3)  ~ BOSSES AS SONIC ~

LEAF FOREST: Egg Hammer Tank II
------------------------------------------------------------------
DIFFICULTY: Easy
Keep running. You can get an easy hit the first time, but after that, expect
to be hit, and hit a lot. There are a couple of ways to do this. Either you can
trick him into extending his hammer longer than he should and run under it,
jumping into him, or you can just keep running forward and jumping as the
hammer comes down, activating your defense for a split-second in an attempt to
avoid the hammer. There are infinite rings here, so don't worry about losing
them. You can just keep running to get more. Beat Robotnik here to get Cream.

HOT CRATER: Egg Bomber Tank
------------------------------------------------------------------
DIFFICULTY: Easy once you get the timing down
Keep running. First, you need to hit the cannon. Be careful not to go too far,
or you'll hit robotnik - if you do, you'll get hurt. Be careful of the egg-
bombs the cannon launches; robotnik has rather good aim. Once the cannon is
gone, you have to keep up chase, hitting robotnik, while avoiding the bombs
that are pouring out of the new hole in his robot. These, unlike the cannon,
will always launch at the same angle and time. This part is easy to avoid. Keep
in mind however, once you hit him, you're vunerable to falling into a bomb.
Make sure to press upper-right diagonal to jump high enough to get over the
bombs. He'll fall apart, eventually.

MUSIC PLANT: Egg Totem
------------------------------------------------------------------
DIFFICULTY: Rather Easy
Keep Running. He'll launch the spiked disks. You can stand on them. A little
turret will shoot a pellet out from the bottom or top of each disk, and go back
into his tower thing. He'll launch the middle one first; jump on it, then jump
and hit him right on his head twice before it withdraws. Hit a turret when you
are falling back to make it withdraw. Eventually, he'll start switching disks
around; be careful not to be on one of these. Beat him to rescue Tails.

ICE PARADISE: Aero Egg
------------------------------------------------------------------
DIFFICULTY: Medium-Hard
Keep Running. This is a very annoying boss. He drops bombs repeatedly and
quickly. The only way to jump up to him is to jump on the platform behind him
and then onto him. The platform, however, will overturn when you step on it, so
you (hopefully) will bounce off of it and onto him. The bombs can hit you when
you bounce on the platform, so be careful. You'll eventually get the hang of
it. After 4 hits, he speeds up the pace. Be ready. He'll die in X hits.

SKY CANYON: Egg Saucer
------------------------------------------------------------------
DIFFICULTY: Hard
Keep running. A hand will keep trying to slap you away when you get close. This
will eventually drive you insane. You need to hit the pod with knuckles in it
to do any damage to the boss. You need to hit this pod from the TOP, not the
BOTTOM, or you will hit spikes. You can also hit the part with the gun to
destroy it, after about 4 hits. If the hand moves back into a fist, it is about
to sweep the area in front of the wheel. Be ready to fall back. Both the wheel
and the hand CAN crush you and kill you instantly. Getting rid of the gun helps
a lot. Beat it to unlock Knuckles and watch him chase after you cursing.
ALTERNATE STRATEGY: well, using sonic, destroy the laser first as best as you
can. Not many people notice this, but it puts a bigger gap between the hand and
Knux/eggman. so, to score hits: time your running to hit super speed slightly
before the hand reaches the top, and when you hit super speed, and are close
enough, press B.  Sonic will flip-kick knux/eggman, and also get hurt.  but in
bouncing back, you re-collect the rings. it gets out of having to avoid the
hand!

TECHNO BASE: Egg-Go-Round
------------------------------------------------------------------
DIFFICULTY: Easy
Keep running. This is rather easy. The white platforms will spin when they
flash, and the yellow platforms will shoot spikes out the top. Jump on either
platform color rotating around him and keep jumping into him from the top. He
also occasionally shotos out little orbs, so be sure to avoid those if you are
falling and can't spin. A platform is about to do something when the blue orb
in the middle of it turns red. Eventually he'll die.

EGG UTOPIA: Egg Frog
------------------------------------------------------------------
DIFFICULTY: Medium-Easy
Keep running. Be careful not to hit the super speed, becuase it will propel
you right over robotnik and into his legs. You need to hit the center part of
him. Gravity can keep changing depending on where he is; be ready for sudden
changes. If he falls back, he's about to change where he is. If he's on the
other side as you, he can launch bombs that will create fire on your side.
besides that, he's rather easy. If you can time it just right, you can keep
bouncing straight up and down on him directly. Try to do this at all costs; it
will speed up the battle tremendously. You can control where you are by
pressing up and down to switch gravity; use this when you are jumping to ram
into him from the other side.

XX ZONE: Boss Rush
------------------------------------------------------------------
DIFFICULTY: Easier than the bosses originally were
Hammer first. Keep running, and stay close. You can hit him quickly and often
if you do this. Tank now, he has a lot less hits than he did before, so stay
close, pummel the cannon, then hit him to send him into another form. Totem
now. If you can get on top of him, you can stay bouncing on his head and he
will go down fast. Aero again. He's exactly the same, but takes less hits.
Remember you still want to conserve rings during this part, so try to avoid
getting them, as you can't get them again once you lose them. Saucer now. Gun
can go down in 2 hits; wheel goes down in 4 hits. Try to keep your sanity
during this part, despite the urge to smash your GBA with a large hammer. Now
comes Go-Round again, and it's a bit easier this time, becuase he'll rarely
have both platforms activate. He also takes less hits. Don't forget that he
still shoots little orbs, and they can be the thing that kills you here. Here
comes Frog once more; remember up and down controls the gravity of you. Same
strategy as above here. Now the fun begins.

XX ZONE: Robotnik-Robot
------------------------------------------------------------------
DIFFICULTY: Hard at first
Welcome to hell. Platforms will keep rising up and down; they will shoot out
steam before they do, however. His only weak point is his head; you don't need
to be on a platform to hit him there. The ceiling is lined with spikes, so do
not jump up too far. He also will occasionally shoot out his arms; he will
constantly aim them at you, so be ready to avoid them by jumping quickly. He
will also shoot a giant laser out of his eyes, so if you're jumping at him when
he does this, you'll be in a world of hurt. You can destroy his arms with
enough hits; doing this makes the battle a lot easier.
MISC: Standing slightly between the back two raising pillars (more to the back,
keeps you out of attack range, (and if using cream, puts you in JUST close
enough range to attack all parts)). But that spot works for all characters, and
Knux can even hit the fists at that spot too. Tails' slash also works.

TRUE AREA 53: Robotnik-Space-Runner
------------------------------------------------------------------
DIFFICULTY: Frustrating
This is a bit annoying until you know what to do. Ramming into him has no use,
so don't. Try only to get close enough to him so he launches missles. What you
need to do is ram into the missles so they go and hit him. Robotnik has a few
attacks: He can fire a laser from the ship's "tail", he can fire missles, he
can fire little orbs in a number of different patterns, and he can suck you in.
If he tries to suck you in, keep dashing backwards repeatedly. If he sucks you
in, you'll lose a good deal of rings, and that's the LAST THING you want. The
beam also has an annoying side-effect of freezing you. Be sure to ram the
missles towards him before he starts sucking you in, or the missles will have
no effect. Once you've hit him enough, he can also do a barrel roll where he
will be invincible to reflected missles and will send orbs everywhere. Keep
dashing constantly and you can avoid this. He does the barrel roll instead of
the suck you in attack, so it's a welcome change. You are almost there when he
flashes red when you hit him. Keep in mind your time limit! You need to send
the missles at his main part, not the tail now, to hit him. Once it's over, sit
back and enjoy the ending. ^^

4)  ~ BOSSES AS OTHERS ~

- AS CREAM -
------------------------------------------------------------------
All bosses become pathetic. All you need to do is jump to avoid attacks, float
if neccessary, and keep sending your chao over to beat up robotnik. It's really
not that difficult.

- AS TAILS -
------------------------------------------------------------------
Tails can fly. Use this to your advantage in avoiding attacks. See Sonic's
strategies to beat bosses. Remember you lose all speed, however.
------------------------------------------------------------------
- AS KNUCKLES -
------------------------------------------------------------------
You really should have no need to use your punch on any boss. It doesn't have
enough range. Some bosses it could have some value, such as the Frog, but I
wouldn't reccommend using it. Just see the sonic strategies; Knux can glide, so
you can use that to float over an attack temporarily.

- AS AMY -
------------------------------------------------------------------
Amy is much easier now that she can use either the hammer or jump attack. So
you have the choice of either going right before robotnik and using hammer (hit
A when jumping) or using the normal jump. See sonic strategies for help in
using normal jumps. If enough people ask, i'll go in-depth with the hammer
here.
