Note: This is meant to be used with the game Phantasy Star III to provide
insight and explanation to specific features of this game. This is not a
walkthrough.
I. The Characters
This game is unique in that you start off with one party and then two more
generations of the same lineage. Each of the four endings are dependent on who
you marry. At this moment, I am on my second ending so, this is going to be
incomplete as to the later characters.
A. First Generation
01. Rhys (Kane Sa Riik)
The young prince of Landen, and a direct descendent of Orakio, he is rash and
impatient, wanting to take the royal army to wipe out Laya's clan when his
bride-to-be is kidnapped, despite the fact that no-one's -seen- a Layan for a
very long time. Like all true-blooded Orakians, he relies on his combat skill
and hardiness, having no technique ability, but fighting best with a two-handed
sword. He can equip swords, knives, needles and shields.
Initial Equip:
02. Maia (Marlena Le Cille)
The beautiful bride-to-be of Prince Rhys. She was found washed up on the
shore without being able to remember who she was or where she's from. Her
kidnapping started the mess.
03. Mieu (Meiu Type S2)
A combat-cyborg designed for close quarters fighting, overwhelming her
opponents with her lightning-fast reflexes and deadly claws. Left waiting by
the side of a lake for many, many long years, she at last comes into service
once again when Rhys discovers her. She stays with the royal family for all
subsequent generations. She can only equip claws.

04. Lyle (Lyle La Mirah)
The dashing young Layan prince of Shushoran. A hero to his people, he is
well-known for being completely unpredictable and spontaneous. A lesser-known
fact is that Lyle is also the dragon-knight, and it was in fact Lyle, in his
Dragon form, who originally kidnapped Maia from Rhys' wedding. (Rhys, however,
never learns of this.) Lyle has some ability in combat techniques, but wields
twin staffs with great skill. He can only equip staves and shields

05. Wren (Shiren Type 386)
A cyborg specializing in combat, and technical systems and analysis. Unlike
Mieu, he is a walking heavy-weapons unit, providing the party with firepower
support. He is located while searching for someone to fix the weather controls.
Later on in the timeline, his transformative abilities become of crucial
importance. He stays with the royal family for all subsequent generations. He
can only equip shots.

06. Lena (Lena No Satera)
The princess of Satera, a neighboring kingdom to Landen. First rescuing Rhys
from his imprisonment to go find Maia, she later shows up again in Shushoran.
Lena is short and fast, wielding a pair of knives with deadly accuracy. She can
equip knives, needles and emels.

B. Second Generation
01. Ayn (Ayn Sa Riik)
The son of Rhys and Maia (Marlena Le Cille), and the prince of Cille. Sent out
by his father with Mieu and Wren, to find Sattellite, a place said to be one of
eternal peace, he soon returns to find his homelands in ruins, and the people
seeking refuge in the desert land of Aridia. Unlike his father, Ayn is
half-Orakian and half-Layan, so he has some technique power. Like his father,
however, he wields a two-handed sword the deadliest. He can equip swords,
knives, needles and shields.

02. Thea (Lann la Mirah)
Lyle's only daughter and Ayn's childhood friend. Having not inherited her
father's abilities as the dragon knight, she instead fights from afar with twin
slicers, and supports the party with her techniques. She can only use slicers
and emels.

03. Sari (Lynn No Satera)
Lena's daughter, and the ruler of Landen during Ayn's generation. Possibly the
strongest character in the game, she is IMMENSELY powerful when she joins the
party, doing great damage with paired knives. She can use knives and emels.

04. Siren
Formally Orakio's General, he was sealed in Dalhia by Laya. When Rhys moved
the moons, Siren woke up and then started his attack. Ayn was sent to deal
with him.
05. Nial (Lane Sa Riik)
The true-blooded Orakian son of Rhys and Lena, consquentially the prince of
both Landen and Satera. Sent by his father to investigate the attack on Satera,
and accompaynied by Mieu and Wren, he soon learns what was started by his
father is not yet over. Like his father, he relies on his hardiness, and his
swordsmanship. He can equip swords, knives, needles and shields.

06. Alair (Luisa Kay Eshyr)
The sister of Lune. Both Lune and her were put in a cryogenic sleep on Azura,
that is until Rhys moved the moons. She was captured by the people in Divisia
and set free by Nial.
07. Ryan
The renegade Layan responsable for organising the resistance force against
Lune. When he first meets Nial, Mieu, and Wren, he believes them to be enemies,
but after Lune projects himself in to gloat, decides they are friends and joins
them to stop Lune. Ryan is a cool, calm and collected fighter, wielding a pair
of staves. He can only equip staves and shields.

08. Laya (Laia)
Awoken from cryogenics, she’s not the Laya from legends but, curiously enough,
her younger sister. She remembers the last time she saw her sister, she was
leaving with a knight with a black sword, and joins the company to find out the
truth of what became of Orakio and her sister. She can use bows.
09. Lune (Lune Kay Eshyr)
Formally Laya's General, Lune was sealed in Azura with his sister by Orakio.
When Rhys moved the moons, both him and his sister were awaken. Now, Lune is
out for revenge for his sister's capture.

C. Third Generation
01. Sean (Shin Le Cille)
The son of Ayn and Thea and the prince of Dahlia. He is the weakest
physically of the four end characters but, due to being 3/4 Layan, he can use
Healing, Melee and Time techniques. He, like usual, can use swords, knives,
needles and shields.

02. Crys (Noin No Satera)
The son of Ayn and Sari and the prince of Satera and Landen. The strongest
physically of the four end characters but, only can use Time techniques since
he is only 1/4 Layan. As with all the other princes, he can wield swords,
knives, needles or shields.

03. Kara (Luna Kay Eshyr) type 1
The daughter of Lune, and a wielder of Slicers. Kara type 1 is a viscious,
embittered woman who wants to go fight because she feels her father has grown
too weak to. MUCH stronger physically, but lacks healing techniques. She can
only wield slicers and emels.

04. Adon (Adon Sa Riik)
The son of Nial and Alair (Luise Kay Eshyr) and the prince of Azura
(Satellite), Landen and Satera. Since he is half Layan, he has access to
Healing and time techniques. He can wield swords, knives, needles and shields.

05. Adan (Fuin Sa Riik)
The son of Nial and Laya, prince of Landen, Satera and Mystroke. The twin
brother of Gwyn. He can use healing and time techniques and wield swords,
knives, needles and shields.

06. Gwyn
The daughter of Nial and Laya, princess of Landen, Satera and Mystroke. The
twin sister of Adan. She kept repetitively seeing visions of the Alisa III
falling into a black hole and is the cause of this ending’s quest. She takes
her mother’s place in the group, wielding Laya’s Bow and using healing and
order techniques.

07. Kara (Luna Kay Eshyr)
The daughter of Lune, and a wielder of Slicers. Kara type 2 is a delicate,
princess-type girl, weaker physically, but comes with strong healing

A. Healing (5TP)
01. Res - Restores HP. Can be used on one character of the party at a time.
02. Gires - Restores HP. Can be used on all the characters of the party.
03. Rever - Restores HP of one character whose HP is zero. Can be used on one
character of the party at a time.
04. Anti - Treats poisoned characters. Can be used on one character of the
party at a time.
B. Melee (2TP)
01. Foi – Creates enormous flames that inflict damage to one enemy
02. Zan – Cuts up all foes in one row
03. Gra – Crushes all enemies on the screen.
04. Tsu – Strong current of water pierce the enemy. Can be used to attack
groups A & C or B & D
C. Time (1TP)
