot behind it and use a bomb.  Go through the newly opened door.
    
    CHAPEL TUNNEL
    Make your way through this easy Morph Ball puzzle and go through the blue
    door on the other end.
    
    CHAPEL OF THE ELDERS
    In here you can see the Wave Beam upgrade across the room from you, go to
    it.  As you approach you will have to do battle to get it.  Kill all of
    the Baby Sheegoths that come toward you.  After they are all dead, a new
    creature will show up.  It is the Sheegoth.
    BOSS BATTLE:  Sheegoth
    First scan it.  Now there are 2 ways to fight it.  The safer method is to
    wait for it to use it's ice breath or whatever you want to call it and
    then shoot a missile into it's mouth when it's done doing that.  It will
    take several missiles.  Or you can just Morph Ball up and go underneath
    it and set bombs like crazy.  That will kill it faster but you will take
    a ton of damage.  After it's dead get the Wave Beam upgrade.  Go to Ice
    Ruins West.
    
    **************************************************************************
    Part X:  Get the Super Missiles
    **************************************************************************
    
    ICE RUINS WEST
    Enter the ruins to the right of where you come in and make your way to the
    top.  At the top get a lock on to the Stalactite and fire a missile at the
    crack in it's base.  It will fall to the ground and you now have another
    platform that you can use.  Now move along the tops towards the purple
    door.  If you missed scanning the Ice Shriekbats earlier, then this is the
    last chance you will have for it.  Go through the purple door.
    
    COURTYARD ENTRYWAY
    Just make your way through this tunnel to the door at the end.
    
    RUINED COURTYARD
    First go forward along a couple of the islands and then turn to the right.
    Scan the Spinner on the bottom level for a Research log entry.  Now get
    into it in Morph Ball form and use the Boost Ball on it until it kicks
    you out.  You will find another Spinner on the other side of the room, go
    and use it.  Now climb up the pillars to the Morph Ball Slot that you were
    shown in the cut scene.  Place a bomb in it.  Water will now fill the room.
    Quickly jump across the platforms to the platform with the Morph Ball hole
    above it.  Once there bomb jump into the hole.  At the end you will find
    Energy Tank #5.  Now go back to the main section of the room and flood it
    again.  This time when you get near the pillar in the center with the
    platforms on it jump onto the platforms and make your way to the top of
    the room.  At the top of the room go through the missile door and into
    Save Station A.  Save.  Outside go through the purple door at the top.
    
    SPECIMEN STORAGE
    Destroy the Auto Turret and also kill the Shadow Pirate.  If you can, try
    to scan it, but I cannot get this one.  Don't worry about it, as you will
    have plenty of chances later.  After everything is clear, go through the
    purple door at the end.
    
    RESEARCH ENTRANCE
    Before you get into the room destroy the Auto Turret on the ceiling in the
    center.  Then when you enter you will have to kill a slew of Space Pirates
    and this is a prime opportunity to scan 1 of them.  When they are all dead
    go through the blue door on the bottom level of the room.
    
    MAP STATION
    Get the map and then go back into the Research Entrance.
    
    RESEARCH ENTRANCE
    Go up to the second floor and go through the purple door.
    
    HYDRA LAB ENTRYWAY
    Go to the purple door at the end.
    
    RESEARCH LAB HYDRA
    As you enter scan the red panel on the right.  Now you can enter the rest
    of the room.  However you need to kill a ton of Space Pirates.  Make sure
    that all of the Space Pirates are dead in this room before you do the rest
    of what I put here.  After they are dead go to the bottom floor.  From
    where you entered go to the computer area on the right side of the room.
    In here you will find 3 Pirate Datas (Security Breaches, Mining Status,
    Phazon Analysis) so scan them.  Now scan the elevator panel by the
    elevator to go up to the second floor.  Here kill some more Space Pirates
    and an Auto Turret.  On the top floor you will find 2 more Pirate Datas to
    scan (Glacial Wastes, and Parasite Larva).  Now go through the purple door
    in the ceiling at the end of the room.
    
    OBSERVATORY ACCESS
    Destroy the 3 Auto Turrets and go through the purple door at the end.
    
    OBSERVATORY
    First clear the room of all enemies (that should always be the first step
    anyway).  Scan the panel that you saw activate after you killed all of the
    enemies.  Now near that on some nearby computers you will find 2 new
    Pirate Datas (Phazon Program, and Contact).
    NOTE:  If you have been following along like a good reader, then you now
    will receive a message saying that 50% of all scans complete!
    Go to the Morph Ball Slot that you saw activate and place a bomb in it.
    Now go to the second Morph Ball Slot you just activated and bomb it as
    well.  Now on the floor you will see that there are 4 Spinners that have
    been activated.  Use all of them.  Now a hologram above you will be
    activated.  Scan the 2 planets in the hologram with the red panels in
    them.  You will get Zebes and Tallon IV for your research log.  Now use
    the various ledges around the room to get to the top.  At the top go to
    the missile door and open it.  Enter Save Station D and save.  Now in the
    center of the Observatory you will find the Super Missiles in front of
    you.  Get them.  Now go through the purple door ahead of you.
    
    **************************************************************************
    Part XI:  Get the Thermal Visor
    **************************************************************************
    
    WEST TOWER ENTRANCE
    Go through the missile door ahead of you.
    
    WEST TOWER
    Scan the elevator panel and go up to the top then go through the purple
    door.
    
    CONTROL TOWER
    Kill all of the Space Pirates and then you will get some new enemies to
    arrive.  Scan and then kill the Flying Pirates.  Once they are all dead
    go through the purple door on the other end of the area.
    
    EAST TOWER
    Scan the elevator panel and go down to the bottom floor.  Go through the
    purple door down here.
    
    AETHER LAB ENTRYWAY
    Make your way to the purple door at the end.
    
    RESEARCH LAB AETHER
    First thing scan the Metroid in the tank.  Then it will break out.  Kill
    it with 5 missiles (or 1 Super Missile).  Then you will need to kill a
    Space Pirate.  Scan one of the yellow panels near the ceiling to get a
    new Pirate Data (Metroid Studies).  Also scan a nearby computer for
    another Pirate Data (Meta Ridley).  Jump across the gap and scan a
    computer over here.  You will get another Pirate Data (Phazon Infusion).
    If you look at the catwalk that goes around and down in this part of the
    room, you will see a part where there is another small catwalk that is
    just above it.  Jump up onto this smaller catwalk and then ball up.  Go
    to the end of this catwalk and you will get Missile Expansion #17.  On the
    bottom floor go into the computer area to the left and you will find 2 new
    Pirate Datas (Metroid Forces and Metroid Morphology).  You will also find
    Energy Tank #6 in one of the glass tube things.  Shoot it with a Super
    Missile to get it out.  Now go through the purple door in the floor.
    
    RESEARCH CORE ACCESS
    Scan the Ice Beetle for your log book.  Now go through the purple door at
    the end.
    
    RESEARCH CORE
    First kill all of the enemies in the room that attack you.  Now from where
    you came in scan the red panel on the computers.  Now go down to the next
    floor and work your way to the bottom of the room scanning 2 more red
    panels along the way.  At the bottom you will get the Thermal Visor.  This
    is excellent for attacking Shadow Pirates (hint, hint).  Now the lights
    will go out.  Use your new Thermal Visor to make your way back to the top
    of the room and also keep your eyes open for the Metroids to attack, and
    they will.  At the top beside the door you will see an icon that you need
    to shoot with the Wave Beam to power the door.  You need your Thermal
    Visor to see it though.  Once you power the door shoot it to go through.
    
    **************************************************************************
    Part XII:  Get the Spider Ball
    **************************************************************************
    
    RESEARCH CORE ACCESS
    Scan the new Sentry Drone for your log book.  Now go back to the Ruined
    Courtyard.
    
    RUINED COURTYARD
    When you get there go to the door that is to your right as you enter this
    area.  Use a Super Missile on the Cordite seal above the door that isn't
    operational.  Now use your Thermal Visor and Wave Beam to find and shoot
    the icon above the door.  Now shoot the door with any beam and go through.
    
    QUARANTINE ACCESS
    Go through to the purple door at the other end.
    
    NORTH QUARANTINE TUNNEL
    Ball up and roll through the tunnel avoiding the Bombus' droppings as best
    you can.  You will need all of your health in the coming battle.
    
    QUARANTINE CAVE
    Approach the rock pile in the center of the room to begin the boss battle.
    BOSS BATTLE:  Thardus
    First scan Thardus for your log book.  Now equip your Thermal Visor.  This
    will show his weak points (in the order that they must be destroyed).
    Your Thermal Visor will periodically become overloaded, when this happens
    switch to your normal Combat Visor and then give it a couple of minutes.
    Use either Charged Beam shots or Missiles.  Dodge Thardus' attacks, and
    when he rolls around, dodge that as best you can too.  If you get frozen,
    rapidly tap B to break free.  Take your time on this battle and you will
    win.  After the battle get the Spider Ball upgrade.  Scan the Spider Ball
    Tracks in the room for a Research log.  Now go to Phendrana Shorelines.
    
    **************************************************************************
    Part XIII:  Get the Ice Beam
    **************************************************************************
    
    PHENDRANA SHORELINES
    Go to the side of the area that would take you to the Chapel of the
    Elders.  Now near the door look for a Cordite seal on the wall.  Use a
    Super Missile on it (you are not leaving Phendrana Shorelines).  Now scan
    the panel you just revealed.  Use the Spider Ball on the nearby track to
    get Missile Expansion #18.  Go to Ice Ruins East.
    
    ICE RUINS EAST
    When you enter this area begin to climb to the top.  After you jump over
    the broken bridge, ball up when you get over to the other side.  You will
    find a Spider Ball Track.  Follow the track to the end and you will get
    Missile Expansion #19.  Now go to Research Lab Hydra.
    
    RESEARCH LAB HYDRA
    Go completely to the top of the room where there are 2 tubes.  1 will have
    a Metroid the other you cannot see through.  Use a Super Missile on the
    one that you cannot see through and you will get Missile Expansion #20.
    Now go to back to the Quarantine Cave.
    
    QUARANTINE CAVE
    Go and use the Spider Ball Tracks to get to the other purple door that you
    can see on your map.
    
    SOUTH QUARANTINE TUNNEL
    Ball up and roll through here until you get to a purple door and go
    through.
    
    TRANSPORT TO MAGMOOR CAVERNS SOUTH
    Scan the elevator panel and take the elevator down.

    TRANSPORT TO PHENDRANA DRIFTS SOUTH
    Shoot open the missile door behind you and enter Save Station Magmoor B.
    Then go and open the purple door on the other side of this room.
    
    LAVA LAKE
    Blast the pillar in the center of the room with a Super Missile and you
    will get a Chozo Artifact (Nature).
    
    TRANSPORT TUNNEL C
    Avoid the fire jets and go through the purple door at the end.
    
    MAGMOOR WORKSTATION
    Kill the Flying Pirates and then get onto the floor.  Drop into the hole
    in the grating and kill the 2 Triclops.  Now equip your Thermal Visor and
    you will find 3 Wave Beam Targets throughout the room.  Once you shoot the
    third one go and drop into the hole in the grate and ball up.  Head to the
    door that is open and scan the panel in there.  Now roll to the newly
    opened chamber.  Scan the panel in here and then go to the last chamber.
    In here you will get Energy Tank #7.  Now go to the blue door that is to
    the left of where you came in.
    
    SOUTH CORE TUNNEL
    Scan the Puddle Spore for your log.  Then shoot it in the middle to make
    it flip over.  Jump on it and use it to cross the room, then shoot the
    purple door to go through.
    
    GEOTHERMAL CORE
    Use the Puddle Spores to reach the other side and go through the blue
    door.
    
    NORTH CORE TUNNEL
    Shoot the Stalactite and cross the room to the purple door.
    
    TWIN FIRES
    Shoot missiles at the stalactites that you find on the ceiling.  Go to the
    blue door at the end.
    
    TWIN FIRES TUNNEL
    Use the Spider Ball to get onto the track and go across the room.  Go
    through the blue door at the end.  Now go to the Ruined Fountain in Chozo
    Ruins.

    CHOZO RUINS
    ==========================================================================
    
    SUN TOWER
    Find and scan 4 Chozo Runes in the room and then take the Spider Ball
    Track all the way to the top.  Enter the blue door.  Make your way to
    the Sunchamber.
    
    SUNCHAMBER
    Kill the 3 Chozo Ghosts and claim the Chozo Artifact (Wild).
    
    MAIN PLAZA
    Go to the tree that is on the ground and across from the door to the
    Ruined Shrine.  On the tree you will see a broken off branch area that
    looks similar to a door.  Use a Super Missile on it and you will uncover
    Missile Expansion #21.  Jump to it from the ledge above the door to the
    Ruined Shrine Access.
    
    RUINED FOUNTAIN
    Go to the fountain and jump into it.  Now go into Morph Ball form and hold
    R so that you will grab onto the Spider Ball Track.  Follow the track to
    Missile Expansion #22.  Now go to the Dynamo.
    
    DYNAMO
    Use the Spider Ball Track to get to the top of the room and get Missile
    Expansion #23.  Now go to the Furnace.
    
    FURNACE
    Go up the Spider Ball Track and through the tunnel.  As soon as you stop,
    bomb jump.  Make your way to the to the open area at the end.  Now you
    will be in a large area.  Scan the Plated Parasites for a log entry.  Over
    to the left you will find a Morph Ball hole.  Above it is a Chozo Lore
    (Cradle) for you to scan.  Then enter the Morph Ball hole.
    
    CROSSWAY ACCESS WEST
    Just go through the purple door at the end of the tunnel.
    
    CROSSWAY
    Use the Boost Ball to get out on the far side of the half pipe.  Find the
    Cordite Seal over here and use a Super Missile on it and then scan it.
    Now go and get onto the Spider Ball Track then bomb jump into the Morph
    Ball Slot.  Now repeat this on the other side of the room.  Now quickly
    get back on the main floor on this side and enter the Morph Ball Hole with
    the piston in it.  At the top you will find Missile Expansion #24.  Now go
    back to the other side of the room and scan the 3 Chozo Lores
    (Infestation, Hatchling's Shell, Worm).  Now go out through the missile
    door on this side of the room.
    
    ELDER HALL ACCESS
    Just make it to the blue door at the other end.
    
    HALL OF THE ELDERS
    Enter the Morph Ball hole to the left.  Inside scan the Missile Station
    for another log book entry.  Now go back outside and drop to the floor.
    Scan the Chozo Ghost and kill it with the Power Beam (because there is
    nothing else period that will work).  Go and scan the Chozo Lore (Hope)
    behind the Chozo Statue.  Now go to the Chozo Statue and get into it's
    hands and ball up.  You will now be thrown onto a Spider Ball Track.  At
    the end get into the Morph Ball Slot and bomb it.  Now on the other side
    of the room go to where the purple Morph Ball Slot is that you just turned
    on.  Get inside of it and bomb it.  Now go and get back into the statue's
    hands.  Now that you are at the top of the room, roll to where the force
    field is and scan the red panel to turn it off.  Now go through the blue
    door that is nearby.
    
    REFLECTING POOL ACCESS
    Go through the blue door at the end.
    
    REFLECTING POOL
    Enter the pool and bomb the drain.  Now go around and kill all of the
    Stone Toads.  You will have to use the Boost Ball to do this.  Now on the
    top level of the room, there are 2 missile doors.  The 1 on the right
    leads to the Ice Beam.  The 1 on the left leads to Save Station 3.  Now
    go back to the Hall of the Elders.

    Part XIV:  Get the Gravity Suit

    Kill the Chozo Ghosts and then go to the white Morph Ball Slot and bomb
    it.  Now go to the Chozo Statue's hands and you will be thrown to Energy
    Tank #8.  Now go to Save Station 3.

    You may as well take this golden opportunity to save.  Then bomb jump into
    the Morph Ball hole.  Now follow the tunnel.

    FRIGATE CRASH SITE
    Use the Ice Beam followed by a missile to kill any Flying Pirate.  It's
    too easy now.  After you make sure that all of the enemies are dead, jump
    into the water and make your way to the other side and go through the
    missile door over there.
    
    WATERFALL CAVERN
    Just make your way to the blue door on the other side.
    
    LANDING SITE
    Save at your ship and then make your way over to Transport to Magmoor
    Caverns South in Phendrana Drifts.

    Go up the Spider Ball Track and through the white door.

    Drop into the water and scan the large fish looking thing called a Jelzap
    for your log book.  Now climb out of the water and work your way toward
    the top until you come to the lone purple door on the right (from where
    you entered) and go in (just for map) and come back out.  Now work your
    way around the room until you are at the top of the 2 purple doors that
    are lined one above the other.  Enter the top one.
    
    FROST CAVE ACCESS
    Make your way to the purple door at the end.
    
    FROZEN CAVE
    First scan the Glider floating around for your log book.  Then shoot down
    both of the Stalactites.  Enter the purple door that is to the right from
    where you came in.  You will enter Save Station C.  Now go back out and
    enter the other purple door.
    
    UPPER EDGE TUNNEL
    Make your way to the purple door at the end.
    
    PHENDRANA'S EDGE
    Drop into the water and enter the purple door down there.
    
    LOWER EDGE TUNNEL
    Go to the purple door at the end.
    
    HUNTER CAVE
    Shoot down the Stalactites and use them to make it to the purple door that
    is nearest the last one.
    
    LAKE TUNNEL
    Make your way to the purple door at the end.
    
    GRAVITY CHAMBER
    Walk forward and scan the Aqua Reapers and then make your way past them.
    Continue along until you reach some stairs.  Go up them and you will then
    find the Gravity Suit.  Now you can move freely underwater!  Go to the
    other purple door in this room.

    Make your way to the purple door at the end.

    Go through the purple door that is to the right of where you come in.
    Now make your way to the Watery Hall in Chozo Ruins.

    Get in the water and you will find a deep spot in the middle of the bend.
    Follow this to Missile Expansion #26.  Now make your way to the Frigate
    Crash Site in Tallon Overworld.

    TOWER OF LIGHT ACCESS
    Go through the purple door at the end.
    
    TOWER OF LIGHT
    In here look at the 4 pillars running up the sides of the room.  Some of
    the blocks in them will be cracked.  Shoot those blocks with 3 missiles
    each.  After you complete a set, the room will drop a little.  Repeat this
    process 4 times.  Then climb to the top.  Scan the Plated Puffer for your
    log.  At the top you will get the Wavebuster.  Head into the water at the
    bottom of the room and go through the purple door there.  Get the Chozo
    Artifact (Lifegiver).  Now head to the Root Cave in the Talon Overworld.

    Save and then head to the Frigate Crash Site.

    Go underwater and about midway look at the left wall and you will find
    Missile Expansion #27.  Then make your way to the other side and enter
    the white door that will let you into the Pirate Frigate.
    
    FRIGATE ACCESS TUNNEL
    Go to the blue door at the end.
    
    MAIN VENTILATION SHAFT SECTION C
    Go to the blue door at the end.
    
    MAIN VENTILATION SHAFT SECTION B
    Use the Thermal Visor and Wave Beam to open the first door.  Then proceed
    to the blue door at the end of the area.
    
    MAIN VENTILATION SHAFT SECTION A
    Scan the Tallon Crabs.  Then get to the blue door at the end.
    
    REACTOR CORE
    Drop down and scan the Aqua Pirates.  Now pull out your Thermal Visor and
    look for 4 Wave Beam icons.  After you have that done go through the door
    near the bottom.
    
    REACTOR ACCESS
    In here use the Thermal Visor and Wave Beam for more icons.  Then go into
    the Savestation to the right.  Once you do that go through the big door
    that you just unlocked.
    
    CARGO FREIGHT LIFT TO DECK GAMMA
    Blast the elevator door in front of you to claim Energy Tank #9.  Now put
    on the Thermal Visor and look for 3 Wave Beam icons to unlock the blue
    door at the top of the room.
    
    DECK BETA TRANSIT HALL
    Go to the blue door at the end.
    
    BIOHAZARD CONTAINMENT
    When you get into the water scan the Aqua Drones.  Then go to the first
    closed locker (from right to left) that you come to and fire a Super
    Missile at it, this will give you Missile Expansion #28 .  You will find 3
    more hidden Wave Beam icons in this room to unlock the blue door at the
    end.  Continue to the blue door at the end of the room.
    
    DECK BETA SECURITY HALL
    Go to the blue door at the end.
    
    BIOTECH RESEARCH AREA 1
    Guess what?  3 more hidden Wave Beam icons.  Go to blue door.
    
    DECK BETA CONDUIT HALL
    Go to the blue door at the end.
    
    CONNECTION ELEVATOR TO DECK BETA
    First scan the Aqua Sac on the wall in front of you.  Then drop to the
    bottom and go through the blue door.

    Ball up and roll into the tunnel.  When you get to a part where you drop
    down and there is an opening above you, bomb jump all the way to the top
    of the chute and you will claim Energy Tank #10.  Go through the blue door
    at the end.

    Make your way around to the bottom white door and go through.

    Go to the white door at the end.

    Scan the elevator panel and take the elevator down.

    Drop to the ground and move to the left to a Spider Ball Track.  Go up it
    and into the purple door there.  Back here scan the door panel and enter
    Save Station Mines A.  Then go back outside and scan the Mega Turrets for
    your log.  Now go to the far side from where you entered and scan the 2
    door panels that are over there.  Take the scaffolding up to the top of
    the area.  Find the hidden Wave Beam icon and then activate the crane
    controls.  Now Spider Ball all the way to Missile Expansion #29.  Go
    through the now open force field and enter the white door.
    
    SECURITY ACCESS A
    Go to the white door at the end.
    
    MINE SECURITY STATION
    Until further notice the Wave Beam is your best friend!  Scan the purple
    pirates you see.  They are the Wave Troopers.  The only thing that hurts
    them is the Wave Beam.  Once the room is clear head to the purple door at
    the end.
    
    SECURITY ACCESS B
    Go to the purple door at the end.
    
    ELITE RESEARCH
    Scan the ground computer units to get the platforms activated and to get
    a Pirate Data (Elite Pirates).  Now go up to the second floor and scan the
    computer panel to activate some more platforms.  Now on the third floor
    scan the Power Trooper.  Also scan the computer panel so that you can
    activate the cannon.  Get into the Spinner to position it and then once
    you have it positioned, scan the panel to fire.  You will find Missile
    Expansion #30 by doing this.  Then go through the white door that you
    uncover.
    
    RESEARCH ACCESS
    Move to the bottom and go through the white door.
    
    ORE PROCESSING
    This room has multiple Spider Ball Tracks.  Get into the machine on the
    floor and lay bombs until the blue track is lined up with the blue track
    section that is up at the top leading to the second floor.  Now go up the
    blue track.  On the second floor, bomb the machine until the red track is
    line up with the red track section up at the third floor.  Then go back to
    the ground floor and line up this red track with the one above it then
    take the red track up to the third floor.  Go through the white door.
    
    ELEVATOR ACCESS A
    Go into the white door at the bottom.
    
    ELEVATOR A
    Scan the elevator panel and then take the elevator down to the second area
    of the mines.  Go through the white door at the bottom.
    
    ELITE CONTROL ACCESS
    As you come around the corner look at the overpass thing.  See that
    explosive box?  Shoot a missile at it.  You will also eliminate your
    opposition for this room.  Get Missile Expansion #31 then go through the
    purple door.
    
    ELITE CONTROL
    In here you will have a boss fight.
    BOSS BATTLE:  Elite Pirate
    First scan it.  Now use your Thermal Visor.  Shoot a Super Missile at the
    red area on it's back.  Then take it out with either missiles or Super
    Missiles.  
    After it's dead head up the ramp a little ways and then scan the Ice
    Trooper.  Only vulnerable to Ice Beam, duh.  Once the room is clear of
    enemies it's time to find some Pirate Data.  There are 3 Pirate Datas
    on the bottom floor (Metroid Prime, The Hunter, Hunter Weapons).  There
    are 4 Pirate Datas on the top floor (Prime Breach, Chozo Ghosts, Chozo
    Studies, Chozo Artifacts, and Prime Mutations).  Also scan the other red
    panel to unlock the rest of the area.  Then leave via the white door.
    
    VENTILATION SHAFT
    Get to the white door ASAP!
    
    OMEGA RESEARCH
    Get to the ground level to scan the Pirate Data (Omega Pirate).  Then
    leave via the white door.
    
    DYNAMO ACCESS
    Just go through the White door at the other end.
    
    CENTRAL DYNAMO
    First use a Super Missile on the invisible drone.  Then drop into the
    Morph Ball hole and go around the maze until you get the Power Bombs.  Now
    back topside, go into the white door that does not have any debris in
    front of it and save.  After you save and use a Power Bomb to clear the
    debris from in front of the other door you may find some Power Bomb
    Ammunition, when you do, scan it.  Then go through the new white door.

    Part XVI:  Get the Grappling Beam
    **************************************************************************
    
    CENTRAL DYNAMO
    Climb up the various ledges in the room and enter the upper white door.
    Now it is time to do some back-tracking.
    
    OMEGA RESEARCH
    Place a Power Bomb in front of the debris blocking the white door on the
    upper level and enter the Map Station for the mines and get the map.
    
    VENTILATION SHAFT
    As you enter the room, there will be a grate on the floor in front of you
    in the half pipe.  Set a Power Bomb on it and then go into the hole you
    created.  On the other side scan the panel in there to clear the room.
    Also you will unlock Energy Tank #11.  Now make your way to Ore Processing
    and we'll pick up from there.
    
    ELITE RESEARCH
    Go to the container that has the Elite Pirate in it at the bottom of the
    room.  Use a Power Bomb to open it.  First scan and then Kill the Phazon
    Elite.  This is the only Phazon Elite that I have found in the game.  You
    will get a Chozo Artifact (Warrior).
    
    ORE PROCESSING
    From where you come back in on the third floor go to the bomb machine to
    the right.  Place a Power Bomb to clear the debris.  In the machine plant
    bombs to line up the yellow track like you did the red and blue ones
    earlier.  Take the yellow track all the way to the top of the room and go
    through the white door.
    
    STORAGE DEPOT B
    Get the Grapple Beam and then go back outside.  Return to Ore Processing.

    Part XVII:  Get the X-Ray Visor
    **************************************************************************
    
    ORE PROCESSING
    Scan the Grapple Point and then go through the white door at the top.
    
    WASTE DISPOSAL
    Go through the morph ball hole and when you come out you will be able to
    go through the white door to the Main Quarry.
    
    SECURITY ACCESS A
    Blow up the debris on the wall with a Power Bomb to get Missile
    Expansion #32.  Now go to the Great Tree Hall in the Tallon Overworld.

    GREAT TREE HALL
    Make your way up the various platforms until you reach a Spinner.  Use it
    to open a gate.  Now make your way to the white door at the top of the
    room.  Go through the white door.
    
    LIFE GROVE TUNNEL
    Place a Power Bomb to clear the debris.  Now enter the Morph Ball tunnel.
    When you get to the large bowl shaped part of the track use the Boost Ball
    to make it to the top side of it.  In the center place a bomb and you will
    get Missile Expansion #33.
    
    LIFE GROVE
    Get the X-Ray Visor in the center of the area.  Use the X-Ray Visor and
    a Power Bomb to make a way out of here.  Go to the waterfall at the
    bottom of the life grove and look in the water.  You will see a circle
    with a symbol on it near the waterfall in the deeper area of the water.
    Use a Power Bomb to reveal a Spinner.  Use the Spinner and you will get
    a Chozo Artifact (Chozo).  Now make your way to the top of the room.  Up
    at the top you will have to fight 3 Chozo Ghosts.  Once they are dead
    (again) go into the Morph Ball hole that was just shown to you.  Now go
    to Ruined Shrine Access in Chozo Ruins.

    Part XVIII:  Get the Plasma Beam
    **************************************************************************
    
    GREAT TREE HALL
    Make your way to the top of the room where the 2 Bloodflowers are.  Now
    use your X-Ray Visor to find an invisible platform.  Use it to reach the
    top blue door.
    
    GREAT TREE CHAMBER
    Go inside to collect Missile Expansion #34.  Now go to the Furnace in
    Chozo Ruins.

    CHOZO RUINS
    ==========================================================================
    
    FURNACE
    Place a Power Bomb on the floor after scanning for a weak spot.  Now you
    will have a half pipe to use.  Go from there onto the Spider Ball Tracks.
    Go across them until you get to Missile Expansion #35.
    
    HALL OF THE ELDERS
    Shoot the red Morph Ball Slot and activate it.  Go into the white door
    that you just revealed and in the room below you will get a Chozo Artifact
    (World).
    
    RUINED FOUNTAIN
    Go into the blue door that you have not been through yet.
    
    MEDITATION FOUNTAIN
    Go through to the blue door.
    
    MAGMA POOL
    Use the Grapple Points to get across the room.  On the far side place a
    Power Bomb.  Scan the Chozo Lore (Newborn) and get the Power Bomb
    Expansion #1.  Then go through the purple door.
    
    TRAINING CHAMBER ACCESS
    Go to where you find leaves on the left side of the tunnel and ball up.
    You will find a hidden tunnel behind the leaves that will take you to
    Missile Expansion #36.  Go through the purple door.
    
    TRAINING CHAMBER
    Kill the Chozo Ghosts in here.  Now in the center is a half pipe with 2
    Morph Ball Slots.  Place a bomb in each one.  One of them will lower a
    piston on the other side of the room.  Quickly get to that one and ride
    it to where you can get on a Spider Ball Track.  Follow this to Energy
    Tank #12.  Now go back into the main part of the room and go through the
    other Morph Ball Tunnel near the floor.
    
    PISTON TUNNEL
    Take the tunnel to the end and you will wind up back up in the Main Plaza.
    
    MAIN PLAZA
    Use the nearby Grapple Point to swing to Missile Expansion #37.  Go to the
    Triclops Pit in Magmoor Caverns.

    MAGMOOR CAVERNS
    ==========================================================================
    
    TRICLOPS PIT
    As you enter from the Pit Tunnel look to the right using the X-Ray Visor
    and you will see some invisible platforms.  Jump on them.  When you reach
    the third one look at the stone pillar in front of you and you will see
    Missile Expansion #38 inside.  Use a Super Missile to liberate it, then
    jump to it.  Now go to the Shore Tunnel.
    
    SHORE TUNNEL
    Use a Power Bomb in the middle of the bridge in here and you will blow
    out the glass.  Go under the bridge to get the Ice Spreader.
    
    MONITOR STATION
    Go to the top of the room and get onto the top of the computer tower.  Use
    the Spinner to activate the suspension bridge.  Follow the path to the
    blue door.
    
    WARRIOR SHRINE
    Get the Chozo Artifact (Stregnth) and then use a Power Bomb in front of
    the Chozo Statue.  Drop through the hole.
    
    FIERY SHORES
    Collect Power Bomb Expansion #2.  Now head to the Geothermal Core.
    
    GEOTHERMAL CORE
    Since you are following my instructions you will be entering from the
    North Core Tunnel.  Get across the room and climb the ledges that are to
    the right of the door as you approach.  Use the nearby Grapple Point to
    land on a circular ledge.  Jump to another circular ledge that is near
    you.  Now take and jump on a circular ledge that is near to you but a
    little lower with a Spinner on it.  Use the Spinner to raise the platform
    until it locks in place.  Repeat this process until all 3 circular ledges
    have been raised.  Then go to the one with the Spider Ball Track and take
    it up.  Go to the highest platform and then place a bomb in the Morph Ball
    Slot.  This will raise the roof.  You can now also get onto a Spider Ball
    Track.  Do this.  You will go across various Spider Ball Tracks to reach a
    white door at the top.  Enter.
    
    PLASMA PROCESSING
    Get the Plasma Beam and then leave.  Go to the Chozo Ice Temple in
    Phendrana Drifts.

    Part XIX:  Get the Phazon Suit

    PHENDRANA DRIFTS

    CHOZO ICE TEMPLE
    Shoot the Chozo Statue with the Plasma Beam to unfreeze the water.  Then
    go through the Morph Ball hole and get the Chozo Artifact (Sun).
    
    CONTROL TOWER
    Go into the top of one of the towers and equip your Thermal Visor.  Look
    out the side window and you will see some explosive tanks that are yellow
    out that window.  Shoot a missile at them and then go into the hole that
    gets created.  At the bottom you will get Chozo Artifact (Elder).
    
    TRANSPORT ACCESS
    Use the Plasma Beam to get Energy Tank #13.  Now go to Phendrana's Edge.
    
    FROST CAVE
    Use the Glider to get across the room to the ledge with the 2 boxes on top
    of it.  Once you are up there look up and you will find a Stalactite.
    Shoot it with a missile and then follow it into the water to get Missile
    Expansion #39.
    
    PHENDRANA'S EDGE
    Make your way to the top of the room and go through the Morph Ball Tunnel
    that you find.  Go near the top of the area and use your X-Ray Visor to
    find a hidden door near the top.  Use a Power Bomb to reveal it and the
    Plasma Beam to enter. Inside you will collect a Chozo Artifact (Spirit).
    
    SECURITY CAVE
    Go in here to collect Power Bomb Expansion #3.  Now head for the
    Quarantine Cave.
    
    GRAVITY CHAMBER
    Go to the end of the room that has the ice-cicles hanging from the ceiling.
    It is also the side of the room with the purple door that takes you to
    Chamber Access.  Get out of the water there and shoot the ice-cicles on the
    ceiling.  You will reveal a Grapple Point.  Use that to get to Missile
    Expansion #40.
    
    QUARANTINE CAVE
    Use the Grapple Points to reach the Morph Ball Tunnel.
    
    QUARANTINE MONITOR
    Get Missile Expansion #41.  Now head to Ice Ruins West.
    
    ICE RUINS WEST
    Coming from the Courtyard Entryway you will see 2 structures right in
    front of you.  Jump to the second one and you will see that it has an ice
    covering on top.  Shoot the covering with the Plasma Beam and get Power
    Bomb Expansion #4 (That's all of them).  Next stop Phendrana Shorelines.
    
    PHENDRANA SHORELINES
    Coming out of Save Station B, when you first get to the mouth of the cave,
    turn right.  You will see a pillar with Missile Expansion #42 trapped
    inside.  Use the Plasma Beam to get it.  Now for Ice Ruins East.
    
    ICE RUINS EAST
    Look around and you will find Missile Expansion #43 trapped in ice.  Use
    the Plasma Beam to get it.  Now head back to the Ruined Shrine in Chozo
    Ruins.

    TALON OVERWORLD

    ROOT CAVE
    Make your way up to the top of the area near the red door.  Use your X-Ray
    Visor and you will find Missile Expansion #44 behind some leaves.  Now go
    through the red door.
    
    ARBOR CHAMBER
    Collect Missile Expansion #45.  Now head to the Mine Security Station in
    Phazon Mines.

    PHAZON MINES

    MINE SECURITY STATION
    When you get near the purple door at the end, you will see a gate that you
    can blow open using a Power Bomb.  Do that and then scan the computer
    panel.  Go back to the red door that you passed and enter.
    
    STORAGE DEPOT A
    Get the Flamethrower upgrade and leave.  Go to the Central Dynamo.
    
    CENTRAL DYNAMO
    Go through the white door across from the save station.
    
    QUARANTINE ACCESS A
    As you enter make sure that you ball up.  There is a hole in the floor on
    the right side of the hallway.  Drop into the hole and roll to where you
    can get out.  You will now be behind the Auto Turrets.  Scan the wall
    panel across from you to disable them.  If you need missiles, health, or
    anything then destroy them.  Otherwise go through the purple door.
    
    METROID QUARANTINE A
    As you begin to enter the room scan the red computer panel that is to your
    right as you come in.  This will let out some Metroids to take care of
    your pest problem in this room.  When it is time to kill the Metroids
    shoot them with the Ice Beam then shoot them with a missile.  Now enter
    the section of the area the Metroids were stuck in.  Jump onto the
    mushrooms to the left and use the X-Ray Visor to find the invisible
    platforms.  Make your way to the other side and then climb another
    mushroom and take another invisible platform.  On the other side use
    2 Power Bombs to get rid of some walls (X-Ray Visor).  Go to the Spider
    Ball Track that is on the other side near where you came in.  Go across
    and get onto another invisible platform.  Take this to Missile Expansion
    #46.  Now take the other Spider Ball Tracks to the white door.
    
    ELEVATOR ACCESS B
    Go through the red door on the other side.
    
    ELEVATOR B
    Scan the elevator panel and take the elevator down.  Open the red door and
    go through.
    
    FUNGAL HALL ACCESS
    Drop all the way down to the floor and ball up.  Grab Missile Expansion
    #47 and go through the red door.  You will lose some health.
    
    FUNGAL HALL A
    As you enter scan the Hunter Metroids that you can see.  Then kill them
    the same way that you do regular Metroids.  Kill them all before you begin
    the next part.  Jump from mushroom to mushroom until you get to the
    Glider.  Grapple onto it and land on the last mushroom.  Go through the
    white door at the end.
    
    PHAZON MINING TUNNEL
    Power Bomb the debris and enter the hole.  There is a part where there
    are long blocks that disappear.  Boost ball past them.  Go through the
    red door.
    
    FUNGAL HALL B
    There are several Metroids in here.  You know the drill.  When you get to
    the back where you see a red door to the right go to it and there is a
    ring of small mushrooms under it.  Place a bomb in the center of the
    mushrooms to get Missile Expansion #48.  Go into the red door that is to
    the left to reload on your missiles.  Then come back out and go through
    the right red door.
    
    QUARANTINE ACCESS B
    Use your X-Ray Visor to find the Invisible Bombus and the Wave Beam to
    kill them.  Then make your way to the red door.
    
    METROID QUARANTINE B
    First scan the Plasma Troopers and then take them out with the Plasma
    Beam.  Then make your way to the other side of the room and scan the
    red panel to turn off the force field.  Kill some more baddies.  Scan one
    of the computers on the bottom floor for another Pirate Data (Special
    Forces).  Look with your X-Ray Visor for a tank that has Missile Expansion
    #49.  Use a Super Missile to get it.  Now go to the red door on the bottom
    floor and save (finally!).  Now go back out and go through the other red
    door in this area.
    
    ELITE QUARTERS ACCESS
    Kill the Plasma Trooper and then shoot the ice above the door.  Go through
    the red door.
    
    ELITE QUARTERS
    When you enter scan the Omega Pirate from a distance.  Then get ready for
    one hell of a boss battle.
    BOSS BATTLE:  Omega Pirate
    Unless you know what to do this battle is insane.  You will notice on the
    Omega Pirate that it has 4 different plates on it.  Target them one at a
    time and take each one out with a Super Missile.  After you get rid of
    them all, the Omega Pirate will become Invisible.  Break out the X-Ray
    Visor.  Also Omega will let out some friends to keep you busy.  Ignore
    them.  Look at all of the Phazon deposits for Omega.  When you see him
    trying to recharge, launch a Super Missile at him.  Repeat until he is
    dead.
    After the battle you will get the Phazon Suit.  Go through the red door
    at the top of the room.

    Part XX:  Get the Chozo Artifacts

    If you have been following along you will already have most of the Artifacts.
    I will also have you get the rest of the items that you may have missed.

    PHAZON MINES

    PHAZON MINING TUNNEL
    Bomb your way to the bottom of the room where you will find a Chozo
    Artifact (Newborn).
    
    PROCESSING CENTER ACCESS
    Grab Energy Tank #14 (That's all of them) and then scan the panel beside
    the gate.  Go forward to the red door.
    
    PHAZON PROCESSING CENTER
    Eliminate the room of enemies first off.  Now make your way about half way
    up the room and go to the far side from where you entered.  There will be
    a ledge with explosive boxes.  Destroy them and then go to that ledge and
    set a Power Bomb.  You will get Missile Expansion #50.  Go to the Landing
    Site on Tallon Overworld.

    Part XXI:  Defeat Meta Ridley

    TALLON OVERWORLD

    LANDING SITE
    Go to your ship and save and reload.
    
    ARTIFACT TEMPLE
    As you enter the large outdoor area you will be attacked by Meta Ridley.
    BOSS BATTLE:  Meta Ridley
    First scan it.  Now lock onto it and fire Super Missiles at it.  Dodge
    his attacks.  His only weak point is his chest.  Once you get his energy
    low enough he will drop to the ground and begin to use melee attacks.
    Avoid his attacks as best you can and wait for him to use his laser breath
    for your attacks.  Shoot a Super Missile at his head and then fire at his
    chest.  This battle will be over in no time.

    Part XXII:  Defeat Metroid Prime
    **************************************************************************
    
    LANDING SITE
    After defeating Meta Ridley go back to your ship and save and reload.
    
    ARTIFACT TEMPLE
    Go into the portal that opened when you defeated Meta Ridley.

    IMPACT CRATER

    CRATER ENTRY POINT
    Go over to the Save Station and save.  Now go through the red door.
    
    CRATER TUNNEL A
    Scan the Lumigek.  Avoid the orange phazon and make your way to the red
    door.
    
    PHAZON CORE
    Scan the Fusion Metroids that you come across in here.  If you feel one
    of them getting close ball up and use a Power Bomb.  Go to the teeth at
    the back of the room and then use the various platforms to make it to a
    red door.  Inside the red door you will find a Missile Station.  Then go
    back out.  Go to the end of the walkway where you will see some more
    platforms.  Use these to get to the other red door in the room.
    
    CRATER TUNNEL B
    Use the Spider Ball Tracks to cross the room.  Go through the red door at
    the end.
    
    PHAZON INFUSION CHAMBER
    Here you will see Metroid Prime.  Let me tell you, it's damn ugly!  Just
    follow it into the next room.
    
    SUBCHAMBER ONE
    BOSS BATTLE:  Metroid Prime
    First scan it.  Now look at the color of it's veins.  See the color?  That
    tells you what beam you want to be using.  Use Charge Beam shots and it
    will eventually become stunned.  After that happens the veins will change
    color.  Repeat this and Metroid Prime will retreat to another room.
    
    SUBCHAMBER TWO
    This is the same as the room above.  But this time there are 3 beam
    switches.
    
    SUBCHAMBER THREE
    This is the same as the past 2 rooms.  There are 4 beam switches.
    
    SUBCHAMBER FOUR
    This is similar to above but now Metroid Prime will switch colors at any
    given time.  Take it down!
    
    SUBCHAMBER FIVE
    Now it is time for round two!  Scan Metroid Prime again.  This time just
    wait for it to drop Phazon deposits and then go and stand in them.  It
    will also release Fusion Metroids when it does this.  Use a Power Bomb
    to remove them from play.  Go and stand in the Phazon Deposits and you
    will see the words "Hyper Beam"  Press and hold in fire to smoke Metroid
    Prime.  You will have to do this a couple of times.  But then it is over.
    
    Enjoy the ending you get.  There are 3 different ones, and the one you get
    depends on your completion percentage of the game.
