"Crave Entertainment has done it again.....Failure!"

When I first purchased this game I was truly disappointed by all the game had to offer. Though this game has its little pros and many cons, it still delivers a wrestling/fighting game, which…will appeal to you…for a very short time.

Sound: 3/10
When this game comes to sound, it is really repetitive. In the main screen, it plays the exact same music over and over again. As for the actual fighting part well, theirs not much to it. All you can hear aside from the crowd yelling is the force of your arm and leg punching and kicking, as well as the groans of your fighters. So besides that it's pretty tranquil.

Graphics: 7/10
This is the only real good part of the game. The characters face and bodies are that of the original. Though when your actually fighting you really can't see anybodies faces since your fighter's back is faced to you. Besides, the actual fighting is clear and I've never encountered any flaws with graphics. But collectively, graphics still can't make this game come together.

Gameplay: 3/10
The gameplay isn't all that bad, its just what the game has to offer (in terms of the actual fighting) that makes it seem disappointing. There are plenty of different modes such as Arcade Mode, Champion Mode, Legend Mode, Tournament Mode, Exhibition Mode, and The Career Mode. This game does have a lot to offer but its really all the same fighting. There are no special modes that will let you play with weapons or different types of fighting matches. Generally Crave Entertainment could have done a better job in discovering the interest in the gamers rather than just throwing done some basic generic game, that looks like it was a waste of EVERYONES time....and MONEY!!

Replayability: Low ( 3/10)
I would say that you could see all this game has to offer in-between about 1 to 3 hours (depending on how devoted you are). Because the matter of the fact is that even if you really love the UFC, you will still get tired of this game.
For me the replayability is low. Though it got dusty, I took it out and gave it another shot (about 5 months later). It didn't truly fulfill my needs but it showed me that this game could have been way, way better if Crave Entertainment gave a little more effort in it.

Final Thoughts:
If you're a HUGE fan of the UFC then you go ahead and get this game. Also if you're the type of person who plays games with other people (multiplayer) Then you really can't go wrong since now this game is under $10.
And for those who would just play this game by yourself, don't bother. I would recommend an actual wrestling games from THQ, also known as WWE games.

UFC: Throwdown is the only kind of its genre to unleash itself on the Nintendo Gamecube platform. And this game made a terrible first impression for the series as well as future fighting/wrestling game titles to come.
