Review by peach freak
"This game is so fun, you'll be playing it all day anywhere!"
At the beginning, you'll see a few people visit Princess Peach's castle. These people said they had a gift to make the Mushroom Kingdom better, but when Peach opened it, out came a witch called Cackletta, and she kidnapped Peach's voice and replaced it with explosives. But as you progress in the game, you'll find something really weird about Peach.
The graphics in this game are awesome. They are colorful and easy to see. Mario and Luigi have been designed very well, and so have the enemies and the backgrounds. Also, all the other main characters in this game have been designed well too.
This has got to be the most funniest game I have ever played in my life. Aside from that, you start the game at Mario's house, and you go to BeanBean town from there. And while battling enemies, you can comepletely dodge attacks, and if you time your dodge just right, you can do damage to them. You'll notice some of the main characters have been turned into monsters, and they become bosses. You travel around the BeanBean Kingom, battling enemies and solving puzzles. This is a really fun game. Plus, like the Super Mario Advance games, Nintendo added Mario Bros. in this game.
The music in this game is awesome. Nintendo put a lot of the classic Mario themes in this game, and I love the Warp Pipe music and the music of Little Fungitown. Obviously, there is new music in this game, and it's great too. For normal battles, the music is quite funny.
Sound Effects: 10/10
The sound effects of this game aren't bad either. Mario, Luigi, and Peach's voices are awesome. I love Luigi's voice, it's really funny. Also, all the other sound effects in this game are pretty good too.
It's fun playing this game again! If you play this game again, you can replay it to get better, check out areas you haven't explored yet, or battle more enemies for more experience. So if you're thinking of getting rid of this game when you beat it, don't even think about it.
The graphics have been much improved over the original. The graphics in this game are colorful and easy to see, and Mario looks good. The enemies and backgrounds have a nice design too.
This is pretty much straightforward gameplay. To defeat an enemy, you must get below the ledge they're on, then knock them over by hitting them under the ledge they're on, then get on the ledge and kick him into the water. To beat the phase, you must defeat all the *main* enemies in that phase. Some of the phases are Bonus Games, where you can get an extra life by collecting all the coins at the Bonus Game. There are only a small selection of enemies though. Also, when you quit the game, it has an automatic save feature, if you got a higher phase or score and you quit, it still will count.
Also, there is a multiplayer option in this game, where you need a GameBoy Advance Link Cable and Super Mario Advance 1, 2, 3, 4, or this game. You can choose to play cooperative play in Classic Mode, where you play the phases together. Or face off in Battle Mode, where you must collect 5 coins to win. When playing 2 Player Battle Mode, there is a Garbage Can, where you can go in and grab in item. To gain coins, you must defeat enemies, and coins will come out of the pipe for each enemy defeated. Or on 3-4 player Battle Mode, there is no Garbage Can, where you just collect the coins. You can have 2-4 players in either Classic or Battle Mode.
Sound Effects: 10/10
The sound effects are good in this game. Mario sounds good, and defeating an enemy, and collecting a coin sound good, while others sound good too. It also sounds nice when you kick an enemy to the water.
The music is good too. I love the Bonus Game music, it sounds really good. Also, the music in the phases sound good too. The beginning of the phase isn't bad either. The normal phase music doesn't sound bad too.
It may get boring playing this game again, because if you get game over on a really high phase, you'll have to start from scratch from Phase 1. Or, you can replay this to improve your phase and score.
Rent or Buy?
Buy this game, you WILL love it. It's so fun and funny, and if you have the money, get the Super Mario Advance games too, because Nintendo should be really proud of this game, it's just awesome, and I know you'll love it.
Mario and Luigi: 10/10
