"The great thing - the dungeons are different and a bit more challenging. The always great thing - this game is still just as good as the 1998 one."
Introduction - The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time/Master Quest is just a fantastic game. Just as good as the one in 1998. The same story is still going on. Link waking up and Navi the fairy taking him on a grand adventure through the land of Hyrule in an attempt to destroy his enemy, Ganondorf, and save the Princess Zelda. Link, like the 1998 one, still encounters the same enemies, the same towns, forests, cities, mountains, and lakes. The dungeons also have the same name, however the dungeons in the Master Quest have all been formatted differently with harder puzzles; puzzles that even hard core zelda players have to put their thinking cap on. But the same story is in this game, but in my opinion that doesn't change this game and it never gets old. 10/10
Story - Pretty much summed up above., like I said no different from original Ocarina of Time, but never gets old. 10/10
Gameplay - Even though basically the same game, still exploring Hyrule is just as fun as exploring Termina in Majora's Mask. And to add to the fun, this game has those different formatted dungeons, which makes it much more fun. Also this game comes with the original Ocarina of Time, so you can play the exact one from 1998, which is just downright cool. Control on this game is just excellent, really no different from N64 controller. Smooth controls. In terms of difficulty, this game will probably be a bit on the hard side if you don't really play Zelda, and still be a bit hard if this is your first time playing it, but not really too hard if you play it a lot or played iot once already. 10/10
Graphics/Sound/Music - The graphics in this game are really the same compared to the twin. Although they do look a little clearer and a bit more updated. But yes the graphics are stupendous. Sound is excellent, same here as well; no different. Music is still the same and will always be one of favorite soundtracks. Just one difference in the music - The Fire Temple is a bit different. But great music as usually. 10/10
Play Time/Replayability - The play time will differ in this game, due to all sidequests that await you and the hardness of the dungeon's puzzles. Replayability is definitely high - going through dungeons that you have never seen formatted like this before, will have you coming back for another fantastic go through of this fantastic game. 10/10
Final Recommendation - Ohhhh, what are you doing, get out there and buy this or go on Ebay and buy this, you are surely in for a treat here. You won't regret it. Yes the land of Hyrule is the same, but the dungeons are completely formatted differently. An excellent Zelda game for the library. 10/10
