Monday, August 6th, 2001 - Version 0.6

Finally, after consuming tons of beef jerky, I have finally completed the
entire walkthrough for Super Mario Advance. Not only that, but I have also
slightly reformatted the guide and added in a better legal section. AKA one
with no typos. :P All Ace Coins and Yoshi Eggs are next update. After that
I’ll be wrapping up this guide. Wooray!

Saturday, July 28th, 2001 - Version 0.5

Well this update is quite a substantial one. I finished the walkthrough for
all of world 5. Along with that, I have also added in three other sections
to this document. One is how to post this FAQ on your website, the second
shows signs on whether or not your a certified Mario Advance Maniac, and I
have finally got around to including the credits. :P The walkthrough will be
completely finished next update, which is in a few days. Then it’s on to
finishing the other sections. I’m slowly closing in on finishing this FAQ,
but having fun none the less.

Monday, July 23, 2001 - Version 0.4

I’m back from vacation everyone! I have saltwater shoved in my lungs, sand
rammed up my ears and the South Carolina girls in sky blue bikinis are but a
glean in my eye. Can you guess where I’ve been? :P Well anyway, enough about
me. I finished the walkthrough for all of world 4. The walkthrough should be
finished in the next update or two. I’ve been playing too much Castevania:
Circle of the Moon. My bad. 92.5% clearance rate however!

Friday, July 13, 2001 - Version 0.3

Thank god I finished the entire walkthrough for world 3. That world was so
long and boring. I’m off to my vacation now, so I wouldn’t be answering my
email or updating this document for a week. If I told you where I was going,
I’d have to kill you. :P See you sometime next week!

Wednesday, July 10, 2001 - Version 0.2

I’ve been playing Super Mario Advance so much I actually ran through a pair
of batteries in only two days! I love this game! :P Well the entire FAQ part
of the document is finished and the walkthrough is done for world 1 and 2.

Monday, July 8, 2001 - Version 0.1

Woohoo! I’m back baby yea! I’ve decided to make fewer updates, but more
“meat” in each one, so don’t expect a update everyday. :P Thank god I chose
a Gameboy Advance game this time, since my PC is an another room then my
game consoles. Getting the framework of a document is the hardest part. The
run through of basic gameplay is almost finished. Walkthrough for all of
World 1 and the first course of World 2 is finished... I need to add in Ace
coins and the 1-UP mushroom locations.

============================================================================
                           2. Typical Mario Story
============================================================================

This comes directly from the manual. Why bother writing a better story when
someone else has said it best? :P

Subcon’s Story

One night, Mario had a mysterious dream. He dreamed he was climbing a
long stairway that led up and up to a closed door. When he reached the top
and opened the door, he found himself gazing out at a world he had never
seen, stretching out to the horizon. Then he heard a voice say, “This is
Subcon, the land of dreams. The evil toad, Wart, has used his magic to lay a
curse upon the land. Please defeat Wart and free us from his spell. Oh - and
remember that Wart hates vegetables. Hurry! We need your help!” And then a
bolt of lightning suddenly split the sky, and Mario woke up to find himself
on the floor. He had fallen out of bed! A few days later, Mario and his
friends hiked to some nearby mountains for a picnic. Upon reaching their
picnic spot, they looked around and found a small cave. When they entered
the cave, they were amazed to discover the land Mario had seen in his dream
stretching out before them.

How catchy! :P

============================================================================
                             3. Game Controls
============================================================================

Here are the controls for Super Mario Advance. There pretty basic, that
is considering the Game Boy Advance only has 6 buttons and a control-pad.

A Button -- The most used button in the game. Press the A button to
make your character jump, or confirm something on a menu.

B Button -- Use the B button to grab enemies or uproot plants. With
the object in hand, press B again to chuck it away. Also a
cancel button on menus in the game.

Start Button -- This button pauses your game. Also can be used as a
                  confirm button on many menus.

Select Button -- Almost as useless as the R button but not quite. On any
menu, pressing the select button moves the pointer down
only. Why not use the control pad?

Control Pad -- Well this one’s a big duh. Use the control pad to move
your character throughout all of Super Mario Advance. Also
                  moves the pointer on menus.

L Button -- This button controls a really nice feature added into the
Super Mario Bros. 2 portion of Super Mario Advance. Press
the L button to make the screen scroll slightly up or down
to get a better view. Your character has to be stationary
                  for it to work though.

R Button -- After shifting through fifty billion emails, I’ve come to
the conclusion the R button has a purpose. While walking
with the control pad, press the R button to run. Perfect
when you have an object in your hand, that way you may run
without chucking it away. Now, stop emailing me.

============================================================================
                        4. Learn the Basic Gameplay
============================================================================

Discussed below are the skills you will need to master in order to beat
the Super Mario Bros. 2 portion of Super Mario Advance. All are pretty
simple to learn. I mean, this is a basic Mario platformer after all.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
JUMPING SKILLS
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jump ~ Use the A button to jump over obstacles like pits, hills,
(A) and enemies. Also jump to reach higher places like ledges
                  and secret areas.

Super Jump ~ Sometimes certain ledges and places can only be accessed
(-v + A) with a jump higher then normal -- a super jump. Hold down
on the control pad and your character will get into a
crouching position. Wait for your character to flash like
a light bulb then press A. Your character will jump much
higher in the air then normal.

Running Jump ~ Catch some big air. If you make your character run
(-> + A) forward, and jump while running, it will make him/her
cover much more ground. Good for large pits.

Glide Jump ~ If you happen to be smart enough to pick Peach as your
(PEACH ONLY) character, (hint :P ) then you can platform the game much
easier with this special glide jump. Press A to jump like
normal, but instead of letting go of the button, hold it
down. Peach will float in the air. Press the control pad
to steer in the direction you want her to float. Floating
                  lasts about two seconds, tops.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
LIFTING, CHUCKING, AND DIGGING
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Grab ~ The B button allows you to grab a hold of plants or
(B) enemies. Simply stand above the red tuff of the plant
sticking out the ground to uproot something. Or you can
jump on top of enemies and scoop them up.

Chuck ~ When your character has and object in its grasp, just
(B) press B to chuck it aside when you want too.

Digging ~ In some places of worlds 2 and 6 you will be required to
(B) dig down through the soft sand. Stand on top of the sand
and press B to dig down through one layer.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
IF I ONLY HAD A HEART
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Keep your character alive! Sounds simple right? Well there are a few
ways to get health. Whenever you start a course you have two hits. These are
symbolized by the health meter of two hearts on the left side of the screen.
You can find growth hearts to replenish your health if you get hit by these
following methods:

1.) Sometimes growth hearts are found floating in the air. This usually
occurs in tricky areas of a level or right before a Birdo/world boss.

2.) When pulling up plants, sometimes a plant will release a growth heart
when it is uprooted allowing you to collect the health.

3.) If you grab a giant-sized enemy, chuck it at the ground and it will roll
over releasing a growth heart into the air. You can repeat this process
until the enemy dies or you accidentally throw the giant enemy at something.

4.) If you chuck some type vegetable, a key, a mushroom block, a red shell,
or another enemy, and it hits at least two other enemies in a chain
reaction, it will release a growth heart into the air.

5.) If you hit any enemy in the game with a red shell and it kills it, you
get a growth heart.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
CLIMBING ALONG
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Learn to climb up silver chains or vines in levels. Press up or down on
the control pad to accomplish this. Hoping between chains takes a bit more
practice, but just make sure to press a hard right or left when doing so.
Also, watch out for Hoopsters who like to glide along vines and cause damage
to your character. They pop out of no where I tell you. Like Jehovah’s
Witnesses or Mormons on bicycles. But that’s another story. :P

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
EXPLORING THOSE JARS
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes jars, but not like the type your old grandma pickles things in.
These red and white painted jars dot the landscape. Jump on top of them and
press down to enter. Most of them contain a 1-UP mushroom or at least a
growth heart. Try to enter any jars you see, doing so might get you health
when your feeling a bit parched. Some jars wouldn’t let you enter them.
Suspicious? You bet. See the subspace section below about those.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

In every course there will red cherries floating around in the air.
Collect five of these and an yellow invincibility star will float into the
screen. Collect and you will flash and become invincible for about 15
seconds. Use the star wisely as it can make a part of the level extremely
easy. Also know the right time to collect that fifth cherry.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
SUBSPACE SHENANIGANS
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sometimes in your plant-grabbing fury, you might uncover a glass flask
of red potion. Don’t waste these, as there quite valuable, since there’s
only three max in each course. Chucking down the red potion causes a door to
appear, leading into subspace. Subspace is basically the same as the level,
except very shadowy and the objects are mirror images of the fathers. When
entering subspace, everything on screen will be locked into place. Grabbing
any plants on screen with give you coins to use in the slot machines. If you
chose the right place to throw down the potion, a Subspace Mushroom will be
in view. Grab it to increase your health total by one heart.
Oh yea, if there’s a jar you couldn’t enter normally on screen, it is
access into a warp zone. To enter the warp zone, make sure the jar is on
screen then throw down a red potion. Enter subspace, then enter the jar. Ta
Dah! But you wouldn’t be needing these, correct? Because your an honest
player. Although my moneys’ on the warp zones winning. What? :P

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
PLAY SOME SLOTS
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

When you finally finish a course in the game, you will have a chance to
play the slot machine before moving on with the adventure. What your
gambling is any coins you found in subspace in the course you have just
beaten. The prizes you win are various quantities of 1-UPs.

              Winnings Chart
+=========================================+
|  One Red Cherry               ---> 1-UP |
|  At least two Red Cherries    ---> 2-UP |
|  Three Red Cherries           ---> 3-UP |
|  Three Lucky 7’s              ---> 5-UP |
|  Picture of Any Three         ---> 2-UP |
+=========================================+

*Note* Cherries have to appear in sequential order. So if one red cherry
appeared, but was in the second slot, you get nothing. :P

*Note2* Also, a new feature has been added into the game that wasn’t in the
original. You may wage more then one coin at a time each time you spin. The
max per spin being your coin total of course. The amount of coins wagered is
multiplied by your winning.

-- So if you wagered 5 coins, and won a 5-UP, you’d get a whopping 25-UP.

Did you know that in 1988 Nintendo was sued by a parent group claiming quote
“The slot machine in Super Mario Bros. 2 is a flagrant attempt to try and
get our children addicted to gambling.” God… they need to take a pill. :P

============================================================================
                           5. Collectable Items
============================================================================

You mean when grabbing, pulling up plants, along with exploring, you
actually find stuff? Yeah indeed you do. Here’s a list of the stuff you can
find in your journeys.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
HEALTH TYPES
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Growth Heart - Red colored heart. Restores one hit to your health.

Subspace Mushroom - Spotted toadstool mushroom. Only found in subspace.
Collect it to add another hit to your health meter.

1-UP Mushroom - Red and white mushroom with 1-UP insignia on it.
Always found off the beaten path. Usually in bubbles
or in plants. Can also be found by striking five or
                        more enemies with one projectile.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
PROJECTILES
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sprout - Uprooted from a plant. Mini-sized vegetable that’s
harder to hit anything with when thrown.

Vegetables - Uprooted from a plant. Full and plump sized turnip
that can easily be thrown to take out an enemy or
                        two from a distance.

Giant Vegetables - Uprooted from a plant. Huge sized turnip that takes
longer to be plucked from the ground. Can take out
rows of enemies if skillfully used.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
BLOCKS
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

POW Block - Black block with red trim and the insignia POW on
it. Chuck be chucked to hit the ground and kill all
                        enemies on screen.

Super POW Block - Just like a normal POW block except four times its
size. When chucked to the ground, it bounces a few
times killing enemies in several screens.

Mushroom Block - Red and white colored block shaped like a mushroom.
Chuck them at enemies, stack them to make barriers
                        and steps. Very versatile.

Dirt Block - Dirt blocks are brown in color and always stacked to
form walls that block your way. Use bombs to clear
                        them out.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEAPONS
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bomb - Uprooted from plants or chucked by Mouser the world
1 boss. They have a five second fuse so grab them
and chuck them away quickly. The explosion has a two
                        inch radius.

Red Shell - Uprooted from plants. Chuck it on the ground and
watch it skate along. Takes out any enemies in its
path, but bounces off of walls.

Invincibility Star - Yellow flashing star. Floats onto screen when five
cherries are collected. Grants short invincibility.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
SPECIALTY ITEMS
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Golden Key - Gold colored key that allows you to enter locked
doors only when its in your characters hands.
Beware, with the key in hand the guardian mask,
Phanto, will chase you from screen to screen.

Ace Coins - Five of these coins are hidden in every course.
Trying to get one with test your Mario skills.
Collect all five in every course to rechieve a 100%
game clearance on the select screen. Does nothing,
but gives bragging rights. Check the section below
to see all the Ace Coin locations.

Yoshi Eggs - Two Yoshi eggs are hidden in every level only when
you do a certain thing… Want details? Check out the

                            6. Know Your Foes
============================================================================

When Nintendo updated Super Mario Bros. 2, they were also nice enough
to include some new baddies. Including one of my favorites, the giant Ninji.
I really love that guy. :P Listed below are all the enemies you will find in
the game. This list doesn’t include bosses, since they’re written right into
the walkthrough for you to read.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
SHY GUY This guy is the easiest enemy of them all.
(Varieties: Red and blue.) Wearing a coat and mask, toss them aside if
                              they get in your way.

GIANT SHY GUY Like there smaller cousins, these guys are a
(Varieties: Red and blue.) pushover. Though they take longer to pick up,
use there size to your advantage. Throw them
                              to take out multiple enemies.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
NINJI Think of a Shy Guy but in a black Ninja suit.
These guys are more annoying as the hop and
run about. Put them out of there kung-fu ways.

GIANT NINJI Oh! My favorite enemy in the game and a new
addition as well. Just like a Ninji but larger
in size. The good part about these guys is
                              they only hop, not run.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
SNIFIT Looks like a Shy Guy’s evil brother, except
(Varieties: Black and blue.) this guy is kind enough to shoot a stream of
BBs from its mouth. Dodge the BBs and chuck
                              something at this stupid pest.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
BEEZO In certain levels Beezos are abundant. They
are like yellow Shy Guys that fly straight at
you attempting to injure your character. Just
get out of their way and you’ll be fine.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
TWEETER A flightless bird that hops along the ground.
Pretty harmless unless you bump into them.
Take them out with a simple chuck.

PORCUPO Porcupos are porcupines with lots of purple
spines on there back. Slow moving across the
ground, jump over them or chuck an item at
them. Look, but don’t touch or you’ll take
damage. They like to hang out in groups.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
TROUTER Trouter is a fish that likes to hang out in
waterfalls and streams. Hoping up and down
from the water below, dodge them or jump on
there heads as a bridge across.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
ALBATOSS Yes Al-ba-toss. Do you get the pun? These red
birds fly though the air at you the Beezos,
except dropping off Bob-Ombs on the ground
near you. Dodging the Bob-Ombs is the only
                              thing you can do.

BOB-OMB Large black bomb with a face and legs. Will
run after you and explode when it touches your
character’s body. Just dodge them like you do
an IRS agent. Dropped by Albatoss, but you can
sometimes find them when uprooting plants.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
PIDGIT Also known as the Flying Rat. Basically a bird
sitting on top of a flying carpet. As the
carpet hovers, wait for it to swoop down, then
jump on top and chuck away the Pidgit. Catch a
free ride. Better then the city bus. All those
old people with bags of cans always clicking.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
COBRAT Red colored cobras that inhabit the sand
worlds of 2 and 6. They like to hide in jars
and below the ground, but you can still see
their eyes sticking up. They shoot BBs from
                              their mouths.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
PANSER This is one hot-headed flower. It shoots a
stream of fireballs from its head. The more
dangerous ones walk along the ground while
sending off the projectiles. Run or jump past
when you can, and get far away.

POKEY The other plant enemy in the game. Pokey is a
slow-move green cactus. It takes a vegetable
to take out each of the five sections. You’re
                              better off jumping over it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
OSTRO This guy is a sad excuse for a cowboy. It’s
just a red Shy Guy riding on the back of a
pink Ostrich. Jump on top and pluck the red
Shy Guy off, then chuck it to hit the pink
                              Ostrich killing them both.

AUTOBOMB Like the Ostro, but slightly different. A red
Shy Guy riding on the back of what looks like
the Super-Duper Death Star Stupomitron 2000
Laser Cannon. Just jump on top and toss aside
the red Shy Guy then ride along on the cannon.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
FLURRY A funny creature made of snow. Only found in
world 4, it skates along the ice trying to
                              bump into you causing damage.

SPARK Made of electricity, this orb floats across
any surface it touches at a slow of fast
speed. Just jump over them and move on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
PHANTO What look like reject opera masks. They remain
asleep guarding a golden key until the key is
moved by your character. Then in their rampage
they follow you from screen to screen, as long
as the key is in your hands.

                          7. Choose Your Character
============================================================================

Before you enter start playing a course in Super Mario Bros. 2 you must
choose which of the four characters you wish to play. Every character has
its strong points, but some characters are better at certain skills then
others. Factoring in your Mario-playing experience is also another aspect.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mario
Yawn I guess… pretty average. Fairly good at everything
+-------------+ and poor at nothing. Most versatile of all the characters
| POWER ****. | but I don’t like how he plays. That’s just my opinion
| SPEED ****. | though, whatever floats your boat.
| JUMP ****. |
+-------------+ Rating: Good for intermediate players.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Luigi
Though his power and speed may be lacking, he more then
+-------------+ makes up for it with his potent jump. It’s the strongest
| POWER ***.. | jump of all the characters. In a skilled players hands
| SPEED ***.. | he’s unmatched, but sloppy in someone inexperienced.
| JUMP ***** |
+-------------+ Rating: THE choose for advanced players.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Toad
Toads jump is absolutely pathetic and the weakest of all
+-------------+ the characters. However, he handles great in experienced
| POWER ***** | hands. Advanced players should choose this character if
| SPEED ***** | they prefer using his unmatched item-chucking skills.
| JUMP **... |
+-------------+ Rating: Great for advanced players.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Peach
Wow, at first glance Peach looks the worst, right? Wrong.
+-------------+ Though her stats are the weakest, her glide jump is just
| POWER **... | perfect for beginners to easily dodge most obstacles. Use
| SPEED **... | Peach if your a lazy person too.
| JUMP ***.. |
+-------------+ Rating: Great for beginners or lazy people like me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

*IMPORTANT Note* Oh yea, I almost forgot one thing. I have to warn you very
carefully about using Toad. Only use Toad if you can take his annoying,
screechy, what the heck was Nintendo thinking when they added this voice.
There, I said it. Now I want no angry emails about how I didn’t warn you. :P

                       8. Walkthrough of the Courses
============================================================================

Welcome to the walkthrough part of this document! This will guide you
step by step through the courses of the Super Mario Bros. 2 potion of the
game. The other 10% of the game is simply the Super Mario Bros. Battle Room
which isn’t really “levels” per say. That is covered in another section of
the document.

This walkthrough includes how to beat bosses, and finding those pesky
Subspace Mushrooms to add more hearts to your health meter. This in turn
makes beating the levels much easier. It wouldn’t cover all the mushrooms,
only ones that can be found as you go along. The location of every subspace
mushroom can be found in another section of the document. All hidden items
and extras of the Super Mario Bros. 2 portion of the game can be found in
other sections as well. Enjoy!

*******MINI-BOSS******* Birdo #1 (Pink)

There are two growth hearts to the right and left in the air if you need it
before fighting Birdo. (Let’s hope not… please…) Travel right and hop off
the clouds onto the dirt. Jump up to the blue blocks. Birdo screeches in
her(his?) “intimidating” little voice: “This is as far as you go!” When
Birdo shoots an egg at you, jump on top of and pick it up. Chuck it back at
Birdo to hit her/him. Birdo will die after three shots from the egg.

Grab the crystal orb Birdo spits out after it dies. Exit out of the open
eagle mouth. COURSE CLEAR ! If you have any coins, gamble like the impure,
sinful soul that you are for 1-UPs.

      Course 2
- - - - - - - - - -

-- Area 1, Great Canyon --

After exiting out of the eagle mouth hop across the pit to the first
platform then the second. A Pidgit will fly into view. Wait for it to dive

carpet, quickly fly across the pit to the right, dodging all the Beezos that
zoom at your head. Land on the ground and grab the first plant you see.

jars. Enter the door and grab the subspace mushroom and get your new health
total of 3 hearts.

-- Area 1 (Continuing on)

door.

end. Super jump up to the door above. Exit into the light.

ignore the next two paragraphs.)

Hop above to the green platform and head to the left. Carefully dodge the
Snifit fire and the Ninji charging at you. Grab the plant you see to uncover
a potion.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #3 <><>

Chuck the red potion right under or near the cherry floating in the air.
(Make sure the end of the platform is in screen.) Enter the door and grab
the Subspace mushroom giving you a grand total of 5 hearts. DUN DUN DUN!

-- Area 3 (Continuing on)

right passing all the plants. Hop over the two red shy guys and jump below.
Go right and hop up to the brown door. Enter in.

*******MINI-BOSS******* Birdo #2 (Pink)

Hop to the grass below. (Grab the plant if you want an extra growth heart.)
Go right, hop onto the blue blocks and face Birdo for a second time. Unlike
your first battle, Birdo will be an annoying piece of crap and shoot eggs
much less frequently. Grab an egg, and chuck it at her. Hit her three times
to win like before.

Grab the crystal orb Birdo spits out after it dies. Exit out of the open
eagle mouth. COURSE CLEAR ! If you have any coins, gamble like the impure,
sinful soul that you are for 1-UPs. :P

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -
      Course 3, Final
- - - - - - - - - - - - - -

-- Area 1, Waterfall Action --

After exiting out of the eagle mouth turn and run to the left. Grab the
plant closest to you and get a growth heart to McDonalds super size
yourself. Run forward and jump across part of the waterfall to the little
island. Hop over again to the larger island. Jump up to where the two plants

closest to the bridge.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #1 <><>

screen. Enter in the door and grab the subspace mushroom for 3 hearts total.

-- Area 1 (Continuing on)

Head to the end of the bridge and hop off to the ledge. Jump over the pit to
the first log, dodging that annoying Trouter hopping up and down into view.
Hop across to the end of the chain of stationary logs. Hop across the three
logs moving on the waterfall and to the green platform island. Go right and
hop across the two logs, dodging the Trouter. Jump onto land. Hop over the
blue shy guys and land on the log above. Jump over the pit, two Ninjis and
the two Tweeters. Head to the end and enter the red door.

-- Area 2, Demonic Warehouse --

Hop right to the platform made of two blue blocks. Jump up and grab the
chain. Ascend it till a Spark and Blue Shy Guy come into view. Ascend till
your just below the blue shy guy. Wait for it to walk towards the stack of
mushroom blocks then ascend to the very top of the chain. Walk right and hop
to the platform above. Hop over to the right and land on top of the stack of
mushroom blocks. Grab one, then head back to the platform you were just at.
Place the block on the ground. Jump on top of it and super jump up to the
platform above, making sure not to hit the circling Spark. Quickly go left
and hop on top of the 2-block platform. Ascend the series of platforms in
the column to the top. At the top, go right and jump over the jar. Careful
of the Sparks circling above. Enter the jar and fall to the ground at the
bottom. Grab the plant on the left side.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #2 <><>

Getting the red potion, hop along the rotating platforms and exit the pot.
Walk off the edge of the pot and fall along the chains all the way down.
You’ll land back on the platform with the one circling Spark. Head left and
hop back up the platforms in the column again. At the top, chuck the potion
on the ground, make <SURE> the plant in the left corner is visible. Enter
the door and grab the subspace mushroom for a total of 4 hearts.

-- Area 2 (Continuing on)

Super jump up to the first platform dodging the circling Spark. Hop over to
the smaller, next higher platform. Dodge the Spark and jump above. Exit into
the red door.

-- Area 3, The Phanto Key Room --

You’ll come to a room with a key, a huge gray statue of a Phanto in the
background and <FOUR> sleeping Phanto masks. Super jump up, and jump <ON
TOP> of the key. Wait for the Spark to clear, then grab the key. <QUICKLY>
jump down and exit the room.

-- Area 2 (Coming back)

Once out, chuck the key away. Make sure it doesn’t go off screen, or then
you’ll have to go all the way back to the Phanto Key Room and get the key
again. This will keep the Phanto mask from chasing and injuring you. Never
hold onto the key for more then 10 seconds. Grab the key, chuck, grab again.
Continue this process as you descend all the way back down. Once you get
back down to the white door where you first entered, keep heading down to
the bottom with the key. When falling straight down along the chains,
position yourself to the right side of the screen. Land and exit out the
locked door.

-- Area 4, Spike-N-Pit Room --

This room contains very fast moving Sparks so stay alert. You got eyes don’t
you? Hop down to the first block platform with the Spark then quickly hop to
the second. Hop up again to the third. Jump over to the platform with
another Spark then jump over to the bridge. Run right and dodge the Snifit.
Walk off the edge and fall carefully to the bottom of the screen. Land on
the brick platform. Hop up on top of the second brick piece, then over to
the piece with the Spark. Hop along the next three pieces with Sparks, they
get consecutively smaller. Hop on top of where there are a chain of blue shy
guys. Carefully jump over them all and run to the end. Fall down and over to
the head right.

Grab the crystal orb sitting on the blocks. Exit out of the open eagle
mouth. COURSE CLEAR ? ? ? I don’t think so… mwuahahaha.

*********<><><> BOSS OF WORLD 1 <><><>*********
              ******************

“Mouser” -The giant, bomb hurling mouse (Duel 1)

You plummet down into a demented toy room full made entirely of colorful
Lego blocks. Run to the right and hop up onto the higher ground. Watch out
for the Spark. Stand next to the dirt blocks/wall and Mouser will
immediately begin hurling bombs that land next to the wall. <GET BACK>, and
let the wall blow up. Head in through the gap. He will maniacally call out
“HERE! HAVE SOME BOMBS!” The boss music begins to play. <QUICKLY> run so
your stand right underneath Mouser where you’re 99% safe. As Mouser chucks
down bombs to the floor where your at, grab any you can. But <NOT> flashing
bombs. Chuck them up above where Mouser is. When they explode, some hit,
some miss, because Mouser constantly runs back and forth on the platform. He
only stops to chuck bombs. Hit Mouser three times with his own bombs (Funny
animation when he’s hit! :P) to kill him. When he’s dead, victory music
plays along with a white door appearing on screen.

And yes finally… COURSE CLEAR !

WORLD 2 LOT’S OF SAND
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

- - - - - - - - - -
      Course 1
- - - - - - - - - -

-- Area 1, Sand Shuffle --

Turn to your left and grab the plant. You’ll get a growth heart and super
size yourself. Run to the right and pass the pyramids in the background.
You’ll notice two eyes bobbing above the ground right before a structure of
dry bones. Hop over the eyes and Cobrat will pop up. Land on top of the
bones and dodge the BB fire of a second Cobrat bobbing in a jar. Jump on top
of the jar and chuck the Cobrat out of it. Hop on top of a second bone
structure. Jump over the red and blue Shy Guys and land on a third pile of
bones. Dodge the Cobrat BB fire. Jump on top of the jar with the Cobrat and
chuck it aside. Jump on top of the bricks and grab the first plant.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #1 <><>

Immediately chuck down the red potion in hand and enter the red door. Grab
the Subspace Mushroom for a total of 3 hearts.

-- Area 1 (Continuing on)

Run right and hop down off the bricks to the <STILL> sand directly below.
Quickly jump across the quick sand and hop on top of the first cactus. Hop
to the second cactus then jump on top of the blue Shy Guy’s head. Chuck it
into the sand and watch it squirm as it’s sucked down to it’s death. :P Hop
across the quicksand and jump on top of another cactus. Two red Shy Guys and
a flame-spittin’ Panser come into view. Wait for the red Shy Guys to
stupidly sink into the quicksand then hop down. Jump across the quicksand
while dodging the fireballs. Stand right under the Panser to be safe. Wait
for the fireballs to clear then run to the right. Grab the plant uncovering
a shell then jump on top of the cactus. Chuck it on to the ground to the
<RIGHT> and watch it scoot along killing a Cobrat hiding in the sand. Hop
across the quick sand and jump over the cactus at the other end. Run <PAST>
the wooden door to the end of the screen. Grab the plant at the end.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #2 <><>

With the red potion in your hands, backtrack a bit for the cactus to come
into screen. Chuck down the potion and enter the red door. Grab the Subspace
Mushroom for a health total of 4 hearts. (Unless you died… but you didn’t,
did you? RIGHT? Cause if you did, you’d suck. :P )

-- Area 1, (Continuing on)

Run forward and enter the wooden(Why is it wooden?) door on the pyramid.

-- Area 2, Pyramid Posse --

Holy-free-holy! A giant Ninji. :P Hop over and jump on top of it’s head.
Grab it and chuck it to the left so it smacks the red Shy Guy. Go back to
the right side where the giant Ninji once was and start digging down through
the layers of sand. Dig <STRAIGHT> down about 10 layers and you will see a
red Shy Guy crossing back and forth on screen. Let it fall though your hole
and wait for it to start walking away from you. Dig straight down about 10
more layers and do the same process again, except there will probably be
three red Shy Guys now. Watch out for the Snifit coming up on the left side
of the screen, he will shoot BBs at you. Since your hole is a straight line
you can easily dodge the projectiles. Dig all the way to the bottom then
take the ladder down to the chamber below. Hop over the jar and over to the
red door. Exit out of the chamber.

*******MINI-BOSS******* Birdo #3 (Pink)

Jump up on top of the bricks and run to the end. Hop across the pit and to
over where Birdo is waiting for you. When you jump on an egg, don’t ride on
it too long or else you’ll end up in the pit. Grab and chuck three eggs at
Birdo. Hit Birdo with three eggs to win like your previous battles.

Grab the crystal orb Birdo spits out after it dies. Hop across the pit and
over to the thin stone pillar sticking up. Hop over to the eagle mouth and
exit out. COURSE CLEAR ! If you have any coins, gamble like the impure,
sinful soul that you are for 1-UPs. :P

- - - - - - - - - -
      Course 2
- - - - - - - - - -

-- Area 1, Sandy Cavern --

Run forward and jump up the three dirt steps. Head right and exit out of the
white door into the light.

-- Area 2, Sunny Daze --

Run forward and grab the plant uprooting a shell. Chuck it forward and take
out all three red Shy Guys. Collect the growth hearts that fly into the air
but be careful of the shell bouncing back. Run right and jump on top of the
dry bones. Then jump on to the quick sand. A Cobrat will pop out. Jump on
its head and chuck it aside. Watch out for the flying Beezos. Hop over to
the top of the first cactus. Hop to the top of the second cactus then the
third. Hop down to the sand below dodging the Cobrat fire. Run forward and
jump on top of the jar. Grab the Cobrat and chuck it at the red Shy Guy
approaching, getting rid of it. Run forward and grab the first plant.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #1 <><>

Now that you have the red potion, run to the right. Make sure the to
remaining plants are in screen. Throw down the potion and enter the door.
Grab the subspace mushroom for a total of three hearts.

-- Area 2, (Continuing on)

>From here, go right and jump on top of the first jar. Chuck away that pesky
Cobrat. Wait for the Cobrat in the taller jar to duck down then jump up to
it. Toss that Cobrat away as well. Jump on top of the cactus then <QUICKLY>
jump to the top of the second shorter one dodging the Cobrat fire. Wait for
a free spot then hop to the third cactus then to the top of the jar. Chuck
away the Cobrat. You’ll notice a patch of super-quicksand coming up. Don’t
fall in it! Hop down on the normal quicksand then jump on top of the first
piece of bone that flows over the super-quicksand. Dodge the Cobrat fire
then jump to land. Hop down and enter the wooden door.

-- Area 3, Desert Shrine --

Go to the right, and fall down on the ledge with three plants. Grab anyone
of them and uncover a bomb. <QUICKLY> super jump back up to where the door
is and chuck the bomb left. It will blow up the dirt block wall. Head
through the gap and fall down the ledges. Hop across the pit and jump to the
top of the block stack. Watch out for the blue Shy Guys and grab the plant
farthest to the left uprooting a POW block. Throw it down killing all the
pesky blue Shy Guys. IF you kill all of them, you get a 1-UP. Grab the plant
at the center on top of the brick stack.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #2 <><>

Immediately chuck down the red potion in your hands. Enter the door and grab
the subspace mushroom. You know should have a health total of four hearts.

-- Area 3, (Continuing on)

Go right and hop across the pit. Jump back up the dirt ledges and go back
through the grab. Exit out the door into the light.

-- Area 2, (Coming back)

Run forward and jump on top of the first jar. Grab the Cobrat. Jump over the
next jar and chuck the Cobrat at the Cobrat in the taller jar. Jump over all
of the next line of jars, dodging Cobrat fire and avoiding the green Pokey
chasing you. Hop over the cactus to safety. Run forward and you will see two
Pansers spitting fire on top of a stack of bricks. Run underneath them to
the end dodging the fireballs. Jump up and descend the vine.

-- Area 4, I Ain’t a Frikkin’ Mole --

Wee! Another giant Ninji. My favorite enemy. :P Dig down one layer of sand
and grab the red Shy Guy. Chuck it up at the giant Ninji killing both of
them. Grab the growth heart it releases if you need it. Dig down about ten
more layers of sand and you’ll find another red Shy Guy. Wait for it to walk
away from you then dig down about seven more layers. Wait for both Shy Guys
to walk away then dig way down further. Grab the growth heart floating in
the sand if you need it. This is where it gets tricky. Firstly, the sand
divided into two paths. Take the left path and dig all the way down to a jar
and two plants. Grab the plant on the left side of it.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #3 <><>

With the red potion in your grasp, jump to either of the dirt ledges on each
side of the jar. Super jump up back in the sand layers. Hop up through the
sand until you see the large patch without sand and a red cherry floating in
it. Make sure it’s on screen then throw down the potion. Enter through the
red door then grab the subspace mushroom. You should have five hearts on
your health meter, but more importantly full health for this next tricky
section.

-- Area 4, (Continuing on)

Dig down through the sand, but this time take the right path. You will
encounter multiple red Shy Guys and a BB-shooting Snifit jumping up through
the sand so stay sharp. Dig down through the sand layers dodging the BBs and
red Shy Guys. Get to the bottom and enter the red door.

*******MINI-BOSS******* Birdo #1 (Red)

Grab the plant if you need a growth heart then jump down to the ledge with
another giant Ninji. Did I mention it’s my favorite enemy? :P Grab the Giant
Ninji and hurl it to the ground for any growth hearts you need to get full
health. Careful, Birdo’s stupid eggs that ricochet off the wall sometimes
kill the giant Ninji. This Birdo is a bit different then the previous ones.
It’s the first red one you have encountered. This one shoots eggs, but also
fireballs that cause damage. Red Birdos are also cheekier, now saying “I’m
going to finish you off!”

Run to the right, passing underneath the Birdo. Jump across the pit and then
super jump up to the higher ledge. Hop over to the bricks and face Birdo.
Jump on top of the eggs and grab them, but jump over the fireballs. Hit
Birdo with three eggs to win like before.

Grab the crystal orb Birdo spits out after it dies. Backtrack and hop over
to the eagle mouth and exit out. COURSE CLEAR ! If you have any coins,
gamble like the impure, sinful soul that you are for 1-UPs. :P

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -
      Course 3, Final
- - - - - - - - - - - - - -

-- Area 1, Buried Alive --

Run forward and ascend the ladder into the night air.

-- Area 2, Sand Plains --

Walk to the left and grab the first plant. It will pull up a growth heart to
super size yourself. Now head right and pass the ladder. Grab the first
plant you see.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #1 <><>

With the red potion in hand, head back left and pass the ladder again. Hop
onto the first platform then the second higher platform. Throw down the
potion on top. Enter in the door and collect the subspace mushroom, giving
you a total of three hearts.

-- Area 2, (Continuing On)

Now we can get on with the level. Head right and hop down from the
platforms. Pass the ladder and continue right. Watch out for the Beezos and
jump over the cactus. Keep running forward.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #2 <><>
ONLY IF YOUR CURRENT CHARACTER IS LUIGI. If it isn’t, skip down and start
reading from the @@@@@@.

In about 20 paces you will come across stone pillars that are seen in the
background. If you current character is Luigi, super jump up to the top of
them. Hop over to the wooden door and enter it. Go to the right and grab the
first plant, uprooting a red potion. Now go to the left of the white door
and throw down the potion. Collect the subspace mushroom for a total of 4
hearts. That is if your Luigi. :P

-- Area 2, (Continuing on)

Exit out the white door into the light. Hop down to the ground and @@@@@@
head right, dodging all the Beezos. Hop over all of the seven cacti and you
will come to Two patches of quicksand. Hop from bone to bone then to the
ground. Run forward and hop over the cactus. Collect the growth heart if you
need it. Wait for the Pokey to follow you and the Cobrat to pop out. Hop
<BACK> on top of the cactus. <WAIT>, then jump over the Pokey. Jump over the
next cactus and head right. Hop over the second Pokey then <QUICKLY> enter
the wooden door.

-- Area 3, Raiders of the Lonely Dark --

Head to the <RIGHT> and fall down through the pit. Don’t bump into the Shy
Guys falling with you. Land on the logs, then quickly super jump up on top
of the stone piece. Grab the plant on the left side.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #3 <><>

With red potion in hand, go left and fall down into a second pit. Pass the
six Phantos sleeping peacefully and land on the sand at the bottom. Hop over
the Tweeter and red giant Shy Guy then throw down the red potion and enter
the door. Grab the subspace mushroom sitting on the sand. You should have a
total of four or five hearts depending on whether or not you were Luigi.

-- Area 3, (Continuing On)

Dig down through the sand layers. Dodging the red Shy Guys as you go along.
When you dig down to the fork in the sand, take either path it doesn’t
matter. Dig down to the bottom, then enter the red door. By the time you get
to the red door, about six red Shy Guys will be on your tail.

-- Area 4, Phanto Key Room --

Run to the side of ledge and wait for the Spark to be out of the way. Super
jump up onto the ledge, run over, and jump on <TOP> of the key. Wait for the
Spark to go back around. Grab the key and <QUICKLY> jump down. <QUICKLY>
exit back out the door.

-- Area 3, (Coming back)

<IMMEDIATELY> chuck aside the key so the Phanto doesn’t hit you. Grab the
key, hop up a few layers, then chuck it back again. Repeat this process all
the way back up to the surface. It will be much easier going back up since
the red Shy Guys can’t follow your digging holes because you have very few.
Once you reach the surface again, grab the key and chuck it to kill both the
Tweeter and giant red Shy Guy. Grab the key and enter through the locked
door to the chamber before the boss.

-- Area 5, Triumph Straight --

Run forward and hop over the red Shy Guys. Run across the sand then hop down
the ledges. Watch out for the Panser spitting down fireballs then run along
the ground, passing under the Shy Guys and fireballs. Jump up then jump over
the two cacti. Jump on top of the jar and grab the Cobrat. Chuck it aside.
Hop down and jump over the two blue Shy Guys. Dodge the BB fire and hope
over the jar. Grab the crystal orb opening the eagle mouth then hop over the
second jar. Run down the final patch of floor and jump up to the eagle
mouth. Exit out to the world 2 boss room.

*********<><><> BOSS OF WORLD 2 <><><>*********
              ******************

“Tryclyde” -The three-headed, fireball shooting, red cobra

You immediately plunge down a shaft lined with colorful Lego blocks. Collect
any plants you see if you need growth hearts for health. Head to the right
and prepare to fight. You should notice that there is a group of six
mushroom blocks stacked all nice and neat. Hide behind them, then make
barrier of them to protect yourself against the rain of fireballs. Never
stay in one place for more then three seconds or you’ll be pelted with
fireballs. Unless you’re safe that is. Now that the barrier is up, grab one
of the mushroom blocks. “Step right up!” He calls. Take him up on his offer.

With block in hand, jump up to the ledge, then <QUICKLY> chuck the block
over at him smacking his snake body. His eyes should bug out. :P Hit him two
more times and he’s finished. NEVER EVER STAND UNDERNEATH HIM! Unlike
Mouser, this ain’t a safe spot genius. He’ll simply roast you like a
chestnut. I mean, think about… if you can jump through those blocks, so can
a fireball. Why am I even telling you that? You look smart. When you beat
him, get the victory music and the white door appears.

And yes finally… COURSE CLEAR ! OH MAKE THE BAD MAN STOP !

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
WORLD 3 GRASS SUMMIT
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

*IMPORTANT Note* I utterly, totally, intensely, hate this world from the
very depths of my soul. Whoever made this world deserves to be shot. No,
tortured first with hot coals and die a slow painful death. OK, now that I
vented my feelings to “lash out irrationally.” :P This world is so stupid
because it’s like world 1 -- except with every god forsaken, annoying
feature amplified times infinity and then some. God it’s just so lame and
boring. God help me… here we go.

- - - - - - - - - -
      Course 1
- - - - - - - - - -

-- Area 1, Waterfall Summit --

Run forward, pass the plants, and jump over the two red Shy Guys. Continue
on and jump the pit. Hop up onto the ledge with the plant and pull it up
getting a growth heart to super size yourself. Hop back down and enter in
through the wooden door.

-- Area 2, Cloud Capital --

Immediately take a leap of faith and jump into the pit. Fall down and down,
make <SURE> to be falling in the middle between of the two walls. Land on
the ground nearly avoiding death, then hop down the ledges. Enter into the
wooden door.

-- Area 3, Hidden Cave --

Run to the right, and you will see a line of plants. Counting from the first
plant, walk to the <TENTH> plant. Uproot it.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #1 <><>

With the red potion in hand, just chuck it on the floor and enter the red
door. Grab the subspace mushroom and get a total of three hearts. You know,
it might also be a good time to collect the coins considering there’s a huge
line of plants. I shouldn’t even need to tell you that. :P

-- Area 3, (Continuing on)

Run to the right and hop down. Jump over the jar and exit out the red door.

-- Area 2, (Coming back)

It’s like cheap sideshow magic! You magically teleported by up to the top of
where you first fell from in the Cloud Capital area. Jump to the right to
the first cloud then hop up the three clouds. Jump to the next cloud to the
left, also dodging the blue Shy Guy. Jump up to the small piece of cloud
then jump to another cloud to the left, dodging another blue Shy Guy.
Continue hoping up the stairs of cloud pieces to the right, then to the
left. Hop up the two clouds. A Pidgit will hover into view. Wait for it to
swoop down then jump on its head. Toss the Pidgit aside and <IMMEDIATELY>
begin floating straight up at the <CENTER> of the screen. You should dodge
the Beezos easily if your floating in the center of the screen. Your carpet
should begin to flash right as a vine comes into view. Hop up and grab it.
Ascend out of view.

-- Area 4, Some Cloud Platforming --

Quickly climb to the top of the vine and walk right. Hop over and grab the
giant Blue Shy Guy. Chuck it off into the pit/sky. Run back right and grab
the first mushroom block. Head back to the left. Kill the reappeared giant
Blue Shy Guy with the block then grab it again. Walk to the edge.

-- SUPER-DUPER-SECRET SHORTCUT STRAIGHT TO BIRDO!

If you notice, you will see tiny clouds, oval shaped. If you jump on them,
you will fall straight through. What your going to have to do, is throw the
mushroom block so it lands on one of those clouds. Takes a little practice
and patience, but <WELL> worth it. Depending on your character’s jumping
abilities, your going to have to place a certain amount of blocks to scale
the gap. Peach, only needs one block. Luigi and Mario need two. Toad needs a
pathetic three. Hop along the blocks and land on the other side. Enter the
red door.

*******MINI-BOSS******* Birdo #2 (Red)

Boss music starts right when you enter. Hint hint. Walk forward and grab the
first plant to uncover a bomb. Chuck it forward so it lands next to the dirt
wall. After it blows out a gap, walk through it. Yes ignore that other
plant. Hop on top of the dirt piece, then super jump up through the hole
roof. Midair, press <LEFT> on the control pad. You wouldn’t be able to see
your character. Run left and you will see the screen follow along. Birdo
will come into view. Carefully fall down onto the ledge next to the eagle
mouth on screen. The plants around have growth hearts if you need them.

Hop down to the area with Birdo. Don’t bother hitting her with those
mushroom blocks located behind her. Just use her own eggs against her. Dodge
the fireballs Birdo shoots. Grab and hit her with three eggs to dispatch her
permanently.

Grab the crystal orb Birdo spits out after it dies. Super jump back up to
the eagle mouth and exit out. COURSE CLEAR ! If you have any coins, gamble
like the impure, sinful soul that you are for 1-UPs. :P

- - - - - - - - - -
      Course 2
- - - - - - - - - -

-- Area 1, Sand and Sky --

Run forward and jump over the Ostro. Get the growth heart floating in the
air if you need it. Watch out for the Beezos and hop over the two wooden
pillars sticking up. Hop over the next two wooden pillars, then “run forest
run” to get away from those Beezos. Keep running right and hop between the
next two pillars. Grab one of them to get a spout. With sprout in hand, hop
over the next pillar and continue right. A Panser will come into view. Chuck
the spout at the Panser killing it and letting you pass. Run right and hop
over the two Ostros. Keep going right and <PASS> the Super POW block. Hop
over the next three wooden pillars. Run right for a too long of a time.
Dodge the Snifit fire and hop up on the green area with the plants. Grab the
farthest plant left from the wall.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #1 <><>

With red potion in hand, make sure the brown wall is in view. Chuck it down.
Grab the subspace mushroom for a total of three hearts.

passage into the ground blocked by the dirt blocks. Uncovering a bomb, set

head in. Run forward along the sand and head down the ladder.

-- Area 2, Dirt Wall Cavern --

Climb to the bottom of the ladder and head left. Jump down to the ledge
below and hop over the pit. You have <JUST> enough bombs to get through all
the walls. If you run out, exit and enter the area again.

Ascend the ladder next to you to the second level. Grab the plant just
<LEFT> of the ladder to uncover a bomb. Quickly go right and hop down below.
Run left and chuck the bomb next to the <FIRST> wall. After it blows a gap,
head back up the ladder again. This time, grab the plant to the <RIGHT> of
the ladder. With bomb in hand, hop back down again. Run farther in and throw
the bomb next to the <SECOND> dirt wall, blowing a gap in it. You should be
standing above three plants. Grab the plant in the <CENTER> uncovering a
bomb. Run left and chuck it at the <THIRD> wall, blowing a gap in it.
Backtrack a bit and grab the plant on the <LEFT>. Head left and chuck this
bomb at the <FOURTH> and final wall.

Woo! Head through and jump over the tweeters. Jump up on the ledge, then
super jump up on top of the blue blocks. Head right and ascend the ladder
out of the area.

-- Area 3, Underground Area --

Head left and hop over the two red Shy Guys. Dodge the Panser’s fireballs
and head down the ladder at the other end.

-- Area 4, Pillar Power --

Descend to the bottom of the ladder and hop left to the top of the first
pillar. Hop over to the pillar with the blue Shy Guy. Quickly jump over to
the ladder and ascend up it.

-- Area 5, Beezo Dive-bomb --

Run! Run left now, and get to the other side. Ignore the plants. Tons of
Beezos will dive down at you at you. Head down the ladder at the end.

-- Area 6, Annoying Wall --

Climb half down the ladder and get off on the ledge with the three plants.
Grab anyone of them uncovering a bomb. Time it so the bomb is about to
explode, then throw it at the wall. It will blow up in mid-air making a gap.
Hop down then super jump through the wall. Climb up the ladder, but don’t
exit out. Instead head left. Falls down to the area with the caged Porcupos.
Run left and grab the very last plant uprooting a bomb. <QUICKLY> run back
to the <RIGHT> and drop the bomb on the wall caging the Porcupos. After it
blows out a hole, grab the plant to the left side of this Porcupo cage.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #2 <><>

With the red potion in your characters hands, make sure the Porcupo cage on
the right side of you is in view. Throw down the potion and enter the red
door. Hop down through the hole and grab the subspace mushroom for a total
of four hearts.

-- Area 6, (Continuing on)

Head back right and super jump up onto the higher ground. Take the ladder up
and ascend out of the area.

*******MINI-BOSS******* Birdo #3 (Red)

Had left and enter the red door. Now travel all the way down the long dirt
corridor. Walk along the blue blocks till Birdo comes into view. Hop down to
Birdo and hit her with three eggs to get rid of her. Pretty straight forward
right?

Grab the crystal orb Birdo spits out after it dies. Run to the left and grab
one of the mushroom blocks, falling through the hole it creates. Run all the
way to the end of the corridor. Enter the eagle mouth and exit out. COURSE
CLEAR ! If you have any coins, gamble like the impure, sinful soul that you
are for 1-UPs. :P

<><> Subspace Mushroom #2 <><> [LUIGI ONLY! If your not Luigi, start reading
from the @@@@@@.]

Grab the center plant of the set of three. With the red potion in hand, go
left. Look up above and you should see a platform with a red door above.
Super jump up there. Hop to the left to the first block of bricks, dodging
the Spark. Hop to the second block dodging this Spark too. Jump over to
where the two jumping Ninjis are, then carefully jump over them. Run past
the ladder. Throw the potion so the door appears right on the edge of the
platform. Enter in the door and grab the subspace mushroom for a total of

“stilt” above the walking red Shy Guys. Head all the way back down and exit
the red door at the bottom.

-- Area 3, (Coming back)

Throw down the key to get rid of the Phanto. Grab it again and jump to the

Watch out for the Sparks! Jump over to the <EDGE> of the platform above.
Wait for the Spark to clear then run under the giant “plus” piece. Hop on
top of the blue blocks. <IGNORE> that ladder. Super jump on top of the giant
“plus” piece then hop to the next piece. Jump over to the smaller “plus”
piece. Hop up on top of the blue blocks then jump over to the ladder. Climb
to the very top. Then <VERY> strongly jump to the left and land on the blue
blocks. Watch out for the circling Spark! Super jump up to the higher
platform of blue blocks. Jump right and enter the red door.

-- Area 7, Hall of Chains --

<DON’T> fall in the pit or you will have to do Area 6, Death Ascent all over
again. Hop to the right to the first brick piece then up to the next higher
on. Jump onto the ledge above and dodge the descending Tweeter. Jump up the
next three brick pieces and grab the plant at the top. Uncovering a red
shell, chuck it at the two blue Shy Guys killing them. Hop over the shell as
it ricochets back. <QUICKLY> run to the end and ascend the chain, in the
process dodging some Panser fireballs. Climb to the very top of the chain
and you will notice a string of chains across. You’re going to have to cross
all of them without falling so you don’t get hit by the Pansers’ fireballs.
Press a hard <RIGHT> at the top of a chain, then press <UP> right as your on
the next chain. Get to the last chain then ascend up it. Hop to the right
and jump over the three jumping Ninjis. Exit out the red door.

-- Area 8, Spark Alley --

<DON’T> fall in the pit or you will have to do Area 7, Hall of Chains all
over again. Jump on top of the blue brick piece and duck under the Sparks.
Run left and jump on top of the first brick piece. Dodge the Sparks. Grab
the plant uncovering a POW block. Quickly chuck it down and kill all the
Sparks. Hop up the next two blocks of bricks and then jump on top of the
blue piece. Jump over to the blue “C” block. Now just hop up the stairs of
block blocks all the way to the top, dodging the Sparks as you go along. At
the top climb up the wooden ladder then walk to the right. Exit out of the
red door.

-- Area 9, Castle Summit --

Head to the right and grab the plant uncovering a red shell. Run forward and
hop on top of the higher platform. Throw down the shell and watch it skate
along. <FOLLOW> it! A dead-Ninji smorgasbord! Hop over the pit in the
platform and run down to the end. Jump over to the crystal orb and grab it.
Exit out the eagles mouth to the world 3 boss…

*********<><><> BOSS OF WORLD 3 <><><>*********
              ******************

“Robirdo” -The evil, mechanical, giant-egg shooting Birdo

You plunge down into a huge room made of colorful Legos with chains hanging
from the ceiling. Carefully run to the right until Robirdo comes into view.
It will then activate itself.

There are exactly four extra growth hearts around. Two can be reached by
climbing the chains and two are the plants on the ground. So make each of
them count.

It’s going to take a massive five hits to bring down Robirdo. When Robirdo
jumps into the air, jump into the air as well so when Robirdo lands, the
shockwave doesn’t freeze you in place. If your are frozen in place, Robirdo
will run you over causing a heart of damage. When Robirdo shoots two giant
eggs at you, quickly grab one of them and chuck it at Robirdo injuring her.
She will be frozen in pain for a few seconds, then charge straight at you.
Jump up above her or climb a chain so you don’t get hurt.

After three hits, Robirdo will move much faster. But just make sure to take
every opportunity to hit her with an egg. After five hits, its all over and
Robirdo will crumble and fall off screen. Victory music plays and the white
door appears. Exit out.

And yes finally… COURSE CLEAR ! *CONVULSES* THE HORROR! THE HORROR! I SAW
TERRIBLE THINGS MOMMY!

WORLD 4 ICE IS NICE

      Course 1
- - - - - - - - - -

-- Area 1, Ice Slide and Glide --

This world rocks, it’s so much fun to play! The world boss rules as well and
the enemies are fun fun fun. Anyway, lets begin.

Head to the right and grab the <FIRST> plant uncovering a sprout. Using a
bit of chucking skill, head right and <IMMEDIATELY> chuck it to the right
and take out both Flurries charging at you. Grab the growth heart to super
size yourself if you need it. Keep heading right and dodge the first Trouter
that hops on screen. Hop across the gap and second Trouter and land on the
five-block ice piece. Watch the two Flurries scurry into the pit. Hop down
to the ice platform below and run, run, to the right. Dodge another Trouter
and two more Flurries charging at you. Jump on top of the higher ice
platform and continue right. Jump across the small pit and hop over the
first Flurry, then the second one. Hop up on top of the higher ice platform
and head right. Jump across another pit and land below. If you need a growth
heart, grab the center plant. Watch it, the Flurries will be quite thick.

Head right and dodge the Flurries and another Trouter. Jump on top of the
higher ice platform and continue right. Jump over the Flurries then the tiny
pit. Chances are the Flurries will run over the pit and continue chasing
you. Run for your life to the right. When you reach the end jump over the
stairs and pit over to the ice ledge on the other side. Wave bye as your
snowball friends descend to their deaths in the icy water below. Jump on top
of the land and then up to the top where the two plants are. Grab the plant
on the left side.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #1 <><>

With the red potion in hand, make <SURE> the entire three-block ice ledge to
your left is in view. Chuck down the potion and enter the red door. Grab the
subspace mushroom for a total of three hearts on your health meter.

-- Area 1, (Continuing on)

Head to the right, and look below. You will see a small area with a single
plant underneath the ice ledge, just mocking you. Carefully jump down to it,
making sure not to fall in the water. Grab the plant. Surprise! You blast
off into the air in a red and white rocket ship.

-- Area 2, Ice Straits --

Even though the boss music is playing, Birdo is no where in sight. Head to
the right, crossing along the ice. Hop on top of the snowy land then jump
down to the ice below. Run right and a Autobomb will come into view. Jump on
top and grab the Shy Guy, then chuck it so it kills the now-on-autopilot
cannon. Head right and jump on top of the white pillar. Jump on top of the
snowy land and keep going right.

Ascend over the five progressively taller white pillars but make sure not to
be hit by fireballs from the Autobomb. Jump down to where the Autobomb and
Flurry are. Ignore them and jump over there heads. Go right, and at the end
jump over the white pillar. Hop down the ice at the lower level. Jump over
the two white pillars and over the Flurry’s head. Run right along the ice.
Watch out! At the end of the ice an Autobomb will come barreling down the
steps. Jump over its head and hop up the steps. Jump over the two jars and
drop way down to the ice below. Hop over the Flurry and keep heading right.
Watch out! At the end <ANOTHER> Autobomb will come barreling down another
set of stairs. Hop over it and ascend the stairs.

Grab the crystal orb at the top. Too easy! What no Birdo you say? Yep.
That’s another reason this world rocks. No frikkin’ egg-shooting Dinos on
the first level. I guess the climate is too cold or something.

Enter the eagle mouth and exit out. COURSE CLEAR ! If you have any coins,
gamble like the impure, sinful soul that you are for 1-UPs. :P

      Course 2
- - - - - - - - - -

-- Area 1, Porcupo Glacier --

Fuzzy creatures and large POW go boom. Me like a lot. Me like crush little
creatures. Run to the right and jump on top of the Super POW Block. Grab it
and immediately throw it to the ground killing all the Porcupos. If your
lucky you will get a 1-UP. Run to the right along the ice and grab the blue
vine against the wall. Ascend out into the mountain air.

-- Area 2, Beezo Avalanche --

There’s a growth heart floating in the air to the left if you need it. Go to
the right and hop up the ice pieces. Now run along the ice platform. Beezos
will start to swoop right down at you. Jump, duck, and dodge all the Beezos
while continuing to run right. Jump over the two Flurries that charge at you
and keep going right. At the end, hop down to the ice piece below. Continue
dodging those pesky Beezos. Run right and jump on top of the higher ice
piece. Run right and hop over the Flurry. After running to the end of the
ice, jump over the ice stairs and pit to the ice platform on the other side.
Jump up on top of the cloud and enter the red door.

-- Area 3, A Whale of a Good Time --

Hop down to the top of the whale below. Jump on top of the Giant Blue Shy
Guy and grab it. Chuck it to kill all three of the Blue Shy Guys running
amok. Now head to the left, but <WATCH> out for the blow hole on the whale,
if it spurts up water it can hurt you. However, you can jump on top of the
stream of water to take no damage. Once to the left of the blow hole hop
over to the baby sized whale. You will see three plants sticking out of its
back. Strange I know. Maybe they’re barnacles? Grab the plant farthest left.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #1 <><>

With the red potion in your grasp, make sure both the top of the whale <AND>
the tail is in screen. Chuck down the potion and enter the red door. Being
careful not to fall in the water, hop over to the subspace mushroom. Grab it
for a total of three hearts on your health meter. Neat that they placed the
mushroom on the whale’s tail.

-- Area 3, (Continuing on)

Hop back to the right, over to the larger whale. Dodge all the annoying blue
Shy Guys and jump up on top of the ice piece in the air. Wait for the blow
hole on the right to spurt water, then jump on top of it. Hop over to the
smaller ice piece but be careful not to slide off. Wait for the next blow
hole to your right to spurt water, then hop on that one. Jump over to the
next ice piece. Hop down to the pillar of land below with the plants on it.
Jump across the water to the next higher pillar, then the highest one. Grab
the plant farthest right on top of the pillar.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #2 <><>

When you have the red potion in your hands, look to the right. Make sure
both of those ice pieces are in screen then chuck down the potion. Make sure
<NOT> to throw it in the water. It’s even happened to me, your favorite FAQ
author. Don’t be a victim of these water fooleries. :P Enter the red door
and hop over to the mushroom. Grab the subspace mushroom for a total of four
hearts on your health meter. If you now die from being hit to much, you
truly suck.

-- Area 3, (Continuing on again)

Jump along the two ice pieces then hop on top of the baby whale. Dodge the
blow hole water and jump over to the large whale. Dodge the spurt of water
on this whale as well. Grab the blue Snifit pacing back and forth and chuck
it in the water. Walk to the right side of the whale and super jump up on
top of the ice platform. You will see a baby whale in the water below to
your right, <WAIT> for the water to spurt up then jump on top of the stream.
Hop down on the blue Shy Guy’s head and chuck it in the water. Hop to the
next whale, dodge the water, chuck away the blue Shy Guy. Now jump to the
large whale. Repeat the process, dodge the water, get rid of the blue Shy
Guy. Walk to the right side of the whale and super jump up on top of the ice
platform high above.

Run to the right, jump over the Flurry and continue to the end. Drop down to
the small ice piece then jump over to the piece of land. Grab the center
plant on top. You will take off in a rocket ship. Go speed racer, go!

-- Area 4, Autobahn? No, Autobomb! --

This area is a bit tricky, may take a few tries to get it right. Run to the
right along the ice and jump over the three blue Shy Guys. Hop down on top
of the white pillar and wait for Autobomb to come into view. This is the
tricky part. Jump on top of the Autobomb and grab the red Shy Guy. <QUICKLY>
chuck it aside and then <QUICKLY> jump on top of the cannon. Ride the cannon
to the right and across the spikes in the ground. Ride it to the end and
jump over the two Porcupos, landing on the ground. Enter the wooden door
against the wall on your right.

*******MINI-BOSS******* Birdo #4 (Red)

Yea, Birdo is back for the second level. It was fun while it lasted. Jump up
on to the higher ground then run to the end. Jump across the pit and land on
the long ice platform.

This Birdo is like the previous red ones, except its more tricky to fight
because your fighting on an ice platform. You will slip and slide a lot, so
try not to move to much. Just jump straight up and down to dodge. You will
probably also get hit a bit, so use the plants underneath the ice platform
for growth hearts. <DON’T> grab the center plant, it’s a stupid booby trap
Bob-Omb in hiding. Hit Birdo with three of it’s own eggs to take it down for
the count.

Grab the crystal orb Birdo spits out after it dies. Run to the right to the
end of the ice platform and hop across the pit. Jump down to the eagle mouth
below. Enter the eagle mouth and exit out. COURSE CLEAR ! If you have any
coins, gamble like the impure, sinful soul that you are for 1-UPs. :P

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -
      Course 3, Final
- - - - - - - - - - - - - -

-- Area 1, Ice Chamber –-

Run to the right and ascend the ladder. At the top, exit out the white door.

-- Area 2, Egg-cellent --

Immediately jump up on to the blue platform above, dodging the egg fire from
the Birdo. Hop over the two red Shy Guys the fall at you. Now, of the three
plants grab the one on the left.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #1 <><>

Now that you have the red potion, head to the left. Hop down to the ground
below and keep going left. Watch out for egg fire. At the end you will find
three white pillars. Make sure all three of them are in screen then chuck
down the potion. Enter the red door then super jump up on top of the highest
pillar. Grab the subspace mushroom for a total of three hearts on your
health meter.

-- Area 2 (Continuing on)

Backtrack and head along the ground to the right. Jump on top of the
platform above the wooden door again and jump over the two red Shy Guys.
Now, jump to the <RIGHT> of the pink Birdo and land on the ground. Wait for
it to shoot out and egg, then jump on <TOP> of it. May take a few tries.
Stand on top of the egg and ride on it. It will pass over the ground, and
continue on above the ocean. At the other end, the egg will just hit a wall
and you’ll fall to the ground. Hop up the platforms to the top. Walk to the
edge on the right. A wooden ledge will come into view. Wait for the Tweeter
to fall into the water then hop down to the wooden ledge. Jump over the
series of five Tweeters and enter the red door at the end.

-- Area 3, Demonic Tower I --

Be careful of the exposed spike pit down and to your right. Jump on top of
the ice piece just left of the door, then hop up the next two ice pieces.
Dodge the Flurry that flies down. Jump up and to the left, to the ice piece
made of four blocks. Jump high in the air and dodge a second Flurry. Jump to
the left and land on the ice platform connected to the wall then jump up the
next two pieces. Hop into the air and dodge two more Flurries barreling
down. Jump up the series of ice pieces till you reach the two large ice
platforms attached to the walls. Dodge the two Flurries and jump up the two
large ice platforms. A platform with spikes on top of it will be in view.
Hop up the ice pieces on the right side of it, then continue hoping up till
you reach a platform with a plant on it. Grab the plant.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #2 <><>

With the red potion in hand, fall back down the ice pieces. Make sure the
two ice platforms right <ABOVE> the spikes are in view. Throw down the
potion and enter the red door. Grab the subspace mushroom for a total of
four mushrooms on your health meter.

-- Area 3, (Continuing on)

It’s really easy now. Just jump up the ice pieces and dodge the Flurries all
the way to the top. No muss no fuss. When you reach the top, exit out the
red door into the light.

-- Area 4, Demonic Towers’ Summit --

Walk to the right and grab the first plant.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #3 <><>

With the red potion, run to the left and pass by the red door. Run to the
end of the wooden platform. Jump up the two clouds floating in the air. Jump
on top of the brick piece at the very top of the tower. Hop along the five
pieces. Span the gap and jump to the top of the second tower. Hop along the
stone pieces here, and drop the red potion on the <LAST> stone piece
farthest to the right.

Enter the red door. Grab the subspace mushroom for a total of five hearts on
your health meter. Your now adequately prepared to face the world 4 boss.

-- Area 4, (Continuing on)

Drop down from the top of the tower to the <LEFT> and land on the wooden
platform down below. Enter in the red door.

-- Area 5, Demonic Tower II --

You will notice a red and blue Shy Guy and a Tweeter about to pass
underneath you. Walk over and wait to the left of the door for them to pass
right underneath you. Now fall down and land on the head of the <TWEETER>.
Ride on its head and it will fall down to the spikes below. Hoping along
them, the Tweeter will descend down to more spikes. Keep riding it and wait
for it to bump into the wall and turn around. Keep riding it and it will
fall in the pit. <STAY> on the Tweeter till it reaches the bottom. When you
hit bottom with the red door, jump off the Tweeter and let it be on its
merry way. Enter in the red door.

-- Area 6, Phanto Key Room --

<DON’T> move a muscle. Wait for the two Flurries above you to skate to the
two ends of the platform, then super jump up in between them. <QUICKLY> hop
up to where the key is. Grab the key and hop back down to the floor.
<QUICKLY> throw the key and kill the two Flurries that follow you. If you
miss, jump on top of the key to “stilt” above them, then try again. When the
Flurries are gone, grab the key and exit out the door.

-- Area 5, (Coming back)

Throw down the key to get rid of the lone Phanto following you. Pick it up
again and descend down the ice platforms. Very simple like before. Just
dodge the Flurries, and don't hold on to the key for to long and you will be
fine. But, be extra careful this time as to not throw the key to far off
screen. It really is a pain to go back and get another one. At the bottom,
watch out for the spike pit on the <RIGHT> side of the tower base. With key
in hand, exit out the locked door.

-- Area 7, Demonic Towers’ Backside --

Run to the right and jump over the two blue Shy Guys and the Giant Shy Guy.
Enter in the red door.

-- Area 8, Final Glacier --

Run too the right, along the ice. At the end grab the crystal orb sitting on
the metal blocks. Wait for the two Flurries overhead to fall into the pit
below, then jump over to the eagle mouth. Exit into the final room of world
4, the boss chamber.

*********<><><> BOSS OF WORLD 4 <><><>*********
              ******************

“Fry Guy” -The giant, flame-shooting, living fireball.

What the nut? A fire-type boss in the ice world? Fry Guy is going to be
quite a tough battle. At least as hard as Robirdo in world 3. When you first
enter the tiny room made of Legos, you will see a pair of eyes floating
below you. Four bubbles float up and circle it. Setting it ablaze, Fry Guy
appears. “I’m too hot to touch!” he taunts at you. We’ll see… you over-grown
charcoal grill reject.

There is only three pieces of health laying around. One is a growth heart
floating in the air to the right when you first enter. The other two are
located in plants on the ground.

There is only two attacks that Fry Guy has. Firstly he can shoot projectiles
of fire at you very quickly, so always stay moving. And secondly, he has a
tendency to bump into you. Make sure not to bump into him! He is made of
fire after all!

There are five mushroom blocks positioned around the room. You must pick up
the mushroom blocks laying around and chuck them at Fry Guy. After three
hits from mushroom blocks, Fry Guy has a nasty surprise for you. He splits
into four tiny puffs of flame! You must throw a mushroom block at each of
the tiny flames to snuff it out. Luckily, each flame only takes one hit. The
flames may be able to hop at you quickly, but they can’t jump very high or
reach you at the highest part of the room. That’s your safe spot. Hint! Try
building a barrier of mushroom blocks to protect yourself if you have time.

After snuffing out all the flames, victory music plays and the white door
appears. Exit out.

And yes finally… COURSE CLEAR ! If you have any coins, gamble like the
impure, sinful soul that you are for 1-UPs. :P See, didn’t I tell you that
this world ruled so much? Well, this next world rules too, but is very hard
and has very long courses compared to this one.

      Course 1
- - - - - - - - - -

*IMPORTANT Note* I very <STRONGLY> recommend that you pick Peach as your
character for this course. There are many tricky jumps, in which her glide
jump comes in extremely handy.

-- Area 1, Panser Alley --

Run forward and jump up on top of the green hill with the three plants. Grab
the first plant you see, uncovering a sprout. Run to the right, falling back
down to the ground and passing over the Ostro. Run forward and pass two
trees, then chuck the sprout at the Panser killing it. Keeping running
forward to avoid the Ostro. Fall down off the edge to the piece of land
below. <WATCH> out! The Ostro will fall down with you so dodge it. Head to
the left and jump along the two land pieces. Enter the wooden door.

-- Area 2, Water Logged --

Run forward and pass the first plant, grab the plant right on the edge of
the ground.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #1 <><>

Getting these series of two mushrooms is going to be quite a challenge. Now
that you have the red potion, hop down to where the chain of five plants
are. Jump across the waterfall and pit to the ledge on the other side. Super
jump up to the higher point. To your right you will see a huge waterfall.
You must get across it using the logs that fall off of the top. Cross along
the tops of the four logs. Remember, you can also jump on top of the
Trouter’s head and use it as a platform. Reach the small area of land on the
other side. You now have to scale a second waterfall. Only this time, you
have to use two Trouters as platforms. Time it carefully and scale across
there heads when they pop up.

When you get to the next piece of land on the other side, make sure the
entire top of the land is in screen. Throw down the red potion and enter the
door. Grab the Subspace Mushroom for a total of three hearts on your health
meter.

-- Area 2, (Continuing on)

Span the next gap using the single log that falls from the top of the water.
Jump on top of the pillar on the other side. You must now span another gap,
only this time using three Trouters as platforms. Cross over on top of them,
but make <SURE> on the third and final Trouter, you use it as a springboard
to jump to that tiny piece of land at the top of the waterfall with two
plants. Grab the plant on the right.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #2 <><>

Now that you have the red potion, <CAREFULLY> fall off the <LEFT> side of
the little piece of land at the top of the waterfall. You will fall to the
larger piece of land below. To your right should be a smaller piece of land
at a lower altitude. Make sure it’s in screen then chuck down the red
potion. Hop over and grab the subspace mushroom for a total of four hearts
on your health meter.

-- Area 2, (Continuing on again)

Jump across to the piece of land lower then you, then wait. On your right,
wait for the Trouter to pop up at the bottom of the screen then <QUICKLY>
hop on its head and take a ride upward. Jump off on top of the high pillar.
Jump across the small gap to the next parallel pillar. The final gap is
before you! On the next gap, hop to the first log, then to the second. Ride
the second log down the waterfall then hop to land. Run to the end and enter
the wooden door.

*******MINI-BOSS******* Birdo #1 (Green)

This is the first green colored Birdo you have encountered on your journey.
Unfortunately for you, green Birdos are tougher then both pink and red ones.
While pink Birdos shot eggs only, and red Birdos shot a combo of fireballs
and eggs, green Birdos <ONLY> shoot fireballs. The only way to hurt a green
Birdo is to chuck a projectile at them. Luckily, there is always a mushroom
block nearby when fighting.

In this fight there are two growth hearts floating in the air. When you
enter the room you will see Birdo sitting up high on a block platform. Run
forward and it will scream “I’m ready for you this time!” Run underneath the
Birdo as it falls to the ground. Jump over to the mushroom block. Your going
to have to take this block and hit Birdo with it three times. Birdo shoots
three fireballs, pause, then two, pause. Remember that pattern as to not
get yourself killed.

Grab the crystal orb Birdo spits out after it dies. Run to the right and
jump up on the higher ground. Jump down to the eagle mouth below. Enter the
eagle mouth and exit out. COURSE CLEAR ! If you have any coins, gamble like
the impure, sinful soul that you are for 1-UPs. :P

- - - - - - - - - -
      Course 2
- - - - - - - - - -

-- Area 1, Rock Chamber --

Run forward and pass the three plants. Jump up on to the higher ground. Hop
over the giant Red Shy Guy and ascend the ladder out.

-- Area 2, Midnight Stroll in the Forest --

Run to the right and pass under the four plants. Keep going right until you
see three Hoopsters on trees. Wait for the first one to descend to the
ground. Hop on its head and ascend the tree, passing over the Ostro. Jump to
the right, over the two other Hoopsters and land on the ground. Head forward
all the way to the end. Up above on higher ground you will see three trees
with Hoopsters on them. Wait for the Hoopster on the tree closest you to
descend to the ground then <QUICKLY> super jump up, landing on it’s head.
Hop to the right, passing over the other two Hoopsters. Now head right. Jump
on top of the jar and enter in.

Quickly head to the bottom of the jar and grab the plant, uncovering a bomb.
Place it on the dirt block floor and blow a hole in it. Drop down through
dodging the red Shy Guy. Drop to the floor or the jar and dodge the two
Porcupos. Grab the plant on the <RIGHT> side.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #1 <><>

With the red potion in hand, jump back up the platforms and exit out the top
of the jar. When back outside in the forest, head to the right. You will see
a pit and a ledge leading off to lower ground. Make sure the pit is in
screen, then throw down the red potion. Enter the door. Jump down to lower
ground and grab the subspace mushroom for a total of three hearts on your
health meter.

-- Area 2 (Continuing on)

Now hop down off the ledge to lower ground. Go to the right and jump over
the Porcupos and Ostro. Run to the end and jump to the high ground. Walking
over to the tree on the ledge, wait for the Hoopster to drop down to the
ground. Hop on it’s head and grab it. Chuck it at the other Hoopster right
across the pit. Jump over the pit to that small piece off land, then super
jump up on top of the platform above. You will see two trees growing on two
tiny pieces of land sticking out of the pit. Hop across the two trees using
the Hoopsters and land on the platform on the other side.

Hop across the small pit to the first pillar of dirt. On the second pillar
of dirt, wait for the Hoopster to drop to the ground then jump over to the
pit and land on it's head. Grab it, and chuck it at the fire-spitting
Panser. Super jump up on top of the pillar where the Panser just was and
grab the plant.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #2 <><>

Now that you have the red potion, jump over to the next pillar, then jump to
the land. Make sure the green hill with the plants on top of it is in view,
then throw down the potion. Enter the red door and grab the subspace
mushroom for a total of four hearts on your health meter.

-- Area 2, (Continuing on again)

Run right and dodge the Ninjis. Walk over and stand right next to the edge
of the land. Down below, wait for two Porcupos and a Ostro to fall in the
pit, then hop across the pit and down to the land below. Go right and jump
up onto the vine. Ascend out of the area.

-- Area 3, Night Clouds --

Ignore the two giant blue Shy Guys closing in from either side, and keep
climb up the vine. Keep climb up until two Snifits, on platforms either side
from you come into view. A Hoopster on the vine your climbing up will
descend down. Hop off the vine, then quickly hop back on to the Hoopsters
head. <DON’T> get off. Ride all the way to the bottom of the vine, then ride
it all the way to the top. <DON’T> get off at any time even if you get hit.
Once you reach the <VERY> top of the vine, hop to the right and enter the
wooden door.

-- Area 4, Spike Filled Descent --

Run forward and grab the POW block, falling down through a hole it makes.
Chuck aside the POW block and keep falling and falling. Dodge the spikes
that come into view then keep falling. When the cost is clear, veer over
against the <LEFT> wall. Drop down to the ledge to safety. Worst part is
over. Hop across the water using the two platforms then enter the wooden
door to fight Birdo.

*******MINI-BOSS******* Birdo #5 (Red)

Yes, you read that right. You fight another red Birdo instead of a green
one. Run to the right and jump over the three Porcupos walking towards you.
Jump over the gap in the bridge and start your fight with Birdo. Remember,
you can also use that Trouter hopping up an down as a projectile to hurt
Birdo. Hit Birdo three times to get rid of her.

Grab the crystal orb Birdo spits out after it dies. Run to the right and
jump up onto the higher bridge. Run all the way to the wend, entering the
eagle mouth. COURSE CLEAR ! If you have any coins, gamble like the impure,
sinful soul that you are for 1-UPs. :P

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -
      Course 3, Final
- - - - - - - - - - - - - -

-- Area 1, Another Rock Chamber --

Run forward and grab the plant, uncovering a red shell. Chuck it up on top
of the higher ground and take out all three of the blue Shy Guys. Now jump
up yourself and run to the end. Ascend the ladder out.

-- Area 2, Albatoss Alley --

Climb all the way up, and get off the ladder to the right. OK, prepare
yourself to run. Quickly run to the right and cross the grass. Jump up on
top of the first pillar of dirt blocks. Be patient. Carefully wait for a
Albatoss to fly by that’s going <RIGHT>. Jump on top of it, then just ride
along for smooth sailing. If you fall off the Albatoss, run along the ground
at high speed and <QUICKLY> jump back on. Ride <ALL> the way to the <END> of
the area, marked two Bob-Ombs and a huge tree trunk. Hop off the Albatoss to
the ground below. Head down to the lower ground and then go left. Descend
down the ladder.

-- Area 3, Forest Cavern --

Climb down the ladder all the way to the ground and get off. Run left,
jumping over the two Bob-Ombs that run at you. Keep running left till you
reach the blue brick ledge. Hop off it and across the pit, landing on the
ground on the other side. Keep going left and jump up the logs, dodging the
Bob-Ombs. Run left and a gap in the log will come into view, with a Panser
on the other side shooting fireballs. Grab the plant and jump high up, then
chuck the turnip across killing the Panser. Jump the gap to the other side
of the log. Run forward and fall to the lower ground. Enter the wooden door.

-- Area 4, Inside the Demonic Tree --

<PAUSE> the game. Listen for a second. Now this is probably going to be the
trickiest area in the game you’ve encountered yet. It’s fairly easy if you
know <EXACTLY> how to beat it, so read the instructions <CAREFULLY> and
you’ll be fine. I have even broken it into pieces for easier reading. You
may now unpause your game.

<DON’T MOVE.> Wait for the Spark to your right to pass you by. Fall off the
ledge down to the lower ground. <IMMEDIATELY> grab the mushroom block and
fall through. Wait for the Spark to follow you, then chuck the block at it,
killing it off.

Now pick up the same mushroom block again. Hit the L button so you can make
the screen view go <DOWN>. To the left and down you will see a vase spewing
out red Shy Guys. <HURL> the block to the left so it falls down and lands on
<TOP> of the vase. Fall down as well. At the bottom, kill any Shy Guys that
have come out by throwing them at each other. Grab the mushroom block
<AGAINIST> the wall and fall down lower.

Immediately chuck aside the block, and run to the left. Grab this mushroom
block and fall down lower. Kill this second Spark with the block if you need
too. The plant here is a growth heart, you’ll probably need it. Hop over to
the right, and grab this block <AGAINST> the wall. Fall down even lower.

Down and to your left will be another white vase spewing out Shy Guys.
<QUICKLY> throw the mushroom block in your hands <FAR> left so it falls and
lands on the vase. Jump down yourself and land on the blocked vase. Kill any
Shy Guys walking around. Grab the mushroom block <IN> the floor and fall
<STRAIGHT> down to the bottom of the tree. Chuck the block left and kill the
Spark. Hop on top of the wood platform, then jump over to the left and land
on the stack of three mushroom blocks.

Just jump straight up the series wooden platforms all the way to the top
where your just left of the white door you first entered from. When you get
on that platform, <IMMEDIATELY> jump to the left to dodge the Bob-Ombs and
land in the alcove with the growth heart.

Ascend all of wooden platforms to the top of the tree, meanwhile dodging the
fireballs from the Pansers. At the top, watch out for the chain of Sparks
then hop over to the white door. Exit into the light.

-- Area 6, Tree Top Triumph --

This is the last straight to the world 5 boss, good job! Walk to the right
and jump over the two giant blue Shy Guys. Walk to the end of the log and
jump up to the higher log. At the higher log, run to the end of it then hop
down to where the blue Snifit is. Jump on its head and toss is off the long
into the abyss. Run to the <RIGHT> edge of this log and wait for the Pidgit
to dive down, then jump on it’s head. Toss it aside and <IMMEDIATELY> ride
the carpet to the right. Just fly straight to the right. Ignore and fly
around the second Pidgit that comes into view. Keep flying right until a log
comes into view. Hop down to it. Run to the end of the log, and simply jump
from cloud to cloud dodging the blue Shy Guys as you go. At the end hop to
the log. Jump along the logs until a red Birdo comes into view.

*******MINI-BOSS******* Birdo #6 (Red)

Yep, the creators of this level were especially mean. Not only do you have
to fight the world 5 boss at the end of this level, but Birdo as well.
“What, you apes wanna live forever?!” - Starship Troopers. Anyway, this
Birdo is easy as pie. Just hit Birdo with three of her own eggs too win the
fight. No trouble at all.

Grab the crystal orb Birdo spits out after it dies. Run to the right and to
the end of the log. Jump across the pit onto the ground. Hop up the ledges
and then enter the eagle mouth.

*********<><><> BOSS OF WORLD 5 <><><>*********
              ******************

“Clawgrip” - The mutated, psychotic, rock-chucking crab

You fall into a large chamber with pits and made of colorful Lego blocks.
Honestly, this boss is retardly easy. The only way you should even die is if
you accidentally fall in one of the two pits. After a few tries you can even
beat this boss without getting hit once.

Run to the right and hop over the two pits. In the corner you will see a
stack of gray rocks with a cute little red crab next to it. All of a sudden,
four bubbles float up and surround the crab, transforming it into Clawgrip.
It yells “Arg! You’ll make a tasty treat!” What is this, Gilligan’s Island?

There are three growth hearts laying around. One is the plant that is next
to you right when you drop in the room, and the other two are growth hearts
floating in the air. You shouldn’t even need all the health.

Do this exact thing and he is retardly easy. First, make your character
stand right on the <LEFT> edge of the pit <CLOSEST> to Clawgrip. Wait for
Clawgrip to chuck a rock a rock <DIRECTLY> at you. Jump over it, and it will
bounce off the wall behind you. <QUICKLY> jump on top of it and chuck it
back at Clawgrip hitting him. Repeat five times for fast effective crab
killing. Tasty crab cakes. After he’s dead victory music plays and the white
door appears. Exit out.

And yes finally… COURSE CLEAR ! If you have any coins, gamble like the
impure, sinful soul that you are for 1-UPs. :P One world remains, then you
can access Wart’s castle in world 7 for the final confrontation. Are you
ready?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
WORLD 6 DESERT WASTELANDS
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

- - - - - - - - - -
      Course 1
- - - - - - - - - -

-- Area 1, Cobrat Chaos --

Super jump off the top of the eagle mouth behind you if you need a growth
heart. Run forward and cross part of the quicksand. Wait for the Cobrat to
jump out of the sand, then jump on it’s head. Chuck it aside. Cross the next
part of quicksand and jump on top of the first bone piece. Jump to the
second bone piece, landing on the head of the blue Shy Guy. Grab it, and
chuck it at the Cobrat in the sand in front of you. Run forward and cross
the quicksand. Jump on top of the jar with the Cobrat in it. Grab the
Cobrat, chucking it aside.

Jump to the right and land on another piece of bone. A Pokey will be slowly
moving towards you. Jump over its head, at the same time jumping over two
cactus and a plant. Run forward, and grab the plant that’s growing between
two the two cacti ahead. It uncovers a red shell. Chuck it back at the Pokey
killing as many sections as possible. Jump on top of the tall cactus and hop
down. Cross the quicksand and wait for the Cobrat to pop up. Jump on it’s
head and chuck it aside. Jump to the first bone piece and another Cobrat
will pop out of the sand. Jump on its head and grab it. Chuck it at the blue
Shy Guy on the second bone piece to your right. After it’s dead, hop over to
the bone piece where it was. Cross the first patch of quicksand to the safe
spot where the tree is.

Run across this next section of quicksand and hop on the bone piece. Ahead
you will see two jars next to each other with Cobrats in them. Wait for them
to stop firing BBs, then jump on top of the first jar. Chuck aside the
Cobrat in it so it hits the Cobrat in the second jar. Hop to the second jar
then down to the ground. Jump on top of the bone piece in front of you and
two more Cobrats will pop out of the ground. Jump over there heads then jump
up on top of the higher ground.

Jump on top of the short cactus, then on top of the taller one. Wait for the
Pokey ahead to slowly creep towards you. Wait for it to just wobble right
back and forth below where your standing. Now, <QUICKLY> jump down from on
top of the cactus, passing the <FIRST> plant in the ground, and grab the
<SECOND> plant.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #1 <><>

Now that you have the red potion, <IMMEDIATELY> jump up on top of the tall
cactus, dodging the two Pokeys incoming from both sides of you. Wait for
both of them to just wobble back and forth below you then jump down. <RUN>
to the right across the sand. Hop over the Panser and the four cacti. Run to
the end. You will see and wooden door surround by blocks. Make sure the top
of the blocks is in screen, then throw down the red potion. Enter the door.
Grab the subspace mushroom for a total of three hearts on your health meter.

-- Area 1, (Continuing on)

Do I even need to tell you? :P Run over and enter the wooden door.

-- Area 2, Jar Heaven --

This cavern has tons and tons of jars in it. The trick is learning which jar
is the one good one. Run to the right. At the end fall of the edge down to
the row jars below. Watch out for Cobrat fire. Travel to the end of the row
of jars, all the while dodging the Cobrats shenanigans. Stand on the very
last jar in the row of them, it will have a mushroom block on it. Turn to
the left. Now, count back <FOUR> jars. Should be the <FIFTH> one from the
end. Enter inside it.

-- Area 3, Phanto Key Jar --

Head to the bottom of the jar. There will be a dirt floor and a red Shy Guy
passing back and forth. Dig down through all thirteen layers of the sand. At
the bottom you will reach a golden key and a lone Phanto mask standing
guard. There’s only three Shy Guys trying to follow you, so it’s not very
hard. Grab the golden key. Remember, you can chuck the key at the Shy Guys
to kill them. Continually grab and then chuck the key to scare away the
Phanto. Bring the key up through the sand layers to the top. At the top take
it and exit the jar.

-- Area 2, (Coming back)

The Phanto will dive bomb at you. <IMMEDIATELY> chuck aside the key. Grab it
again, and head right. With the key head down to the end of the corridor.
With it in you hands, exit out of the locked door.

*******MINI-BOSS******* Birdo #2 (Green)

Yea it sucks, I know. Another green Birdo. Run forward down the corridor.
Three mushroom blocks and a tall hill of dirt will come into view. Hop to
the top of the hill and the green Birdo down below will begin to shoot her
fireballs. Now, hop back down and land on top of the mushroom blocks. Grab
one of them. As you can see, there is a set of six tan blocks next to you.
You <CAN> walk through these with the mushroom block in your hand over to
Birdo. But Birdo’s fireballs can <ALSO> go through these. Wait carefully,
then run through the tan blocks. Chuck the mushroom block at Birdo to score
a hit. Repeat two more times and your done.

Grab the crystal orb Birdo spits out after it dies. Run to the right and
enter the eagle mouth. COURSE CLEAR ! If you have any coins, gamble like the
impure, sinful soul that you are for 1-UPs. :P

- - - - - - - - - -
      Course 2
- - - - - - - - - -

-- Area 1, Three Steppe Cavern --

Run forward and jump on top of the mushroom blocks, then jump up to higher
ground. Jump over the two Ninjis and walk to the end. Stand next to the wall
and super jump up to the highest level of ground. Run to the right and exit
out the white door.

-- Area 2, Give me Albatoss or Give me Death --

After you enter the area, you will notice a Albatoss flying to the right at
the bottom, left hand corner of the screen. <IMMEDIATELY> run forward along
the ground, following the Albatoss that’s below. When you get the chance,
hop of the edge of the land and jump on the Albatoss. Catch a ride forward
across the pit.

<WATCH> out. All of a sudden, three Albatosses fly straight at you. Try to
dodge them, then land back on the Albatoss flying to the right. Fly and fly
and fly across the pit. A Panser spitting fireballs straight up in the air
will come into view. Jump over it and it’s projectiles, then land back on
the Albatoss.

Ride along across another huge pit, until a pillar of land comes into view.
Standing on the Albatoss, crouch down and wait to super jump. When you fly
<RIGHT> next to the pillar of land, super jump up on top of it. <QUICKLY>
run to the right and hop to the next pillar, then jump back down on top of
the Albatoss.

Fly across an extremely long pit, then finally when a pillar of land comes
into view, jump up on top of it to safety. Grab the plant sticking up to
uncover a giant vegetable. With it in your hands, hop up to the higher
ground. Chuck the giant vegetable to kill the string of jumping Ninjis
blocking your way. Run to the right and enter the wooden door.

*******MINI-BOSS******* Birdo #3 (Green)

This course was extremely short huh? Run forward down the long corridor,
then stop right at the end of the land. Down below in a valley you’ll see a
giant blue Shy Guy right below you, and a green Birdo standing still
anticipating your arrival.

Hop down, and land on the block ledge right <ABOVE> the giant blue Shy Guy.
Then fall down, and land <RIGHT> on top of the Shy Guy. Pick up the Shy Guy,
then the Birdo will activate. Chuck the Shy Guy to the right to score your
first hit on Birdo. There are two other mushroom blocks here. You know what
two do. Hit Birdo two more times and it’s gone for good.

Grab the crystal orb Birdo spits out after it dies. Run to the right and
then super jump up to the block ledge. Hop onto the ground and run right.
Jump over the small gap. Enter the eagle mouth. COURSE CLEAR ! If you have
any coins, gamble like the impure, sinful soul that you are for 1-UPs. :P

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -
      Course 3, Final
- - - - - - - - - - - - - -

-- Area 1, Sand Pit --

Run forward and jump up, grabbing the ladder. Ascend it and exit out.

-- Area 2, Quicksand, Quick Shortcut --

Climb to the very top of the ladder and get off on the ground. Grab the
plant to the right side of ladder.

<><> Subspace Mushroom #1 <><>

Now that you got the red potion, jump over the three cacti ahead of you. Hop
to the first bone piece. On the next bone piece ahead you will see a blue
Shy Guy. Hop over to that, then quickly throw down the red potion so the
door is on top of the bone piece. Chuck aside the blue Shy Guy into the
quicksand. Make sure the tops of the two cacti to your <RIGHT> are in view.
Now enter the red door. Grab the subspace mushroom for a total of three
hearts on your health meter.

-- Area 2, (Continuing on)

Now your going have to back track to the left. Hop back along the bone
pieces then jump back over the three cacti. Run to the left of the ladder.
As you can see, quicksand is sinking into the ground even <UNDERNEATH> the
sheer cliff. Very suspicious.

Hop <INTO> the quicksand <AGAINIST> the wall and you will be able to see
there is something on the other side of this sheer cliff. Sink <JUST> far
enough in the quicksand so the <TOP> of your head is sticking above the
surface. Press <HARD> left on the control pad and press A as fast as you
can, traveling in the quicksand to the left, <UNDERNEATH> the sheer cliff.
When you reach the other side, surface out of the quicksand and hop onto the
ground. Enter in the red door.

-- Area 3, Demonic Walkway --

Hop to the left along the three cloud pieces. At the last cloud piece, take
a leap of faith and jump off the edge. Land on the bricks below. Watch out
for those blue Shy Guys. Run to the left and enter the wooden door.

*******MINI-BOSS******* Birdo #7 (Red)

Back to a plain old red Birdo. They better make up their minds already! One
problem with this Birdo. There are <NO> growth hearts laying around, so
don’t get hit. :P Run to the right and jump on top of the mushroom block.
Birdo is waiting in alcove up above. Wait for Birdo to pause her firing,
then super jump up through the gap in the floor and land. Hit Birdo with
three of her own eggs to get rid of her.

Grab the crystal orb Birdo spits out after it dies. Drop down through the
gap in the floor back onto the ground. Run to the right and enter the eagle
mouth to face the world 6 boss.

*********<><><> BOSS OF WORLD 6 <><><>*********
              ******************

“Mouser” -The giant, bomb hurling mouse (Duel 2)

It’s kinda sad really, the world 6 boss is just a rematch of the world 1
boss, and he’s not even that much harder either! Same battle, but you just
have to worry about hopping over some Sparks. Yeah Nintendo! Ho hum...

You immediately plunge down into yet another chamber made of colorful Lego
blocks. How intimidating, some two year old must have built it. Jump over
the Spark that moves at you. See those two growth hearts floating up there?
That’s all the extra health you have.

Run to the right and jump in between the two chains. “Here, have some
bombs!” Mouser calls out from his perch. Haven’t we heard that somewhere
before? Well run to the right, and wait underneath the platform Mouser is
standing on. Wait as he chucks down his bombs.

There are a few differences in this battle. Firstly, avoid the Spark that is
going around the room. Secondly, when you get a bomb in your hands, your
going to have to <SUPER> jump up to throw it on the platform where Mouser
is. Let’s not strain the players too much! Lastly, your going to need to hit
Mouser with <FIVE> bombs to bring him down. Maybe he ate some super cheese
or something. After he’s dead, victory music plays and a white door appears.
Exit out.

COURSE CLEAR ! If you have any coins, gamble like the impure, sinful soul
that you are for 1-UPs. :P You have almost conquered everything. One world
remains. Now fight through world 7 to face the evil King Wart himself!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
WORLD 7 THE GREAT KINGDOM OF WART
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

- - - - - - - - - -
      Course 1
- - - - - - - - - -

-- Area 1, First Ascent Up --

This level is more long and annoying, then difficult. I despise this level
the most because it insults me. Where’s the good level that’s hiding behind
this one? Well anyway, immediately jump over the two Shy Guys walking
towards you and land on the first cloud piece. Jump to the second cloud
piece, then the third. Run to the left and ascend the ladder. Exit into the
next area.

-- Area 2, Go Al-ba-toss a Salad --

Ascend to the very top of the ladder, and get off on the cloud piece to your
right. Jump on top of the tip of the gray metal pillar and get in a
crouching position. <WAIT> for an Albatoss to fly by above, that’s heading
to the <LEFT>. Super jump up and land on the first one you can get. Ride it
to the left, <ALWAYS> stay on it. Hop the first pillar in the way, then the
second. Hop over the pillar with the cloud on top, and keep riding on the
Albatoss to the left. Jump off where you see the ladder. Ascend to the top
of it, and fall down to the area between the two gray pillars. Grab the
plant and uproot a rocket ship. Go! Speed racer, go.

-- Area 3, The Most Annoying Area in the Game --

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have died, you will be little, and only have one hit.
Right when you restart this area, to your left is a gray pillar with a plant
on the other side of it. Grab it for a growth heart. Your going to need it.
This area will definitely take a few tries before you beat it.

If you only have two hits, try not to get hit until the second paragraph.
Run to the right and jump up to the cloud piece with the Tweeter on it. Jump
on the Tweeter’s head and grab it. Chuck it at the black Snifit shooting BBs
at you from on top of the pillar. Jump over that pillar to the higher level
of clouds. Jump over the next gray pillar to the next higher cloud area. Run
to the right, and you will see another black Snifit shooting BBs at you.
Jump up on top of it’s head, and chuck it as far right as possible.

Fall down to the same level where it is, then run to the left. Run through
this maze as <FAST> as possible so few Spy Guys spawn from the vase. Why?
Because if you get hit, your character is faded and momentarily invincible.
When you reach the end, jump to the black Snifit to your left. Land on it’s
head, then chuck it to the cloud piece <ABOVE> you, getting it out of the
way. Run to the right, along the very bottom level. Watch out for that blue
Shy Guy.

Run to the end, and you may or may not see a Ninji above. Wait for it to run
into the pit. Jump to make the Ninji jump, run to make the Ninji run, ect.
Then hop up to the platform it was just at. Run to the end fall down to
where the black Snifit is. Jump over it, then super jump up to where the
ladder is. Ascend out, the hard part is over.

-- Area 4, Thunder Clouds --

Run to the right and jump on top of the cloud piece. Above you will see a
Spark going along the clouds. Once it’s clear, super jump up. Above is a
higher cloud platform with three mushroom blocks. Wait for the Spark above
to get out of the way, then super jump up to where the mushroom blocks are.
Quickly grab one, and chuck it at the Spark when it charges at you, killing
it off. Above and left will be a ladder. <CAREFUL> a Spark is circling the
ladder. Super jump up to the ladder and ascend it. To the right will be a
chamber holding a Spark made of mushroom blocks. Just avoid the Sparks and
stack two mushroom blocks on <TOP> of the block cell. Jump on the highest
stack and super jump to the next area.

Watch out for the Hoopsters on the four parallel ladders. Take either of the
two ladders in the <CENTER> and ascend to the top of them. Take the next
ladder to the top. Exit to either side and ascend another ladder. Get off
and enter the red door.

*******MINI-BOSS******* Birdo #4 (Green)

Mean in green is back! This one is really tough, since there’s no extra
growth hearts around and only one mushroom block. What, you wanted a
cakewalk in the final world? Hahaha. Run to the right and jump on top of the
ledge made of purple blocks. Hop down to the mushroom block and grab it.
Jump to the right where Birdo is waiting for you. The trick to make this
Birdo much easier is this. Chuck the mushroom block to the right and hit
Birdo for the first hit against her. Now you have to pick the block back up.
Run over to Birdo, and jump <ON> her head. Wait for her to fire off her
projectiles, then hop down, grab the block, and jump <BACK> on her head. Hit
her two more times and she’s done for!

Grab the crystal orb Birdo spits out after she dies. Head down to the eagle
mouth and exit out. COURSE CLEAR ! If you have any coins, gamble like the
impure, sinful soul that you are for 1-UPs. :P

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -
      Course 2, Final
- - - - - - - - - - - - - -

-- Area 1, Wart’s Demonic Castle: Entry --

Your finally here, the final level in the game. And the last level I have to
write walkthrough for! Yahoo! Pick Peach, if you actually want to survive
here. Hop up and to the right and land on the first cloud. From here, hop to
the higher cloud above you. Just above you will be a black Snifit. Jump up
on it’s head and grab it. Chuck it to the right, killing another black
Snifit on a pillar below. Jump down to where that Snifit was just at, then
jump over the pillar. Head right, and hop over the pit. Watch out for more
Snifit fire. Jump on this Snifit’s head, and chuck it in the pit. Hop over
the gray pillar and run across the drawbridge. Press up on the control pad
when in the black doorway. Believe it or not, that’s a common question I
find in my email!

-- Area 2, Wart’s Demonic Castle: Conveyor Belts --

When you enter the room, you’re automatically on a conveyor belt. Just ride
it to the right, and hop over any red Shy Guys walking at you. This is
really easy if your Peach, like I told you too be! Jump over the white vase
at the end of the first conveyor belt and land on the second. This one is
moving left, so your really going to have to run to move to the right. Hop
over the three jumping Ninji’s. Jump down to a low conveyor belt, this one
is also moving left. Run along it to the right and hop over any Bob-Ombs.
Jump over the vase.

<IGNORE> that chain leading down, that’s the harder way to get through the
castle. Jump to the higher conveyor belt above the chain and take a gentle
ride to the right. At the end, hop down to the final conveyor belt. It’s
moving left, but run along it to the right. Avoid any Panser fireballs from
below and reach the end. Hop up and ascend the chain to the next floor.

-- Area 3, Wart’s Demonic Castle: Spark Room --

Ascend the chain to the very top, and get off to the left. Wait <INBETWEEN>
these two chains for the Sparks to pass, then enter the little circular
room. Run left to the other end, and wait right in <FRONT> of the first
chain. This is a safe spot from the Sparks coming from both sides. Run under
the spark to your left to safety. Ascend the chain and exit the room.

-- Area 4, Wart’s Demonic Castle: Too Many Sparks --

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you die in this area, you will restart down at the
beginning of it with only one hit. You can descend down the chain to the
previous area “Spark Room” and get a growth heart off to the left.

Hop to the floor and run to the right. Ascend the chain against the wall to
the top, then switch over to the chain to the left. Ascend this one into a
little chamber then get off on the floor to the left. Your going to have to
run under all these Sparks. Remember, you can stop right in <FRONT> of a
chain for a safe spot. Run to the left under the Sparks, then take the chain
up. Hop up to the <FIRST> purple block platform, then stand on the <RIGHT>
edge of it. Hop up to the next high platform when the Sparks clear, then
<DUCK> down. Wait for them to clear again, then super jump up to the chain
and grab it. Ascend all the way to the top.

Get off on the purple ledge then hop up to the ledge with the two plants.
The one on the <LEFT> is a growth heart, and the <LEFT> one is a booby trap
Bob-Omb. So don’t kill yourself. Now it’s real easy. Just ascend all the
purple ledges and gray pillars, dodging sparks at the same time. Just watch
out for Sparks hitting you off screen. Use the L button so you can adjust
your view. Peach’s glide jump comes in handy here. At the top, ascend the
chain and exit to the right at the top. Enter the red door.

-- Area 5, Wart’s Demonic Castle: Conveyors ‘N Sparks --

To your right you will see a POW block. Hop over the Spark charging at you
from your right and land on the POW block. Wait, hop over <ONE> Spark, then
hop over a <SECOND> Spark. <IMMEDIATELY> grab the POW block and chuck it
down, killing most, if not all of the Sparks. Now run to the right, and
ascend the chain against the wall. At the top, take a gentle conveyor belt
ride to the right, but make sure to <DUCK>! At the end, hop down, and
descend the chain out.

-- Area 6, Wart’s Demonic Castle: Phanto Key Room --

*******MINI-BOSS******* Birdo #8 (Red)

This is the final Birdo of the game, and a red colored one. You’re going to
have to fight this Birdo on a conveyor belt moving to the right which makes
things much trickier. Make sure to be <LEFT> of Birdo to make things easier.
Get up <AGAINST> the wall, and grab any eggs she shoots. Grab them right
before they hit the wall, or <AFTER> they ricochet off it.

If you dangerously low on health, you can exit out the red door, get two
growth hearts, then enter back in. But Birdo will be fully recharged. Better
then dying right? Hit Birdo with three of her own eggs and she will spit up
the Golden Key.

-- Area 7, (Continuing on)

The key will ride the conveyor belt and get up against the right wall. Grab
it and <RUN> along the conveyor belt to the left using the R button. Enter
the red door.

-- Area 8, Wart’s Demonic Castle: Your Almost Done! --

Throw down the key to scare away the Phanto, then pick it up again. Use the
key to kill the two Sparks circling to your left. With key in hand, hop over
the gray pillars and enter the locked door.

*******MINI-BOSS******* Eagle Mouth

Yes, there is a second mini-boss in his level, and yes you read “Eagle
Mouth” correctly. You know the eagle mouth you always exit to move to the
next level? Well this one will only let you enter it after you give it a
good beating with mushroom blocks.

Run to the right and grab the first mushroom block on the gray pillar. With
the mushroom block, continue right. Hop over the gray pillar, then run over
to where the crystal orb is sitting. Set the mushroom block down, then grab
the crystal orb.

The Eagle Mouth will come alive and fly off the wall. Grab the mushroom
block. Get down to the lowest point possible on the floor and wait. Wait for
the Eagle Mouth to charge at you, then dodge it. Throw the mushroom block at
the <BACK> of it’s head. After three hits, the eagle mouth will open.
<IMMEDIATELY> throw down the mushroom block and enter the mouth.

“The Evil King Wart” -The vegetable hating, bubble-shooting green toad

Wee! Catchy music! The Evil King Wart may take a few tries to beat him, but
with a little practice and using Peach, you should be able to beat him.
Right when you enter this demented chamber, you will see four plants at your
feet. This is all the extra health you will get. If your about to die, hop
back to the area and grab a growth heart or two.

Hop into the corridor to your right, and run down it, passing four Phanto
masks. Drop down into a little area with a crazy looking machine. This is
the Vegetable Hurler, it will spit out vegetables for you. Use the
vegetables as projectiles to hurt Wart.

Continue running right. You will see the evil Wart in all his glory. “I am
the great Wart! Ha, haha! he calls. What your going to have to do is grab a
vegetable when it’s spit from the machine, then <WAIT> for Wart to open his
mouth. Chuck the vegetable at his mouth to score a hit. After you hit him
three times, Wart will most likely get cheap and back up before opening his
mouth. If this happens, here’s what you do. Get a vegetable, then hop up to
the ledge where Wart is standing. Wait, then chuck. Easy as pie!

After five hits, he’s done for the count! You get a whooping 10,000 Points
and the charred toad flies off the bottom of the screen. Victory music plays
and the white door appears. Exit out.

COURSE CLEAR ! GAME CLEAR ! ! ! ! !

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE ENDING
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

After you exit out the white door, your character run’s into a small room
with a jar. A cork is blocking the top of it. Your character jumps on top of
it, removing the cork and releasing a group of red fairies. These are the
Subcons that asked for your help at the very beginning of the game.

The screen fades out, then back in. All four characters, Luigi, Mario,
Peach, and Toad, are standing on top of a large pedestal. Below is a line of
Subcons. They pass the charred body of Wart along it. Haha! :P

The player that you beat the most levels with is awarded the “MVP” or most
valuable player. Screen now fades to the credits.

After watching the cast of characters, “THE END” appears in cursive.

                       __ _ __
                      / \__/ // / ) /

                       \/ / /_\/_/ /___/| |_/_/_)

Shows your score, and “PRESS START.” Press it.

              17. Proper Way to Display This Guide on Your Site
============================================================================

This FAQ that you are currently reading may only appear on:

- GameFAQs <www.gamefaqs.com>

The reason being, is that I DIRECTLY send my FAQs there. Not only that, but
the webmaster CJayC does a good job of getting the FAQs up and keeping them
updated. Along with, rejecting crappy work from the site and checking for
plagiarists constantly.

HOWEVER, if you want to use my guide, but are not that site listed above,
here’s exactly what you do.

**** WEBMASTERS PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
What NOT to do:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

<<<<<< DO NOT >>>>>>
...copy and paste this FAQ on your website. This obviously, does not apply
to www.gamefaqs.com, like I said before.

<<<<<< DO NOT >>>>>>
...link this FAQ directly to your webpage. In other words, DON’T link to
anything that is the actual text guide or has a “.txt” or “.doc” at the end
of the URL. I repeat, NOTHING that ends with a “.txt” or “.doc” Don’t make
me repeat a third time. Just don’t, because not only does it aggravate me,
but it also violates the GameFAQs legal section that can be found here:

http://www.gamefaqs.com/features/legal/

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
PLEASE DO:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

...link to the GameFAQs Super Mario Advance page. In other words, link to
the page on GameFAQs where it shows a COMPLETE list of ALL the guides for
this game. That way, not only do you get my guide, but access to other
peoples as well. No muss, no fuss. Since the webmaster of GameFAQs CJayC
allows that, you DON’T even have to ask permission to do it either. It will
probably take you thirty seconds max, then you never have to worry about any
of the guides updating. You could name the link something like “GameFAQs
guides about Super Mario Advance.”
