ie8 fix

Review by J J N

"Samurai Jack, Samurai Jack, Samurai Jack! JACK! JACK!"

Samurai Jack! Here is a fine example of an excellent video game; I didn't proclaim this because ‘tis my favorite television show but rather because of the eye-candy graphics, the internet characters and mediocre game play … this game does really capture the feel of Samurai Jack wondering around the global fighting nefarious forces.

You play this game as – guess who! – Samurai Jack – the vagabond who is wondering around to fight the evil entity who keeps trying to end Jack's life and unleash evil and devils and demons in to the world. And did I mention that he is trying to find a time machine to find his way home?

And so the story goes, you find yourself staying at a temple but ‘tis time for you to move on into your quest; the monk gives you a unique amulet that he claims it has been with the temple for ‘four hundred generation'.

Any, you move your way and go into your adventure. However, there are (optional) tutorials in which you can do, which I find to be very useful indeed.

Jack can do a number of things in the game including flashing his swords around and cutting down the enemies; he can run at a fast paced for an infinite duration; he can use his sword and deflect blows from the enemies and he can jump. Not only that but he can hop from wall to wall if there is two walls close by. One thing worth mentioning is that Jack is a fine sword man; therefore he knows how to do a power forward slash, downward slash, upward slash and 360 degree slash. Pretty nifty sword man ship if you ask me.

Like I mentioned earlier, this game really does capture the feel of Samurai Jack. Anything from the environment to the motions of Jack it feels exactly like the show. Not only does it feel like the show but it looks like the show too.

The graphics for this game reminiscent the show and is unique in it self; the graphics looks like its made out of flash or something. The whole game looks very similar to the TV show due the to textures of the game.

The enemies AI in the game is all right; some are hard, others are easy but the most important thing, I believe, is how fun the game is. And this game surely has a high rating on the fun factor. Slash the enemy, block, upward slash, jump around and hop about, this game is fast action pace just like in the show.

The only thing I wished the game developers would fix making the wall flip a bit easier because it's a hard thing to do; it in precise timing and everything.

In closing, I think this is a great game regardless if you're a Samurai Jack fan or not because this is an excellent game; in fact, I recommend you play this game just for the graphics! You won't be disappointed, I reckon.
