 Introduction
===============================================================================

Boktai: The Sun is in Your Hands is meant to be taken literally, at least the
part about the hands. The gamepak has a built in 'solar sensor' that detects UV
Rays. You control a boy named Django, on his quest for revenge for his slain
father. Along the way, you will meet Otenko, who is the spirit of the sun.
Together, you will have to overcome the darkness to save the world from dying.

 Characters

~ Django ~

The hero of Boktai. He comes to Istrakan in search for the Count, who slayed his
father. Along the way, he meets Master Otenko, who guides him throughout the
game. You later find out that he is the son of Ringo, and Mani, and the brother
to Sabata. He is also known as Solar Boy, or Solar Child.

~ Master Otenko ~

He is the spirit of the Sun. Your guide along the journey. He will give you
tips; tell you what to do next and basically guide you through the game.
Throughout the game, he can be called through Otenko Panels. There, he will give
you tips on puzzles, monsters, and other assorted tidbits.

~ Sabata ~

Sabata is the Hel's second in command. He is the one that is putting the Queen's
plan into work, gathering the Guardians and Immortals for her dastardly plan.
You later find out that he is the son of Ringo, and Mani, and the brother to
Django. Sometimes he is referred to has the Dark Child.

~ Mani ~

After the battle with the Count, you are pretty much on a quest to save Moon
Beauty. You found out that her real name is Mani, and that she is Django's
mother, as well as Sabata's, and the wife of Ringo.

~ Lita ~

Lita is the Solar Tree's keeper. She was kidnapped by Sabata and the Count in
order to sacrifice her to the Queen. After you save her from the Count, she
tells you of her involvement in the world, and how the Solar Tree was hurt by
Istrakan. She seems like a capable fighter, fighting her way out of the mansion
she was captive of. Also known as Earthly Maiden.

~ Ringo ~

Also known as the Vampire Hunter. He was slain by the Count. Somehow word and a
scarf reached his son Django and Django is out for blood. Ringo is also the
father of Sabata, and the husband of Mani.

~ Count of Groundsoaking Blood ~

He is known as the Vampire Lord. The leader of the Immortals, he raided San
Miguel and began the undeadening. He controls the element of Earth.

~ The Lifefreezing Silver Wolf, Snow Wolf Garmr ~

The guardian of Permafrost. The wolf controls water.

~ Iron Giant from Inferno, Iron Golem Muspell ~

The guardian of Firetop Mountain. It controls fire.

~ Carmilla Banshee the Deathbringer ~

The second Immortal. She controls wind.

~ Hel the Queen of Darkness ~

Hel is on a quest to break the cycle of life and death by making Earth into a
state in the middle of both of those. Neither dead, nor alive.

 Walkthrough A

This walkthrough is for the easy version. I am aware that certain puzzles are
changed throughout the game. Send me your normal 1, normal 2, and hard puzzle
answers so that I can make a better FAQ for everyone.

Also send me locations of chests and objects that can only been seen with the
see-all nuts.

After Otenko finishes his introduction and heads away, go northwest and grab the
chest for a red apple. Go back southeast and go northeast following the path
over the bridge.

Go northeast, and listen to what Otenko has to say. After his speech, continue
up the path northeast. Go through the next area.

At the gate of the castle, you will now have another speech by Otenko.
Afterwards, continue northeast, and getting the treasure to the north which
contains a green apple. Move on in the same direction. When you get to the
farthest northeast you can go, enter the red door.

Go through the corridor. Listen to what Otenko has to say at the Otenko Panel.
Continue through the corridor and exit through the door. Listen to what Otenko
has to say about the Solar Station from the Otenko Panel. After he is done, exit
through either of the doors.

Again, listen to what Otenko has to say at the Otenko Panel. Grab the green
treasure chest to the east to grab a Knight Solar Gun frame. After Otenko's
explanation, go up the stairs to the next area. At the top of the stairs, there
is a hidden chest between the two pillars. If you do not have a see-all nut,
just press the action button around there until you find it. It has a silver
coin inside. Next, check out the Otenko Panel. Afterwards, make your way around
the hole in the ground and through the corridor to a balcony outside the castle.

Check out the Otenko Panel and make your way to the entrance back inside the
castle. Grab the green treasure chest directly inside the entrance to receive a
life fruit. Make your way up the stairs. Make your way up the flights of stairs
and listen to another Otenko speech. Enter the Count's lair.

After entering, a flock of bats will swarm you. Destroy them with the Knight
frame. After you do that, Otenko will talk to you again. A treasure chest will
appear, inside being five speed nuts. Grab the coffin, and exit. A note of
caution: When you are dragging the coffins, they might start to shake. When this
happens, let go of the coffin or you will be hurt. Backtrack down the flight of
stairs and into the next room.

~ Escape ~

Make your way through the corridors and out onto the balcony. Continue back into
the castle. Make your way around the hole once again, and go down stairs.
Continue down the flight of stairs, and enter the next room. Enter the next room
to the southwest. Follow the corridor to the exit of the castle. Follow the path
southwest to the gate of the castle and exit. Follow the rock path and exit into
the forest. Bring the coffin to the Pile Driver. After Otenko tells you the
obvious, bring the coffin to the center of the Pile Driver.

Otenko will tell you how to start up the generators. Afterwards, do so. Otenko
will appear again to tell you to step onto the circle to the south and press the
A Button. Do so. Start up the Pile Driver and get ready for your first boss

~ Pile Driver: The Count of Groundsoaking Blood ~
This is pretty much just so you get used to killing the spirits in the coffin.
The Count does not attack you at all, so all you have to do is Spread shoot the
generators when the vampire starts to resist it. An easy way to boost the
generators when low is to stand right in the middle and whenever the coffins
start to lose power, turn and shoot.

Congrats! You have completed the Fog Castle. You receive a Fool Card.

After the cut scene and explanation of the Solar Gun, head northeast. Continue
following the path and enter Small Cave

After Otenko's speech, go into the next area. Follow the east wall and pick up
the red apple inside of the chest. Make your way to the northeast exit and
enter. Grab the empty gourd from the chest. Exit the room. Back in the previous
room, exit to the northwest. Climb the two flights of stairs and then descend
the next set. Follow the corridor to the exit. Walk through the next corridor
and exit this room.

There are three ways to go. Take the southeast exit. Walk through the corridor
and then open the green chest in the first room to the west to pick up a coin.
Continue northeast and exit. Enter back into the room through the southeast
entrance. Make your way to the next exit. Open the green chest for the Axel
Solar Gun frame. Backtrack all the way back to the room where you had three
directions to choose from. Go northwest this time.

Navigate the corridor until you come across two exits parallel to each other. Go
into the more south exit. Open the purple chest to grab the blue key. Backtrack
again to the room where you had three choices. This time, choose the northeast
path.

Follow the path until it forks into two directions. Take the northeast direction
and open the chest for a solar nut. Now go back to the fork and enter the blue
door using the key after listening to Otenko.

~ Trap! ~

After you walk in, the door will slam shut behind you. Otenko will tell you that
you are trapped. To break out of the room, you must kill all the bats. Take out
your Axel frame and start spinning until there are no more bats. Afterwards,
listen to Otenko and when he is done, a chest will appear. Grab it and exit the
dungeon.

Congrats! You have completed the Small Cave!

Continue walking northeast to the next dungeon.

Entering, you will notice that the teleport is already there. From now on, there
will be a teleport waiting for you at the beginning and ending of every mini
dungeon. Climb down the set of stairs, make your way past the teleport, and then
climb up the flight of stairs. In the next room, make your way to the northeast
exit. In this room, there are four exits. Make your way towards the most west
wall and
enter the exit on it. After Otenko talks to you about moving the wooden box,
move it northwest once. Open up the purple chest to grab the blue key. Exit the
room. Without going up or down any steps, make your way northeast and enter the
next most west exit. Open the green chest for a silver coin. Head back to the
previous room.

Now make your way to the exit on the southeast wall. Open the green chest inside
that contains a life fruit, and then exit. Go down the first set of stairs to
your northeast and open the chest up that has a red apple inside.

After that, go to the only remaining exit that you have not gone through.
Immediately head northeast and then southeast and go back into the previous
room. Open the chest for a red apple. Make your way back northwest into the room
you were just in. Continue heading northwest and use the blue key to enter the
blue door.

~ Trap! ~

In this trap, you must defeat a flying sword. It will do a number of attacks.
The first attack is simple. It will spin around and then will be outlined and
red and shoot towards you. Just keep moving when he stops spinning to avoid
this. Another attack is that he will spawn little swords that will come
spiraling towards you. To avoid this, shoot the little swords to deflect them
back. The next attack is where it will split into three different swords of the
same size. These swords will circle the middle sword and expand and contract
while trying to damage you. Just stay out of the way to avoid this.
After you defeat the sword, open the regular and the green chest for the Star I
Solar Gun lens.

Congrats! You have completed The Gate of the Dead.

Head up the path to a fork in the road. This walkthrough will take you through
both ways. If you are following this walkthrough, take the northwest path. If
you need help on Catacomb, see the next section after the Ancient Forest
section.

Walk northeast into the next room. Listen to Otenko's advice. This area has
three different exits. Make your way to the southeast exit. In that room, open
the chest to reveal a red apple. Go back into the previous room. Continue
heading north and open the chest for a solar nut. Move northwest and up the
hill. Read the sign. Since you do not have breaking power, make your way to the
final exit which is to your northwest. On the way there, go down a hill to open
a chest containing an empty gourd.

This next area has two different exits. Head northwest and take the first exit
to your northwest. Open the green chest for the Spear Solar Gun frame. Backtrack
into the previous area, and head northeast some more, entering the next area.
Head directly northwest and open the chest that has a red apple inside. Climb
the hill and open another chest to the northwest containing another red apple.
Climb another hill and head northwest to enter the next section.

Follow the northwest wall and take the path to the northwest exit. Open the
chest for a red apple. Move to the previous room and head northeast to the next
area. In this area, climb up some hills and open the chest revealing a red
apple. Continue northeast and then turn northwest to the next exit. Battle your
way northwest and enter the only exit, which has an Undead symbol flashing in
front of it.

~ Trap! ~

You must defeat all the Golems to continue. The best strategy is to shoot and
run. That way, when they roll towards you, you will not get hurt. The best frame
to use is the Knight frame.

After you defeat the Golems, make your way northeast. Open the chest. Continue
northeast to leave the dungeon.

Congrats! You have completed Ancient Forest.

Go back into the dungeon. Teleport to the beginning of the dungeon and exit.
Make your way to the fork in the road and head southeast into the Catacomb.

From the entrance, go northeast and exit to the next room. Go up the southeast
corridor until you reach a chest. Open it for an empty gourd. Backtrack down the
corridor and then head northwest. Turn northeast and exit the room. Climb up the
stairs and then climb down the stairs. Open the chest for a solar nut. Climb
down the set of stairs to the southeast. Head northeast up the big flight of
stairs and then northwest up another flight. Continue on the same level and open
the chest to the north to receive a red apple. Backtrack to the stairs, head up
them and then exit the room.

In this next room, there are three exits. Ignore the one directly to the
northwest, and head up the stairs. After the second flight of stairs, go into
the northwest exit. In the next room, go up two flights of stairs and open the
green chest for a Beatmania Solar Gun frame. Backtrack into the previous room,
and make your way up two flights of stairs. Go southeast and then northeast and
open the chest for a red apple. Continue your way up the stairs and exit through
the room to the north. Head through the corridor to the second fork in the road
and go northwest to open a chest for a red apple. Go back to the fork and head
northeast. Stick to the north wall and wrap around the top of the room and go
into another corridor. Grab the treasure chest for a solar nut. Exit the room to
the southwest. Go into the next room with the undead icon flashing.

~ Trap! ~

This trap is pretty easy. All you have to do is eradicate all the mummies. This
is extremely easy because the mummies have to get near you to attack you. You
can stay away from them by standing on the raised parts of the ground and
shooting the mummies before they can get near you. An obstacle is the switches
on the ground that are activated when you step on them drop bombs towards you.
Try and avoid these, but if you must go over them, just keep running so the bomb
does not drop on it.

Make your way to the exit in the northeast. Before you go, climb up the closest
stairs to the door to grab a chest filled with an ice nut. Exit the room.
Continue northeast and exit the dungeon.

Congrats! You have completed Catacomb.

Head northeast and into the next area. Take note of the large cube and walk
towards it. Otenko will explain what it is. Continue northeast and enter
Bloodrust Mansion

Apple (x4), Green Apple, Evil Banana (x3), Redshroom

Make your way northeast and into the large lot. Otenko will summon the Pile
Driver, and discover the Luna lens. You will automatically pick it up, and
Otenko will tell you the history of it. After his speech, go northeast. Head
through the next room and into the castle. The next room is dark, and Otenko
will explain how to combat it. Head up the stairs into the next room, where a
puzzle awaits.

To solve the puzzle first make your way to the northeast part of the room. Move
the most southeast block southwest once. Move the top block northeast twice.
Move the box to the southeast of the treasure chest southeast once. Open the
chest to grab an O Key. Exit the room and head downstairs. Open the blue door
with the key.

After Otenko talks, light the Solar Lamp. Move the box northeast and head
southeast. Open the chest for an empty gourd. Exit the room and head northwest
into the next room. Take Otenko's advice from the Otenko Panel, and make your
way northeast and into the corridor. Exit the room. The Otenko Panel is the same
as one in the fog castle. Climb the stairs and exit the room into a corridor.
Listen to Otenko's advice and start the puzzle. First, move the southeast box
northeast twice. Next, move the northeast box northwest twice. Move the final
box southeast four times. Then move it northeast to open the door. Exit through
the door.

Follow the path and head northeast to the exit. Outside, go southeast and enter
the entrance inside. Go through the corridor and exit. Go southeast and listen
to the Otenko Panel. Climb the stairs. Continue through the corridor. When you
are outside, it appears the path ends. You can walk on the roof however, so do
so. Move northeast across the roof and enter the hole in the wall. Open the
chest for a banana. Leave and head northeast some more and enter another hole.
Open the chest for a speed nut. Backtrack back to the room at the bottom of the
steps.

Move northeast and into the corridor. Go past the first door and enter the
second door. Open the chest for a solar nut. Go back into the room and go back
to the first door. Go northeast in the room and maneuver your way to the
northwest exit. Walk down the path on the roof and open the chest for a speed
nut. Backtrack into the previous room. Head down the stairs. Head down the
corridor to the end and open the chest for a red apple. Head southeast and enter
the first room to the southwest.

Enter the room and listen to the Otenko Panel. Pull out your Fighter frame. Now
remember that mummies have no eyes. Knock on the Otenko Panel and get the
mummies attention. Stay flattened against the wall. When he mummy passes, let
lose with your gun and keep hitting him until he is stunned and on the panel.
Exit the room to the southwest. Go through the corridor and exit this area. Go
northeast and exit. Walk through the court yard. Pay attention to what design
the ground makes. It should be a number. Follow the path on the southeast wall
and enter the next room.

In this room, there is a wall with just numbers on it. Whatever number the
courtyard was, add some numbers to achieve that number. For example, if the
number was 9, enter 4+3+2=9. Enter the room that opens.
Another number puzzle is here. Before you do it, head to the southeast exit and
grab the silver coin in the green chest. Examine the inscription on the wall and
take note of the different times of day the journal is talking about. The puzzle
is different from difficulty to difficulty. Write down the numbers of what the
journal is talking about. Leave the room and let's begin the puzzle.
Depending on the difficulty, the puzzle order is 7, 9, 10, 1, 3, 5, 8. If you
are playing on an easy difficulty, the puzzle will end before you get to 8. Go
down the stairs.

Follow the corridor and go southwest and open a chest containing a banana. Make
your way back and go northeast. Continue past the fork and go southwest for
another chest with a green apple inside. Go back to the fork and go northeast.
Follow the northwest wall to the end and go down the stairs. Open the chest for
a solar nut. Go back up the stairs. Go southeast and down the stairs. Make your
way northeast and exit the room. Go northeast a little bit and down the stairs.
Open the chest for a redshroom.

Go back up the stairs and northeast some more. Go up the several flights of
stairs and leave the room. Exit the room. Move the wooden box northeast once. Go
up the stairs and follow the path until you reach another box. Push the box
southeast once. Go back to the first wooden box and push it northeast four times
to fill in the gap. Exit. Listen to Otenko talk again.

Head southeast and follow the corridor to the last door. Listen to the Otenko
Panel. Pull the lever so the platform will rise up. The platform will come in
handy later. Continue southeast. Listen to the Otenko Panel once again. Pull out
your Fighter frame and quickly make your way to the sunlight. Shoot the enemy
and keep shooting until he is stunned and on the panel. Exit the room. Listen to
the Otenko Panel. Make your way northeast and open the chest for a solar nut. Go
southeast and exit the room.

Go southeast and open the two treasure chests for a green apple and a banana. Go
northeast and then northwest. Pull the level. Listen to Otenko talk. Backtrack
into the previous room. By it has changed! Make your way northwest and listen to
the Otenko Panels advice. Leave through the northwest. The doors will shut. Take
out your Fighter frame and do like you have in the past. Shoot until the bad
guys are stunned and over the switches. To lure the second one, just knock and
he will come running.

Exit the room and head northwest. Exit through the door. Open the chest for four
Bomb grenades. Now for the puzzle.

Move the southwest block northwest once. Move the southeast block southeast
once. Move the northeast block, northwest once. Go up the stairs and follow the
path to the next section. Go up the middle stairs, and watch the cut scene.
Enter the room with your weapons ready.

~ Boss: The Count of Groundsoaking Blood ~

This is your first real boss fight. He will start by having swords revolve
around him. When they spin and come at you, shoot at them to send the back to
the Count, hurting him. He will then break up into bats. Attack them with the
Spread shot. At random times, he will send rocks from underneath to attack you.
When you see red mist appear, dodge the attack. Another attack is harder to
avoid. When you hear him giggle, start running perpendicular from the Count. He
will then come after you, and if he gets you, will bite into you and take a
decent amount of health away. This will also heal him, so it is important you do
not get caught. The way to beat him is to attack him when he has the swords
spinning around him or when he is a bat. Stay away from him when he does not
have swords spinning around, so you can avoid him from sinking his teeth into
you. A very quick way to defeat him is to get him to rush you when you are
standing on the sunlight areas. Dodge him and he will run into the sun, and die.
Hopefully he dropped the Tonniar .rM items before he dies.

~ Escape ~

Grab the chest and leave the room. Head down the stairs and into the next room.
Place the coffin on the platform to the southwest. Pull the lever and lower the
coffin. Head southeast and enter the next room. Run to the direct south and
exit. Run through the next room to the southeast and exit. Pull down the lever
in the north section of the room. Exit the room through the same door you came
through. Head northwest through the next two rooms and reunite with the coffin.
Pick it up and take it northwest some more.

Follow the corridor to the very end and enter the door. Check out the Otenko
Panel. Take the coffin and put it on the weight switch. Leave the room through
the north exit at the bottom of the room. Go back into the previous room through
the south exit. Push the wooden box into the hole and grab the coffin. Exit
through the south exit. Exit through the southwest exit. Knock on one of the
pillars in the middle of the room to attract the attention of the Bok. Hide out
of the way. When he is in line with the weight switches, let loose on him until
he is stunned on one of the panels. Bring the coffin to the other panel and exit
through the north exit at the bottom of the room. Push the box into the gap.
Open the chest for a life fruit. Go into the south exit and grab the coffin.
Leave through the south exit. Make your way to the southwest exit and into the
next room.

Do like you did in the last area, and wait until the Bok is in line with the
weight switches and let loose. Bring the coffin over to the other weight switch.
Leave through the south exit. Push the wooden box into the gap and grab the O
Key from the purple chest. Go back into the north exit and grab the coffin.
Leave through the north exit at the bottom. Enter the next area through the
southwest exit. Otenko will give you another speech about the Solar Barrier.
Exit through the bottom using the O Key. Exit through the southwest. Make your
way through the corridor to the southwest exit. Go southwest into the next room.

Drop the coffin and push the wooden box four times southwest. Push it northwest
once. Grab the coffin and exit through the southwest. Exit through the southwest
to the door. Exit once again through the southwest to the exit. Drag the coffin
southwest to the next area. Drag the coffin to the Pile Driver. Charge up the
generators and step into the shining symbol to the south.

~ Pile Driver: The Count of Groundsoaking Blood ~

This time, the Count will attack you with his underground spike attack. Do not
stop moving and you should avoid this easily. Keep the generators charged to
defeat the Count and watch a cut scene. Pick up the treasure chests that have a
lot of stuff and exit to the southwest.

After the speech by Otenko, head up through the other path to the Solar Tree.
Take the northwest path and go up on the hill. Talk to Lita. She will give a
nice lengthy speech, and also give you a solar nut and a solar leaf.

After you are done with the Solar Tree, head down the hill and take the
northeast path for a cut scene. After the encounter with Sabata, head northeast
into the dungeon.

Head into the northwest exit. After the speech about Dark Loans, head up the
stairs. Go northwest and take the exit. Check out the Otenko Panel and then go
all the way down the stairs. Open the chest for a see-all nut. Head to the
northwest exit and up the stairs. Go down the steps and head up the corridor
into the next room. Make your way up some stairs and then back down another set.
Open the green chest for a life fruit. After the speech, back track to previous
room and make your way up the stairs. Go through the corridor to the northwest.
Make your way to the very top of the stairs and enter the room with the Undead
symbol.

~ Trap! ~

In this trap, you have to get all the chests without being spotted. Take your
time and this will be a piece of cake. Just sneak around and do not show
yourself to the front of any Bok and you can get through this easy. The chests
contain ten green apples. After you defeat this trap, you will receive a chest
and a /\ key. Leave the room after you are done.

Make your way back to the room with the pitfalls and open the door to your
northeast with the /\ key. Go through the corridor and down the steps. Enter the
room to the northwest and grab the chests containing a silver coin, and a see-
all nut. Do not grab the middle chests, as it is a monster chest and will attack
you. Exit the room and make your way to the exit in the northeast.

Head northeast into the next area. Head up the big stairs you first see and make
your way to the stairs into the pit to your southwest. Open the green chest for
a silver coin and the other chest for a red apple. Go back up the stairs and
head northeast. Head up the two flights of stairs and continue northeast to
another set of stairs. Continue northeast and turn northwest to reach another
chest with a solar nut inside.

Head up the stairs to your southwest and after the Sun Bank speech, continue
going southwest. Maneuver your way to the stairs and head into the cave. Huge
the southeast wall and open a chest to reveal a red apple. Head up two sets of
stairs and grab the chest containing a solar leaf. Head up the stairs some more
and make your way to the end of the corridor.

~ Trap! ~

This is another sub boss. Instead of a sword, you will face an axe. Head up to
the larger flat area where the axe is awaiting with some smaller axes circling
him. Destroy the small axes and start pounding away at the big axe. It will
disappear and when it comes down will try and slice you, so keep running. It is
a pretty easy boss. Just keep pounding away it will eventually die. Grab the
chest and make your way out of the dungeon to the northeast.

Head northeast and continue doing so until you hit a fork. Take the north path
and enter Permafrost.

Grab the chest for an ice nut. Continue northeast and up the stairs. After the
encounter with Sabata, continue northeast and take the path north. I suggest
this way because it is harder to come back with the coffin when you go the other
way. Grab the chest for a banana. Continue on to the next area.

Go up the stairs and then back down the most northwest stairs. Go northeast and
pick up the chest containing an ice nut. Go up the stairs for a couple of bombs.
Go down the stairs and continue northwest and into the next area. Follow the
path into the cave. Move northwest one more and go into the exit. Listen to the
Otenko Panel. This puzzle is simple. Move the 2 block southeast once, and
northeast twice. The screen will flash. When the chest appears, grab it for
three apples. Go into the previous room and go through the northeast exit.

Make your way southeast and enter the room on the screen. Inside will be chests.
Grab them all except for the third one from the southwest, it is a chest
monster. Leave the room and head northeast, and then northwest and into the
room. Here there is a puzzle. Listen to the Otenko Panel and then start the
puzzle. Move the 6 box northeast twice. Now move it northwest twice. Move it
northeast once more into its spot. Move the 1 box southeast three times, and
then northeast twice. The puzzle is complete. Grab the chest for four bananas.

Head out of the room, and then northwest. Enter the final room. Read the Otenko
Panel, and then solve the puzzle. Move the x box northeast twice, northwest
twice, and then finally northeast once. Grab the chest for five speed nuts. Exit
the room and make your way northwest to the previously locked door and enter it.
Go up the stairs and back into a cave. Read the Otenko Panel.

Slide southeast across the ice. Slide directly west. Slide directly north. If
you did not hit the wall and bounce to the south wall, slide southeast. Now
slide north. Grab the chest with an ice nut inside. Slide directly south. Slide
northwest. Slide northeast. Slide southeast. Slide northeast. Slide southeast
once again. Slide northwest and grab the chest with a solar nut inside. Slide to
your east and exit the cave. Head up the stairs to the northwest and grab the
chest containing some bombs. Go southeast and grab the chest with a speed nut
inside. Go back to the stairs and go down them, and then go down the next set.
Make your way northeast and exit this area.

Head northeast and then turn northwest. Grab the chest with a see-all nut.
Continue northeast and then turn and enter the cave. Grab the chest containing a
speed nut and leave through the south. Head up the stairs. Make your way to the
chest and grab it for a green apple. Backtrack and head northeast down the
stairs, and then into the next area. Follow the path, and head up the stairs.
Grab the chest containing a set of bombs. Continuing following the path and
enter the cave. Head southeast and down the hill. Push the box southwest twice,
and head down the stairs again. Continue along the path and grab the chest for
some flash grenades. Head into the room. After the cut scene, follow Sabata into
the northwest room.

Go up the hill and into the next room. Follow the corridor into the next room.
Grab the chest with an empty gourd inside. Head northeast some more and open the
green chest for a life fruit. Head through the head to the northeast. Head up
the stairs in the south. Go down the stairs and enter the room. Open the two
chests in there for a green apple and an ice nut. Back track to the last area
and head northwest. Go northeast and listen to the Otenko Panel. Head back down
southwest and enter the room to the northeast. Follow the corridor and slide
across the ice. Go up the stairs and open the chest for five scan grenades. Head
down the stairs and then northwest across the ice. Head northeast to open a
chest containing a solar nut. Head back to the ice and then go northwest and
then southwest and then up the stairs. Shoot a scan grenade to reveal a chest
with speed nut. Go into the room that is to the northeast and open the chest for
an ice nut. Go back into the previous room. Go southeast across the ice. Get the
treasure chest while sliding for a green apple. Head northeast across the ice
for a solar nut and a green apple. Leave through the exit on the southeast wall.
Go up four flights of stairs and then push the box southeast.

Go down two flights of stairs and get on the icy platform. When the platform is
done, get off of it and go down two flights of stairs. Make your way southeast
to the door that was just unlocked. Head southwest and follow the path to the
chest containing some bombs. Back track and head up the stairs. Follow the path
and then go up the stairs once again. Go across the ice and open the chest for a
green apple. Continue across the ice for another green apple. Now head southwest
down the ice. Grab the chest. Go southeast across the ice and the northeast,
opening the chests. Grab the next chest for a speed nut. Go northeast and grab
the chest. Make your way north and then go up the stairs. Grab the chest for a
solar leaf. Exit the room.

Go up the stairs and follow the path. Before you enter the Immortal room, push
the wooden box southwest once. Now enter the room. Walk northeast for a cut
scene. Afterwards, get ready to fight.

~ Boss: The Lifefreezing Silver Wolf, Snow Wolf Garmr ~

Garmr will attack you two ways. First, he will shoot ice cold breath at you,
bringing new meaning to the term "Icy fresh breath". Another attack, he will
stand still, and then "blow up". This one deals great damage. The weapon of
choice is the bomb grenades. A couple of those should be enough to destroy the
wolf.
~ Escape ~

After you defeat Garmr, grab him and head southwest into the next area. Go down
two flights of stairs and then stand on the icy elevator. Go down the elevator.
Go down another two set of stairs and then enter the next room to the southwest.
You should be able to backtrack to the Pile Driver now. Bring Garmr to the Pile
Driver, and watch a cut scene. Garmr closes up the hole, so now you must travel
back to the very beginning of the dungeon. Head directly south and exit.

Go northeast. Drop the coffin and move the box twice northwest. Bring the coffin
inside and move the box back to its original spot. Go up the stairs and exit the
room. Go down the stairs and grab the chest with an ice nut inside. Continue
onward through the path into the next section. Grab the chest containing three
bombs. Do not go up the large stairs; instead maneuver your way through the
southeast. Go up the smaller set of stairs and grab the chest with a solar leaf
inside. Go down the stairs and leave this area through the southeast.

Make your way through the path and up the first set of stairs. Go inside the
cave. Drop the coffin off in the Solar Barrier and go northeast grabbing a chest
with a speed nut inside. Grab the coffin, leave, and go up the many steps of
stairs. Go around the first pitfall and then to the south of the second pitfall
and across the southeast one. The coffin will fall down, but you will not. Grab
the chest for a see-all nut. Go down the same hole the coffin fell down, which
should have been the southeast of the two. Grab the silver coin from the green
chest. Push the big ice block southeast once. Grab the coffin and leave through
the southwest exit. Go up a flight of stairs and grab the chest for a speed nut.
Go up two flights of stairs. Go northwest, avoiding the first pitfall. Now
intentionally fall down the next pitfall to the northwest with your coffin. Grab
the chest for three flash grenades. Push the ice block southeast and go down the
stairs.
Make your way out through the southwest and follow the path to the next area. Go
southwest and grab the chest for a red apple. Continue going southwest and open
the chest for a set of flash grenades. Continue southwest and exit this area. Go
through the path and go up the flight of stairs.

~ Pile Driver: The Lifefreezing Silver Wolf, Snow Wolf Garmr ~

Otenko will summon a Pile Driver. Place the coffin in the middle and charge up
the generators. Garmr will attack you by breathing his icy cold breath on you.
The only real way to avoid it is to get running until he stops. You can try and
stay on the outside, but it still might reach you. A couple of times when you
are fighting Garmr, one of the generators will freeze up. I would not waste my
time on reviving it. It will come back in now time by itself, and you would have
wasted a lot of energy, which might suck if you are not playing in the sunlight.
After you defeat Garmr, you will receive the Frost Solar Gun lens. Grab the
chest afterwards to get 15 rotten nuts. Make your way southeast out of the
dungeon.

Before we head east to the mountain, I will explain how to beat the rest of the
dungeons. If you want to skip this part and head directly to the Firetop
Mountain section.

Go back to the fork in the road and head northeast. Continue down the trail and
turn southeast to enter Stench Forest.

Head down the path and then up the hill. Open the chest for a green apple. Go
southeast and enter the north exit. Open the first chest for a red apple. Head
over to the southeast and grab the green treasure for the triple battery. It may
look like you cannot reach it, but you can. Back track into the previous area.
Head down the hill and take the south exit. Push the large stone southeast and
into the gap to cross it. Head southwest and exit this area.

Head southwest and enter the next room. Make your way to the green chest for a
silver coin. Go back into the previous room. Go to the southeast passage to the
next room. Go northeast and open the chest for a see-all nut. Head back
southwest, and open the chest to grab a red apple. Continue southwest. Go up the
hill and a chest containing a solar nut will be there. Instead of continuing to
go southwest and enter the Undead area, go back to the previous room, and head
northwest to enter another area. Head up one hill, and then go southwest and
head down two hills. Open the chest for a change grenade. Go back up the hill,
this time going up three hills.

Continue down the long hill and along the path open up a chest containing a
bomb. Go south along the path to another chest with a flash grenade inside. Now
go back north and then up the hill. Go through the path and enter the Undead
room.

~ Trap! ~

You must defeat a sword in this trap. He is slightly stronger then that last
sword, and the confusing terrain helps ante up the difficulty. Disperse of the
sword and grab the chest in the middle near the tree. Go down
the hill and exit to the southwest.

Congrats! You have completed Stench Forest!

Head southwest from the Stench Forest and continue southwest until you reach a
fork. Head northwest. Head southwest. Head southwest and go into Death Cliff.
Teleport to the beginning and exit the dungeon. Keep heading southwest and do

Head southeast and down the stairs. Move the rock block twice southwest. Head
down the set of stairs, and move the rock block four times southeast. Now move
the other block once southwest, and then southeast once. Climb does the stairs.
Push the same block southwest once and then northwest three times over the
weight switch. Enter the previously locked room. Push the block northwest once.
Grab what's inside of the green chest. It is a Fencer Solar Gun frame. Backtrack
into the previous room and head to the southeast exit.

Go down the stairs and open the chest for a red apple. Use a see-all nut and go
southeast. Open the chest you can now see to get a bomb. Climb up the stairs and
head southeast. Open the chest to get a solar nut. Head to the southeast exit to
enter a trap.

~ Trap! ~

Again you have to defeat a sword. The same rules apply to this sword as the rest
of them, except he is green now. Kill it and grab the chest. Exit to the
southeast.

Head southeast down the stairs and through the door. Enter the room and listen
to the Otenko Panel. Head southeast and light the light. Move the north wooden
box northwest once. Move the south box northwest once, and then southwest once
into the gap. Move the north block southeast twice, southwest once, and then
northwest once. Move it southwest once, northwest four times into the gap. Grab
the life fruit from the green chest. Head to the southwest wall and pick up a
red apple from the chest. Exit the room through the southeast.

Make your way southeast without killing any monsters. Tap on the wall to lure a
single bok onto the weight switch to the south. Exit through the door. Listen to
the Otenko Panel.

~ Easy Puzzle ~

Move the south wooden box southeast once into the gap. Push the closest box to
your north off the higher level and onto the lower level. Push it so that it
lines up with the stairs.

~ Normal Puzzle ~

Move the northwest box southwest once. Move the other box southeast once. Move
the previous box southeast, and then southwest onto the floor. Go downstairs and
push it southeast twice. Head to the box that is east of the two. Move it
northeast twice. Go back to the other box (the one not in the gap), and push it
southeast once onto the ground. Move it northeast twice.

Make your way up the stairs and exit the room through the northeast. Go down the
stairs and open up the chest to your north for a solar nut. Go up a flight of
stairs and head northwest and exit. Continue northwest and then turn northeast
at the second turn. Head southeast and then northeast to pick up a speed nut.
Head northeast and then make your way to the door on the north part of the
southeast wall.

Equip your Fight frame, and stun the opponent until he is on the weight switch.
When he is on the switch, head towards the Undead door, but head northeast and
grab the solar leaf from the chest. Move you way into the Undead door.

~ Trap! ~

This is a very interesting puzzle but quite easy. Head into the red circle and
set it off. The boks will be alerted. Quickly run to the northeast and hide.
When all three of the boks are surrounding the red circle, let loose with a
barrage of bombs to easily beat this level. Grab the chest and leave the room.
Continue down the stairs and leave the dungeon.

Head northeast and into the next room. Head northeast and into the corridor.
Exit the room and enter the next. Move up the stairs and again go northeast into
the next room where a trap is.

~ Trap! ~

Another simple trap, all you have to do here is defeat the mummies. Shoot them
with the spread, and when their life runs out, run away, because they will
explode. Take note of fire cracks in the walls where flames shoot out of. Open
the chests to grab some random stuff as well as a /\ key.

Backtrack into the previous rooms and head to the blue door to the northwest.
Use the key and enter it. Continue through the next room and leave the dungeon.

Enter the dungeon. Do not go up the stairs, instead take the southeast route and
follow the corridor into the next room. Head to the northeast exit and go into
the door. Make your way up the stairs and down the stairs into the small lot in
the middle. Open the chest for a /\ key. Go back up a flight of stairs and make
your way southwest. Go down the stairs and open the chest for a speed nut. Go
back into the previous room. Go to the northeast wall and follow it until you
see a wooden door. Enter the door. Open the chest for the Vortex Solar Gun
frame. Exit the room and make your way to the southwest exit and make your way
up the stairs at the beginning. Open the door and enter it.

Go northeast and then down the huge flight of stairs. Make your way around the
higher level and go up the stairs and get the solar nut from the chest. Go back
down the stairs and northeast to grab the green chest containing a silver coin.
Exit through the southwest. Turn on the light and continue southwest. Move the
wooden block northwest once, and southwest thrice. Enter the room now unlocked.
Grab the [] key from the purple chest. Now, make your way back up those huge
flight of stairs and enter it using the [] key. Make your way down the stairs
and to the Undead exit.

~ Trap! ~

In this dark room, you will be required to kill the boks that are waiting
inside. I found that the easiest way to do this is to equip the flash grenade.
Shoot one into the air. All the boks are now unconscious. Now you can freely
move and kill all the boks. Beware that when their life is diminished, they will
explode, so move quickly away from them. Grab the chest from the center and make
your way northeast to the exit.

You are going to now have to make your way to the dungeon to the directly south
to you. Go back into Suffering House and teleport to the beginning. Exit and
head southwest. Teleport back to the beginning of Crumbling Mine. Go southwest
and then turn southeast when the path allows. Enter Stairs of Trial and teleport
to the end. Make your way southeast, northeast, and then turn southeast. Take
the south path into Ruined Cemetery.

From the entrance, head southeast into the next room. Head through the path,
picking up the red apple from the chest, and go into the next area. Head
southeast and grab the chest containing a solar nut. Continue southwest. At the
very southeast wall, will be two chests. One contains a red apple, the other a
solar nut. Grab them. Head all the way back up northwest, and then go southwest
and up the stairs. Go down the stairs and stick to the fence. Do not go up the
stairs but follow the fence to get a chest with a speed nut inside. Now
backtrack and make your way up the stairs and then go down the stairs into the
hole. Follow the corridor, and then make your way back northeast and grab the
two chests containing a silver coin and the Knife Solar Gun frame. Go back up
the stairs and exit.

Backtrack down the stairs, then back up, and then down again. Make your way
northeast, and then turn southeast and take the exit to the next room. Do not go
up the stairs, instead make your way around them and open the chest containing a
bomb. Backtrack a little and go up the stairs to your north, and then down a set
of stairs. Open the chest for another bomb. Now backtrack to the stairs I told
you not to go up, and then go up the stairs and down the other set. Make your
way southeast and grab the chest that is hidden behind the tree for a red apple.
Now go the only other direction you can and head northeast. Go southeast before
the stairs and continue along the fence for a banana in a chest hidden by a
tree, and for a solar nut chest. Go back to the stairs and go past them. Do not
pick up the chest, for it is a monster. Continue in that direction. Once you hit
the fence, go northwest and open the chest for a solar leaf. There is another
chest to your northeast hidden behind a tree that contains a flash grenade. Head
back to the stairs you passed and go up them, and then go down into the hole. Go
down the corridor and then into the room.

~ Trap! ~

This is another simple kill all the enemies without being found. Shoot a flash
grenade and go and kill everything. Try and not step on the weight switches, as
they summon more boks. After you kill everything, grab the chest. Exit through
the corridor you came from.

Outside, go down the stairs and head southeast into the next room. Head
southeast another area and exit the dungeon.

Head southeast, and into a path that you cannot see with your eyes. Continue the
next level and listen to the speech Otenko gives. Since you cannot go this way
because of a lack of lens, go back into the previous area and head northeast a
bit and into Firetop Mountain.

Move northeast and Otenko will summon the Pile Driver. Continue onward to the
next screen. Go up the stairs and listen to the Otenko Panel. Head back
downstairs and enter the cave. Equip your Frost lens to have an advantage
against the enemies. Grab the chest for a see-all nut and then head to the
southeast exit. Grab the chest to receive a banana. Head back into the previous
room and then into the northeast exit. Make your way to the other side of the
area and enter the room. Grab the chest for an empty gourd.

Go into the previous room and head southeast. Enter the room and then head up
the stairs. Push the wooden box southeast once and then go back down stairs.
Head northeast. Maneuver along the path and enter the exit at the very end.

Move the first block southwest once. Move the next box northwest twice. Move the
box to your northeast, northeast once. Move the remaining box that is blocking
the stairs southeast once and go up the stairs.

Listen to the Otenko Panel. Freeze the fireball to your north and grab the chest
for three bombs. Make your way southeast and grab the chest for a see-all nut.
Go up two flights of stairs, and make your way to the next flight. Go down and
then go down again to the next area. Make your way up the stairs and hug the
wall to your northeast. Push the box southwest five times into the gap. Continue
along the corridor and go outside.

Go along the path and up a couple of stairs. Go down a flight to the wooden box
you saw at the very beginning. Grab the chest and then push the wooden box
northwest once. Go up three flights of stairs and enter the cave. Grab the
banana from the chest and then push the box northwest. Exit the room and make
your way downstairs twice and then enter the other cave entrance. Go up the
stairs and push the wooden box southeast once. Head up the stairs into the next
room and then grab the chest for a solar nut. Backtrack all the way to where you
pushed the first box in this paragraph and head to through the corridor to the
next room. Listen to what Otenko says.

Go down the many stairs and enter the cave. Walk through the screen and leave
the cave. Go up two flights of stairs and go into the cave. Go through the
corridor, down the stairs and grab the see-all nut from the chest. Go southeast
and do not grab the treasure chest. It's a monster. Go up the stairs and into
the lava controls room. Maneuver your way all the way through to the next room.
Along the way, push the wooden box southwest into the gap. In the next room,
there are going to be a flames shooting out of the wall. Make your way to the
next room. Pull the lever and make your way all the way back to the room with
the treasure chest monster. Make your way to the southwest and grab the two
chests along the way. Exit. Listen to Otenko and then exit to the outside.

Follow the path and go up some stairs. Push the wooden block southwest once and
head up the stairs to get the chest containing a green apple. Head up another
flight of stairs and enter the cave. Make your way across the path and watch a
short cut scene. Make your way north to the stairs and grab the flame nut. Go up
the stairs and to the southwest open the chest for a see-all nut. Go up the
remaining flights of stairs and enter the cave.

Go up the stairs and grab the four scan grenades. Shoot one up in the air and go
up the stairs and grab the hidden chest containing a solar nut to the west.
Continue up the stairs and head up another flight. Pick up the flame nut in the
chest and head back down two flights of stairs for a banana in a chest. Make
your way up four flights of stairs and exit the room.

Go along the path and enter the first path. Leave without borrowing anything and
then leave. You now have a Dark Card. Continue down the path and enter the next
room where a puzzle waits. Listen to what the Otenko Panel says. Before you go
up the stairs, go along the path and grab the silver coin from the green chest.
Now go up the stairs and grab the chest containing a bomb.

Push the box into the gap northwest. Push the next wooden box southeast into the
gap. Push the box in the northeast, northeast twice into the gap. Go to the
first block you pushed and push it northeast twice, northwest once, and
northeast six times. Go down the stairs and listen to the Otenko Panel.

Push the most southeast block northeast once. Push the block next to you four
times to the northwest, and then northeast once. Go to the box that is directly
south of you and push it southeast three times. Go to the box to your southwest
and push it northwest once and northeast seven times. Go southeast and up the
stairs. Make your way across the newly formed path and up the stairs.

Go up the huge stairs and then down two smaller flights. Go southeast and follow
the path into the next room. Continue following the path until you go into the
next room. Pull down the lever and watch the block fall. Backtrack all the way
to the room where you pushed all the boxes around. Make your way to the dual set
of single stairways and go up them and into the next room. Push the wooden box
southwest, and into the gap. Exit through the other exit, and make your way to
the next room. Continue along the path southeast and watch a cut scene.
Afterwards, pull the lever to make the lava rise. Go northeast and enter the
next room.
Listen to the Otenko Panel and take his advice. Jump on the first moving floor,
and get off at the next area. Make your way around the lava and onto the next
moving floor. Grab the chest in the middle for five change grenades. Jump off
the platform and onto the next one. Get off at the next stop and make your way
to the exit. Follow the corridor and grab the chest for some rising sun
grenades. Go back and get on the moving platform in the previous room. Get off
at the next stop and grab the chest. Jump back on and get off at the next stop
once again. Before you exit, go northeast and along the wall to get the chest
with a solar nut inside. Now exit through the southwest. Make your way across
the path and into the next room. Follow the corridor and push the box southeast
once. Go across and northeast and pull the switch to drop a platform. Backtrack
all the way back to the room where you encountered Sabata and head northeast
along the wall to the next room.

Follow the wall around the lava to open a chest containing two flash grenades.
Head back south and jump on the platform. At the next stop, get off and jump on
the next platform. At the next stop, jump off, follow the path and exit the
room. Go upstairs and grab the chest with a speed nut inside. Go up the next
stairs and ignore the chest. Go up four flights of stairs and grab the chest
along the way. At the top, go southeast and into the next room to drop another
platform. Backtrack to the room with the moving platforms. Cross the lava with
the first platform, and get on the second platform. At the next stop, jump off
and grab the chest containing a banana. Jump on the platform to the southeast
and get off at the next stop. Open the chest for a red apple, and then the green
chest for a life fruit. Backtrack all the way back to the large room where the
platforms now cross the lava, and do so. Watch the nice cut scene.

~ Boss: Iron Giant from Inferno, Iron Golem Muspell ~

This boss can be pretty hard if you do not know what you are doing. Luckily you
are reading my FAQ :) First, let's begin with the golem's attacks. If he gets
close to you, he will try and slap you around. To avoid, stay away from him. If
you are not around, he will smash the ground, causing rocks to fall. Just do not
get stuck on one of the shadows and you can avoid this. Now, he will roll up in
a ball and roll towards you like other golems. This is where you go off on him.
Stand near where the lava is, and wait for the giant to roll into you. Before he
hits you, move out of the way. He will start teetering on the edge. This is
where you blast him, sending him into the lava, hurting him greatly. He will
jump out, and try and land on you. Keep moving to avoid this. The impact from
him landing will make fireballs come down ala the rocks earlier. Do the same to
avoid them as the rocks. After a little bit, he will split into three smaller
golems. Attack them, but try not to get hit by them. Eventually he will come
back together. Repeat the bait, dodge, blast until he is in the coffin. After
defeating him, watch the cut scene.

Before you escape, head northeast and go up the stairs and into a room with lots

of goodies. There are also a lot of goodies that you can grab when the lava is
lowered in the rooms on this level, but I am not going to go into detail about
them.

~ Escape ~

Grab the coffin. Go to the outside and pull the lever to lower it. Enter the
room just northwest of the lever. Make your way through the now not filled up
with lava room to some stairs to the south where you can go to then go to the
next area. Go up a bunch of stairs and then go down a few. Put the coffin on the
weight switch. Go into the next room and push the box southeast. Go back into
the previous room and grab the coffin. Go into the room you just came from and
go northeast and then down the stairs. Go around the hole and down some stairs
to the outside. Go down the stairs and enter the room. Push the wooden box
northeast, and down the stairs and exit. Go down multiple stairs and make your
way back to the very beginning of the dungeon. Exit this area and then bring the
coffin into the Pile Driver.

~ Pile Driver: Iron Giant from Inferno, Iron Golem Muspell ~

This Pile Driver is the typical same thing. The golem will overheat one of the
generators, but do not waste your Sun power on it. It will soon come back. The
giant shoots fireballs up in the air, and they are pretty easy to avoid, just
keep moving. Muspell will quickly be killed and you will have opened up the Dark
Seal he controlled. As a reward, you will get the Flame I lens. Exit to the
southwest.

Go northeast and make your way north. Turn northwest and head to Sealed Hill.
Otenko will give you a nice speech about what you have to do. Head up the hill
and enter Remaining Tower

Go northeast and grab the chest for a bomb. Head up the stairs go all the way up
to the very top and enter the exit. Move the southwest block southeast once.
Move the northeast block northeast once. Jump on the platform and go down.
Follow the path and enter the next room. In this room, make your way south and
grab the chest containing a change grenade. Go up the stairs and into the next
room. Make your way north. There are two hidden chests on each side of the
stairs to north. Grab them and then head up the stairs into the corridor. Make
your way through the corridor and go up the stairs.

In these next couple of rooms, you must keep moving. Spiked balls fall down from
the roof and damage you pretty good. You know they are coming when you hear a
strange noise. Make your way southwest and into the next room. Grab the purple
chest to get a [] key. Exit the room and head southeast into the next section.
Follow the path and end up in the next section. Go northwest and turn northeast.
Go into the room. Shoot a scan grenade and grab the silver coin from the green
chest. Exit the room and use the [] key to get into the blue door.

~ Trap! ~

You must defeat the armor. He is pretty easy. His attacks include bashing the
ground, doing a spin attack, and making spiky balls come from the ceiling. He
blocks with his shield. Just keep attacking him, avoiding his attacks and he
will soon be dead. Grab the /\ key and leave.

Make your way back about four areas and head to the blue door. Unlock it with
the /\ key. Enter. Go through the next section and enter the exit the other
side. Go up the stairs and follow the path to the next area. Walk around the
hole in the ground and stand on top of the platform. It will lower down into a
room where you get the Crusade Solar Gun frame. Move the block southwest and get
out of the middle room. Make your way to the northeast exit and leave the
dungeon.

You must enter the level when it is daylight hours in the game. You can adjust
your clock to cheat the system or just wait it out. Head northeast and into the
next area. Listen to what Otenko says. The key to beating this level is to
follow your shadow. Whichever way your shadow is facing, north is to the next
direction clockwise. Here's a small diagram to help you.

Before we head to Sol City, let's finish the dungeons in this area. Head
southeast from the Delusion Forest and enter Scar of the Land.

Follow the corridor, down the stairs, and head to the next section. Grab one of
the chests. Shoot both of them to determine which one is the monster. Go
southwest and into the next section. Make your way through the corridor and grab
the chest containing a flame nut. Continue to the next exit. Follow the path,
making sure not to fall into the purple sludge. To the southwest of the path the
stairs go up, there is a chest containing a flame nut. To the northeast there is
a chest containing a speed nut. Grab those two chests and head up the stairs.

Continue on, go down the stairs, and follow the path. Grab the chest containing
an empty gourd and then go up the stairs. Before going downstairs, grab the
solar nut from the chest. Exit downstairs. Equip your frost lens and extinguish
the flame balls and grab the silver coin and the Dagger Solar Gun frame from the
green chests. Go to the corridor to the southwest and exit at the end.

This is an interesting puzzle. The four weight switches in your room control the
bok in the closed off room. To defeat this puzzle, the order of the weight
switches you have to press is southwest twice, southeast three times, and then
northeast once. Make sure the bok is done with his current order before you go
on to the next, or you will have one tasty bok dinner. When the bok goes onto
his weight switch, exit the room and into a trap.

~ Trap! ~

You have to defeat another armor. The same rules apply as the armor in the
Remaining Tower, except this one is sensitive to the Frost lens. Equip it, and
you might as well use the Dagger frame you received just minutes before on him.
After he is destroyed, pick the up the two chests, one which contains a /\ key.

Backtrack all the way back to the room where you got your first chest. Use the
/\ key on the door and enter. Make your way down the stairs and to the exit in
the southwest. This next puzzle is pretty easy. You have to make sure all the
weight switches are red. Just make your way counter-clockwise make sure all the
weight switches are red and you should easily do this.

Congrats! You have defeated Scar of the Land.

This dungeon is probably one of the most confusing and hardest to explain
because of the many up and down stairs there are. Anyways, head northeast and
into the next room. This room has four exits. Head up into the north northeast
exit. Grab the chest containing a flash grenade. Go back into the previous room
and enter the other northeast exit.

Head upstairs, and then downstairs. Head south and up some more stairs. Go down
the stairs and then south to grab a chest containing a solar nut. Head back
north, go past the stairs and then head southwest and make your way up some more
stairs and then down into the hole. Head southwest and grab the three chests for
a silver coin, a life fruit, and the Swordsman Solar Gun frame. Not a bad loot
eh? Head all the way back into the previous room and to the first stairs you
went down.

Go north and grab the chest. Go back south and go up two pairs of stairs and
then down one. On this level, there are two chests, grab them for a red apple
and a bomb. Go down some stairs, up some stairs, and then downstairs and exit
through the northeast. Continue through this room and exit into the next.

Go northeast and then up some stairs and then downstairs. Grab the chest with a
red apple inside and backtrack to the entrance. Go southeast and then up some
stairs. Go down the stairs and then up another stairs. Go and grab the chest
containing a change grenade. Go back up the stairs and then back down the stairs
and head northwest. Grab the empty gourd from the chest, and then head upstairs.
Go directly northwest and upstairs to grab a chest with a red apple inside.

Go downstairs once, and then upstairs twice to grab the chest. Go back
downstairs and grab the next chest with a banana inside. Go southwest and
downstairs. Make your way up three sets of stairs and grab the chest with a
speed nut before entering the Undead.

~ Trap! ~

Again you have to defeat the armor. The same rules apply to the past armors,
except this one is partial to flame. Equip the Flame lens and go to town on the
armor. After you have defeated him, grab the chest and backtrack all the way
back to the area with the four exits.

Head into the south northeast exit and leave. Follow the path and exit.

Congrats! You have defeated Forgotten Tomb!

Go back into Forgotten Tomb and teleport to the beginning. Exit the dungeon. Go
northwest into Scar of the Land. Teleport back to the beginning and exit the
dungeon. Head northeast and into Valley of Ice.

Enter the dungeon and head northwest. Listen to the Otenko Panel. Move the south
block northeast, then northwest. Go up the stairs and push the other block
northeast, and then walk around, melting the previous block, and push it
northwest. Go along the path and enter. Make your way to the next room. Melt the
ice and pick up the Tornado Solar Gun frame. Go back to the first room in the
dungeon.

Listen to the Otenko Panel's advice. Head southeast from the Otenko Panel and
push the ice block southeast. Put the other ice block northeast and then
southeast. Climb up the hill and head down the path into the next area. Head
northeast and enter the next room. Grab the /\ key and head back to the first
room in this dungeon.

Head up to the top of the hill and use the /\ key to open the door. Grab the
north chest for an ice nut, and ignore the other chest. It is a monster chest.
Head southeast and into the cave. Exit through the other door and into the next
level. Grab the ice nut to the east part of the area. Make your way to the very
south of the area and exit through the corridor.

Here we have an interesting puzzle. Push the southeast block northwest. Go
upstairs and push the block southeast, and then southwest. Melt the northeast
block. Push the remaining block southwest, then southeast, then northeast. Head
upstairs and take the newly formed path and exit into the trap.

~ Trap! ~

This is a pretty easy trap. Just kill all the enemies, including the underwater
arm things. Grab the two chests, one containing the [] key and make your way
back to the beginning area.

Go down one hill and then southeast. Open the door with the [] key and enter.
Exit the dungeon.

Congrats! You have completed Valley of Ice.

Incorrect, sir. Head northeast after Valley of Ice, and then go southwest down
the north path. Stop when the path opens up to three different ways. Cover the
sunlight sensor and then look at your map. A new dungeon has appeared to the
west. Enter it.

After entering, read the inscription. Creepy, eh...Head up the stairs and go
northwest into the room. Follow either path and you will end up at the same
exit. Enter it. There is a pretty simple puzzle. Push the southwest block
northeast once, and do the same to the next block. Follow the corridor to a room
with a chest inside for the /\ key. Backtrack to the first room and head
northeast.

Grab the chest in the northeast for a red apple, and then head up the stairs.
Use the /\ key on the blue door in the northeast and enter it. Follow the path
and into the next area. Head northeast and into the next room where a puzzle
lies. Push the southwest block northwest twice, and then southwest once. Push
the other block southwest once, and northwest twice to open the door. Enter it.
Grab the chest for the [] key and go back to the room where you opened the door
with the /\ key. Open the door to the northwest for a trap.

~ Trap! ~

You must defeat the Axe. Same rules apply to this Axe as the previous Axe. Grab
the chest after you defeat him. Head northwest and into the room to grab the
coveted Javelin Solar Gun frame. Now leave the dungeon through the entrance.

From the beginning, listen to Otenko's advice. It's a good idea to use some
speed nuts, as they help you avoid falling off. Head southeast, then northeast,
then northwest to pick up a green apple. Head northeast, and pick up the speed
nut. Head back southwest and go southeast twice. Follow the path. Grab the chest
for an empty gourd. Go southeast, and then northeast. Grab the chest for a
redshroom. Go up the stairs and grab the tiptoe nut from the chest. Go back down
the steps and head northwest. Follow the path. Continue up the stairs and out of
the wind. Whew...

Grab the chest for a speed nut. Enter the next room and make your way counter-
clockwise and grab the chest containing a solar nut. Head south and grab the
chest for a redshroom. Listen to the Otenko Panel. Eat a redshroom and enter the
shaft. You will appear on the other side. Go north and enter the next room. Head
southeast. Listen to the Otenko Panel. Maneuver your way through to two doors on
the northeast, and get the chests containing a speed nut, and redshroom. Head
back to the room two rooms ago. Head up the stairs, grab the chest and eat a
redshroom to pass through the vent.

Head northeast and up the stairs into the next room. Follow the corridor and
leave through the other door. Grab the two chests containing a redshroom and a
bomb. Continue along the path and pick up another redshroom. Do not go into the
vent yet. Go southwest and then southeast and enter the next room to pick up a
banana. Go back to the previous room and now shrink and enter another shaft.
Exit south. Make your way around the blocks and put the block southwest into the
gap. Go down the stairs to the southeast and pull the lever.

Go up the stairs, and then down a couple of stairs. Get on the elevator and go
up. Go around the wall and past the vent to grab a tiptoe nut. Move southeast
and shrink to go into the vent. Go south to get a red apple. Continue downstairs
and pick up 4 scan grenades. Go back upstairs, shrink, and then enter the vent.
Continue along the path for cut scene.

Attack Sabata. Just try and avoid his attacks. Soon another cut scene will
appear. Head northeast. Go into the middle room and pick up the bombs.

~ Trap! ~

Here, you must destroy a couple of Golems. A pretty easy trap if you ask me.
After you are done, grab the chest for the Earth Solar Gun lens. Go north and
follow the path into another trap. Defeat the enemies and then grab the chests.
Leave through the southeast.

Go into the far east room for a puzzle. Listen to the Otenko Panel. It's very
simple arithmetic. Move the 2 block next to the x block, and then the divide
block next to the two to pass the puzzle. Grab the chest for some green apples.
Now the next area is very confusing. Just keep riding the platforms until you
reach a path and enter the room. Head northeast, grabbing all the chests in the
entire area. One of them is a mimic, so shoot each chest before you grab them.
These chests are 5 bombs, a banana, a speed nut, and a see-all nut. After you
grab them, run back past the Solar Barrier, and go up the stairs.

Go southeast, and grab the chest containing a green apple. Continue onward to
the southeast. Grab the chest with a couple of bombs in it, and head northeast
up some stairs. Open up the two treasure chests for some scan grenades, and a
redshroom. Move northeast, and go up the stairs leading to a green chest. Open
it for the Quad Solar Gun battery. Backtrack down the stairs, and then up the
stairs directly north of you. Move through the rooms and enter a door to ride an
elevator up.
Exit southwest and listen to the Otenko Panel. Earth lens the plant and make it
grow. Go up the stairs. Go northwest and then northeast to the door. Make your
way up the stairs and then turn southeast and go up another pair. Grab the chest
containing an x2 carrot. Go through the corridor to the southeast and listen to
Otenko's speech.

~ South Puzzle ~

Continue southeast and up the stairs. Push the block northeast, then the next
block also northeast. This will light up one of the female Cockatrice's heads,
and all the doors will open. Head down the stairs and northeast to the east
cockatrice puzzle.

~ East Puzzle ~

Before you do anything, destroy the middle mirror in the southeast set of
mirrors. Now, turn both of the mirrors in this aisle. In middle aisle, turn the
middle mirror. In the northwest aisle, turn the most southwest mirror. Puzzle
solved. Grab the chest before you leave and move on to the north puzzle.

~ North Puzzle ~

From the entrance, walk north and up the stairs heading northeast. Destroy that
mirror. The male cockatrice is all the way to the east. Make your way there and
turn the mirror in front of him. Follow where the beam goes and turn that
mirror. Do that three more times until you have solved the puzzle. Grab the
three chests and then head to the west puzzle.

~ West Puzzle ~

This one is a little hard to describe. There are four male cockatrices, and from
the southwest, they are 1, 2, 3, and 4. In front of 3 is a mirror. Turn it.
Follow where the beam goes and turn that mirror also. Do this twice more. After
the last mirror you turned, follow the beam and destroy the mirror that gets in
the way. Head to the middle area.

Before you go inside the door on the southwest side, grab the two chests on the
northeast side, and grab the life fruit in the chest on the roof. Now enter the
door and ride the elevator after the speech.

Grab the chests and head northeast into the door. Watch the cut scene.

~ Boss: Carmilla Banshee the Deathbringer ~

This is going to be the most annoying battles. First, Carmilla will shoot little
lightning balls and you have to adjust the mirrors so that it goes back at her.
If you master that, this battle will be pretty easy, but that is a very hard
thing to do. Anyways, after that, she will start trying to swipe you with her
tail. Just avoid this by running northwest and southeast, back and forth. Later,
she will summon some Cockatrice's. Kill these. A very hard battle if you make
mistakes. You can hit her at any time with your gun, but it does very little
damage.

~ Escape ~

After you destroy Carmilla, her head will fall off and you will have her coffin.
You must bring it back to the square where you fought Sabata. So go southeast
until you get on the elevator. Exit the room and head southwest. Go back the way
you came before you did the first cockatrice puzzle. Go through the exit and
head downstairs. Make your way along the path and head downstairs once again. Go
southwest and exit to outside. Go southwest all the way and then southeast.
Enter the room to the other elevator.

Exit the room and head to the beginning of this area. You can go ahead and fall
through the ground if you want. Make it outside and jump on the platform. Do not
go downstairs, but go along the upper level and jump on the next platform. At
the next stop, go downstairs and jump on the platform. At the next stop, get
off, and then jump onto the next platform. Jump off of it at the next platform,
and make your way up the stairs.

Almost there. Go southwest into the trap area, and make your way southwest to
the gate. Exit through the southwest gate. Go southwest and into the square
where you fought Sabata. Take the coffin and place it inside the Pile Driver.

~ Pile Driver: Carmilla Banshee the Deathbringer ~

This is almost like a typical Pile Driver fight. She will attack you with homing
lightning balls. She will also shoot a circle of them at all directions once in
a while. Half-way through the fight, she will close the coffin lid. Listen to
what Otenko says and hide the sensor from the Sun for a little bit. When
Carmilla gets careless, blast the Sun back into the sensor and start your attack
again. Soon she will be dead.

After the cut scene, make your way back down to Earth by backtracking through
Sol City.

Head over the previously locked bridge. Go northeast and up the many steps. Head
northwest and enter House of Darkness.

Head up the stairs and through the door. Grab the chest containing a red apple
and head to the next door in the northeast. Go northwest and then southwest and
through the corridor. Grab the chest with a red apple inside and go into the
door for a puzzle.

Push the east block northwest twice. Push the box that is on top of another box
northwest. Push the box that is now uncovered northeast twice, and then
northwest once. Push the box at the top of the stairs northeast twice. Go up the
big stairs and along the newly formed path. Go through the door and then go
through another door into the next room. Grab the /\ key and head back to the
room with the large stairs and then up them. Use the /\ key to unlock the door.
Enter it.

Head northeast and then go down the stairs and go into the door on the northwest
side for a simple puzzle. Push the northwest block northeast once. Push the
other box northwest once, and then northeast twice. Go across the new path and
grab the [] key. Go back to the previous room and use the key on the blue door.
Enter it. Go over to the platform and use it to go to the upper level. Grab all
the chests. One of them is a mimic so shoot every chest to find it. Go down the
platform again and grab the chest. Move up the stairs, and through the door.

Move up the giants stairs and into the little enclosed space where there is sun
coming from the roof. Stand on the square southwest of it, and fall down. Grab
the chest and move the block southeast to get out. Grab the remaining chests
(one being a mimic) in the room and head southwest into the previous room. Go
northwest and into the next room through the door.

Go through the next room and enter the door to the north. Before entering the
Undead door, grab the two chests in this room. Now enter the door.

~ Trap! ~

Another Armor. The same rules except this time he can charge at you. Quickly
defeat him and get your prize. You can go all the way back to the second room
and exit northeast to leave the dungeon, or just use an empty gourd and go back
in and head northeast to leave.

Go up the stairs and into the next room. Head directly north and enter the room.
Head all the way northeast avoiding all the flame throwers and fire pits. Go
through the path, grabbing the see-all nut from the chest. Continue onward and
pick up the /\ key from the chest at the top. Backtrack into the previous room.
Head to the corridor in the northeast, freezing the flame pit to get through.
Equip some grenades and bomb the hell out of the little bok standing on the
weight switch. Go southeast and into the now unlocked room. Grab the chest that
contains the Juggler frame. Backtrack into the second room of the dungeon.

Go northeast across the path. Head south and grab the chest containing a see-all
nut. Open the locked door with the /\ key and enter. Make your way up the steps
and grab the bomb from the chest. Head southeast. If you want go down the steps,
freezing the fire pits, and grab the flash grenade from the chest at the bottom.
Otherwise, head into the next room.

Go down the stairs and wait for the floating platform to come. Jump on it, and
grab the chest at the other stop. Jump back on the platform and at next stop go
up the steps. Go down the steps and past the next exit. Go southeast and into
the next room for a little puzzle.

This is a unique puzzle so far. You must reflect your light into a switch on the
other side of the gap. Head to the most southeast part you can go, and wait for
the mirror to go ahead of you. Hit it and it will reflect to the other mirror
and you will unlock the door. Go into the door. Grab the silver coin from the
chest. Head back into the previous room and into the exit you ignored. Grab the
chest containing a bomb and head northeast through the flame throwers and golems
to the Undead room.

~ Trap! ~

Another defeat the golems trap. Pretty easy, and if you do not know how to kill
Golems by now, you need to throw this game into a lava pit. Grab your prize. Use
an empty gourd to leave the dungeon.

Head northeast into the castle. Go southeast and shoot the mirror with a shot to
open the locked door. Enter the door. Make your way southwest to get the chest
containing a see-all nut. Go back northeast and into the next room. Grab the
chest from the northeast of the room and then head into the exit. Jump on the
platform.

Quickly shoot all the switches, and a chest will appear. Grab it for a life
fruit. Continue southwest and outside. Go southwest and grab the chest
containing a set of bombs. Make your way up the stairs. Continue up another set
of stairs and grab the chest for 4 bombs. One of the chests is a monster so
shoot them to find out. Continue along the path and up the stairs. Keep on going
up the stairs, grabbing the chests as you go. Make it to the roof.

On the roof, make your way to the northeast part. Shoot a shot at the mirror to
the switch to make a chest appear. Grab the /\ key from it. Go along the
southeast side and grab the green chest for a silver key. Back track all the way
down to the last roof you were on. Head northeast a little bit, but then take
the corridor northwest all the way to the blue door. Unlock it and enter.

Make your way through the linear path, grabbing the three chests along the way.
Shoot the reflecting mirror to open the locked door in the room a little ways
back. Backtrack all the way back to the open roof. Go southeast and turn
northeast into the room. Enter the previously locked door. Follow the corridor.
Open the chests for a silver coin and a [] key. Backtrack to the open roof once
again. Go northwest and then southwest into the stairs that go downstairs.

Head northeast and into the next room. Grab the chest at the very northeast for
the Gradius Solar Gun frame. Go back into the previous room and turn southeast.
Move the block northeast. Move into the next room and go northeast and unlock
the door. Enter it. Go all the way northeast and down the stairs into the hole.
Go into the Undead room for a trap.

~ Trap! ~

An axe. A cockatrice. Kill them. Same rules apply to these as they have
throughout the game. Get your prize and make your way all the way back to door
you unlocked with the [] key.

Jump on the teleport, and then exit to the northeast.

Head northeast and into the next room. Slide across the ice and into the next
room. Hug the southeast wall and slide across the ice. Go into the next room to
the southeast. Do your best and pick up the three chests in this room. It should
be pretty easy. Afterwards, head to the exit in the southwest. There are two
chests in this room that are pretty easy to get also. After you grab them, head
into the northwest exit and into the next room. Slide across the ice into the
next room where a puzzle awaits.

First, move both blocks northwest. Push the north block southwest, then
northwest. Push the other block northeast and then northwest into the hole. Go
back to the other block and push it northeast. Make your way across the newly
formed path, and enter the next door.

For this next room, make sure you have between one and six blocks of sun light.
Otherwise there will be no bridges. Make your way across the southern bridge and
enter the next room for the Swordmaster Solar Gun frame. Exit the room and go up
the other bridge to another chest with a change grenade inside. Exit. Go
northeast and into the next room. Make your way up the stairs and grab the chest
for a bomb. Go back down the stairs and exit into the next room.

Here is an easy puzzle that you must solve. Melt the southwest block of the two
northern blocks. Push the remaining two blocks northeast. Go up the stairs and
across the newly formed path. Go into the next room. Go upstairs and into the
next room. Open the chest for a solar nut. Make your way into the previous room.
Continue into the Undead room in the southwest part of the room.

~ Trap! ~

This is a somewhat challenging trap. You must defeat all the Kraken's in the
room. They are the creatures that hide under freezing water and throw balls of
ice at you. To defeat them, use the Javelin frame. Kill them one by one until
you are done. Grab your prize and leave the room.

Grab the chest in this room for a speed nut. Make your way to the southeast
exit. In the next room, make your way to the northeast into the next room. Leave
the dungeon.

Congrats! You have completed Water Demon's Cage.

After the cut scene, go southeast and grab the chest containing an empty gourd.
Head behind the stairs and grab the green chest for the Cloud Lens. Go upstairs
and grab the chest for a gold apple. Here you have the choice of four different
paths, each to the bosses you faced before.

~ Land Tower ~

Enter and follow the path into the next room. Head up four sets of stairs and
head northeast, and down another set. Go into the door. Head to the northwest
side of the room and light the light. Head back a little bit and get on the
platform. Grab the O Key. Backtrack to the top of the four stairs you went up at
the beginning. Head southwest down the steps, unlock the door and enter.

Shoot the light to brighten up the room a little. Follow the corridor and exit
this room. Go northwest a little bit and enter a door. Continue on northeast.
Pull down the first lever. Exit and make your way along the path and into a
door. Step on the weight switches to summon some chests. Grab them and then
backtrack into the room with the levers. Pull down the other lever.

Exit the room, and then exit the next room. The chest is a mimic. Make your way
downstairs and light the light. Go back upstairs, and continue going upstairs
and into a new room. Make your way downstairs and light the light. Continue
southeast and into the room.

First, pull down the three lever. Exit the room and go southwest and follow the
path. Grab the chests in here. Backtrack to the last room. Now pull down 1, 2,
and 3. Exit and go southwest and follow the path.

~ Trap! ~

Kill everyone in the room. It should be pretty easy. Grab the chests and then
leave.

Backtrack to the room with the levers. Pull down 2, 3, and 4. Leave the room and
head southwest. Follow the path and into the next room. Go up the stairs. Now go
down the stairs and make your way southeast. Enter the first door to the
northeast. Light the room up. Go up the stairs and push the block on the same
level northeast. Go down the stairs you are on and push the block northeast
twice times. Use the newly created pass and enter the next door. Go down the
stairs and push the block onto the weight switch. Go up the stairs and into the
next room.

Go down the stairs and south. Turn the light on. Head back up north and into the
most north room. Open up the chest for some bombs. Exit and enter the next door
down. Light the room up. Before you input anything, press select and check your
time. Enter that amount into the code. Head into the now unlocked door. Hug the
wall and then light up the room. Enter the closest room and grab the chest. Go
back into the previous rooms, and climb the large stairs. Go down the stairs to
the southeast and grab the four chests. Make sure all your batteries are filled
up and head up the stairs.

~ Boss: The Count of Groundsoaking Blood ~

This is pretty much the same as the first fight with him. He is slightly harder.
He will summon spiders as well as summon spikes from the ground to surround him.
You cannot defeat him by moving into the sunlight, as he will just dodge it.
Quickly dispense of him and listen to him whine. If you forgot how to beat him,
just see the Bloodrust Mansion section.

~ Fire Tower ~

Go through the corridor and enter the dungeon. Head northeast and pull the
lever. Go to the west and ride the platform to the other side of the lava. Go up
two sets of stairs and into the next room. Make your way from the stairs to
another set of stairs that go downward and into the previous room. Go down the
stairs and then push the rock block southwest and into the gap. Cross it, and
pull the lever you pulled before down.

Backtrack the way you came, up the stairs, down the stairs. Go down the stairs
and into the level where the lava used to be. There are 4 chests that you should
pick up before continuing, so go ahead and grab those. After you are done, go up
the stairs in the middle and into the next room. Grab the chest in this room. Go
into the southeast exit and grab the chest. Move back into the previous room and
head southwest and into the next room.

There is an outline of something on the ground. Stand in it and then light the
purple light near it. Go into the room into the southeast. Go down the stairs.
Gather up the two chests in this room and then head into room in the northeast.
Pull down the lever and the land will shift. Go up the two sets of stairs and
into the next room. Go down the stairs and head straight southwest. Follow the
corridor and grab gold apple from the chest. Backtrack into the middle lot and
head northwest.

In this area, there are two chests. Go up the stairs and head to the west to get
the two chests, one which contains a speed nut and the other some scan grenades.
Head northeast and up the stairs. Go downstairs and into the room. Quickly make
your way through here and into the next room. Follow the corridor and make sure
you grab the green chest at the very north of the room where the flame throwers
are at, which has a life fruit inside. Head southeast and into the next room.

Grab the chest with the empty gourd in it and leave the room. Grab the next set
of chests in this room and head north and into the next room. Grab the two
chests in this room and then go back to the previous room. Make your way up the
stairs and into the next area. Head down the stairs and southwest through the
flamer throwers. Exit this area and into the next.

Head up the many steps. On about the third level, push the block southwest. Head
back down stairs and to the block. Push it southeast and grab all the chests.
Head back up the stairs and this time exit through the final set of stairs.
Follow the path, avoiding the flames; grab the three chests, which contain a
speed nut, and some grenades. Head northeast and into the Immortal Lair.

~ Boss: Iron Giant from Inferno, Iron Golem Muspell ~

This boss is almost the same as the last time you encountered him. He will start
as three little golems. This time when he hits the ground, it will create a ring
of fire around him, and instead of rocks falling from the sky, fire balls will.
Make him fall into the lava a number of times. When he has about 1/4 of his life
left, he will start to resist you pushing him into the lava. At this mark you
just have to keep pummeling him with your gun. Soon enough he will be dead and
his tower will be destroyed.

~ Water Tower ~

Head into the next room, and grab the seven different chests. When you do that,
go all the way up the stairs and into the next room. Go southeast all the way
and pick up the chest. Go southwest and melt the first two blocks on the
northwest side for six grenades. Backtrack and head southwest when you can. Eat
a redshroom. I would personally just continue on to the next vent to save
shrooms, but you can get the chests that are in this area if you like. Make
slide northeast and go up the huge hill into the next area.

Head downstairs and southeast. Grab the speed nut and head back northwest and
into the corridor for the next area. Head your way south. Move the ice block
northeast, and then southeast. It should be pretty apparent now how to get to
the next exit. Do so. Go southwest and grab the chest for a red apple. Head
across the way. Make your way so that you are northeast of the ice blocks. Melt
the northeast one. Exit through the southeast. Exit this room through the
northeast. Melt the block of ice in the northwest for a tiptoe nut. Continue
along the path and through the exit to get four scan grenades. Backtrack to the
previous room and make your way up the stairs.

Grab the chest with the solar nut inside. Continue that way and grab another
chest. Make your way around the level, and melt the ice block to grab a flash
grenade. Go north and upstairs. Walk along the path and then down the stairs.
Grab the two chests and then pull the lever. Go back to the previous room, and
head to the lattice that was previously locked. Slide across the ice from the
other door. Make your way to the stairs in the room next to the bank. Go up
those stairs and then down the stairs at the end of the path. Go northwest
across the ice, and then northeast. Go up the stairs to the next room and then
go up again to another room. Go down the stairs and make your way to the exit in
the north. Here is a nice puzzle.

Push the north block southwest and then southeast. Push the now middle block
northeast. Push the only block you have not touched northwest. Cross the newly
formed path and into the next room. Head southeast and grab the chest. Go back
northeast and grab the chest that is inside the block of ice. Head up the many
stairs. Grab the two chests before you go into the immortal and do so.

~ Boss: The Lifefreezing Silver Wolf, Snow Wolf Garmr ~

Like the other bosses, he is just slightly harder then his last form. He is
slightly invisible, which is the main thing that has changed. Equip some bomb
grenades, and your Flame lens and go to work on the wolf. He will be dead in no
time.

~ Wind Tower ~

Enter the Wind Tower through the corridor. Jump on the platform to the next
stop. Repeat. Jump off the platform and grab the chest. Jump on the platform and
then grab the chests at the next stop. Jump back on the platform and then at the
next stop jump off and then onto the next platform. Jump off, grab the chest,
and then go up stairs into the next area.

Go northeast, and into the door. Make your way up the stairs. Follow the path
and up the stairs. Grab the chest, and continue upstairs. Enter the door, and
then follow the path. Go downstairs and exit through the door. Follow the path.
Grab all the chests on the way. Go up the stairs and on the many platforms to
the top. At the top, follow the path and go up the stairs to the next area.

This part is kind of hard to describe completely, so I'm just going to sum it
up. Shoot the cockatrice with something that does not hurt them, and when they
shoot back, make sure the mirrors reflect the shot into the five cockatrice
statues. After you do this, exit through the now unlocked door and pull the
lever.

Make your way southwest, grabbing the chests along the way. Make your up the
many stairs. Make sure you grab the green chest for a silver coin on the way. Go
up all the way up to the stairs that lead into the next area and go through it.

In this next area, all you need to do is shoot the lamps and turn them on. After
that you can go up the stairs and enter the Immortal area.

~ Boss: Carmilla Banshee the Deathbringer ~

She is the same as before, but it is harder to do critical damage with the
lightning bolts. Her tail swings in a different way. Other then that, I do not
see a difference. I would let loose with a bunch of grenades to quickly kill her
and go on to the Queen.
After you do all the towers, all the seals are broken and you can continue
upstairs. Do so. Continue upstairs. Go up the next set of stairs right next to
you. Open the chest for the Quint battery. Head back downstairs. Pick up all the
chests in the room, and then head south and up the stairs to the next level.

This room, maneuver your way through grabbing all the chests. Grab the life
fruit from the green chest, and then make your way upstairs.

Make your way through this room with the 9 on the ground and head upstairs. The
answer to the puzzle is 5 Reds, 3 Blues. Head upstairs after the door is
unlocked and go upstairs. Go past the 8 on the ground and head upstairs again.
The answer to the puzzle is 2 Reds, 5 Yellows, and 4 Blues. Go up the stairs.

Go to the far door for a chest. Backtrack and go into the other door. Go up the
stairs and make sure you have some sun on your meter so the bridges appear. Go
northwest for a silver coin. Make your way north getting all the chests on the
way. Head up the stairs.

~ Boss: Sabata the Dark Child ~

After the long speech, the battle between Sun and Moon begins. Use a speed-nut
and continue using them until you have beaten Sabata. The key to beating Sabata
is to walk up on him when he is looking away. If he spots you, he will attack
you and will not let you attack him. So stay out of his sight :) He will attack
you with a shot, a revolving spread, and will eventually split up into many
Sabatas. After you defeat him, he will give you another speech, and you will
have to face him, but this time it is dark. Use the same strategy and defeat him
with ease. Head southwest and through the door. Go up the stairs while grabbing
the chests. Enter the final room, and watch the cut scene.

~ Boss: Hel the Queen of Darkness ~

After the long cut scene, you will fight Hel. I would say to pretty much just
avoid her attacks until Master Otenko has the Generators setup. When Otenko is
surrounded by Dark Matter, spread shoot him to get them off him. The Queen
attacks with ice breath, fire balls from the sky, and lightning bolts that turn
you into stone. In a matter of minutes Otenko will be done. Go to the center and
hold down B. When the arrow turns white, release and unload onto the Queen. She
will then appear into her second form.

Sabata will save you from the Queen's hand, and you two will fight together to
kill the Queen. All you have to is kill the Queen's four hands, and then use the
Wild Bunch attack. The Queen will move side to side, but it should be no
problem. Repeat this five times and the Queen should be dead. Enjoy the ending,
Solar Boy! :) Oh yea, and when Otenko is about to die, use the same button you
use to gather sunlight and you will save him. You must be getting active
sunlight, or else he will just go into your gun and not be saved. The End.

~ Single ~

This is the standard battery that you start with. Can hold one bar of light.
~ Double ~

Can hold two bars of light. You find this in Bloodrust Mansion

~ Triple ~

Find this in the Stench Forest. This battery can hold three bars of light

~ Quad ~

You can find this one in Sol City. Can hold four bars of light

~ Quint ~

Can hold five bars of light. Found in the Dark Castle

~ Astro ~

You get this after the Solar Tree is pink (killing mucho enemies), and
is finished growing. To make the Tree grow, you have to keep planting fruits.
The leaves have to be pink. I grew about five different plants, and had 2000
sunlight units when I went received the Astro battery on my second time through.

~ Chaos ~

Can be used only with the Dark Gun. Received after beating Boktai on hard.

A grenade that is grown at the Solar Tree. The more sunlight it gets, the more
powerful it is.

~ Flash ~

This grenade knocks every undead in the room out. Very useful for the 'Kill all
without being noticed' traps.

~ Scan ~

Scans the area for objects that are hidden from view.

~ Rising Sun ~

Makes it so that sunlight is shone in all places. Kills undead since they are
hurt by sunlight.

~ Change ~

Turns Klorofolun into light particles.

 Azure Sky Tower
===============================================================================

This is a very hard section to coach. Each level seems to be a preset one
determined at random, and which reward you get depends on the emblem you get.

You are required to have the Frost and Flame lens to get into the Tower. When
you enter, the Silvery Knight will talk to you, and give you an emblem.

There is a boss every four levels. You will face a sword, an axe, and krakan and
then the White Knight if you have all the emblems.

~ Silvery White Knight ~

If you have all of the emblems when you enter the tower, you get to fight the
Silvery White Knight at the top of the tower. He is the same as other armors,
except he adapts to your lens. I used Sol, and he adapted to it, so I used
Flame, and then he adapted to that. After he adapted I used Frost.

You can fight your friend in this section. Up to 4 players. You start with 1
coin. Defeating enemies will give you more coins. If you kill a player, he will
drop his coins. You get to use whatever you have gotten in the game.

Basically what the name describes. You can trade items to your buddy. Certain
items are not transferable though.

You can get emblems from friends. You do not have to trade. For example, if you
have emblem A, and your friend has emblem B, and then you trade, both of you
will have emblem A and B.

The first time you beat the game, you get the Dark lens. On the second way
trough, you get the frame. On hard you get the Chaos Battery.

You receive this item from the two times that you defeat the Count. I have heard
that you also get tonniar .rM if you fail to save Otenko at the end of the game.
If you are good at word games, you probably figured out that tonniar .rM is Mr.
Rainnot backwards. You can change tonniar .rM into Mr. Rainnot by standing at
the Solar Tree when the sun rises and getting the Solar Dew. It reverts back to
tonniar .rM at the next next sunset. You can also change it by beating the game.

tonniar .rM makes it so that you have two less bars of sunlight available, and
Mr. Rainnot does the opposite. It lasts for a full day even if you do not have
sunlight available.
The only places you can use these items is when Otenko is following you, which
occurs outside of dungeons.

In Abyss, there is a code that is the classic Konami Code up, up, down, down,
left, right, left right, B, A on an inscription. Press that code in that room to
gather a life fruit.
