    Welcome to my very first Walkthrough/Faq. As you can see this walkthrough is
    based on Sonic Battle. I coved everything up to the end of the Sonic The Hedge
    Hog Episode. You can always email ne with new suggestions or some extra tips and
    information. So please enjoy my walkthrough and good luck with your game.

    (4) The Main Menu
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    
    --==++ Story Mode ++==--
    
    This is basically a story that you have to follow and you will be given roles
    throughout the story. After you beat one story another one will open up. There
    are a total of 8 stories. You can gain Captured Data and have matches that you
    will automatically set up with someone to battle.
    
    --==++ Battle Mode ++==--
    
    This mode is where you have a very short battle against an opponent. You will
    be able to choose the character you use and the character the opponent uses. You
    can press L to access a set of maps that you can  choose from to pick the playing
    field. You can press R to change the rules of the match.
    
    --==++ Challenge Mode ++==--
    
    This mode allows you to choose one character and a difficulty. Then you will go
    though a series of different battles. You will be given points for many different
    things. At the ending you will have a total score and be given a rank.
    
    --==++ Training Mode ++==--
    
    You can choose any character and any rival to battle with. You can also set the
    things that the rival can do. Here you can take as many hits as you want without
    dying. This will be a good place to pratice different techniques and combos.
    
    --==++ Battle Record ++==--
    
    This will show all of your gameplay statistics. It will show the most used character
    and the least used character. It will also show your total play time and the
    percentage of completage your technique list is at.
    
    --==++ Options ++==--
    
    You can select your language here and you will have a wide variety of choices. You
    may also try out the Sound Test and you can delete your Save Data if you like.

    (5) Using Emerl
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    
    Emerl is the main character Of Sonic Battle. Emerl is capable of copying and
    learning new moves and techniques from other characters. Therefore Emerl is
    your own customizable character. He can learn moves by putting Captured Data
    into Emerl. You can also change his Fighting Pose and Color.
    
    --==++ Skill Points ++==--
    
    At the beginning of the game you will be given 30 Skill Points. These Skill Points
    will allow you to hold Captured Data. So the more Skill Points you have, the more
    and more power Captured Data you can hold. You can have a maxinum of 500
    Skill Points. After each match, you will be awarded with either 1, 2 or 5 Skill
    Points. To get 1 Skill Point, you will have to be KOed at least once. To obtain 2
    Skill Points, you have to survive without dying once. To recieve 5 Skill Points, you
    will have to complete the battle without getting hit once.
    
    --==++ Different Skills ++==--
    
    After each battle you will obtain skill points and at least one Captured Data. You will
    recieve a skill from everyone that participated in the battle except for Emerl. Of course
    Emerl has to be in the battle to obtain the skills. Sometimes you will be given a rare skill,
    it will be either a support skill, color skill or an ultimate skill. Ultimate skills are very hard
    to come by. To get them easily you should train in Virtual Training in Emerl's Story.
    
    --==++ Equiping Skills ++==--
    
    After you finished with Tails' tutorial, you will be able to equip your own skills. Once your
    in the Emerl Menu, choose Edit Skills. There will be different tabs for different skills to
    use and in each tab there are many categories to choose from. Once your in a category, you
    can choose a skill to equip if you have enough skill points. The power on the card will represent
    how strong the skill is and the speed on the card will represent how fast your skill performs.
    Each star on the card will represent 5 skill points.
    
    Controls For The Emerl Menu:
    
    D-Pad: Used to move around in options and techniques menus
    A: Select things in the options and techniques menus
    B: Return to previous menus
    
    Options On The Main Menu:
    
    Skill Edit:
    Memory Change: Allows you to save up to 3 Emerl Configuration
    Skill List: Shows all of your capture data and a percentage of completage
    Skill Exchange: I see no use for this option
    Return To Game: Allows you to return to the current map

    In the Emerl Menu, go to Edit Skills and you should find all of you skills.

    Run Skill: Determines how fast you run (Use D-Pad to moveone direction)
    Dash Skill: Determines how fast you dash (Double Tap one direction)
    Jump Skill: Determines how high and fight you can jump (Tap A Once)
    Air Action: Determines what Air Action Emerl uses (Tap A in Mid-Air)
    Guard Skill: Determines how much damage will be reduced (Tap L)
    Heal Skill: Determine how fast and much health and SP you regain (Hold L)

    1st Attack: Determines the 1st attack Emerl uses in his combo (Tap B)
    2nd Attack: Determines the 2nd attack Emerl uses in his combo (B + B)

    Heavy Atk: Determines the form of Emerl's Heavy Atk (B+B+B+B / B+Towards Enemy)
    Upper Atk: Determines the from of Emerl's Upper Atk (B+Away From Enemy)
    Dash Attack: Determines what Dash Attack Emerl uses (B While Dashing)
    Air Attack: Determines what Air Attack Emerl uses (B In Mid-Air)
    Aim Atk: Determines what Pursuit Atk Emerl uses (Left/Right When Enemy Is Knocked)

    (6) Main Walkthrough

    --==++ Episode 1: Sonic The Hedgehog ++==--
    
    The game begins with a the beginning cutscene. Once you gain control of Sonic,
    move your arrow to the bottom of the map and click on the white circle. This
    will allow you to go to that location. Currently you are at Emerald Town. Once
    you get to the beach, you will immediatly find a robot. You will decide to
    bring it to Tail's House. You will run into Shadow.

    Opponent: Shadow The Hedgehog
    Game Type: Survival Match (3 Points)
    
    Usually Shadow The Hedgehog is very powerful but in this battle he seriously is
    a pushover. You will be with Sonic and the robot this battle but the robot will
    not move so. Therefore you will be controlling Sonic and this battle is easily
    beaten by keep doing combo attacks.

    -=+ Important Notice +=-
    
    After the battle which you have to win in order to continue, you will be given
    skill points and two cards. One being a Sonic Skill Card and another being a
    Shadow Skill Card. Refer to the Using Emerl section for more information.
    ===============================================================================
    
    After you get your skill points and captured data, Tails will come outside and
    asked about Shadow. He also said that he will fix the robot for you. So while
    Sonic is waiting, he decided to go out and find Rouge. Now proceed to the south
    of the map and go back to the Emerald Beach. You will meet Rouge The Bat.

    ==============
    
    Opponent: Rouge The Bat
    Rules: Survival Match (3 Points)
    
    Rouge is a little bit better than Shadow but still isn't really that hard. This
    time the robot isn't by your side to take hits. JUst watch out for her wings
    that allow her to fly. Just use combo moves and special moves to finish her.
    
    =========
    
    After you defeat her, another battle will commence this time a 5 point one.

    ==============
    
    Opponent: Rouge The Bat
    Game Type: Survival Match (5 Points)
    
    This time when you fight her, she will be more agressive in her attacks but
    won't fly as often. Just do the same moves as the last battle.
    
    =========
    
    Rouge The Bat will finally give up and run away. This opens up the Tail's Lab
    and then you should proceed to the lab. A robot will appear but not the one you
    found. It's grey instead of orange and it is not the real version.

    ==============
    
    Opponent: Grey Fake Robot
    Game Type: Survival Match (5 Points)
    
    This battle will be the easiest battle you had so far. The robot is super slow,
    so just do combo attacks or to make the match go faster, do special attacks.
    
    =========
    
    After the battle, Tails and the real robot will come out. Tails will tell you
    that the robot is powered by Chaos Emeralds and it can copy techniques by just
    observing them or getting hit by them. To test the robot out, Tails decides
    that you should try 5 Heavy Attacks on the robot.

    ==============
    
    Opponent: The Robot
    Game Type: Time Match (2 Minutes)
    
    During the match, perform 5 Heavy Attacks by pressing B plus Direction towards
    the enemy. Do this 5 times and you should finish the match.
    
    =========
    
    After this pratice run, you should capture Sonic Flare which is Sonic's Heavy
    Attack. The way he executes it, is by doing a break dance. After you get this
    card, Tails will tell you to try out 5 Upper Attacks on the robot.
    
    ==============
    -=+ Battle +=-
    ==============
    
    Opponent: The Robot
    Game Type: Time Match (2 Minutes)
    
    During the match, perform 5 Upper Attacks by pressing B plus Direction away
    from the enemy. Do this 5 times and you should finish the match
    
    =========
    
    After the pratice run, you should capture the Sonic Updraft which is Sonic's
    Upper Attack. He executes it by doing a reverse somasault. After you get this
    card, Sonic and Tails will decide to do a 10 KO Battle.
    
    ==============
    -=+ Battle +=-
    ==============
    
    Opponent: Tails & The Robot
    Game Type: KO Match (10 KOs)
    
    You don't have to win this battle. The Robot won't do much to you but Tails is
    a very good opponent. Focus on Tails and when he is down, start attacking the
    robot. If you win the battle, you will be given Skill points and some Captured
    Data. To win just use combo attacks and special attacks.
    
    =========
    
    Sonic will think Tails' Lab is too small for the 10 KO battle, so he suggests
    to go to the beach to train more.

    -=+ Important Notice +=-
    
    Now you can finally equip Captured Data onto the robot. You can enter the menu
    by pressing R during in the map. Now you should have at least added the Sonic
    Flare on to the robot. Refer to the Using Emerl section for more information.

    Now head to the Emerald Beach for another pratice session.

    ==============
    
    Opponent: Tails & The Robot
    Game Type: KO (10 KOs)
    
    Same as the Tail's Lab practice session, but this time you must win this match.
    The robot will be slighty harder if you equiped him with a Captured Data.
    
    =========
    
    After the battle, Sonic suggest to go to the Holy Summit and visit Knuckles.
    Because he has a Chaos Emerald that the robot could use. Then Sonic decides to
    call the robot, Emerl. Before you go there, you have to go to Tail's House and
    you meet the Fake Emerl again. Sonic lets Emerl alone fight.

    ==============
    
    Opponent: Fake Emerl
    Game Type: Survival Match (1 Point)
    
    All the training session you did should have helped you prepare for this
    battle. Try not to let the Fake Emerl to hit Emerl so you can get 5 Skill
    Points instead of 1 or 2. Do Combo Attacks, Heavy Attacks and Special Attacks.
    
    =========
    
    The Fake Emerl will not give up and anotehr battle will commence.
    
    ==============
    -=+ Battle +=-
    ==============
    
    Opponent: Fake Emerl
    Game Type: Survival Match (3 Points)
    
    Do the same as the other battle. This time you will probably get hit but try
    not to let Emerl die, so that you will get 2 Skill Points/
    
    =========
    
    Now you should have gotten a decent jump and run skill if haven't, go back and
    train until you get Tails Run and Tails Jump. You should train at Tail's House
    because you only have to fight one or two Fake Emerl. Now go to the Holy Summit
    which is top of the map. You can train at the Ruins or go to the Plains and
    meet an old friend but it isn't Gamma.

    ==============
    
    Opponent: E-102 Gamma
    Game Type: Survival Match (5 Points)
    
    This will be your very first team battle. Gamma does tons of damage using his
    1 & 2 & 3 Attacks. He is quite slow though. When he is KOed, Gamma will
    automatically self-destruct dealing over half of your health. Just gang up on
    him using all three of you guys. Do many combo attacks and special attacks.
    
    =========
    
    Gamma will recover and will be ready to battle again.

    ==============
    
    Opponent: E-102 Gamma
    Game Type: Survival Match (10 Points)
    
    Use the stragety that you used above. Don't let your guard down anytime.
    
    =========
    
    Gamma will disappear allowing you to access Knuckle's House. But unfortunely,
    Knuckles mistakes Emerl for the Fake one and attacks Emerl.
    
    ==============
    -=+ Battle +=-
    ==============
    
    Opponent: Knuckles
    Game Type: Survival Match (5 Points)
    
    This is one of the hardest battle in this episode. He has a strong attack but
    you can easily find when to guard and when to attack. Just attack when there is
    an opening and you should finish him eventually.
    
    =========
    
    Knuckles will not give up and he will not listen to anyone except for people
    stronger than him. This the hardest and final battle in the episode.

    ==============
    
    Opponent: Knuckles
    Game Type: Survival Match (10 Points)
    
    Just use the same stragety as above and you should win. This time he will be
    much stronger and smarter. JUst keep on fighting !
    
    =========
    
    Knuckles will finally realize that that isn't the Fake Emerl and will give the
    Chaos Emerald to it. Emerl should have his skill points improved by 10 and he
    should also say his first words to Sonic.
    
    --==++ Episode 2: Miles "Tails" Prower ++==--
    
    THis episode begins with Sonic asking Emerl to go to the beach to train and
    Tails gets left behind. Tails is more worried about Emerl and has to do some
    research but his computer is not working that well. So he has to bring Emerl
    to the Central Lab in the City and do some research on Emerl. Now you will
    take control of Tails and you should now head over to the Emerald Beach.
    
    When you get there Tails will tell sonic about the Central Lab thing but Sonic
    insists on having a small match before they go.

    ==============
    
    Opponent: Sonic and Emerl
    Game Type: KO Match (10 KOs)
    
    This will be your first time controlling Tails in a match, so here is a short
    description of this character. He is above average speed but lacks strength.
    His special is Chu 2 Bombs and Energy Ball, so set your power, shot and set to
    your advantages anyway you want. You do not have to win this battle.
    
    After this battle Tails says he has to go but Emerl won't listen to him. So Sonic
    tells Emerl to obey you and Emerl starts listening to you. Now at this point,
    Tail's Lab is now a training area for a one on one battle Tails vs Emerl. You
    should train a bit and update your skills until your ready to go. Now head to the
    northeast corner of the town and move to the arrow to go to Central City.
    
    Now that you are at CEntral City, head to the Crossing to meet the Fake Emerl once
    again. But this time they say his name is Phi. Since Phi is a fake, you will not
    acquire any data from him. Phi will be a random character throughout the game and
    sometimes there are two sometimes one. And sometimes they can self destruct just
    like Gamma. Also you might see they know moves from other characters you encountered.

    ==============
    
    Opponent: Phi (Fake Emerl)
    Game Type: Survival Match (5 Points)
    
    This battle will be simple so just stick to the regular and do combo attacks, heavy
    attacks, upper attacks and special attacks. These Fake Emerls will be good training
    especially if you don't die once because you will get more skill points that way.
    
    Now you should carry along the path but you should enter the Highway training area
    first for some training. Tails will also note that the highway is a very good place
    to train because they is lots of room to roam freely. By now you have have replaced
    all your basic attacks, heavy attacks, upper attacks, your jump, your run and maybe
    your guard and heal skills. It will be great benfits to have better special attacks.

    ==============
    
    Opponent: Miles "Tails" Prower
    Game Type: KO Match (10 KOs)
    
    This should be an easy fight if you have been training and adding skills as I have
    told you too. Also note that Tails has very low hitpoints. Use use our same stragety
    and you will be okay. Watch out for his special moves though.
    
    After you finish, continue to the Central Lab but the security will kick you out
    because you have no authorization. Now continue on to the Crossing once again. Rouge
    should appear there and she also offer her Lab Pass if you can beat her in a match.

    ==============
    
    Opponent: Rouge The Bat
    Game Type: KO Match (10 KOs)
    
    In this battle you will be using Tails, so get use to his moves. Emerl will be quite
    helpful in this match if you added good skills to him. You need a total of 10 KOs with
    you and Emerl put together. While Rouge is in mid-air you can use Tail's air attack to
    whip her back down to the ground. Other than her fly ability this battle is easy.
    
    After you win, Rouge will give you her Lab Pass as promised. Now head to the Central
    Lab and the security will let you in with no probloms at all. But you accessed
    confidently information and a guard robo shows up to eliminate you two !

    ==============
    
    Opponent: Guard Robo
    Game Type: Survival Match (10 Points)
    
    These Guard Robos are just like Gamma and they look kind of like Gamme too. They also
    have to same self-destruct thing like Gamma. There attacks and all other skills are
    weaker than Gamma though. This battle will be simple because if you can beat Gamma, you
    can beat these robot too. Set you specials on Set and Pow, never set on shot against these.
    
    ==============

    ==============
    
    Opponent: Guard Robo & Guard Robo
    Game Type: Survival Match (5 Points)
    
    This battle is just like the last one except this time its a 2 on 2 battle. Bunch them up
    as a group and combo them together and they should die around the same time. When they
    self destruct just press guard at the right time and you should absorb a good amount of energy.
    
    Now that you are out of Central Lab. Continue on to the Crossing for another battle.

    ==============
    
    Opponent: Guard Robo & Guard Robo
    Game Type: Survival Match (5 Points)
    
    This battle will be the exact same as the last one except you are at a whole different area.
    
    Tails will say the only way to get to Emerald Town is to cross through the Holy Summit.
    The only way right now to get to the Holy Summit is by going through the Highway so
    you should go there right now. Unless you want to train a bit because a tough battle is
    ahead. Your going to be against SHadow except he is WAY more powerful then before.

    Once you win, you will get a Shadow Data Card and if it's a good one equip it if you
    have enough skill points. Your almost out of Central City but first you must continue

    Same as the old battles. This one is really simple though. Stick to the plan.
    
    Go to the arrow which leads to the Holy Summit. Now enter Knuckle's House and speak
    with your friend Knuckles here. Knuckles will get mad and another battle will
    commence. You must win this battle to continue your story.

    Set your shot to defend to protect yourself from that giant boulder that he throws.
    He will guard more often to make this battle more difficult but just wait for an
    opening in his attacks and hit him hard. You should win soon enough.
    
    After you win, Knuckles will agree to come with you to Emerald Town. But before you
    leave to get to the town you first must go to the bridge. You will meet E-102
    Gamme again. He will be almost the exact same as last time.

    This battle should be super easy because its 3 on 1 and you can gang up on him. Use

    This time Gamma will have slighty increased health. Use the same strageties as before.

    Emerald Town. When you get thre head down to the Emerald Beach and you will encounter
    Rouge The Bat. She will tell Sonic some information about Emerl and will also demand
    Sonic to tell Emerl to obey Rouge as well as Tails. This will end the Tails Episode.

    The story starts 3 days ago. (In other words, right before Sonic found Emerl) we'll
    find Rogue, who just finished recieving orders from the president to track down the
    Gizoid. Next Rogue will access a government computer... to find information on how
    to break security systems of museums and the like... (yeah trustworthy) we'll
    eventually discover that Eggman is also using the Government computer from a
    terminal at the highway...

    Battles: Rogue VS Phi #1 (5 Point Survival Match)
    PreBattle Description: rogue will find Eggman whos upset that he threw out the Gizoid.
    After Rogue tries to get inforation out of him and discovers the gizoid was thrown out
    on the beach, Eggman will introduce his newest toy... E121 Phi...
    (its a fake Emerl/Gizoid)
    Battle Strategy: This battle is waaaay too easy, but get used to Rogue's movement
    and moves.
    PostBattle Description: Rogue will acquire an emerald shard that Phi #1 had and Eggman
    will complain that he needs to original after all.
    
    2 Battle Grounds will open up, Office and Crossing. At both places you'll fight a
    Phi... both battles are completely optional.

    PreBattle Description: After seeing Sonic take the Gizoid back,
    you'll jump to present time. Sonic, Tails and Emerl will be at the beach, and then
    Sonic will leave when he finds out Amy is coming. Amy will talk to Tails, and come
    under teh impression that Emerl Sonic and Amy's practice baby. Either way Tails
    will leave, and Amy will start talking to Emerl. Then Rogue will pop in and orders
    Emerl to leave with her... however you're dealing with Amy...
    Battle Strategy: Emerl is only as good as the skills he has equipped. Amy however
    is about as good as Sonic... don't give her a chance to attack or she'll beat on Rogue.
    Otherwise the two are pretty easy to beat. And with Rogue you can use an extremely
    cheap battle strategy that I won't get in to.
    PostBattle Description: Amy will get back up and fight again...
    Battle Strategy: Same stuff as before... no big deal, except you need 10 KOs.
    PostBattle Description: Rogue and Emerl will take off for Rogue's place in Night
    Babylon... which is through Central City.
    
    Go back to Central City, and then stop at the crossing.

    (Aww... he does care) Anyway everyone's favorite plot hole character returns,
    Gamma... and as usual hes set to kill.
    Battle Strategy: Gamma is the same as always. He seems to be slightly more
    aggressive this time however. Emerl should have the basic skills equipped by
    now, and will be able to help out. And remember to listen for Gamma's verbal
    clue before he self destructs.
    PostBattle Description: He doesn't even enter recovery mode... yet Gamma
    fights yet again.
    Battle Strategy: Same thing as before.
    PostBattle Description: With Gamma out of the way you can now get to
    Night Babylon.

    suggest actually going in this time.

             Emerl VS Rogue (2 Min "Don't Get Hit" match"
    PreBattle Description: Rogue will tell Emerl that training begins now.
    Battle Strategy: This first time, make sure Emerl has some decent attacks.
    Now focus on beating up the Guard Robo right as it gets near Emerl. This
    way it won't have time to defend. Remember, there are no verbal warnings
    before this guy blows up. You have to have at least 5 KOs by the time
    times up.
    PostBattle Description: Rogue will tell Emerl that now he has to work on
    evasive skills.
    Battle Strategy: Don't fight. Just move. Don't let Rogue hit you. Hopefully
    you should have a running skill. Regardless of it, just don't get hit, you
    can immediatly reverse when Rogue is chasing you to evade her a little. You
    can also try to Guard, but that takes a little timing.

    Objective Of Game: The objective of the game is to dig in the ground and avoid
    all of the land mines.
    
    Controls: A: Dig a Hole
                   B: Drop a Marker
    
    How to play: This game is just like Minesweeper except with Knuckles and land
                         mines. Once you dig a hole you will either get a number or no numbers.
    	   If many no number holes connected then lots will appear. It the number
                         has a 1 beside it, it mean there a landmine beside it. If 2 is means there is
                         one 2 spaces away from it. If 3, it there will be a mine 3 space away.If
                         you manage to figure out with is a mnie then drop a marker on it. Once
                         dropped enough markers on enough mines you will proceed to next level.

    After you beat the Shadow's Story and move on to Emerl's, you will notice
    in the Central City there will be a spot you can go to right outside of the
    SONICTEAM Building. Enter it and type in the following codes to recieve
    each characters combo attacks. Please note the capitals and lower case letters.

    Knuckles' Combo: yU3Da
    Amy's Combo: alogK
    Cream's Combo: ZAhan
    Shadow's Combo: ArmIa

    "How do I get a combo data card?"
    
    To get a combo card, beat the game and go back to Emerl's story. In Central
    City, there should be a white circle by the Sonic Team building. Its labelled
    "SONICTEAM" from here, put in the password for the combo card. Remember, if a
    code doesn't work, you probably wrote it wrong. Instead of lowercase L try
    capital i. Instead of the number 0 try the capital letter O. Get as many
    different combo cards as you want. You can only have one of each combo card
    type. No duplicates.
    
    "How do I use a combo data card?"
    
    After obtaining a combo card, go into Skill Edit. From here, go into the
    submenu Ground Power. Now theres more spaces for combo cards at the bottom.
    Select one. Now use it like a regular Ground Power. It cannot be blocked during
    battle, via regular L block or if your opponent has Power on Defend. It kills
    instantly if almost every hit connects. Emerl will keep attack repeadiatly and
    at the end use a finishing blow (Except in Gamma's combo card).
