"How can a game break ground twice?"
Strangely enough The legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time was brought back to the Gamecube for a special deal. Not only did it create mass chaos In Japan but also in the rest of the world when it was announced one month before the game that had to be reserved was released. The game made its first debut in 1998 where it was named one of the greatest games and one of the most ground breaking as well. The Legend of Zelda series is one if not the most anticipated series of all Nintendo games. When a game is announced you know it. In this review you will find just about everything you need to know on why this game is considered to be one of the best ever.
Well even though NIntendo just copied the game to a disc state somehow the graphics are better. They are alot clearer which is good when playing a game it takes out on eye strain. Also the game is alot smoother the characters are not as jagged as they used to be. The background even works better it doesn't blank out and stuff like it used to on 64.
There isn't much to say on why the sound is so good. One because its on CD and not on cartridge so it sounds better than before. Second it already sounded good in the past.
Well its an adventure game so pretty much you wander around and kill things while completing a quest. You get different items powerups and magic stuff. It is also a decent amount of time you spend playing it, its not short or too long.
The story is great it follows through real well which is what you would expect from a Zelda game. There isn't many plot twists but it doesn't matter because they would really mees up the storyline and make it bad.
The control is excellent after a little bit of adjustment to the GC controller. Once you get used to it it seems better than the 64 controller mostly because of the Gamcube's controller's size.
Whats there to say really. Overall it is a great game and really worth getting. The game truly will keep you busy for awhile not just beating it but playing it afterwards.
Preorder or not?
Definitley preorder. I mean it is free so its not costing anything and it is so much fun you would really be missing out if you didn't. Not to mention the fact that the expansion to Ocarina the Master Quest is on it which will lead to even more fun.
I hope you found this review informative and thanks for spending the time to read it.
