"Not bad but not good either"

This game found its way into my collection not long after i completed silver mainly because id heard from a friend this game is unbelievably like Pokemon only you train robots to kill each other, so i slipped this game into my gba after £25 went into the shop keepers apron this is what i found...

Graphics: The graphics were quite well done and well thought out, the parts although similar also did have the correct animation and good timing for the gba when you punched the animation worked, when a part blew up on your robot that was well timed, the graphics in this game are defiantly not its downfall.

Sound: The sound also was very clear had the right sounds for the punches, the right style music to match the Pokemon genre it was trying to copy the sound was one of this games redeeming quality's and probably one of the things helping this game from falling from 4 to a 3.

Game-play: The main part of the game probably one of the things that helped this game fall id say a good 3-4 points the game was very short and limited, i completed the harder (red version) in 4 days and that was on and off not constant playing. It eventually also got boring from fighting this robot to that robot to get that part to complete this game, they could have done much Betta at making the battles last longer also when i got deep into the game i found myself waiting for it to kick off a battle, running up to the first robot hitting him, once he died running up to his partner and hitting him watched him die, then win and do the exact same thing all over again until you reach bosses which are also child weak and not worth fighting, this section needed a lot more tweaking to be anything close to what people were expecting.

Difficulty: This is the worst bit that made this game drop the rest of the way down to 4 its too easy, you will complete the harder version in a week max its so easy once u play a few hours u can literally hand any enemy there asses on a plate served with beef, this section just makes the game dull with a lack of competition a game like this is not worth the effort.

Replay: There is none! which is another big let down no extras, no nothing, once this game is done you can throw it next to that stick of bubble gum thats been on your shelf for 3 years, it has nothing that makes you want to play it again.

Buy? Rent? Eat?: its not too bad it just has nothing forcing you to play no story no replay just graphics and a entrance tune that will make you want to hang yourself with your gba link cable, if you must see it rent it first cause once its bought there is no going back...

Low Down:

Positives:
Start at 10/10 - 4/10
Graphics: 5/10
Sound: 5/10

Negatives:
Game-play: -3/10
Difficulty: -2/10
Replay: -1/10
