Hi, I'm grass master and this is the first FAQ I've ever made. I've played 
lots of Castlevania games like SotN and HoD, but I think they really made a 
good job for this one, because its a GBA game and it looks almost like PSX. 
Well, I hope you find my FAQ helpful.

The year is 2035. Japan. Crowds of spectators are gathering around in 
anticipation of the first full solar eclipse of the twenty-first century. 

My name is Soma Cruz, and I am a high school exchange student abroad in Japan. 

I live near the Haruka Shrine, an ancient shrine with strong ties to Japanese 
Mythology. 

Mina Haruba, the only daughter of the shrine's caretaker, is both my classmate 
and my childhood friend. I started making my way to the shrine to see the solar 
eclipse with Mina. But, for some strange reson, the stairway leading up to the 
shrine felt longer than usual, as if something was trying to keep us from our 
destination. 

When I finally managed to get through the shrine gate and my senses began to 
dim... 

The pitch black sun is holding chaotic darkness togheter, trying to rouse a 
sleeping soul as if looking for missing other half...

huh?)
Genya Arikado: Skip the introductions. I have a few questions, and I need 
answers now.
Soma Cruz: Go... Go ahead...
Genya Arikado: Why have you come here?
Soma Cruz: Why? Well, Mina and I... Hang on, where are we?
Genya Arikado: We're in Dracula's Castle.
Soma Cruz: Huh? Dracula's Castle? Are you telling me we are in Europe?
Genya Arikado: No. We are inside the solar eclipse.
Soma Cruz: Inside the eclipse?! You're insane! Do you think I'm a fool?!
Mina Hakuba: Soma! Listen to him, he's telling you the truth!
Soma Cruz: What the heck are you talking about? Give me an explanation!

Genya Arikado: Well, it's like this... Huh?! An enemy! (some monsters appear 
and take Mina down, then Genya uses magic and takes the 'em down)
Genya Arikado: Damn! Protect the girl! (one monster flies around Soma)
Soma Cruz: Yaaaaaaaah! Go back to where you came from! (Soma slashes the 
monster and its soul gets inside his body)
Soma Cruz: Wha... what was that thing?
Genya Arikado: So it has awakened.
Soma Cruz: What? What has?
Genya Arikado: The spirit of the creature you killed has just entered your 
body. You have the power to absorb the abilites of the monsters you kill.
Soma Cruz: Wh... why... why would I have that power...?

Genya Arikado: You have gained the power. Now you must go to the Master's 
chamber.
Soma Cruz: For what reason?
Genya Arikado: Do you not wish to return with your friend to your own world?
Soma Cruz: Of course I want to go back.
Genya Arikado: Go to the Master's chamber. Then, you will understand 
everything.
Soma Cruz: But I can't just leave Mina here like this.
Genya Arikado: No need to worry about her. I'll put up a protective barrier. 
But death will most certainly find those who stay here too long.
Soma Cruz: The... then I...
Genya Arikado: Yes. Only you can save her from a painful death.
Soma Cruz: And you, what will you do?
Genya Arikado: I, too, have things I must do within these castle walls. Go. Set 
forth! Both your own life and hers are at stake.

YAY, phew, this thing is over. Go to the right and enter the...

Head to the right kiling some zombies in your way, then you'll find a big room 
(just like SotN!). Whatever, pick up the Short Sword and equip it, then go down 
and fight some Mermen to level up quickly. Break that glowing thingy to get the 
Grave Keeper abilitly (press L, a simple backdash just like Alucard's). Enter 
the red door to your left to go to the Underground Reservoir.

Go down, beware of the Tiny Devil and the Bats. Grab the Pendant, go right 
swimming pass the Killer Fishes and grab the Tasty Meat. Go back to the Castle 
Corridor.

Go to the right, pass the Mermen, go right and save your game and recover your 
HP and MP. Climp up to get a Cape, equip it if you want defence or keep the 
pendant if you want luck. Enter the top right door, kill the Skeletons and the 
Axe Armor in the next room, and enter the door on the right, and prepare to 
fight the first boss!

Bleh, this is so easy to be called boss fight, but whatever. Equip your Winged 
Skull soul and start throwing spears like crazy until you run out of MP, then 
slash him a few times and he's dead XD. So easy...

After that shameful boss fight, go right and grab the CASTLE MAP 1, then go 
down and hit the wall on the left to find a secret room, and get a Mind Up. 
Exit the room and go to the right.

On this next room, go right untill you find a glowing... erm... thingy (can 
someone tell me what is it?). Break it and get the Flying Armor. Now go back to
the place where you found the castle map, go to the right to save your game, 
and return to the doors of the castle and press up to talk to Mina again...

Soma Cruz: Mina! are you doing OK?
Mina Hakuba: Yes, I'm fine. It seems like the monsters can't get inside here 
anymore.
Soma Cruz: Arikado said he'd put up a protective barrier... And while we're on 
the subject... just who is Arikado?
Mina Hakuba: I'm not sure. I heard he does something related to national 
intelligence.
Soma Cruz: National intelligence? Sounds like he's a spy
Mina Hakuba: He's been coming to the shrine for many years. He's an unusual 
man.
Soma Cruz: What makes him so unusual?
Mina Hakuba: The face of a normal person changes as the years pass, right?
Soma Cruz: Yes, people change as they grow older.
Mina Hakuba: In the ten years I've known him, he hasn't changed at all.
Soma Cruz: Are you sure it's not just your imagination?
Mina Hakuba: It could be but... His face is just too beautiful. He's almost 
perfect. Don't you agree?
Soma Cruz: So you're saying that he's your type right?
Mina Hakuba: What are you talking about! I like guys who are.......... That's 
none of your business, OK?!
Soma Cruz: It was just a joke. Why are you taking things so seriously?
Mina Hakuba: F-forget it... Don't you think it would be better if you stayed 
here, too?
Soma Cruz: No. In order to get us out of here, there's something I've been told
I must do. Aside from that, I've discovered that I, too, have magical powers. 
(Maybe it's best I don't mention the danger of staying here too long...)
Mina Hakuba: I understand... But please be careful.
Soma Cruz: I will. Mina...?
Mina Hakuba: Yes?
Soma Cruz: Do you trust me?
Mina Hakuba: Of course I do! I know that you would never lie to me.
Soma Cruz: If that's true, then please wait here. I promise I'll get you back 
home.
Mina Hakuba: OK, don't worry about me. I can wait as long as you need me to.
Soma Cruz: Alright, I'll be back.
Mina Hakuba: Don't get yourself hurt, OK?
Soma Cruz: OK.

Exit the room and enter again, then talk to Mina again...

Mina Hakuba: Welcome back, I have a message for you from Arikado.
Soma Cruz: From Arikado?
Mina Hakuba: Yes, it's ah... When the speed at which you fall slows, you'll be 
able to jump farther. Try imagining that you're gliding through the air...
Soma Cruz: I see...
Mina Hakuba: Come back again later, maybe I'll have another message from 
Arikado.
Soma Cruz: I'll check you whenever I can.

Hah! now, go to the Soul Set menu and swith to the blue orb, and select Flying 
Armor. Then go to the cross room where you found the Castle Map 1 and go up. 
Go to the right killing the White Dragon and jump to the stairs and grab the 
potion, then jump back. keep going right and jump to grab the Leather Plate 
(equip it). Keep going right until you reach a Save point and save your game. 
Go out and go down (ignore the Sword for now) and you'll have 2 choices, go 
left. You'll be on some kind of prison like place... go down and enter the door
to the right to get a Potion, then go left pass the Mermen and jump over the 
platforms until you reach a room with $500. Go outside and go right this time,
and you'll find a human!

Soma Cruz: Uh, h-helli. Y-You're human, aren't you?
Graham Jones: Relax. My name is Graham. Let's just say... I'm a missionary
Soma Cruz: Oh... I'm... Soma, Soma Cruz.
Graham Jones: You weren't here in this shrine before, were you? How did you get 
here?
Soma Cruz: I'm not sure. I went through the shrine gate... and BOOM I was here.
Graham Jones: I see...
Soma Cruz: Uh, can I ask you a question?
Graham Jones: Go ahead, I don't mind.
Soma Cruz: Is it true that this is Dracula's castle?
Graham Jones: It most certainly is.
Soma Cruz: But, isn't Dracula's castle in Europe somewhere?
Graham Jones: In theory, yes. But his TRUE castle exists somewhere else.
Soma Cruz: His true castle?
Graham Jones: It's a well known fact in the underworld. Do you believe in 
vampires?
Soma Cruz: Well, uh, no. I thought the story of Dracula was made up, actually.
Graham Jones: No, it's all true. It was leaked to the outside world. Usually, 
the church handles this things with utmost secrecy... Over the course of time, 
Dracula has resurrected many times... when people lost faith... and craved 
chaos and destruction...
Soma Cruz: So... are you trying to tell me now that Dracula has been 
resurrected? Graham Jones: No. Dracula perished in 1999. You know of the 
prophecy of 1999, don't you?
Soma Cruz: Nostradamus' great prophecy...?
Graham Jones: That's right. Dracula was resurrected exactly as he predicted. 
But vampire hunters destroyed him completely. They ended his regeneration cycle
by sealing his castle, the symbol of his demonic power, inside the darkness of 
an eclipse.
Soma Cruz: And that eclipse is where we are now...?
Graham Jones: Yes, but there's still more to the story...
Soma Cruz: There's more?
Graham Jones: "In the year 2035, a new master will come to the castle, and he 
will inherit ALL of Dracula's powers."
Soma Cruz: But that's...!
Graham Jones: Yes. That time is now! I better get going... Is that all, then?
Soma Cruz: Oh, yes. Thank you.
Graham Jones: Farewell and be careful.
Soma Cruz: Yes, you too.

PHEW! Writting this conversations is annoying man! Whatever, go to the right 
and enter the red glowing door to reach the Chapel

Go right and go up the ladder, then go right and start climbing until you see 
a big blue bell. From that poing go right and jump the little green bells 
(tricky jump... be careful). Continue going up until you have to choices and go
up to get a Mind Up, then go left and drop when you see a hole (don't move to 
the right or you'll fall!). When you are on the second bell, jump right as far 
as you can, and drop to the left, go up to get a Bamboo Sword (not so strong 
but has a nice wide attack), go back and go to the right to fight the Bone 
Pillars and drop.

Go downstairs and right to the next room and you'll see a big scary creepy 
burning Giant Ghost (O.o). Kill it and you may get his soul, which is very good
(creates a barrier around you). Once you kill it jump on the platforms until 
you reach a green stairway, press down + A to drop down. Jump to the platform 
on the right, grab the coin and jump to the top green stairway.

On the next room go left and climb to the top (beware of the Durga), go right 
and drop to get a Rapier and go back to the other room. Go right and down to 
reach another room, go left for a Save Point and save your game. Exit the room 
and drop down, go left (damn Rock Armors) and enter the door to fight
Manticore.

Recommended Level: 5-7

Weee, another easy fight, but this is harder than the last one. If you have the
zombie soul, you are lucky. Equip it and let Manticore poison you with his 
scorpion tail and strike Manticore with everything you got! I don't what Soul 
attack will the the best against him, but I used the Winged Skull soul and 
killed him in 20 seconds :)

When you kill it go to the left right exit and get the Silk Robe (equip it of 
course) then go back and go to the left. Uh, Fleamen, i hate 'em! KK, go left 
killing those tiny and ugly Fleamen and the Rock Armor, go down, and enter the 
glowing red door.

First of, go down, and then left to get an Uncurse Potion, then go right. Don't
even bother trying to move the box here, because you won't be able to reach the
top yet. Instead, go down and all the way left (fighting some more Fleamen...).
Beware of the Ectoplasm because they will curse you if you touch them. On the 
next room, go up (beware of the Catoblepas' breath because it will turn you to 
stone) and break the top left wall to reveal a hidden room, and get the Melon 
inside.

Go back and then go down. Go to the left for a SP and save. Go to the right and
you'll find a gorgeous lady....

???: Hey, you're... Soma, aren't you? You must be him.
Soma Cruz: Y-yes, but... Who are you...?
Yoko Belnades: Oh, forgive me. I'm Yoko Belnades. I'm a member of the church.
Soma Cruz: How would a member of the church recognize me?
Yoko Belnades: You've met Aluca... um, I mean, Genya... Arikado, right?
Soma Cruz: I did meet him, but...
Yoko Belnades: He told me about you, and he asked me to help you if you were 
in trouble.
Soma Cruz: Arikado said that? That's hard to believe.
Yoko Belnades: Well, he may seem cold at first, but he's actually quite a 
decent guy. 
He may be looking out for you because you share the same dark powers.
Soma Cruz: Wait, wait! Did you say my powers are "dark"?
Yoko Belnades: Oh, you mean you didn't know that!?
Soma Cruz: Uhh...
Yoko Belnades: Oh, no... did I say something...I...well... what's said is said.
Essentially, you have the power to rule over and command monsters.
Soma Cruz: Rule over monsters? I have no desire to do that...
Yoko Belnades: It comes naturally as breathing for you, so you may not realize
it yet. And though I called it a "dark power," that doesn't mean it's evil. 
It's like a weapon, Its user decides to whether to use it for good or evil.
Soma Cruz: Well, when you put it that way, I feel a little bit better. Since I 
got this power, I've begun to lose my sense of self.
Yoko Belnades: You are yourself. There's no one else you could be. Don't second
guess yourself. Be confident. That's most important.
Soma Cruz: I think I understand now. Thanks, Yoko.
Yoko Belnades: (giggle) I'm not used to being thanked by people... Oh, I forgot
to ask you. Have you seen a man named Graham?
Soma Cruz: Graham? Yes, I met him earlier.
Yoko Belnades: Be wary of that man. I believe that he will inherit Dracula's 
powers.
Soma Cruz: No way! He did not look like a bad guy.
Yoko Belnades: Right, and I've got a bridge to sell you! Don't be fooled by his
appearance! He's not who you think he is.
Soma Cruz: Al...alright.
Yoko Belnades: Well, I must be going. I've got to find Graham! See you around!

Go to the right, and fight those strong monsters... on the next room, go right
to get $100, go back and drop to the right.

To enter that devil face, use your backdash ability. Follow the way and get the
Whip Sword, equip it and return to the room with the spike. This time, drop to 
the left and prepare to fight!

OMG, looks like they didn't had good ideas to make hard monsters >:S
Equip the Whip Sword and start atacking like crazy. If you use another weapon 
you won't reach its weak part. Whatever, be careful with his sword attacks, 
they are easy to evade but deal a lot of damage.

Get out of there and you'll find a hairless guy XD (sounds funnier than 
bald...)

Hammer: There're weapons all over this castle and no monsters at the front 
gate. Good place for a shop! Come on by! I'll give you a good deal. See ya

Soma Cruz: A shop, huh? I don't get it...

Whatever, he's a bit weird. Break the 'thingy' to get your 2nd ability, Malphas.
It will allow you to jump again in mid-air, so a lot of new places will be open
for you!

Return to the room with the wooden box and push it to the left 'till it drops, 
then push it to the right. Jump over the box and use your double jump to get a 
Broadsword. Exit the room and enter again, the box will be up again. Move it to
the right, jump over it, go to the left and get the heart pendant.

Return to the studio entrance (sorry I missed this part before :P) and go to 
the right, then drop down and go left to pick up a Bastard Sword, then go right
and climb the right platforms to get the Hammer (it's a powerful but slow 
weapon...)

Back in the chapel, equip your Flying Armor soul, and double jump and glide to
the top left corner. Climb to the top, and go to the right, beating all those 
monsters. You'll see a white dragon above you, kill it and go upstairs. Beware 
of the Ghost Dancers, kill them before they vanish. Go to the middle left 
Entrance to get an Anti-Venom. The enter the top left entrance and use the Warp
Point... err... to warp.

the Zombie Officer and climb to the top, kill the Killer Doll if you want, go

and press down + A to drop down. Go outside the castle and you'll see Hammer 
selling stuff...

find a Lucky Charm, then drop again.

Go inside the castle and keep going right until you reach the room with the Axe
Lord. The go up and use the Flying Armor and Malphas ability to get to the top 
and enter the glowing red door.

involved...?
J: I fear you are correct... Especially since I have magical powers...

J: Well, you might say that. But I work for no one but myself. I must be going

After chit-chatting, go left and then go to the top. You'll see some 
platforms, jump on them, go to the right to reach a SP. Go to the left all the
way, until you reach a room with only 1 Minotaur, defeat it and slash the left 
wall to reveal a secret passage. Grab the Samurai Armor, return and jump on the
platform using double jump. Keep going right and go up when you see a 
platform, then go to the right and kill the monsters to get $100, then go left
and jump over the monster's back, go up and when you find the Bone Pillar make 
sure you leave at least 1 or you won't be able to get the mana prism up there. 
Once you get it, go down and then go to the left to get another $100. Return to
the SP.

Leave the SP room and drop, then go left and you'll be in a... errm... Dance 
Hall. Enter the top left door then continue left to a room with 2 white 
dragons. Go left and then down to fight a Nemesis, go right to find the 3rd 
warp... activate it and go back to the dance hall. Drop in the hole on the 
left, go to the right killing the Zombie Officer, the Creaking Skull and the 
Wooden Golem, go to the right, then down and then go to the left. Beat the 2 
Minotaurs and grab $500. Go back 2 rooms left of the room with the Wooden 
Golem, go down and you'll be in a slaughterhouse X(... Go right and then down 
then right again for a SP, then left for a boss fight

YAY! this is what i was talking about! I recommend to be around level 15 or 
you'll die very fast... well, equip your Whip Sword and Ghost, Winged Skeleton,
Axe Armor or Tiny Devil soul to make your fight easier (the Ghost is the best 
for me because it can hit the Big Golem more than 2 times). Start the fight by 
using the soul you selected until you don't have MP. If you have the Ghost soul
jump and press Up + B in the air. If done correctly you will hit him 3-4 times.
Then attack with the whip sword trying to avoid the arm. When he ducks he will 
start to vomit rocks, so get out of the attack range, then start attacking 
again. If you are low on HP use a Tasty Meat or Potions. When the golem pushes 
you to the right he will start going back for your advantage.

Go left and break the thingy to get the Skeleton Blaze (now you can get the 
Ancient Book 1, it was passing a narrow path in the Studio. Get it when you
can). Return to the dance hall and grab the Cutall using the Skeleton Blaze. 
Take the right exit. Go up and then right, dash when the path is narrow, beat 
the Minotaurs and enter the...

Go up and try to get the High Mind Up using the double jump and Flying Armor 
(is kinda hard to get). Go right and then up. You'll see 2 exits: left and 
right. Go to the left if you want to see a a little bunny with a clock 
teleporting you out of the room... (don't try to kill him because you CAN'T no 
matter what soul you use...) and right to fight a Persephone :S... go up and 
take the left exit for a SP, save and go right... prepare to fight!

Hehe, this monsters seems easy doesn't? IT'S NOT! First of all, equip the Whip 
Sword and attack her, don't let her stab you because you'll get kinda trapped. 
When her head drops, a grandma head will float and get attached to her body... 
(creepy huh?). On grandma form she floats around the room using magic. When you
see fireballs around her, two fire dragon heads will move down in a zigzag 
pattern and then dissapear on the bottom of the screen. When you see sparks 
around her she'll attack with 3 thunders, so try to get between them. When she
loses her head again a dragon head will float and attach to her body (O.O). 
This form is the toughest... she moves around the room and jumps to the 
ceeling, and sometimes she attacks you with her tongue or breaths a poison 
cloud. Try using Souls like Skeleton or Fleaman to attack her, but the Tiny 
Devil soul works best if you have it... When she falls near you she'll atack 
you with her tongue, so duck and slash her. When she's low on HP she'll use the
poison breath more.

Continue right and go up. Make your way up until you see lots of hanging 
skeletons.....BOO! (LOL) go left to get the Hrunting (looks very cool!) and 
then go right to get the Undine soul.

Go all the way down to the big room with stairs and go down, then right and 
'step' on the water to go up. Go right then down, enter the door on the left 
and go left to finda Warp Point.

Go back and drop on the hole, go a bit right down the stairs and drop in the 
hole. Goleft to go below the stairs, go right and grab the Mind Up. 

Now that you have lots of new abilities, let's fill some map and get some 
items... you can skip this section of the Walkthrough if you want...

-Go up and the drop on the hole to the left. Enter the red glowing door to go 
 to the  Castle Corridorand, then drop down. You'll be in a big room with 
 stairs. Go right  until you reach another big room with stairs right until 
 you reach another big room. Go right, jump to the left, (you'll see an armor 
 above  you but you can't reach it yet) go right and jump to the door at the 
 top. Stand on the Catoblepas and get the Copper Armor. Go out of that room 
 and go down. Enter the room at the right to get a Scarf.

-From the castle entrance go right then down, enter the red door on the left 
 to go to the Underground Reservoir. Equip the Undine soul and walk over the 
 water until you  see a hole on the top, double jump and go left to get the 
 Elfin Robe.

Go back to the Castle Corridor via Warp.

Go right and drop down. Go right until you reach the cross room where you 
found the Castle Map 1 and go down, then right. Walk to the right until you 
see a hole on theceeling, jump to reach it. Go up and then enter the red 
glowing door to go to the Floating Garden.

Go right and laugh at the weird look of the Cockatrice (HAHAHAHAHA!!!). Keep 
going right until you reach a SP. Go back and step on the platform on the same
room and jump to the next room. There, wait for the Gorgon to go left and jump
over it, and then double jump to the left (hard jump). Drop on the hole to get
the Castle Map 3 (woohoo!). Go left and jump on the platform to go up, then
jump on the other platform to go up and then go right. Double jump the big
hole and continue right.

On this room you'll find a Devil. It's soul is very good so try to get it.
Continue right until you see some Altair (eagles) carrying some Ripper (like 
Fleaman). Press Down + A to drop in the hole and go left for a SP. Go right to
fight a Kicker Skeleton, try to get its soul because is a Grey Soul that will
help a lot. Drop down and see a Black door... go back to the room with the
Mandragora and go up. You'll find two bags of $1000 there... Well enough
exploring for today.

Go back to the Floating Garden entrance and take the first platform you see,
then keep taking the platforms until you can go to the left. Keep going left
(don't forget the money bags at the top of each room) until you reach the
Clock Tower.

Go left and then up, enter the door on the right (etc...). If you want, try to
get the $2000 money bag, but its very dangerous to do so... go up and then 
left. In this room, I suggest to get the Lightning Doll soul because it is 
hella' helpful fighting dead... whatever jump on the wooden platforms and then
go right, then up. You'll see a Light Blue door... enter to fight Death, but 
save first at the right...

OMG! this guy is hard hard! the first phase is kinda easy, take your time to get
used to his attacks. He'll use this attacks: Throw smalls sickles at you, throw
his big sickle and use blast attacks that come from the ceeling. When you see
his hand charging power... RUN!!! He'll throw 4-5 beams at you so keep running.
Try to not get stuck on the sides... Attack the big sickle to damage him.

When you destroy his sickle, he will be no longer transparent, so you can hit
him directly but... he will take out a double sickle... He uses this attacks:
Dash and slash you, throw his sickle around the room, and use his sickle like
a boomerang... This phase is harder that the last one, so be prepared! If you
get low on HP or MP use Potions or Mind Ups. When he throws his sickle like a
boomerang, duck and attack. When he throws his sickle around the room, jump
over the sickle to the center of the room, through Death's body (don't worry,
jumping though him won't hurt you). When he dashed and slashes, just duck or
jump over him.

TIP: If you have the Lightning Doll soul, get near the sickle/Death's body and
press Up + B. This will hit 2-3 times and cause about 120 damage for each hit.

Once you kill him, go right and break the thingy to get the Skula soul. Equip
it and go back to the room with water and a crackable in the center. Step on 
the crackable floor to break it and walk while underwater ^-^. Go to the left
and drop down, go to the left room and walk acroos the little maze. Slide when
there are spikes on top of the path. Exit the room and drop down, then go left
to get the Pitch Black Suit. Go back to the room before the spike maze and go
right. You'll end in a room with big pendulums and spiked floor. Jump over the
pendulums to reach a Burtgang and go back to the room with the spikes. This 
time go right and then drop down. Make your way until you have 2 choices. Go
left, enter the door, go left but DON'T DROP! go back and use the WP and warp
to the Castle Corridor. Once there go to the Underground Reservoir

other edge. Drop down, kill the Triton and the Fish Head and grab the Super
Potion. Jump and go right, until you reach a room full of Needles. Go right,
go all the way down and you'll see 2 exits, go right for a SV and then left. 
Beat the Big Golem (good to gain quick EXP.) and go left. Go all the way down 
and go to the left. Kill the Nightmares and Ume and drop down on the next
room, then dash to get a Mana Prism. Go back to the room with the Mermen and
go right this time. Drop down and go left all the way. Jump to get to the
other edge and enter. You'll see Graham stabbing Yoko with a knife...

Pah, this boss isn't that hard if you get used to his moves, he only hurt me
70 HP. Move clock wise or anti clock wise as you attack him. As you attack him 
he will drop bodies, beware of 'em. After a bit fighting some parts will start
falling, and soon you will leave just the nucleus and 3 tentacles. Beware: the 
tentacles will fire lasers, and the nucleus sometimes will jump around the 
screen. Hit him until he is dead...

Another strategy thanks to Green Jedi:

 If you stand on the highest platform (on either side) right next to the big
 square, the Legion will hover above you but won't be able to chase you. You
 can then hack away at the two bottom pieces until they fall off. Now you can 
 see the core peeking out from under the top shell, and you can attack it at
 will until it dies. It'll just continue hovering above you and will
 occasionally fire off a laser, but as long as you stay in that one spot, it
 won't be able to chase you.

Go back and jump over the platforms and then go left to get a High Mind Up (I
think... e-mail me if I'm wrong). Go back down, and then all the way right to
get the Galamoth soul. Go back to the room with the platforms and go up, then
go left to get a High Potion. Go right to get a Gold Ring. Go back to the room
Yoko was and go left to enter The Arena.

Go left, then go all the way up. Go right for a WP, activate it and go left 
and jump on the platforms to go up. Go up and go to the left in the path with
the torch, kill the monsters and go left to get the Laevatain. Return to the
room with the broken elevator and go up, then right and get the High Potion.
Go back and go all the way down, then all the way left, drop down and enter 
the door on the left for a SV, then go right.

Here, you will find an elevator and 3 rooms, these will lead to super items
and you may want to take them.

1st Room: Here you have to fight some Lubicants while evading those statues.
Then you have to hit the big ball to break the wall. The prize is Olrox's 
Suit.

2nd Room: You must pass through a place with lots of Medusa Head, spiked
floor and some enemies (how mean!). There's a switch in the spiked floor
and you must press it before going. The prize is Balmung

3rd Room: You have to step on the platform and some red dots will appear on
the column. You'll see the column looks like a D-Pad, and you must press the
D-pad in the same direction that the red dot is. If you miss the platform
will be destroyed and you'll have to fight with those mean Beam Skeletons
and start again... The prize is Rare Ring (good luck going back =^-^=)

Go down and enter the blue door to fight Balore.

Bleh, what's this!? When you enter the room, lots of bats will gather to form
the Giant Bat, but it will get squashed by Balore's big hand!!

Hit him in the eye while evading his punches (they deal a lot of damage!).
If you have the Lighting Doll soul, get close to the eye and use it, this will
deal a lot of damage. After a bit he'll take back his hands and open the other
eye. He will fire beams on the ground and then fire columns will appear
(reminds me of the final boss in Megaman Zero). Keep hitting him in the eye
until its dead.

Another strategy is to hover using the Medusa Head soul and attack the eye.
You won't receive any damage from the fire :D (thanks to DarkMoon)

little while ago. But when he saw my face, he turned and ran.

Julius Belmont: I did sense Dracula's powers at work within him but it's
difficult to believe that he's Dracula... rather I think... No, forget it.
It is nothing more than a hunch.

"Vampire Killer." In 1999, I sealed it in this castle to weaken his spirit and
magical powers.

Julius Belmont: Yes. And I know exactly where it is. I'll go and get it now.
Soma Cruz: Alright. Please be careful.
Julius Belmont: Pray that my hunch proves to be wrong. Farewell for now.

Go back to the room with the tiger head and go up in bat form. Go right to get
the Black Cloak. Go back and go all the way up, go right to get $1000. Go all
the way back to the WP.

Remember that room with the little bunny teleporting you back to the entrance
of the room? Well, go back there. When you are there, aproach to the bunny and
kill it! He won't be able to teleport you, hehe...

Go up to get the Dainslef and the Ancient Book 2 (if you didn't get the
Ancient Book 1, get it now! its on the Studio, its after a narrow path. The
3rd Ancient Book is in the Underground Reservoir. You need the Giant Bat soul)

Go up 2 squares, right 6 squares, down 4 squares and right until you reach
the Top Floor...

 NOTE: Now that you're very near to the end of the game, it would be good if
 you get Claimh Solais, one of the best weapons in the game. It's in the 
 Forbidden Area, in the room with the big ship. Go below the ship (with the 
 Skula soul) and break the left wall, and you'll see the powerful Claimh 
 Solais. If you don't know where is the Forbiden Area please see the FAQs
 section and DON'T MAIL ME.

Once there, transform into bat and keep going up until you reach a room with
skulls on the walls that light when you get near them. Go to the top of that
room and go to the left. Defeat the Cockatrice and drop in the hole. Go right
and beat the Iron Golem (if you have the Killer Mantle... and if not... feel
pain!) and break the right wall to get Hippogryph soul. Get out, transform into
a bat and go to the top left corner to get the Kaladbolg (I think...). Fly to
the right until you see a hole on the ceeling, enter and go left to get a Mana
Prism (I think...). Go down, fly to the right and enter the room. Go down 1
screen and then 1 to the right for a SP. Go back and go up until you see an
armor holding a pink sword (ala Star Wars!) and go right to get another Mana
Prism. Enter the room at your left...

ATTENTION!: There are 3 endings in the game, I' will tell you how to get each
ending:

1st ending (normal ending): Go to the left and prepare to fight Graham!

BOO! his weak spot is the head, so hit him whenever you can. Be careful with
his attacks because they deal about 100 HP!

When you hit him enough, he will teleport to the center and start releasin
lava spheres in circles; this is the easiest part, because there are places 
where you can stand without taking any damage. Once you hit him enough he'll
say:

Graham Jones: I can't believe it... I haven't lost yet... You still don't have
Dracula's power. I'll show you!

He will turn into a big beast. He'll attack you with his hand while a big ring
fires blue beams at you.

The best way to kill him is equip the Lightning Doll soul and hit the big skull
ring with it, until its destroyed. Then fell free to attack the head :>

When he dies... ITS TIME TO SEE THE NORMAL ENDING!

2nd ending (good ending): Get the Flame Demon, Giant Bat and Succubus souls 
before fighting Graham. Once you have them, equip them and fight him as normal,
and you will see this conversation:

Graham Jones: I can't believe it... How did YOU come to possess those powers?
Soma Cruz: What do you mean by "those powers"?
Graham Jones: I'm Dracula. And you're not the one!

Continue the fight and kill him as normal:

Genya Arikado: Your soul and Dracula's magical powers are one and the same.
No matter what we did, this day was destined to come. That being so, I decided
to awaken you somewhere I could use MY powers. 
Soma Cruz: Huh? What do you mean? I don't understand.
Genya Arikado: Because you are now one with him, an evil spirit must be
flowing into you.
Soma Cruz: Yes. It started not too long ago, and it's slowly filling me up...
I'm doing all that I can to keep from being consumed by it.
Genya Arikado: Once you have finished absorbing all of it, his powers will be
yours. You will then become the evil count... I do not want to let that
happen!
Soma Cruz: Neither do I!
Genya Arikado: I know. That is why I choose the dangerous route.
Soma Cruz: The dangerous route?
Genya Arikado: The evil in this spirit comes from those who seek chaos and
destruction. So we need to cut off the source of the chaos influencing the
spirit.

Genya Arikado: This castle is a product of Dracula's magic. It's a spiritual
world. My point is this... a stream of chaos exists whithin this castle as
well. There is a place where only you, Dracula, can go. That's where the chaos
is!
Soma Cruz: I'll go, I'm not afraid... but what do I do once I get there?
Genya Arikado: You'll have to stop it using your own strenght. You already
succeeded in reaching the throne. I'm sure you can do it.
Soma Cruz: If it will make me myself again, I'll do whatever it takes.
Genya Arikado: As long as my powers continue to affect this place, the flow of
the evil spirit into you will be slowed down. Go quicklY!
Soma Cruz: I'm going... I appreaciate your help...

GAH! THIS GUY IS HARD AS HELL! he's just Ritcher Belmont. He has lots of
moves and attacks, so do your best and don't take easy on him! No matter how
good you are, you will have to use Potions and Mind Ups.

The strategy I used it simple. I used the Flame Demon soul and evaded his
attacks while attacking from distance. Whenever I was low on MP or HP I used
Mana Prisms and Super Potions. Good luck!!!

Here is another strategy courtesy of Matthew Chikasuye:

 Use the Black Panther soul. Basically, activate it whenever he is just
 running, and try to time it so that you blitz right through him and end up
 behind him when he does his whip attack (and later on, his subweapon attacks),
 at which poing you can unleash on him for a few seconds. Also, can be used
 midway through the battle when Julius gathers power and tries to suck you in.
 Activate the Black Panther to run from it. Doing this, I manage to get by only
 using maybe a couple High Potions.

Once you beat him...

Soma Cruz: STOP! I'VE HAD ENOUGH!
Julius Belmont: Wh...why... Why won't you finish me off?
Soma Cruz: You took it easy on me. I could tell. The strenght of a Belmont...
No... the strenght of a vampire hunter is greater than this.

But there's more... I also sensed Soma's spirit. Ans that's more than enough
to stop me.

Wow, what the hell is this!? well, the first phase is composed of 3 statues 
that are attached to a wheel and take all your souls (!). The yellow one aims 
and drains your MP, the red one fires 3 diamonds and the blue one tackles you.
Hit the statues and after a while the monster changes... into an easier one!

This time, there are 4 eyes in the corners, a black sphere in the middle and 
a giant skeletal snake moving around the room. Believe it or not this phase is
easy as hell... just hit the black orb until it dies :D

Another strategy thanks to Green Jedi

 After going through this thing a few times, I noticed that if you kill the
 eyes on the sides, the core takes more damage. So before you go after the 
 core, kill off the 2 bottom eyes. Leave the top ones alone because they're
 kinda tough to get at and the core will take lots of damage with one 2 eyes
 gone anyway.

Ok, you beat the game, but don't think you've done everything... hehehe. There
are new modes to try out in the game, more items to get, powerful equipment to
pick up, etc...

This mode is quite boring... You play as Julius. Just enter JULIUS as your 
name when you start a new game. Julius has lots of cool moves, he can use sub-
weapons as well. You can't level up, but you become stronger by grabbing the
green orbs the bosses drop when you defeat them. This mode is very boring, it
doesn't even have a story... and you can't pick up items...

After you beat the game and create a new one the game will ask you for a mode,
Normal or Hard... Select Hard to play the hard mode. Not much difference here,
the game is slightly harder, and there are new items to pick up. Here is the
list (thanks to Genya Avacado. Tell me if I'm missing one or you know the
place you can find them...)

- Kaiser Knuckle
- Tear of Blood: Top Floor, on the top right corner of the room just before
  Graham.
- Death's Robe: Clock Tower, you need the Giant Bat soul to get it.
- Death's Sickle: Clock Tower, you need the Giant Bat soul to get it.
- Silver Gun: Next to the Balmung sword, in the 2nd challenge room.

Once you get the best ending, you'll get the Boss Rush mode in the Special
menu on the main screen. You have to beat 10 bosses in the shortest time
possible to get your rewards. The bosses and rewards are.

Bosses:

- Creaking Skull
- Manticore
- Great Armor
- Man-eater (he's not a boss?)
- Big Golem
- Head Hunter
- Death
- Legion
- Balore
- Graham

Rewards:

- less than 4 mins.: Valmanway
- 4-5 mins.: Positron Riffle
- 5-6 mins.: Excalibur

My strategy to beat this mode the faster possible, is have the Death's Robe,
the Claimh Solais and the Chaos Ring (important!). For the souls I recomend
the Lightning Doll or Red Minotaur, Black Panther and Headhunter or Lubicant
(if you like danger). Just keep using the Lighting Doll or Red Minotaur soul
to beat the bosses and the Black Panther soul to move faster. You won't run 
out of MP thanks to the Chaos Ring. Hopefuly you'll get the Valmanway in 
your first try.

A: Yes, the Whip Sword is almost like a whip and the Malphas soul allows you 
   to jump again in mid-air.

Q: Do you know where to download the ROM of the game?

Q: How do I heal?
A: Use Potions or go to a Save Point.

Q: What do "Ancient Books" do?
A: They tell you what souls equip to beat Graham (Flame Demon, Giant Bat and
   Succubus). If you beat Graham with those souls equiped you can enter the
   Black Mist Door and get another ending.

Q: What does the Tsuchinoko soul do?
A: It allows you to buy goods cheaper. 80% of the normal price to be precise.

Q: How do I go to the Forbidden Area?
A: The entrance is behind a waterfall behind the underground reservoir.

Q: And how do I go behind that waterfall?
A: Get the Undine and Curly (or Devil or Manticore) souls and equip them. 
   Stand below the entrance of the room and activate the Curly soul while 
   facing right. You should be on the other side of the waterfall.
