    INTRODUCTION
    ************
    
    This FAQ is dedicated to helping gamers on Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
    for Nintendo's Gameboy Advance/SP. Aria of Sorrow is the latest chapter
    to the Castlevania series. In the game a young man named Soma is somehow
    transported to Dracula's castle. Now he must investigate with the help of
    other strangers, who also seem to be trapped. Soma must also protect his
    friend Mina from all sorts of evil and find out why Dracula's castle
    has risen once again. 
    
    This FAQ covers all the aspects of Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. The
    walkthrough covers on how to get through the game step by step and will
    include a list of the soul orbs that one might collect along the way. 
    This FAQ also has a list on all the different enemies and bosses of the 
    game. The weapons/items section will give you info on all the different
    items and weapons from the game. I also included an Ending section for
    those who want to finish the game with the true ending.

    Intro
    -----
    The year is 2035. Japan. Crowds of spectators are gathering around
    in anticipation of the first full solar eclipse of the twenty-first
    century. My name is Soma Cruz, and Ií am a high school exchange student
    studying abroad in Japan. I live near the Hakuba Shrine, an ancient
    shrine with strong ties to Japanese mythology. Mina Hakuba, the only
    daughter of the shrine's caretaker, is both my classmate and my
    childhood friend. I started making my way to the shrine to see the
    solar eclipse with Mina. But, for some strange reason, the stairway
    leading up to the shrine felt longer than usual, as if something was
    trying to keep us from our destination. When I finally managed to get
    through the shrine gate, and my senses began to dim...
    
    The pitch black sun is holding chaotic darkness together, trying to rouse a 
    sleeping soul as if looking for its missing other half...

    Story
    -----
    
    Exchange student Soma Cruz, and his best friend Mina Hakuba, are heading
    to an ancient shrine to witness a full solar eclipse. But during the event
    he and Mina, are transported to a strange castle. They are greeted by a
    stranger, who goes by the name Genya Arikado. Genya, tells them that they
    are trapped inside Dracula's castle, which is found inside the eclipse.
    Soma doesn't understand what's going on, but suddenly they're attacked.
    Soma, then witnesses for the first time his hidden powers. Genya, then
    tells Soma, that if he wants to escape with Mina alive, that he must head
    to the throne room. Along the way Soma will find out the truth about his
    powers and the reason why Dracula's castle has return to the mortal world.

    Characters
    ----------
    
    Soma Cruz: Soma Cruz, a High school exchange student is transported to
    Dracula's castle during the solar eclipse in Japan, along with his friend
    Mina Hakuba. Now Soma must search for a way out of the castle and find out
    the reason the evil castle has risen. But what he finds will shock him. 
     
    Mina Hakuba: Soma's best friend and heir to the Hakuba shrine. Mina along
    with Soma have been teleported to Vlad's castle. Now Mina's life is in 
    danger and is up to Soma to protect her.  
    
    Genya Arikado: This mysterious, yet powerful stranger welcomes Soma and
    Mina, when they arrive in the castle. Genya seems to know the truth about
    the castle, yet won't divulge any info to Soma. What is he hiding? And why
    does he insist to Soma, to reach the throne room?
    
    J: Little is know about this strange man. He was found unconscious in 1999.
    He woke up later, but had amnesia and couldn't remember who he was. Now
    he finds himself in Dracula's castle being brought there because of the
    prophecy. What connection does J have with the count?
    
    Graham Jones: The founder of a religious group dedicated to the evil
    Dracula. Graham is obsesses with the life or should I say death of Dracula.
    Graham was born on the year 1999. The last time a Belmont and Dracula were
    seen. 
    
    Yoko Belnades: Sent by the church to investigate why Vlad's castle has 
    risen. Yoko is also there to keep an eye on the crazy Graham. She is a 
    Belnades, so it is know that she shares a connection with the Belmonts.
    
    Hammer: He was sent by the army to investigate the Hakuba shrine, but
    somewhere along the way he gave up on his mission and decided to help
    people... but for a price of course.

    Basic Controls
    --------------
    
    The controls for AOS are simple, below I written the different 
    controls/moves Soma has and will acquire in your adventure. Note that
    the set up of the controls are in default.
    
    Moving = Directional Pad
    By hitting the D-pad up, down or to the sides, you move soma around and can
    use sub weapons when pressed with the attack button. Pressing down and B
    on a ledge, will make Soma drop down to the platform below.
    
    Attack = B
    By pressing the B button, Soma attacks at the direction he's facing. His
    attack can vary, depending on the weapon he has equipped. 
    
    Jump = A (Tap twice to double jump)
    In the beginning of the game, you can only jump once by pressing the A
    button. But once you find the Malphas soul, you'll be able to perform a
    double jump, by taping the A button twice.
    
    Use Blue Souls/Guardians = R
    Once you acquire a blue soul, you'll be able to use a Guardian. (Well, 
    actually become a guardian yourself) You just equip a blue soul and
    then press the R button to use it.
    
    use Red Souls/Magic = Up + B
    In the beginning of the game you should have a red soul in your
    possession. To use it, simply press up on the D-pad and the B button.
    
    Backward Dash = L
    Pretty early in the game, you'll find the Gravekeeper soul, which let's
    you perform a backdash. To do it, simply press the L button.
    
    sliding = Down + B
    You won't have this ability until later in the game. When you finally
    acquire it, just press down on the D-pad and the B button to perform it.

    Tips/Strategy
    *************
    
    -------------------------
    Gotta collect those souls
    -------------------------
    In AOS, the more you collect souls, the more powerful you become and stand a
    chance against some really hard bosses. There are also three important souls
    in the game, that if collect and equipped, you might get the true ending.
    
    ---------------------------------------
    Always keep your healing items in stock  
    ---------------------------------------
    Having a few Potions and Mind ups can help during those tough boss battles.
    
    ------------- 
    Check on Mina
    -------------
    Anytime you're lost, just head back to the entrance where you'll find your
    friend Mina. She always has info that will help you in the game and will
    also give you some info on different characters. If you're hurt, Mina
    will also heal you.
    
    ------------------------------
    Backdashing can save your life
    ------------------------------
    By using the Backdash (press L) you can avoid some of the enemiesí attacks.
    This works well when fighting huge bosses. 
    
    -------------------------------
    Ducking can also save your life
    -------------------------------
    Ducking is also another tactic, that if use in battle, it can save you a
    few potions and your life.
    
    -----------------------------
    Saving can als--ah, whatever!
    -----------------------------
    Anytime you find a save point, it is best to save the game. Not only
    does it save your game, but saving heals Soma as well. So use it whenever
    you can.

    Walkthrough
    ***********
    
    ---------------
    Castle Corridor
    ---------------
    
    After the cut scene ends, head to the door to start your adventure. In this
    area you will encounter Zombies. No matter how much you kill them, more
    will just appear. But this just means you have a great place to level up 
    and gain some souls. Once you're done with the area, head straight to get
    to the next section. In this area you will notice that you can't jump to
    the other side, so just drop down and retrieve the short sword, equip it
    and keep dropping down. You will notice that to your right there is a pool
    with an orb stand in the middle. Break it to obtain the backdash ability.
    But beware of the Merman, who will shoot fire at you. Now head to the left,
    and enter the door, so you can be taken to the Underground Reservoir. 
    
    Drop down and grab the Heart pendant before entering the door. In this
    area you must swim to the other side and grab the Tasty meat, which can
    heal 250 HP. Just watch out for the killer fish. Once you're done head 
    back to the area with the pool. 
    
    Head right so you may save your game at the save room. Now start climbing
    up and grab the cape at the top. Now enter the door to the right. In the
    first area you will encounter a few skeletons and on the second you will
    find two Axe Armors, who will throw axes at you. To defeat them just slash
    at them and when they throw an axe, simply duck or jump (depending how 
    they threw it). In this area you will also find the Skull Archer, avoid
    his arrows, when close enough, duck down and attack. You can try to level
    up or take their souls (Your decision). After you're done head to the blue
    colored, skull face door.

    Boss: Creaking Skull 
    HP: 240
    EXP: 110
    --------------------
    This first boss is pretty easy. He only has two attacks, first is swinging
    the bone in his hand and the second is opening his mouth to shoot a 
    fireball. To defeat him, you just need to attack him in close range. When
    he's about to make a swing, just backdash and throw a few spears (up+b).
    If he shoots a fireball, just simply jump over it. After a few hits, 
    Mr. Bones should be defeated.
    
    After you defeat the boss, keep heading right and grab the map. Head to the
    right to save, if not drop down and kill the bats and peeping eye (it's best
    to try and take it's soul so you can find hidden rooms). There is a hidden
    room in this area. Slash at the wall to the left, to grab a Mind up. Once
    you're done, head to the right. In here you will find the Flying Armor all 
    the way to the right (It's a dead end). Once you obtained and equipped it,
    head back to where you found the map and work your way up. You will find a
    few Skull Archers and Blue Crows in this area. Also beware of the Buer, a
    wheel type Lion. When you reach the top, use the Flying Armor to get to
    the door. You will be in a room with a White Dragon, you can either kill
    it or pass right by it. In here you will find a few enemies and Skeleton
    Knights. Once you have beaten them, try to get the Plated Armor on the
    right and the potion to the left, using the Flying Armor. Both of them
    are located above you. In the same area, go up until you find a door. 
    Make your way through this area, until you find a door that will lead
    you to a White Dragon. Pick up the Scarf, and then make your way back to
    the area where you found the Plated armor. Head to the door located in the
    bottom right. Youíll now be in a long hallway full with enemies, keep
    heading right (you'll enter a room and another hallway) until you find
    yourself facing a ledge. You can either jump to the other side to save or
    jump down and head to the left. Now fight your way down and go to the room
    to the right and pick up the potion. Come out of the room and head all the
    way to the left, you'll then be in a room where you must swim to get to
    the other side. When you reach you destination, grab the $500 and return
    to the save point. Once you're done saving drop down again, but this time
    head right. You have now finished the first section of the castle.

    ------
    Chapel
    ------
    
    After the talk with Graham, head right until you reach two broken stairs. 
    Jump to reach the area above. In this section, first head to the left to
    pick up $100. Then try making your way up by jumping onto ledges and a
    few bells. You should get a mind up and a Bamboo stick in this area. There
    is also a few Bone Pillar and Axe Armor you should try to kill or avoid. 
    Once you acquired them, head down to the stairs and head to the right. You
    will then encounter a Giant Ghost, defeat it and try to jump on the platform
    and head right, until you see some stairs. Go up and you'll be in another
    area. Here you'll encounter a new enemy call Durga, which will try to
    slash you with it's swords. Make your way up and pick up the Rapier. Once
    collected head down to the room below. Keep going down until you can drop
    down to another room. Next to you there is a save room. Keep dropping
    down until you face the blue colored door.
    
    ---------------
    Boss: Manticore
    HP: 440
    EXP: 250
    ---------------
    Another easy boss. Like the creaking Skull, Manticore only has two moves.
    The first is the two fireballs that come from its mouth and the second
    is using his tail to poison you. The best way to defeat him is by using
    one of your red souls. But you can also use the same tactic used on the
    Creaking Skull. When he attacks with the tail backdash and when he shoots
    fireballs simply jump over them (just be careful with the indestructible
    skull thing found above).
    
    
    When you're done beating it, jump on the platforms and go to the room on the 
    right to find a Silk Robe. Hit the ceiling to find a hidden room with some
    cash. Now head back where you defeated the boss and head to the left. Now
    fight your way through the hallway and go to the next room. Drop down, 
    but watch out for the Zombie officer. He can be defeat easily by
    crouching and attacking. After the battle, head to the door on the right.

    -----
    Study
    -----
    
    Go to the right and jump to the other side. Keeping heading right, 
    until you must drop down. Go left to find yourself in a small library. 
    Kill the witches and the ghost to find the Bastard Sword. Now head
    back to the entrance of the Study and drop below to another room.
    To the left of this room youíll find an Uncurse Potion. After you
    collected it, Work your way to the right, while killing the Evil
    Butchers, a Big Ghost and Bone Pillars. You'll come in a room where
    you must drop down, go to the left room and keep heading left until,
    you're in a room with a Catoblepas and some Ectoplasms. Climb up and
    head to the upper left corner of the room (watch out for the Rock
    Armor) and hit the wall to reveal a secret room. Grab the goods
    then get out of the room and drop all the way down to the next area.
    To the left there's a saving room. Head right to meet Yoko Belnades.
    Continue heading right, until you need to drop down. Head to the
    right and  you'll be in a hallway with a demon head. Face away from
    it and dash backwards to open it's mouth. Make your way through this
    room and find the Whip Sword. Once equipped, head back and go left
    to face another easy boss. 
    
    -----------------
    Boss: Great Armor
    HP: 650
    EXP: 300
    -----------------
    This guy is one of the easiest bosses of AOS. To defeat him, simply use
    the Whip Sword. The best tactic to use is to simply get near him and
    just slash away. When he starts to attack use the backdash ability.
    Repeat it over and over again, until he's dead.
    
    When you defeat the boss, head to the left to meet Hammer. After the chat,
    grab the soul to learn the double jump ability. Head back to the room with
    the box and use it to get a Heart Pendant and a sword. Return to the area
    outside the room where you found the Bastard Sword. Use the double jump
    ability to get a Hammer. Next head to where you fought the Zombie Officer
    and use the double jump ability with the Flying Armor, so you can reach
    the doorway in the upper left corner. Climb up then head to the right.
    Keep heading in that direction, until you're in an area with Ghost Dancers.
    Climb up and head to the first room to the left, in order to grab the
    Antivenom. Keep Climbing and then head to the left. Press up to be warped
    to another area of the castle. Now that you're back at the beginning,
    you can visit Mina and buy stuff from Hammer (I recommend to buy the 
    second map). At the entrance use the double jump ability to get the
    Lucky Charm. Now that you have the double jump ability, you can reach
    Places you couldnít before. I suggest you go out and explore for a while.
    After youíre done, head to where you first saw an Axe Armor and climb
    all the way up to reach a new area.
    ******************************************************************************
    
    ----------
    Dance Hall
    ----------
    In this new area you will meet a guy named J. After the conversation,
    head to the left, until you're in a big room with dancing ghosts. Next 
    drop down, keep going until you need to drop down again. Now go to the
    right until you'll need to drop again. In this area there is a save room
    to the right. After saving, go left to face the boss.
    
    ---------------
    Boss: Big Golem
    HP: 200
    EXP: 200
    ---------------
    Like the last boss, this one is very easy. It also has two lame attacks.
    The first one is spitting out rocks and the second one is trying to
    Hit you with its hand. Just use the same tactics as the last boss or
    stay under him and slash at the legs. Just be careful you're not walked
    on by one of his legs.
    
    After defeating it, enter the left room to obtain the sliding ability. 
    In this same room, there is a snake that will sometime bury it's self
    to the ground. But if you see it, kill it ASAP! You should also try to
    obtain its soul. It will come useful much later in the game. Return to
    where you saw the dancing ghosts and grab the weapon by sliding. Head to
    the left then climb up and keep heading left then drop down and then
    finally head right. Teleport to the study and head to the area between
    the save room and where you found Yoko. By using the sliding ability in
    this area, you can get the Red Ancient Book. This book will be very useful
    for getting the true ending. Teleport back to the study and try to get
    above the room with the dancing ghosts. Head to the right and then go up.
    To the right there's a save room. Next head all the way to the left, until
    you're at a dead end. Slash at the wall to reveal another secret room and
    grab the samurai suit. Head back near the save room and drop down. Next 
    head right, here you'll find some Minotaurs, just use the attack/backdash
    tactic. Now slide to get to the other side and head to the door. But before
    you enter it. Slash away at the ceiling to reveal another hidden room.
    But you can't enter it for now, so just enter the door.
    ******************************************************************************
    
    --------------
    Inner Quarters
    --------------
    
    Now you're in the Inner Quarters. You'll meet Persephone, a maid that knows
    kung-fu, but you should be able to defeat her easily. Head straight up, but
    be careful of the Durgas on your way. When you reach the next area, slash
    at the floor to open a new path. Drop down and kill the two Student Witches.
    Pick up the potion, and then slash at the wall to the right to open a second 
    area. Kill the Witch and take the armor. Now head back to where you slashed
    the floor. Climb straight up, while taking down a few Nemesis and Durgas.
    When you reach the top there will be four entrances. Two on the left and
    two on the right. The bottom left entrance leads to the Chronomage, who 
    won't let you go any further (We can take care of him later). The upper left 
    entrance contains a save room. The bottom right entrance has an enemy, and
    the upper right entrance has a boss. Head to the save room and then go
    to the upper right entrance to face the boss. 
    
    ----------------
    Boss: Headhunter
    HP: 700
    EXP: 3000
    ----------------
    Finally the bosses are beginning to be a challenge. In it's first form,
    you should just slash away like crazy. When it goes into its second
    form, try to avoid the magic attack it throws at you. Once you have 
    gotten enough hits, it will turn into it's final form. In this form,
    the boss becomes a real challenge, your best bet is to slash it as fast
    as you can and use potions when needed. 
     
    After the battle, head to the next room. You should see an opening above
    you, before you climb up, try to obtain Curly's soul. After you obtain
    her soul, enter the opening above. Now that you're on the roof, work your
    way up while taking down some Disc Armors. You should collect both the
    poison knife called Hrunting and the Undine soul, which will help you walk
    on water. After you've collected them, drop down and leave the area. Here
    you should  follow the stairs going down, head to the right where you'll
    find a fountain, equip the Undine soul and jump on the fountain to make your
    way up to the area above. Enter to the right and head down, but don't drop
    down to the next area, instead head to the left to enter a new room. In here
    you should be careful of the mirrors, since it contains a Kyoma Demon. Keep
    going left and then warp to the Castle Corridor. Return to the area where
    you obtained the Flying Armor. When you arrive equip Undine to walk on the
    water. You should see an opening above, so just double jump. Work your way
    up and then go right to enter a new area. 
    ******************************************************************************
    
    ---------------
    Floating Garden
    ---------------
    
    When you first arrive, you will be greeted by a Cockatrice. Try to avoid
    the eye beams, if you don't want to be turned into a stone. Near the
    fountain there should be a platform going up and down. Get on it, then
    make a right. Grab the map and head back down to the fountain. Head right
    and try to avoid being run over by the Dead Warrior. keep going right to
    enter a save room. Head back to the fountain and get on the up & down
    platform, that is located all the way to the left. Keep making your way
    up until you see an entrance to the left, enter it. Before heading left,
    climb up to collect some money. Once collected, head left. In this area 
    you will once again encounter the Manticore. I will advise you to fight 
    him till you get his soul, it will be very useful later in the game. Once
    you've gotten the Manticore's soul, climb up to get a money bag. Now head
    left again, above this area there's some cash, once you've collected it,
    head to the right. In this room, you should watch out for Rippers that come
    from above. Head down and save your game, I would also advise you to fight
    the Kicker Skeleton to gain it's soul. You shouldn't leave without it.
    Once the soul is in your possession, climb up and head left. Collect the
    cash above the area, then head right, right, left, left. By following my
    direction, you should be heading to our next destination.  
    ******************************************************************************
     
    -----------
    Clock Tower
    -----------
    
    After talking with that nut job, head to the next section to drop down. 
    Keep on dropping down, next head to the right to enter the next area. Drop
    again then head to the right to enter a save room. Come out of the save 
    room and head left. You'll meet up with Yoko, after she's done talking, keep
    going left, until you have no choice but to go up. But before you climb up,
    use a sub weapon on the wall to the left. After collecting the kick ass
    sword, head out and go up then finally head to the right. Keep going right
    then climb up, turn left, collect the item then go up, head to the right,
    grab the money bag then head up and finally head to the left. In here there
    will be two Lighting Dolls, take advantage of this and try to collect their
    soul. Once you have acquired the soul, head up, you should be face to face
    with a Great Armor. Fight him till you have his soul. Once you have it,
    head right, go up and turn to the right to save. Once you're done saving, 
    head left to the blue colored door to fight Death. Equip the Manticore
    or Curly soul before entering. 
    
    -----------
    Boss: Death
    HP: 4444
    EXP: 4444
    -----------
    Well, if it isnít Dracula's main man. After getting his bony butt kicked 
    in HOD, Death has return with a vengeance...against a guy who didn't do
    anything to him. Anyway, Death is one of the hardest bosses in the game. 
    In the first round you can only hurt his sickle, so try to attack it as 
    much as you can. You should avoid the sickle when it attacks, as well as
    the other smaller ones he throws. He will also charge up a beam that will
    make 5 beam blast come from above. It can be avoided by running away from
    it or sliding. Once youíve destroy the sickle, Death will pull out his
    Darth Maul type Scythe. He will either try to rush you with it or throw it
    like a boomerang. Your best bet is to use the Manticore (or Curly) soul
    I told you to obtain earlier. Keep rushing him with the soul and use mind
    up if you run out of MP. Rushing into him at least 4 times should defeat
    him. But if you don't have Manticore, then Lighting Doll will also work
    on Death. If you don't have any of those two, you should just avoid his
    two attacks (by jumping or ducking) and slash away at his bony ass.
    
    After he's taken down, head to the left and collect the Skula soul. This
    will allow you to walk underwater. Head to the room located on the left side
    from where you last saw Yoko. In this room the floor will break when you 
    step on it. Drop down with the Skula soul equipped and then head to the 
    left (watch out for the Devil). Now drop down and head right, in this
    room, jump on the big pendulums while avoiding the Medusa heads to make it
    to the other side and collect the Burtgang sword. Come out of this room
    and head left, make your way through the spike maze, by using your sliding
    ability. Once your out of the maze, head right then drop down and turn left
    to collect the suit. Return to where you last saw the Devil and head all
    the way to the right. Drop down and enter the bottom right, next head down
    then left, drop down again, then finally enter to the right. Use the warp
    to head back to the Castle Corridor and  head to the Underground Reservoir
    (the place where you found the Tasty Meat), there you will find an opening
    that will lead you down. Once there, use Skula to dive down. 
    ******************************************************************************

    Underground Reservoir
    ---------------------
    
    Drop down and head to the left. Take down that Man-Eater and enter the room
    to the left. Collect the Sword and head outside, head to the right, you're
    gonna have to swim up to reach the room on the right. Once you're there,
    drop all the way down to another area. Collect the Mana Prism and get back
    up and head to the right will avoiding any enemy attack. Keep heading right
    until you're in an area where you can drop down (take note, that there's 
    a warp point in the upper left corner). Get on one of those platforms that
    go up and down and head to the upper right corner to enter a new area. 
    Keep heading right until you see a waterfall. Use the Manticore soul to 
    get through. Head all the way to the right and avoid the Mudman. Once you
    reach a dead end, drop down. Head to the pirate ship and use skula to go 
    underwater, head to the left and break a wall to reveal a hidden room with
    the strongest weapon in the game. Head back to the area outside the warp 
    point (the one with the up and down platforms), and head to the lower left
    corner to enter another room. Keep heading left, when you reach the next 
    area, jump to the other side and enter the room. After watching that sad
    scene with Yoko, head back out  then drop all the way down and break the 
    wall to the left. Once you got the Pudding, head to the right. Defeat the
    Flame Demon (a red colored Devil) to Receive its soul (Don't leave without
    his soul, it's very important). Once you have it, enter the room to the 
    right and keep going. When you reach the next area, climb up and head left
    to collect $2000. Return back outside, then head to the right to save. 
    Come back out to drop down and continue heading right till you see a blue
    colored door.

    Boss: Legion
    HP: 5000

    This boss is pretty easy. It'll start to come after you slowly, but all you
    need to do is slash and back away. When he gets too close, either use one of
    the platforms to go over him or use the Manticore soul and rush into him.
    Repeat the steps until he reveals his core. Watch out for the tentacles
    that shoot lasers. Just slash away while avoiding his attacks. A very 
    important note: If you want Legion's soul. You have to destroy his outer
    shell first and leave the core for last.
    
    When you're done, head all the way to the right to gain a new ability. Now
    return to where we last saw Yoko. when you arrive, head left till you reach 
    a new area.

    ---------
    The Arena
    ---------
    
    Welcome to the Arena! Two men enter, one man leaves! This area is pretty
    straight forward. Just head right (beware of the Beam Skeleton), then
    climb up to the next room. To the right there's a warp point, I want you
    to head all the way to the left till you see an opening below you, drop
    down and enter the room to the left to save. Come out and head to the right.
    In here there are three rooms to the right, that contain an item or weapon
    and the boss room is the one on the bottom left. Below I have written what
    you must do for each room. 
    
    For the first room, use Manticore to reach the other side, then attack the
    wrecking ball, so you can break the wall and collect the Olrox's suit.
    
    For the second, head all the way to the right while avoiding the spikes and
    the Medusa Heads. And don't forget to step on the switch. If you make it to
    the other side, you'll receive a sword. 
    
    For the final one, get on the platform, then look at the wall and follow 
    the directions with D-Pad. You'll get the Rune Ring. 
    
    Once you're done, go back and save. Then return to enter the door on
    the bottom left to fight the boss.

    Boss: Balore

    After watching the funny scene, equip the Death soul and turn it on.
    Slash at the eye while avoiding his attacks. Half way through the battle,
    he'll change his attack to eye beam. Simply jump over the attacks and
    slash away at the eye. 
    
    When the fight is over, head to the left to collect the Giant Bat soul, 
    return back outside to talk with J. Now that you have the Giant Bat soul,
    go to the waterfall in the Underground Reservoir and use the soul to fly
    up and enter the room above to grab the gun.

    ----------
    Side Quest
    ----------
    
    Head to the Castle Corridor and go to the area where you obtained the 
    Backdash ability and use the Skula soul to go underwater and head to the
    right to enter the door. In here you should turn into a bat, collect the 
    weapon above and then fly to the right to enter a new room. Take down the
    Flesh Golem and continue going right. Here you should turn to a bat and 
    fly to the entrance to the right. Continue going right till you see those 
    up and down platforms. You can get on one of them or turn into a bat to
    reach the area above. Here you should find the third ancient book.
    
    Now head to the room in the Inner Quarters, where you saw the Chronomage
    (the clock rabbit). Now that you have the ability Galamoth, he can't stop
    time. Kill him and then head to the left. Make your way through this room, 
    when you see the opening in the ceiling, climb up. Collect the sword and
    the final ancient book.

    Return to the area outside the save room in the Arena and head up. Next use
    the Giant Bat soul to fly up. Head to the left and enter the room to fight 
    a Succubus. Don't leave till you have her soul! Once you have it, go to the
    warp room and warp to the Inner Quarters. Once there, get out of the room,
    go left then drop down. Head all the way left till you reach the last level
    of the castle.

    Top Floor
    ---------
    
    When you see the opening above, turn into a bat and fly up. Climb up
    to enter a room with the Satan's Ring. Once you got it, head left then
    climb up. In the upper left ceiling there's a secret room, break it to
    open it and collect the weapon inside. Come out and head to the right.
    Keep going right, until you see and an opening above, head up. In this 
    area the are Succubus, if you didn't catch it's soul before, do it now.
    Now make your way up and then enter the area to the left. You'll 
    see a few Basilisk, beware of their gaze. Go left till you see a hole,
    drop down and head to your left and break the wall (Avoid the Iron Golem
    if you don't have the Killer Mantle soul). Collect the ability soul and
    return to where you saw the Basilisks. Using your new ability go to the 
    upper left corner and collect the Kaladbolg sword. Next turn to a bat and 
    fly up to the room above. Collect the Mana Prism then head down. Still 
    using the Bat soul, fly to the right. Now drop down and save your game.
    Head back up and enter the room in the upper left corner. When you climb 
    up the stairs, you'll be face to face with Graham. But before you fight
    him, equip these soul to get the true ending (Flame Demon, Giant Bat
    and Succubus).

    Boss: Graham

    Now that you have the required souls equipped, you will get the true
    ending. In his first form, Graham will do the familiar Dracula attacks
    (Shoots fireballs and disappear). To avoid these attacks either jump or
    duck. You can use one of the red souls, the gun or any long range weapon,
    but I suggest you use the Claimh Solais sword. Just be sure to duck near
    him while you attack him with the sword. Half way through the battle, 
    Graham will make the meteors move around him in a circle, just get very
    close to him and slash at him while ducking. After a few hits he'll change
    his form. This form like the previous only has two attacks. The first is
    blasting lighting from above, and the other is when you try to attack him
    in his weak spot (in the middle of his body), his hands will try to smack
    you. After a few slashes Graham will find out who's the true Dracula.
    Helpful Tip: Using Manticore, Devil or Curly's soul during Graham's second
    form will make the battle mmuch easier.
    
    After the kick ass revelation, go to the left room and collect Dracula's
    Tunic. Next head to the Floating Garden and go to the area where you fought
    the Kicker Skeleton. Head right then drop down. Enter the black mist door 
    to fight the next boss.

    Boss: Belmont

    Well, since you're now Dracula, you must fight a Belmont. I have no
    other tactic, other than to use the Manticore soul. Keep using it and
    slash at him till the battle is over.
    
    Once the battle is over, head to the door on the left and enter it. Next
    get on the platform and press up to be teleported to your final destination.

    Chaotic Realm
    -------------
    
    Welcome to the Chaotic Realm, first thing to do is save on the left. Next
    come out of the room and climb up. In this area there will be three rooms
    on the right and three rooms one the left. Go to the first two rooms on the
    left to collect some red potions, then enter the third room on the left. 
    This place is pretty linear, so there is no point of me telling you where 
    to go. Anyway, youíll know when you've reached your destination, you'll see
    a glowing green door. But before you enter it, head to the right to save.
    Once you're done saving, go on and head to the green door to do battle with
    the final boss.

    Boss: Chaos

    The true final boss, Soma's dark side aka Chaos. You can get two endings
    depending what happens to you in the battle. If you lose, Soma will become
    the evil Dracula, but we're not trying to lose are we?! In it's first form,
    the three Chaos statues will steal your soul orbs. But donít worry since
    you won't really need it. Just jump and slash all three statues, while
    avoiding it's attack. After you defeat it, Chaos will go into its final
    form. In this form Chaos attacks with energy balls, just be sure to avoid
    it and the giant snake that flies around the room, just concentrate on
    hitting the solar eclipse. It's a good idea to have a huge supply of
    healing materials before you fight Chaos.
    
    Congratulation, you beat the game! Now try to beat it with Julius Belmont
    or in Hard mode to test your skills.

    Soul Orbs
    *********
    
    One thing Castlevania is good at and that's creating new ideas. Soul Orbs
    are a new, cool addition to the series. In the game when you defeat an
    enemy there is a chance that you can acquire it's soul. With a soul you can
    use it for magic or sub weapons, guardians, stats and ability. There are
    four different kinds of soul and I'll we explain each one. The red souls
    are used for Magic or sub weapon attacks. When equipped with a red soul you
    can use the special attack the enemy had (kinda like Megaman). Blue Souls
    are used for or should I say become a guardian. By equipping and using
    the Blue soul, you can have abilities from certain monsters or become a
    monster yourself. The green souls are different, since they just affect
    your stats or add an ability you can only have while equipped. The gray
    souls are actually needed to beat the game, they are found in stands that
    must be broken to acquire. All the souls except the gray ones, must be
    equipped to be used and consumes MP. below I written a list of Souls, their
    ability, the amount of MP it uses and for some the location of the soul.

    Secrets

    Here are a few secrets you can use to make the game more fun than it
    already is.
    
    1. Go and start a new game file and type in the word "NOSOUL". This will
    result in not using any souls for the entire game.
    
    2. Go and start a new game file and type in the word "NOUSE". This will
    result in not using any items for the entire game.
    
    3. After beating the game with the best ending, enter the name "JULIUS"
    in a new game file. You'll now be able to play as Julius Belmont. 
    
    4. After you beaten the game once, you can start a new one in hard mode.
    
    5. After beating the game once, you can use the old file to start a new
    game. You'll also have all the items and souls you've collected.

    Endings
    *******
    
    There are three endings in AOS, when you play the game with Soma. Below 
    I written what one must do to get the endings.
    
    Before fighting Graham, equip the Flame Demon, Succubus and Giant Bat
    souls. After you defeat him, You'll able to enter the black mist door
    and will fight two more bosses. Beat both to receive the best ending.
    Unlocks Sound Mode and Boss Rush Mode. 
    
    Before fighting Graham, equip the Flame Demon, Succubus and Giant Bat
    souls. After you defeat him, You'll able to enter the black mist door
    and will fight two more bosses. Beat the first one, but lose to the
    second, you should then get the good ending. Unlocks Boss Rush Mode.
